Minneapolis Northwest KOA Journey: what do users think?

Maddie Kapalko: We stopped at here for the night after traveling about 15 hours from Ohio. It was our first RV and campground experience and everything was really nice! The people were very friendly and showed us our spot for the night. The campground was quiet and clean, with full hookups. It was a little ways off the highway but not too far. The perfect place to stop for the night. I would highly recommend!

Pamela Rollins: Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value

Fred Flintstone: The campground is immaculately maintained. The owner/operators are very caring and customer oriented people. The stars are spaced nicely. Excellent amenities and close, but not too close access to highway 94 make this an excellent destination for just one night or for weeks at a time. This is a campground, there are no "rooms" in a motel sense. They do have a couple kamping kabins you can rent, but this review is hard to fit into a motel review framework.

Melissa Nealey: It is a nice quiet campground. The pool is nice and the laundry facilities are clean.Location: 5/5 …

Rich Close: This is a nice campground for RV’s if you get a site that’s paved with full hook ups. Everything is clean and well maintained, logs of grass. The campground is part of a huge park network with logs of hiking and biking trails. It’s also convenient to Mall of America if that’s one of your stops.

Tim Javurek: Lebonon hills campground was very nice, well kept. The bathrooms were the among cleanest we've seen.Thank you Lebanon Hills "We'll be back".........

Mississippi National River and Recreation Area: what do users think?

Brenda Shockey: Only have experienced the Omni Theater and it was pretty cool.

Andy Smith: The visitor center itself is really nice and has lots of information. There is a short walk down to the river, but the park here is no what I would call a recreation park. If you are exploring other parts of the MNR&RA then this is somewhere to visit as it has all the info about the park and the various sections and how to get to them. Its co-located with the science museum which is well worth a visit.

Rodney Tholen: Fun spot inside the Minnesota Science Museum building. No ticket needed.

Richard Erickson: Nice visitor center that is part of a large museum.

Cam Kay: The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area Visitors Center is Awesome. Great Staff and tons of information. Check it out!

Amelia Liu: Nice little exhibit!

Edgar Ramirez: Parking is hard but man what a view!

Leira Snewo: First, the pictures arent the greatest of representation of this museum. In fact these pictures are extremely underwhelming. But to my main point of business. Anyone have a kid that is a PAIN to take anywhere? Or am I the only one? Everywhere I go, this kid just complains about everything & honestly, it's a drag. Nothing makes this kid happy. NOTHING. So after 5 minutes of forcing this kid into the museum, she ended up BEGGING me to not leave. She's a pre-teen btw. That's really important to add because I think the Childrens museum in Boston & Chattanooga are AMAZING. But those are great for tiny kids. MNR is great for kids of all ages, even those who are too cool for school.MNR is 3 stories of educational fun. On the first floor, they have an amazing store, a cafe

Cory Walaitis: Fun place to check out. The floor being a birds eye view of the Twin Cities. Cool to pop in if you're already going to the museum.

Andy Jopling: Cool interactive exhibits.

Daniel J: Looked great, lots of exhibits and informative!

Van Wilder: Prepare to be captivated by the allure of the mighty Mississippi River as you embark on an unforgettable adventure through the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, history buff, or simply seeking a serene escape from city life, this national treasure promises to leave you with cherished memories and a newfound appreciation for the river's significance. The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, spanning over 72 miles through Minnesota, is a haven of natural beauty and cultural heritage. From its humble beginnings at Lake Itasca to its grandeur as it flows through the Twin Cities and beyond, the Mississippi River offers a diverse range of experiences to suit every visitor's desires. One of the highlights of this area is the abundance of recreational opportunities available. Hiking and biking trails wind along the riverbanks, offering picturesque views of the waterway and its surrounding landscapes. You can paddle your way through the gentle currents, immersing yourself in the tranquility of the river. The fishing opportunities are bountiful, providing a chance to catch a variety of fish species.History comes alive within the park's boundaries, and history enthusiasts will find themselves enchanted by the stories of early explorers, Native American cultures, and the region's industrial past. Don't miss the chance to explore the restored historic sites, visitor centers, and interpretive exhibits that offer insights into the river's role in shaping the nation's history and culture. For urban explorers, the section of the river flowing through the Twin Cities provides a unique blend of natural beauty and metropolitan allure. Iconic landmarks such as the Stone Arch Bridge and St. Anthony Falls offer breathtaking views of the river and the city skyline, making it a photographer's paradise. The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area also boast abundant wildlife. Birdwatchers will delight in spotting a wide array of avian species, including bald eagles soaring above the river. Keep an eye out for playful river otters and elusive deer that call this area home.

Mr. Sam7639: Amazing for the kids

Robert Norman: Quite un informative for a n p site

Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Minnesota: what do users think?

