Gaojoua Ly Ka So: The restaurant looks smaller inside than it does outside. But nice to see the open kitchen and how quickly the food comes out. Simple wine bar and canned drinks. The pasta noodles are definitely hand made and so luscious. I got the clams with fettuccine and it was refreshing. Also shared the calamari which was fried to perfection, and I loved the sauce that came with it. Their carrot cake was one of the best I’ve ever had. The candied walnuts and cream cheese frosting was so delectable. Service was great and very attentive. I’m going to have to go back and try something else.

Andrea Kiepe: This is more of an Italian-American place, so I would not recommend pasta here unless you want to have essentially an upscale version of Olive Garden. But many people are happy with that and the rooftop deck is gorgeous. I had a great cheeseburger and glass of wine and enjoyed myself. Service is friendly and helpful.

Megan D: I was visiting the area, and we came to Zelo for a team dinner. It was surprisingly very busy for a weekday night, so it was a good thing that we had reservations.We all got drinks, and I went with the sangria - it was perfectly made! We also started with meatballs and brussel sprouts to share, which were fine.For my meal, I ordered the lasagna, which is my #1 favorite food, so I wanted to see how Zelo did with theirs. It was very good. I loved that they used ricotta, had plenty of cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce on top. The overall taste was fantastic! My only complaint was that the bottom layer was crispy/crunchy and overdone. If it had been properly cooked, I'd put it up there with the best. The small portion was good enough for me for one meal.Everyone on my team enjoyed their meals - they all had pork chops, pizza, chicken parm, ravioli, etc.We ended with desserts to share, and I will say I was not really impressed, they were just okay. I would just recommend sticking with the meals as that is where they excelled.I would definitely recommend Zelo if you are in the area for an enjoyable Italian dinner.

Incredible selection of wine both by the glass and the bottle. Comfortable seating/ very classy and upscale! Our entrees were beautifully plated and perfectly cooked. The house made gelato was a perfect finish. Thank you to all the amazing staff that made our experience memorable.

Isabelle Clough: My family and I dined at Monello during our first visit to Minneapolis and it was the best restaurant we visited in the Twin Cities. The wine pairing menu was excellent and I loved every dish I tried. We were so sorry to hear they were closing and made sure to make one last visit—which was just as amazing as the first time, despite having a more limited menu. Our server, Brittney, provided fantastic service and definitely added to the welcoming atmosphere!
Susan Smith: A bittersweet evening, knowing this is the last of our many meals at Monello. The rabbit torchio was sublime. Our server, Brittany, was both professional and fun. The Manhattan is the best in town. We wish all the staff good luck and hope to see you again somewhere-

Ratolo is not something I would order again, however. So, there's a room on whether you would like the food. Among my group of 10 people who visited, we had mixed reviews on whether we like a dish or not. Regardless, you won't regret it. Plus the service is pretty warming and helpful as well. Worth the experience.Vegetarian options: Need to ask the server to highlight the vegetarian dishes, but there were enough of them to choose from.

Rachel Burns: , but Roger's fun fact made it interesting to eat while thinking of it's history!This food I mention just because that was my own experience, but it was definitely 100% my fault I didn't say anything about the food at the time and I know the staff would have taken care of me! Everyone else's food looked amazing so I'll just have to try something different next time!At the end of my meal I realized I ate almost all the pine nuts out of my pasta, so I asked Roger if he could get me some more when he boxed up my food, and he was so accommodating! Callie Reynolds: Great Pizza. I ordered the Cheeseburger Pizza and the Reuben pizza and they were absolutely delicious. Only complaint was that I waited at the front for 4 minutes for my pick up order and was never acknowledged by the employee standing at a table talking. Luckily another nice waitress noticed me waiting forever and brought me my food. Looked like they were doing renovations. Food was good service was lacking.

Tony Gao: Absolutely amazing. Start with the focaccia and the mussels. The honey chevre with the focaccia is so so good. The mussels were in the most delightful broth with gigante beans and chunks of ham. Sop up all the broth with their wonderful toasted sourdough. Get the Apollonia pizza, super crispy crust and the creamiest burrata. The bucatini al amatriciana was wonderful - pasta cooked perfectly and married to the most deliciously spicy sauce. Finish off with their doughscuit bread pudding with semifreddo and a flourless chocolate cake. Superb service, all around a fantastic experience. 100% recommend.
M. S.: . Healthier options are limited - most of the veggie sides come with bacon and/or cheese and there were no fresh fruit options on the brunch menu. The bar is well-stocked and the bartender was very happy to accommodate individualized requests.

Christine Hubert: Such a great experience! I made reservations for my husband’s birthday on a Friday night. They sat us immediately and told us they saved us a booth. Then they made us a complimentary birthday drink. The food was delicious and drinks were good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will put this on our “restaurants list” for future fine dining options!

Steve Nieckarz: After living on the east coast and experiencing the best pizza in the country, nothing compares, except Jakeeno's. They make the best pizza pies in the TwinCities. The ingredients, flavors, and crust are marvelous! If you are a pizza snob like myself, look no further. The Mushroom Florentine, Cheese Slice, and today, the Gyro Slice. All delicious!
