Hyland Hills Ski Area: what do users think?

Sponge bob Square pants: Very nice ski park. People will help out if you ask and everything is organized. The bathrooms were clean and the was a nice place to eat. Great first experience for skiing. Customer service was very nice.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

DAVID WEST: Honestly, it is the best ski place in the country, but you close way too early in the season. There is snow for at least two more extra months, and that is also losing money 💰 .People want you to stay open longer while there is snow ❄️ on the ground. Common sense too.Think think think about it, please 🙏

Minh Nguyen: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait

Bobby M: First off I really love Hyland. It’s a beautiful facility and they do a great job maintaining the runs and terrain park especially with this difficult winter that’s been thrown at them. But I’m shocked by the bigotry, racism, homophobia, and bullying I see in the terrain park. Tonight I helped a foreign exchange student whose binding had an issue after someone ran into her. She was stuck halfway down the hill struggling to fix it while kids mocked her for not speaking English. Another young adult was bullying my elementary school son all night trying to shake him off the tow rope. I tried to get him to focus on the nice kids he encountered, but the bullies definitely affect his feelings towards the sport.

Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Minnesota: what do users think?

K S: twice a year for several years now. They've always been awesome with food allergies and service. We love the staff. They are wonderful. Sadly, the corporation had started charging for parking, so with rising costs, that may affect our groups future stays. I hope they rethink that policy.

J McMullin: My kid loves it here. We went last summer and had troubles with the electronic lockers, but a staff member Blai went above and beyond to make sure we were more than happy. The large tube slide was down for maintenance when we went this year, but we knew this since their website announced it quite prominently. It’s a great ride. The Alberta Falls tube slides are fun. Staff was again helpful.I give 4/5 since some stuff is crazy overpriced. $17ish for a burger basket and $4 for a fountain soda with no refill. A full cheese pizza for $20 is ok, but $5 Little Cesar’s is better. The arcade “points” makes it hard to realize it is $3-5 per play. I normally would spend $20-40 at an arcade with my kids but that’s only 10-15 minutes here.

Vihar Dave: on your main hand. I was scrolling through the menu and apparently got charged but I was able to explain them and they didn't give me any hassle. One more thing the family restrooms at the water park are not very clean as they were not maintained on the day we went. But overall a great experience and my kiddo loved it!Rooms: Clean nice roomsFood & drinks: Great food options for dinner and lunch, although not a great option for breakfast, especially if you don't eat red meat or pork. Considering the price for breakfast I would have hoped for lot more options especially for veg people.

Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Minneapolis: what do users think?

David De La Torre: I stayed at this hotel for four days during a conference. This hotel is very close to the conference center, made it very convenient to go back and forth. The service at the hotel and the restaurant was top notch. They upgraded me to a larger room which was like an apartment with 2 baths, an office, lounge master bedroom and huge bathroom. No complaints whatsoever!Nearby activities: Next to convention center and short walking distance to Nicollete Mall and other downtown locations.Walkability: Connected via skywalk to the convention center and short walking distance to everything in downtown.

Chance Sparks: 5-stars for an imperfect stay, because a nice hotel has to be judged by how they respond. We had a major plumbing issue well out of their control involving some kind of broke line. Maintenance was there within 5 minutes, and they had us moved to a new room with keys and a luggage cart within another 5 minutes, along with some credits. That is a level of quality response you just don’t see often, and they should be commended!

Mitchell Greene: Rooms: Newly renovated, Luxury guest rooms and suites. Very comfortable. Spacious.Nearby activities: Minneapolis Convention Center, Minnesota Orchestra, Nicollet Mall, Dakota Jazz Club, Target Center, Target Field, US Bank Stadium, the Armory, the Orpheum Theatre, the State Theatre, the Pantages TheatreSafety: Secure building. Key card required for skyway entry and elevators.Walkability: Located in downtown Minneapolis. Walking distance to the Minneapolis Convention Center, Orchestra Hall, Nicollet Mall, and many restaurants.Food & drinks: Great restaurants. I really enjoyed Breva, Masa & Agave, and the Lobby Bar.Noteworthy details: Fantastic spa and fitness center on site.