K S: twice a year for several years now. They've always been awesome with food allergies and service. We love the staff. They are wonderful. Sadly, the corporation had started charging for parking, so with rising costs, that may affect our groups future stays. I hope they rethink that policy.

J McMullin: My kid loves it here. We went last summer and had troubles with the electronic lockers, but a staff member Blai went above and beyond to make sure we were more than happy. The large tube slide was down for maintenance when we went this year, but we knew this since their website announced it quite prominently. It’s a great ride. The Alberta Falls tube slides are fun. Staff was again helpful.I give 4/5 since some stuff is crazy overpriced. $17ish for a burger basket and $4 for a fountain soda with no refill. A full cheese pizza for $20 is ok, but $5 Little Cesar’s is better. The arcade “points” makes it hard to realize it is $3-5 per play. I normally would spend $20-40 at an arcade with my kids but that’s only 10-15 minutes here.

Vihar Dave: on your main hand. I was scrolling through the menu and apparently got charged but I was able to explain them and they didn't give me any hassle. One more thing the family restrooms at the water park are not very clean as they were not maintained on the day we went. But overall a great experience and my kiddo loved it!Rooms: Clean nice roomsFood & drinks: Great food options for dinner and lunch, although not a great option for breakfast, especially if you don't eat red meat or pork. Considering the price for breakfast I would have hoped for lot more options especially for veg people.

Wesley. wry: Beautiful view!

Dan Bell: Nice relaxing park to walk thru. The stream going through the park makes it a nice place to walk and/or sit and relax.Restrooms: Porta John only

Salmon Soup: So many squirrels ❤️❤️❤️

Robert Sibell: Great playground and pool for the toddlers.

Melanie Hunt: Beautiful park with a very nice walking trail and beautiful fall foliage. There is a trail to the river

NELLHY BASALDÚ (Wûêrîîttâ): Enjoying my favorite season of the year 🍂❤️

gandham bhavani: September isn’t the right time to visit as the water has dried up. June and july would be appropriate months to enjoy the water falls

Hard Rocker: This is a very famous and popular attraction in Minnesota. There are many people going there to visit and walk around. There are two completely different areas there. One is for walking towards waterfalls and rivers. In the other area, people have set up many sheds and some businesses. They sell art, and some businesses sell drinks or specialty food. It’s a good place to spend your time.

Rich Flynn: Awesome!!!

Kelly Fischer: Played disc golf with my son

Greg Zillgitt: My experience of this park is only from the parking lot where Godfrey Parkway becomes West River Road along the river, under the Ford Bridge, and on to Lock & Dam #1. The river views, and particularly the bridge, are imposing. Plenty of parks benches to relax and take in the views. Looking forward to the observation deck opening on the local & dam.Hope you enjoy the pictures - if you do please give them a "like".

Thompson County Park: what do users think?

Skye xxxIII: Beautiful spring like day/picnic Sunday outing... they've updated the play area by gating it completely... it's like a coral...they also added new decks, more concrete and wood sitting area, long benches, more tables with seating...from decks next to the water, to the upgraded pier... it was just as beautiful as my last visit here. more so, because it wasn't as hot, it was 75°F, no wind...we brought picnic basket and sat on our mat under a tree to provide shade...These pics are a mix of pics from the last visit and the current visit. on 5 9.2k24.There is so much more to this park now.Playground: It's awesome. You can play on monkey bars. Climb up roping Nets, even play on drums as well. As a xylophone and numerous other noise makers. As well as slides a merry go roundon't and a bunch of swings for every age, even toddlers ... There's also a little Clubhouse in the area. And like I said, a whole lot more tables with seating.Restrooms: Restrooms are close to the playground as well. As the area, you can go to on the opposite side of the park, where some piers are located. l There's a loo that end too...Dog-friendliness: I saw a lot of good boys with their parents. Walking on various paths & walkways. Resting under trees and in the grass. It looks like all of them were very happy.Picnic area: Well,. kept clean for the most part. It looks like people take up and pick up after themselves. Whether in the picnic area is located away from the playground.Even the grassy areas under various trees are kept well-manicured.

Mike k: Great park for a hike or to take kids.Last year a new kids play area was added to the park. Kids seem to love it.

Russell Boeman: We are new to the area and have visited this park a couple of times. It's well maintained and the flower gardens near the parking/entry area are a delight! There are paved trails and natural trails for whatever level of hike you need!Playground: A new fence all around the playground area.Restrooms: Inside the center. Clean and well maintained facility!Dog-friendliness: Many people walk their dogs here! Must be leashed.Picnic area: There are numerous picnic tables and a large pavillion for group gatherings.

Jesus Garcia: Restrooms: Goodrest rooms

Juan Perez: My Dad used to take us all the time and I took my daughter. It's a great place for birthday parties, but the truth is that I was looking it up for a fellow bus passenger that was going to get the taxes done by prepare and prosper.

Fatima Miranda: I love this park, very quiet and clean.
