Alex Rudie: Stopped in for a late lunch on a rainy day and was able to order off the dinner menu a little early. We got the lobster poutine as a an appetizer, and it came out super hot and fresh. The cheese melted on top was so gooey and delicious. I ordered the stuffed salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and flakey, and the lobster stuffing was yummy. The wild rice was a tad sweet but still yummy.

Angela Bilyeu: U Garden has the best food. Amazing flavor served hot very generous portion sizes. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. My husband had surgery and our waitress made him feel better with a big hot bowl of wonton soup. Shaun Cooper: Great restaurant/brewery in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Parking can be a little difficult to come by, but usually you can find a meter on Washington Ave. Food is fast and delicious, as well as the beer and cocktails. We like the breakfast options and usually have a hard time deciding since there are so many good choices. It was busy on the Sunday morning that we were there so the wait staff took a little longer than was expected.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsKid-friendliness: Definitely a place you can bring the kids to.

Good idea to visit both this location and Parlour in the basement if you are making a trip to the cities for either restaurant.Parking: Parking was very easy for us on a Tuesday as a spot was open in the paid parking lot 20 feet from door, on a weekend it may be tougher as this area has more limited parking and is very busy on weekends. Likely valet would be the way to go on the weekend and visit both Borough and Parlour to get full value!

It was surprisingly very busy for a weekday night, so it was a good thing that we had reservations.We all got drinks, and I went with the sangria - it was perfectly made! We also started with meatballs and brussel sprouts to share, which were fine.For my meal, I ordered the lasagna, which is my #1 favorite food, so I wanted to see how Zelo did with theirs. It was very good. I loved that they used ricotta, had plenty of cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce on top. The overall taste was fantastic! My only complaint was that the bottom layer was crispy/crunchy and overdone. If it had been properly cooked, I'd put it up there with the best. The small portion was good enough for me for one meal.Everyone on my team enjoyed their meals - they all had pork chops, pizza, chicken parm, ravioli, etc.We ended with desserts to share, and I will say I was not really impressed, they were just okay. I would just recommend sticking with the meals as that is where they excelled.I would definitely recommend Zelo if you are in the area for an enjoyable Italian dinner.

The manager himself stopped by to make sure they had the list of allergies correct before they placed the order. It was one of the best salads I've ever had! Not a lover of Swiss and Mushroom Burgers but this may just have converted me.Glen was an excellent waiter, spot on with recommendations and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. The food was the best I have had in a while. I ordered larb, spring rolls, and ginseng coffee. I love spicy food, and the larb was truly spicy and full of flavor! I will return here for sure! If you are in the area, it is a must try. This is my favorite restaurant in MN.

The Thai Garden made our dining experience feel normal and the food was exceptional! The ingredients were very fresh! Heather Kaiser: This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.

We ordered it medium and it may have been ever so slightly cooked a little under medium. Seasoning was perfect and had a nice, tart flavor coming through with the sauerkraut.🍠 🌟 WOW! 🤩 The sweet potatoes were the star of the evening! Sweet, savory, bright and fresh with lemon, crispy skins… just wow! Order the sweet potatoes!!🍰 For dessert, we ordered the chocolate panna cotta and olive oil cake. Jonathan Robinson: Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.

Leila Croy: I hate to even share this, because I don't want them to get even busier than they currently are. BEST BURGERS EVER! I mean hands down delicious and juicy. C D: and they were absolutely superlative, and so was the rice they were served with. Gardens of Salonica has the best vegan dishes I’ve tried anywhere in the Twin Cities. Walter D.: Food: Both our stakes were cooked to perfection, the bread plate is something to look forward to and the recommended wine was perfectly matched to our entrees.Service: The service it self will make you want to come back, the minute you walk in you are being greeted and complimented. Every person that we spoke to wished us a happy anniversary, they even had heart confetti spread out on our table

Jackie Kramer: We both just retired so went to the Capital grille for a celebratory dinner and it did not disappoint!!! Angel was our server and he was outstanding! Our food was prepared perfectly and they gave us a lovely cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake with fruit since we were first time customers. Don’t waste your time going elsewhere- this is our new favorite special restaurant. Thank you Angel!!! You made our night even more special!