Lisa Carmichael: . Player piano was a nice touch. Staff was helpful walking through. Valet service was friendly. Love Minnesota!

renee kessel: Spaces in front of the building are reserved for valet or hotel check in . There is metered parking available steps away from the hotel entrance as well as nearby parking ramps. Jack, Parker and Ryan in valet are courteous, professional and charming. Emily at the front desk is knowledgeable and friendly. Overall great service.Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …

K Conrad: Rooms: Very nice!Walkability: Convention CenterFood & drinks: Great food in the hotel bar

Elliot Park Hotel, Autograph Collection: what do users think?

pizzapieyum: Recently stayed for a work trip and it was an overall good experience!Staffs are very welcoming and helpful in general. Sophia was very professional, and other front desk staffs were friendly as well. But the valet staffs were really going above and beyond — they always greet you with big smiles, remember you, and help you with finding your uber, loading the bags, etc. I did not get their names but all of them were amazing. They seriously need a raise. The only downside was that the room was not the best for working. It does have a desk but not a desk chair, just more of a stool. The amenities were a bit basic and lacking in detail as well.

Joshua Clements: . Nice bathrooms.Nearby activities: About 0.5 miles from convention center. Right next to a brewery. Several restaurant choices within 10-15 minute walk. Most museums and other activities would be 15+ minutes walking, a bit far for most people. Good walkability in all directions.Safety: Door person at the entrance.Walkability: Complete sidewalk system in all distractions, comfortable pedestrian conditions.Food & drinks: A few nearby places, most are 10+ minutes walking.Noteworthy details: Pretty good hotel gym

Elliot Hartley: staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Check in and out was easy.Walkability: Easy walk of the skyway which gets you everywhere downtown.

Suhas Parimi: .If you have time, you should take the blue line to Minnehaha falls

Shireen Agah Yadollahpour: Excellent hotel. All the staff I interacted with were friendly, extremely helpful, and professional. Rooms were both very clean and tasteful in decor. It was a short walk to the convention center, which was very convenient. Highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again if I travel to the area. Thank you for a comfortable and relaxing stay!

Michelle Gabrielson: I went there to meet a friend The friend ever showed up. But the staff were very nice I would recommend them highly. And I never saw the room

Blake Wigdahl: THE best hotel experience. I travel a ton for work. Stayed here for an entire week for work. Rooms are comfortable and homey, staff across the board is AMAZING and the restaurant staff morning and night just make you feel excellent after a long work day. Blown away. I will stay here from here out even if I have a work project farther away in the region....worth the drive time etc. loved this place. Thank you all who make this a Great experience!!!Rooms: Wow perfect... comfortable and homeyFood & drinks: Fantastic. Waffles in the morning and anything on the menu in the evening!!!

Celisia Stanton: , and there was also a great balcony space for us to take bridal party photos outside! Highly recommend this hotel as a getting-ready space, ESPECIALLY for couples planning to get married at Mosaic!

sam masudi: Gallie greeted me with such amazing hospitality, she and her staff amplify the best energy and service I have seen within the hotel industry. We flew in from Australia where over 40 of our staff that work nationally for a US COMPANY based in MN, we have had nothing but the staff ensuring things are organised and always delivering what we need. Please make sure you stay at the Elliot park Hotel

Snisskit77: What an amazing stay. We were greeted by Galie who was as lovely as any person could be. She made us feel so welcomed. She is a fantastic ambassador for this hotel! We received a very nice surprise from the GM Sean and head chef Peter. Our room was just perfect. We had. Great stay and we’re blown away by the extraordinary kindness we received. 10/10 easy! Thank you Elliot Park!Rooms: Had a room with a soaking tub! Phenomenal!Walkability: Lots to do close by.

