Coldwater Spring: what do users think?

Amber Bouret: Great trails

Salika Pao: I let my dog run around. It's a great place to visit.

Raquel Strickland: Lovely routes, clearly labeled by mile length

Patrick Larkin: Pretty dece park. I would like to know why the spring has such a large retention pond. I suspect it makes it prone to algae buildup. Beautiful upper prairie.

B Johnson Photos Brenda Johnson: Great hike through this National Park! Bring your dog! The dog park is adjacent.

Abdi Ahmed: I was wondering do people drink the spring water

No. 7: Ohhh how I love to visit this wonderful oasis.

Jesus Vazquez: Very beautiful! Sometimes it brings me back to the old days, and how beautiful it must have been in the early days.

Noah Kleinschmidt: A1 spring imo

Tara H: so we wouldn’t recommend if you happen to be super sensitive to smells. Trails are gravel, feels like walking on someone’s driveway, but nice to know you’re not getting covered in woodticks.

Vince McCannell-Unger: A great place for a moment of quiet and nature. Is a National Park.

Joshua Theis: Great park by the river sweet agates down by the river

John Baxter: Nice area.

Mary Farrell: Lots of trails, river views, and a couple of different playgrounds, including a very natural one near the interpretive center.

Dorie Wicklund: We love it here. Have been visiting here since they built it 15 years ago!

Vivian K: Cook, quiet, peaceful. My first bike ride. I bought it last year. Needs adjustments. Rode it anyways.

Kristen Mac: Great place for a walk by yourself or with your pet.

Susan Ramlet: Went to a great "walk and talk" today as part of the Great Northern Festival. Learned a lot about the history of this park and how it came about. What a treasure in the cities and in the neighborhood. A gift for the natural environment and all the flora and fauna that rely on the river. The naturalist was well educated and engaging. The visitors' center is a nice educational space.Playground: There are at least a couple of playgrounds in the park. One is natural by the visitor center, and the other is a large structure near the picnic space.Restrooms: Nice restrooms inside the visitors' center.

Natalia Davis: It's a big park with fun equipment for all ages. Nice scenery except for the homeless camp under the pavilion The splash pad/wading pool is open in the summer and a great place to cool off. You can tell it's old/worn out but it still works. Three Rivers takes good care of its parks and trails.

Gary Berg: I lime to take walks on the paths there

Kevin Reed: Great park for birdwatching

Mike Samson: Santa's Seal of Approval. 👍👍Restrooms: Bathrooms are located in the Trailhead BuildingDog-friendliness: Walking paths for dogs and ownersPicnic area: Outdoor tables near the beach in grassy areas

Pavan Kumar: Beautiful park for a morning walk. Lots of seating at different spots which are beautiful pit stops along your run. There’s a fairly nice track of about 4 miles around the entire park. I was able to catch the sunrise, and it was calming. The upper part of the park gives an Icelandic vibe, while the southern portion is a trail around a lake. There’s basketball courts, tennis courts, by the lake patios. Amazing bike trail as well. Must visit!

Drew Thorne: It's the creek. What more is there to say???

Carla J Magnuson: Great walk in the woods in the middle of town.

Paul Economon: Lovely area.

matt cottrill: My first tee-ball game, circa 1985, was across the parkway. And when I got railed in the nuts by the first batted ball, I blindly ran across the road to the edge of the creek and cried and cried and cried. I didn’t don a glove again til 1992.But I go back to that spot occasionally and appreciate what the creek did for me that day.

Bob Bobonde: Just passed by

Justin Peterson: Peaceful and serene, nice water creek sound... Nature walk

D Hampton: A gem in the city

Dan Bell: Nice relaxing park to walk thru. The stream going through the park makes it a nice place to walk and/or sit and relax.Restrooms: Porta John only

Salmon Soup: So many squirrels ❤️❤️❤️

Robert Sibell: Great playground and pool for the toddlers.

Melanie Hunt: Beautiful park with a very nice walking trail and beautiful fall foliage. There is a trail to the river

NELLHY BASALDÚ (Wûêrîîttâ): Enjoying my favorite season of the year 🍂❤️

gandham bhavani: September isn’t the right time to visit as the water has dried up. June and july would be appropriate months to enjoy the water falls

Hard Rocker: This is a very famous and popular attraction in Minnesota. There are many people going there to visit and walk around. There are two completely different areas there. One is for walking towards waterfalls and rivers. In the other area, people have set up many sheds and some businesses. They sell art, and some businesses sell drinks or specialty food. It’s a good place to spend your time.

Rich Flynn: Awesome!!!

Kelly Fischer: Played disc golf with my son

Greg Zillgitt: My experience of this park is only from the parking lot where Godfrey Parkway becomes West River Road along the river, under the Ford Bridge, and on to Lock & Dam #1. The river views, and particularly the bridge, are imposing. Plenty of parks benches to relax and take in the views. Looking forward to the observation deck opening on the local & dam.Hope you enjoy the pictures - if you do please give them a "like".

Mill Ruins Park: what do users think?

Nick DiColandrea: Wonderful views! It’s under construction right now but still very cool!

Drew King: beautiful views of the city and of historic landmarks.

