Visitors can find amenities for almost every outdoor activity, including a Winter Recreation Area, Eastman Nature Center, miles of hiking and biking trails, a swim pond, mountain biking, archery, camp cabins, dog off-leash area, and more.
Visitors can spot a variety of wildlife such as eagles, sandhill cranes, deer, bluebirds, beavers, loons, trumpeter swans, and hawks.
A woodland/savanna restoration project will begin in the northeastern part of the park in the winter of 2024. The project will restore 42 acres of oak woods through multiple phases involving the removal of invasive species and seeding of native plants.
Recreational activities at the park include archery, disc golf, skiing, snowboarding, geocaching, and hiking on paved and turf trails. There are also camper cabins, group campsites, and a horse camp available for visitors.
A daily or annual pass is required for activities such as archery, disc golf, dog off-leash area, and skiing. Reservations are required for camper cabins, group campsites, and the horse camp. Visitors are advised to check trail conditions for ski rentals availability.