Linda Carr: Couple of bumps but nothing significant. Would not recommend if you have children because they don't have the complimentary breakfast. You also have to pay for parking. It is a valet service but, not conventional when you're on a budget. The shortcomings that I experienced are due to my lack of paying attention to detailed information before booking this hotel. Staff was great and location is great as well!

Buck Hill: what do users think?

Mariah Vessel: I wouldn’t hear with my friend a couple weeks ago and it was a blast. We had a great time doing the sliding hill. It wasn’t too cold out so it was honestly a great experience. There was staff at the bottom and top of the slide to make sure everything goes smoothly. We did have an issue with our tickets but it did get resolved. Going there at night with my friend tubing let me get to feel like a kid again and it was very nice even if it was just an hour.

Marv: . I got caught in this weird place where I was leveled up above the greens and not interested in terrain parks/ jumps and really relegated to a few runs which would randomly be occupied. I don't want to condemn Buck for this I just want others to be aware of this and once you outgrow Buck the desire to return drops significantly and I start finding Afton/ Welch ALOT more appealing. For people intermediate and above, Buck is great to scratch that itch on a random Wednesday night when you can't/ don't want to drive down to Afton or Welch but outside of that

Tsai-Ling Chen: There is the snow boarding experience about the it's was not cheap and of course they're having a lot of fun but it was kinda of expensive.

Ethan Roesner: Good moguls

Emery, Autograph Collection: what do users think?

toni snickers: Excellent foodFood & drinks: Excellent food and beverage

Deb Piekutowski: The Emery Autograph hotel is beautiful 🖤The parking was easy, the check in was easy, was offered a craft beer because it was Happy Hour.Bottled water was also available.Staff was so kind and knowledgeable.Rooms were very clean.I stay in hotels 7 months out of the year. This hotel was clean.Very knowledge staff in all areas.Breakfast and coffee bar was perfect.Well done Emery!!Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds, big showers, quietNearby activities: Very close to many different activities... walking distance.Safety: Very safe!Needed a room key to go in elevator, rooms were safeWalkability: Downtown Minneapolis a lot to do in walking distance 😊Food & drinks: Bar was fun and bartenders were knowledgeable on any drink. No specials though 😞

Omar Weathersby: Had a very nice stay the Emery. Great experience with staff all the time. Super friendly, helpful, and appreciative not just to me, but any time they were helping someone. The lobby is outstanding. Great vibe for any occasion, group outing or date night. Very cool bank vault wall and fireplace.. full size pool table... excellent. The one thing was not as unique as expected for a signature property was the room. It was rather average. So a good night's rest, but not the "whole experience"For the service, location and lobby I'd stay again. But looking for the full signature experience, not so much, but can't stress enough, everyone was great!Rooms: The room i was in was rather plain for a signature hotel. When I select a signature property, I always look forward to unique room, and this was not. Comfy, but nothing out of the ordinaryNearby activities: Great sports bar Toms WatchWalkability: Great location easy to get to everything the are has to offerNoteworthy details: Lobby is phenomenal. Whether you need a quiet place to work, relax by fireplace, drink and socialize... great place

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel: what do users think?

Maria Davy: Beautiful hotel. What made it for me, though, was that the staff is just...beyond. We had such a great time hosting a bachelorette with OMNI as base camp. The King Suite was perfect - spacious, comfortable, clean, beautiful view. Restaurants on site are helpful since it's tucked away out in Eagan. Plenty of parking available. Would feel very comfortable hosting another event here in the future.Walkability: It's on its own property so not much nearby to walk to in the immediate vicinity

Rob Brown: Two items make these rooms above average when compared to other comparable lodging options. They are: 1. The HVAC room system and controls work well. Temp is readily adjustable and accurate; 2. The shower temp is immediately hot. Both are very important to me. Service is typical for a higher end hotel. Location is a bit of a challenge to get to compared to other comparable hotels.Nearby activities: The Vikings museum is next door as well as their practice facility.Walkability: There is a walking path nearby, but all destinations are a drive less the activities at the MN Vikings' facility.

