Town & Country RV Park and Campground: what do users think?

Stiles Bliss: This campground is nestled in a sleepy little nook of the Twin Cities. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They offered to guide me through setting up my camper as this is my first one and I had no idea what I was doing. Very quiet and comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for.Nearby activities: Very close to plenty of restaurants, activities, and stores.

D Banks: Chilling with my twin 🤞🏾💕🤘🏾🔥☺️😊Location: 5/5 …

Carrie Chanudet: will miss T&C greatly! It’s a great place with good people, nice amenities and fun location. It’s a very family oriented community & we felt very welcomed and hugely supported during some trying times this past year. The Work camper group is a great team and offered good incentives to help maintain the campgrounds. We were proud to be a part of it and so grateful for our time here. We made many good friends and wonderful memories that we will keep always. The Olmstead family now feels like an extension of our own & Hope

Lori Robinson: We came in late may for a family situation, I can't express the gratitude that we have.. we were treated with great hospitality, very concerned about our situation. Should us to our site, and were more than expected to help out.. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Minneapolis area.. we were close to grocery stores.. this was a very friendly family place to stay.. for sure we will be back..

Heidi Hart: Town & Country Campground is certainly a wonderful warm and inviting place to camp and vacation. If RV camping is your thing this is a great place to call home for a while. My kids and I had reservations for a 3 night stay and had to pull out a day earlier, do to rain. We car and tent camped at two great suites on the property. We were definitely sad to have to pull out early. We will definitely be visiting again next season. The staff are very friendly and the service they provide to their guests is top notch. The resort has a office with on site little shop for snacks and things, Wi-Fi, a pool, park for the kiddos, the grounds are beautiful, recreation center, laundry facilities, bathrooms with showers, fire pit patio, storm shelter... I am sure I am forgetting something. Everything is immaculate. This is truly a 5 star home away from home!Thank you, Town and Country Campground for your hospitality!See you next year!!! ❤️🙏Sincerely,Heidi Hart

Katie Stein: seasonal spots, and I bet it would be fun

Dee Worrall: The rv site we had was great with plenty of space for our dog. Lots of tree coverage helped keep the temperature moderate in the rv. The office staff is helpful and very friendly! I saw the reviews on the tight campsites and was concerned, but it was more spacious than several other campsites we've been to. The driving could be tight in spots, but just go slow. There is a walking path you can access from the nw corner of the park. There is also a decent restaurant within walking distance and a brewery as well.Good kayaking on Clearly lake, about 8.5 miles away. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area. When we are back this direction, we will definitely stay here!Nearby activities: Walking paths and kayaking near by

Lisa Steiner: there are only two showers so you might have to wait a bit…and lots of Moskitos in the evening.Hotel highlights Great value …

Dennis Friesz: Not far to the Mall of America or Valley Fair. The kids loved the game room.Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …

Scott T.: . Laundry area looked nice but we did not use it. Friendly staff and great location for us; Valley fair- 3 miles away / State Fair 32 minutes away / Renaissance Fair- 12 miles away. Lastly, good water and proper working hook-ups. Will return again. A+

Chuck s: We had the most fun here than any other campgrounds we have ever been to. The other repete campers from Canada and from out of state are awesome as well.Nearby activities: Great hiking trails and can walk to nearby places for a cold beer if you desire

Amber Bouret: Great trails

Salika Pao: I let my dog run around. It's a great place to visit.

Raquel Strickland: Lovely routes, clearly labeled by mile length

Patrick Larkin: Pretty dece park. I would like to know why the spring has such a large retention pond. I suspect it makes it prone to algae buildup. Beautiful upper prairie.

B Johnson Photos Brenda Johnson: Great hike through this National Park! Bring your dog! The dog park is adjacent.

Abdi Ahmed: I was wondering do people drink the spring water

No. 7: Ohhh how I love to visit this wonderful oasis.

Jesus Vazquez: Very beautiful! Sometimes it brings me back to the old days, and how beautiful it must have been in the early days.

Noah Kleinschmidt: A1 spring imo

Tara H: so we wouldn’t recommend if you happen to be super sensitive to smells. Trails are gravel, feels like walking on someone’s driveway, but nice to know you’re not getting covered in woodticks.

Vince McCannell-Unger: A great place for a moment of quiet and nature. Is a National Park.

Rich Close: This is a nice campground for RV’s if you get a site that’s paved with full hook ups. Everything is clean and well maintained, logs of grass. The campground is part of a huge park network with logs of hiking and biking trails. It’s also convenient to Mall of America if that’s one of your stops.

Minneapolis Northwest KOA Journey: what do users think?

Maddie Kapalko: We stopped at here for the night after traveling about 15 hours from Ohio. It was our first RV and campground experience and everything was really nice! The people were very friendly and showed us our spot for the night. The campground was quiet and clean, with full hookups. It was a little ways off the highway but not too far. The perfect place to stop for the night. I would highly recommend!