Calvin Johnson 3: I love, beautiful views of the city

Akshaya Bhagavathula: During a recent exploration of Minneapolis's rich historical landscape, I visited Mill Ruins Park, a site that beautifully intertwines the city’s industrial past with its vibrant present. Nestled along the Mississippi River, this park offers a unique glimpse into the 19th-century mills that once were the heartbeat of Minneapolis. The park is a fascinating mix of historical ruins and modern architecture, where weathered stone walls and remnants of old mills stand against a backdrop of the city skyline. Walking through Mill Ruins Park, I felt as though I was stepping back in time. Informational plaques scattered throughout the area provide a wealth of knowledge about the flour mills that once dominated the area and played a pivotal role in the city's development. One of the highlights of my visit was the opportunity to walk along the river and enjoy the scenic views of St. Anthony Falls and the Stone Arch Bridge. The sound of rushing water and the sight of the falls added a dynamic element to the tranquil historical exploration. It’s a photographer’s delight and a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a bit of nature in the urban setting. The park is very accessible, with well-maintained pathways that make it easy to explore the ruins and riverfront. Whether you’re a history buff, nature lover, or simply looking for a picturesque place to unwind, Mill Ruins Park offers something for everyone. The blend of history, nature, and urban scenery makes it a must-visit location in Minneapolis. My visit to Mill Ruins Park was not only educational but also incredibly inspiring. It provided a profound sense of connection to the city's past, making it one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Minneapolis.

Robertson Souza: Nice place.Dog-friendliness: Dog-friendless are...

John Swanke: A must do place for beautiful pictures of the city, especially at night with the skyscrapers lit up...

Father Hennepin Bluff Park: what do users think?

Brian Wene: The events occurring here are consistently of very high value. I've watched films on the giant screen set up & have seen incredible talent showing their artistic greatness to eager crowds. Festivals are common during warmer times & good fun is had by all especially on warmer days.Restrooms: There are Men's & Women's restroom.Dog-friendliness: The park is a dog-friendly location.Picnic area: There are picnic areas.

Sadie Christensen: It was nice but really busy for my liking. But don’t get me wrong it was clean and well kept and nothing bad to say about the park itself. You will need to pay for parking which is fine for me but know they charge by the hour. It was worth checking out once for sure. But I like quieter parks to escape the city life. They even have paths for bikes and paths for walking.

Arunava Banerjee: Serene and calm!

george moeller: Nice bike paths.

Ana Cabrera: Great place to feel like an explorer.

jason williams: Love it

Grant Globus: PLEASE DONT LITTER

Richard Aizpuru: Jerk Station Rotisserie Chicken is a superb addition to food choices at the newly renovated park. Dave the owner and chef prepares an incredible jerk beef, chicken, lamb or tofu kebab, pita, or salad . I had the pita jerk beef : really fresh ingredients : great sweet pickle, hot peppers, tomatoes, onions and secret sauce.Jerk Station is a great destination walk from the Mill Museum as it is right at the end of the Stone Arch Bridge. Excellent fresh baked goods too!!Nice selection of beverages .

abellenin1: Beautiful park to walk and enjoy the weekend

Kennedy Kell: The lower trail is one of my favorite place to go in Minneapolis! It’s changed a bit since I was younger and made a bit ‘safer’ but still a fun place!

Elizabeth Lindig: Great trails, clean.

Diana “Electric” Current: Went for a walk it was great.Dog-friendliness: I had my 2 dogs with me.

Rusty Palmer: I bring children there every Sunday. I am very pleased with the park.

Jeffrey Grier: Great beach/pool. I'll bring some grill out stuff next time. Great location

Nolan Anderson: Awesome free pool with a diving platform and kiddie pool. Great place to cool off!

Gail Ebert: Bad choice on a cool day. Kids didn't like the slimy bottom.

Harry Moran: A great place for kids of all ages. Lots of play equipment and a sense of openers no matter where you're at.Restrooms: Convenient and clean restrooms.

Atalia Rickard: . The bottom has a slimy texture from the algae buildup. I thought it was nice but the rest of the people in my group thought it felt gross 🤷‍♀️ Due to what I think is from the plants cleaning the water, it smelled of cilantro in the air.

Giorgio Rossi: Great pool - but because it is, water can get kinda scuzzy, especially in the heat of the summer. This still doesn't deter my wife and I and our 1 year old from going and enjoying a swim - we just make it a priority to shower immediately when we get home

Matty Jorgensen: lots of trails to walk/hike. maybe don’t stay out too much past sunset - it gets dark fast!

Jim Soley: Beautiful place along the Mississippi River

Ricardo Martinez: This place is great for hiking, exploring, fishing, biking and animal watching. Bunch of paved and unpaved trails. I've seen beavers, eagles, coyotes and a bunch of other animals. Shadow Falls Park: what do users think?

Bug Folk: This is a fun place to hike. There's a long trail that will take you near the Marshall Ave Bridge on one side and the other side leads to the waterfall. Though my pictures are from spring, my favorite time to visit this place is in the fall. It looks magical almost with bright golden oaks and maples, red and dappled orange, lots of fall colors. There are rock ledges to look over the river, that is if they aren't already occupied. One thing I don't like is the graffiti on the waterfall at the moment of this review.

T: The paved trails at street level are nice, but when it's wet out you need to prepare for mud if you want a close look at Shadow Falls. There's a bit of parking and an overlook/monument along the road.

Mikaela G: Beautiful clean park with excellent views

k nels: Beautiful views from above, amazing down in the creek valley. A gentle sloped dirt path starts the "point" at east end. Then paths around the falls get steep and can be muddy, difficult. Also steeper paths down from Summit Overlook area.I've enjoyed the creek valley and creek outlook to river even more than the falls

Jennifer Everly: Dog-friendliness: Lots of dog enjoying the hills, splashing in the water

Max Andresen: that leads into the Mississippi, and a cool viewing place for the river and Minneapolis.Picnic area: Nice grassy area between garden and WW1 memorial