Jeremy Lizakowski: Great hotel with quiet rooms. Our only complaint is the long windy walk to and from the parking lot, but they do have valet service.Rooms: Spacious and quietFood & drinks: Top notch food and drinks

Darren James Wright Sr.: , all ahead of any hotel I've been to except 1. They offer valet parking by the way, which most hotels outside of a downtown area don’t offer. The room itself was pleasant, only knock i have is the bed was a little too firm for my wife’s taste. The built in restaurants and lounges made it so i never left the hotel. Didn’t need to. The main restaurant on level 1 was good. Great drinks, and i personally had a wood fire pizza. One look at the kitchen and you can tell it’s not a throw away product, they really care about their woodfire pizzas. I could add way more details, but they would really lengthen this review. All in all, i would stay again. Top 3 hotel for me for sure.

Mark Mehr: Nice new hotelRooms: Nice and cleanFood & drinks: We were there for the food and wine show.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Minneapolis Northeast: what do users think?

Greg Pettersen (RDAmidwest): 32 years ago we spent one night here before taking a honeymoon road trip through Toronto, for a night in the "Skydome", enroute to Niagara Falls for the quintessential American honeymoon. It's fun to have this location so close to home for an occasional nostalgic night.Plus, their 400 Tavern bar & grille has great food, beverages, a brick pizza oven you can watch, and a nice sized patio. Good on site parking, HC Access, and prices that are manageable but high enough to scare away the riff-raff, so to speak.

P “Norm De Plume” Greensward: We stopped going to hotels near the university because of the hefty parking premium. The Delta is only a few minutes distant from the university and Dinky town if you're visiting a student there, and the Delta is a much more comfortable hotel.Delta is our go-to hotel in Minneapolis.

TCWEP Network: with an even larger ballroom perfectly set and ready for receptions, not to mention the glorious guest rooms available for over night stays. We were in love with the hotel and highly recommend it as a wedding venue. We had another recent event at Delta Hotels By Marriott and just had to add to our past review how much we love this space. It truly is incredible space to host an event.  The food was over the top delicious and the staff was wonderfully attentive and great at every detail.   Highly recommend it for any special events, weddings, or corporate events.  Beautiful spaces, great location in the Twin Cities, and the ease of on-site parking available make it a great choice for your next event.Photocredit: JessicaKnightonPhotography & HeatherHansonPhotography

Patti Lee: Service was fantastic! Found a old sack of food in fridge, took it down to front desk and they offered another room. No switch, just need to remind cleaners to remember to check fridge. Then later, toilet tank had no water, they. Send Maintenance up right away and fixed it. Even with this, plan on going back. Pool is amazingly huge. And restaurant was amazing service. Was bummed that Starbuck's was closed on Sun. Morning.

Moxy Minneapolis Uptown: what do users think?

Rick Jonsson: Moxy Minneapolis Uptown is located about a 30-minute drive from the airport, MSP. Situated in the up and coming part of Minneapolis and next door to restaurants and gastropubs, all within a block or two. The hotel looks like Moxy does, and the ground floor is all about social activities and work, with the bar as a centrepiece. In the basement is the gym, small but with treadmills, crosstrainer, and a bike as well as dumbbells and a punching bag. The rooms are nice and well-planned, if you want something special, try the junior suites, they are fabulous! The main drawback is that there is no food, which is okay for lunch and dinner, but an inconvenience for breakfast as there is nothing close early in the morning. Otherwise, it's an excellent choice

Meghan Resch: Overall the hotel was great. Good location, comfortable, clean. Only issues I had with it was there's no fan in the bathroom, the shower sprayer was broken which meant only getting water from the above waterfall nozzle. And the lobby smelled SO strongly of cologne the 3 days and nights we were there, so strong it could be smelled before you even walked into the building. We were given drink tickets for the bar when we arrived that we never used because the smell gave me a migraine so we basically held our breath when we walked in until we got into the elevator. Besides that it was a good hotel and stay

Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis: what do users think?