Pamela Rollins: Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value

Fred Flintstone: The campground is immaculately maintained. The owner/operators are very caring and customer oriented people. The stars are spaced nicely. Excellent amenities and close, but not too close access to highway 94 make this an excellent destination for just one night or for weeks at a time. This is a campground, there are no "rooms" in a motel sense. They do have a couple kamping kabins you can rent, but this review is hard to fit into a motel review framework.

Melissa Nealey: It is a nice quiet campground. The pool is nice and the laundry facilities are clean.Location: 5/5 …

Nick Marthaler: Great place for an all day nature walk or hike 👍👍

Lindsay Levang: Fun family walk!

Nate Rock: Used to come here for track and field in the 90’s. Nice 70 degree spring day. Took a quick jaunt around one of the smaller lakes. Folks of all ages were out and about with the eir dogs and/or children.

Sarah Huntley: This park is 30 minutes from me but well worth the drive. The visitor center is very accommodating with indoor bathrooms and kids spaces. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did a short paved walk because of time constraints but would love to go back and take the longer trails. There is a beach and multiple docks. The park is large so it never felt overcrowded. There is ample parking…My only complaint is the planes flying over which did take away from the nature aspect of the park.Still it is a beautiful destination and we will visit again.Restrooms: Both indoor and outdoor accessible bathrooms spaces at the visitor center.Dog-friendliness: Dogs were well mannered and enjoying themselves.Picnic area: Lots of open spaces to sit and enjoy a picnic

elizabeth bailey: They have some of the most beautiful hiking trails I have ever seen! Sooo many options and the views are incredible!!

Mississippi National River and Recreation Area: what do users think?

Brenda Shockey: Only have experienced the Omni Theater and it was pretty cool.

Andy Smith: The visitor center itself is really nice and has lots of information. There is a short walk down to the river, but the park here is no what I would call a recreation park. If you are exploring other parts of the MNR&RA then this is somewhere to visit as it has all the info about the park and the various sections and how to get to them. Its co-located with the science museum which is well worth a visit.

Rodney Tholen: Fun spot inside the Minnesota Science Museum building. No ticket needed.

Richard Erickson: Nice visitor center that is part of a large museum.

Cam Kay: The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area Visitors Center is Awesome. Great Staff and tons of information. Check it out!

Amelia Liu: Nice little exhibit!

Edgar Ramirez: Parking is hard but man what a view!

Leira Snewo: First, the pictures arent the greatest of representation of this museum. In fact these pictures are extremely underwhelming. But to my main point of business. Anyone have a kid that is a PAIN to take anywhere? Or am I the only one? Everywhere I go, this kid just complains about everything & honestly, it's a drag. Nothing makes this kid happy. NOTHING. So after 5 minutes of forcing this kid into the museum, she ended up BEGGING me to not leave. She's a pre-teen btw. That's really important to add because I think the Childrens museum in Boston & Chattanooga are AMAZING. But those are great for tiny kids. MNR is great for kids of all ages, even those who are too cool for school.MNR is 3 stories of educational fun. On the first floor, they have an amazing store, a cafe

Cory Walaitis: Fun place to check out. The floor being a birds eye view of the Twin Cities. Cool to pop in if you're already going to the museum.

Andy Jopling: Cool interactive exhibits.

Daniel J: Looked great, lots of exhibits and informative!

Van Wilder: Prepare to be captivated by the allure of the mighty Mississippi River as you embark on an unforgettable adventure through the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, history buff, or simply seeking a serene escape from city life, this national treasure promises to leave you with cherished memories and a newfound appreciation for the river's significance. The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, spanning over 72 miles through Minnesota, is a haven of natural beauty and cultural heritage. From its humble beginnings at Lake Itasca to its grandeur as it flows through the Twin Cities and beyond, the Mississippi River offers a diverse range of experiences to suit every visitor's desires. One of the highlights of this area is the abundance of recreational opportunities available. Hiking and biking trails wind along the riverbanks, offering picturesque views of the waterway and its surrounding landscapes. You can paddle your way through the gentle currents, immersing yourself in the tranquility of the river. The fishing opportunities are bountiful, providing a chance to catch a variety of fish species.History comes alive within the park's boundaries, and history enthusiasts will find themselves enchanted by the stories of early explorers, Native American cultures, and the region's industrial past. Don't miss the chance to explore the restored historic sites, visitor centers, and interpretive exhibits that offer insights into the river's role in shaping the nation's history and culture. For urban explorers, the section of the river flowing through the Twin Cities provides a unique blend of natural beauty and metropolitan allure. Iconic landmarks such as the Stone Arch Bridge and St. Anthony Falls offer breathtaking views of the river and the city skyline, making it a photographer's paradise. The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area also boast abundant wildlife. Birdwatchers will delight in spotting a wide array of avian species, including bald eagles soaring above the river. Keep an eye out for playful river otters and elusive deer that call this area home.