Sarah T: My stay was for a staycation and it was perfect! The hotel is very clean and has a calm and welcoming feeling when you first enter. The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful to interact with! The room was very spacious and clean, had normal outlets and USB plug ins by the bed which was great along with many other outlets throughout the room in convenient spots which i find very helpful. The room service was quick and convenient. There are a lot of great amenities which is awesome. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel whether it be for a staycation, vacation, for a business trip, or whatever it may be you need a hotel for!

Tom Anderson: I remember it being Grand Hotel and haven't stayed since the switch over to Hyatt. Very good location..nice big room, nice staff. I was lazy on a Monday morning and ordered room service. It was good but think of a Dennys breakfast being served in paper takeout. Coffee wasn't the best and $4 for a cup not worth it. I would stay again but not order room service. I do miss The Grand. They had a great service when you could just order coffee to be delivered to your room the next morning.

Pam Daiker: after the Vikings game and enjoyed a cocktail watching the ball drop in the hotel bar. It was nice to be able to sit down, meet some new friends without a cover charge or standing all night AND be able to run up to our room if needed, grab a drink from the bar, grab a piece of pizza from your new friends or play some Jenga by the fireplace! They had a breakfast buffet on New Years Day, $17 with salmon eggs benedict and many other things. My fiance enjoyed that very much however I went with the classic breakfast off the menu for $10 which is eggs, hashbrowns and your choice of meat. Very good experience.Safety: I felt very safe there. Even after hours.

Moises Vega: I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was big and clean and one thing that I liked the most was that there are motion activated lights on the bottom of the bed for when you get up ij the middle of the night and see where you are walking. The service was fast and amazing, we ordered a margarita pizza and it was delicious. The valet workers were so nice and they made sure to take good care of the cars. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I will definitely come back for another night.

Melissa Hosten: I was at a conference here. This has great rooms and flexibility for such a large conference! The food was excellent and the staff was super helpful.Nearby activities: This is close to the stadium, great food, Prince murals, First Avenue music venue, and the Sculpture GardenWalkability: Very easy to walk around and get wherever you want yo go.

Chad Nabity: Nice stay. Room was clean and nicely appointed. Did not get coffee in the room one day.Nearby activities: Convention CenterWalkability: Very walkable

Stephanie Heidinger: Stayed here for an Expo at the convention center. Getting from parking ramp to hotel desk was CONFUSING; getting to Convention Center from lobby is even worse! Skyway isn't really user-friendly & is a bit of a maze. After that said, the hotel itself is really nice & upscale. Called and asked if an early check-in was available & they accommodated.Downtown Mpls has tons of restaurants and bars to choose from if you decide not to use the ones in the hotel. It's time to put my feet up and enjoy the stay.

Lindsay Dee: I had a very negative experience with a third party website booking and this hotel. They went above and beyond for me to rectify the situation and were professional, apologetic and informative through the entire process. The assistant manager Julius is beyond amazing. 10/10 service.

Farzan Farnaghi: One of my go to hotels in downtown Minneapolis. Convenient location near river and attractions, with a Trader Joe’s/starbucks just outside to pick up snacks and groceries. Lobby and room design is lovely . Parking is as convenient as it gets, making the check in process smooth and easy. Both times I stayed they allowed me early check in without additional cost. Love this place!

Erica M: Continuing our love affair with the Moxy brand. Good amenities - outdoor pool, second floor gym, lobby bar — and situated conveniently across the street from Trader Joe’s, restaurants and nightlife. Room was clean, modern, minimalist. Slightly larger than the usual Moxy room. Next time, we’ll actually “train like a loon” as planned.