Mr. Sam7639: Amazing for the kids

Whitetail Woods Camper Cabins: what do users think?

Peter O'Brien: Despite facing the extreme cold of a polar vortex at -12°F, our stay at Whitetail Wood Camper Cabins was nothing short of exceptional. The cabin provided a warm, clean, and cozy refuge from the harsh elements outside. Despite the frigid temperatures, we braved the weather and enjoyed cooking steaks over the fire pit, adding an adventurous touch to our winter getaway. The overall experience was nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait to return to Whitetail Wood Camper Cabins for another unforgettable stay.

Sandra S: Wish there was a bathroom ln house!

Bryan Burford 041: They are neat

Deirdre Opp: Lovely park with great trails and amenities

David Vinge: Comfortable modern cabins with heat and electricity but no running water. The Prairie View Cabins also have air conditioning. Advanced reservations are required, but last-minute openings do happen. A shared restroom and separate shower rooms are kept clean by an attendant. We received several inches of snow overnight, and the paths and parking were cleared early in the morning. Views from the cabins ranged from deep woods to rolling open prairie. Nearby trails and paths lead deep into the park. There is a long sledding hill, play area, and picnic shelter a short drive away.

Roberto Zayas: Great Dakota county regional park!

Erika Storvick: Beautiful & minimalist, but has everything you need. These cabins are close to the cities, and affordable! Highly recommendRestrooms: Very nice, modern restrooms!

Nickoel Anderson: Nice park with great little camping cabins. Have to cart in stuff a very short walk, but they provide carts to do this. Park is part prairie quality done woods, nice wide walking/ski trails.

Uzma Ali: Cabins are amazingly engineered and created with the help of a local high school class. The design is very functional and can accommodate 6.

Michael Reed: Great facilities - we had pine cabin 3 - just secluded enough. Good heat and clean room. We'll kept restrooms and showers. Online descriptions and info about the cabins was excellent

gandham bhavani: September isn’t the right time to visit as the water has dried up. June and july would be appropriate months to enjoy the water falls

Hard Rocker: This is a very famous and popular attraction in Minnesota. There are many people going there to visit and walk around. There are two completely different areas there. One is for walking towards waterfalls and rivers. In the other area, people have set up many sheds and some businesses. They sell art, and some businesses sell drinks or specialty food. It’s a good place to spend your time.

Rich Flynn: Awesome!!!

Kelly Fischer: Played disc golf with my son

Greg Zillgitt: My experience of this park is only from the parking lot where Godfrey Parkway becomes West River Road along the river, under the Ford Bridge, and on to Lock & Dam #1. The river views, and particularly the bridge, are imposing. Plenty of parks benches to relax and take in the views. Looking forward to the observation deck opening on the local & dam.Hope you enjoy the pictures - if you do please give them a "like".

Dakotah Meadows RV Park: what do users think?

Bryan Johnson: I attended a conference at Mystic Lake Casino. Last year, I stayed in the hotel at the casino. The hotel walls were so thin that I could hear the neighboring rooms plain as day. This year, I opted to bring my travel trailer and stay at The Meadows RV Park. This was a much better experience! The RV park is clean and well kept. It was quiet for the most part; one night, it sounded like someone was racing around the roads nearby and in the parking lot of the hotel. I don't blame the park for this, and it was not the norm. The sites are mostly level, I did have to use blocks, though. When I booked, the website said that there were no back-in sites available, so I booked a pull-through. I think this may have been because when I booked, the park wasn't officially open for the year or something, though, because there were a lot of back-in sites available while I was here. Those would have been much better for my rig as the hookups are all in the rear of the trailer and the pedestal and sewer hookups are really far forward in the pull-through sites. I ended up having to block traffic while disconnecting and reconnecting the trailer. The pad was also quite narrow. In order to have room for the slideout to be extended, the steps had to be over the grass/mud as opposed to ending on the cement pad.All things considered I would certainly stay here again. If you choose to stay here, just realize that it is a RV park that serves a casino. There isn't a view, the sites are quite small, If you are here for an event or to play at the casino, it is a great option. If I come back, I won't hesitate to book here.

Amaris Kiara: but this is a really nice park

Double Decker Fam: This is a well maintained RV Park with paved roads and good size lots. They also have a fuel station and overflow parking if you arrive before your space is available. We really enjoyed this RV park and would definitely return if we’re in the area. We used this as our basecamp while exploring Minneapolis and felt like it was a bit of a drive, but not too far.

Mark Mathews: Great RV park plenty of room for larger rigs. Close to the Mall of America and Minneapolis, but far enough away from city noiseNearby activities: Casino is nearby within walking distance

Pack Man: It is not really close to MPLS/St. Paul. The place is noisy. We kind of knew what we were getting before we went so we rented a cabin instead of tenting it. Not somewhere we would typically go camping as we like secluded and quiet but if your okay with some city noise and looking for a quick get away that's pet friendly and kid friendly it's okay. Staff seemed friendly the little we interacted.
