Gaojoua Ly Ka So: The restaurant looks smaller inside than it does outside. But nice to see the open kitchen and how quickly the food comes out. Simple wine bar and canned drinks. The pasta noodles are definitely hand made and so luscious. I got the clams with fettuccine and it was refreshing. Also shared the calamari which was fried to perfection, and I loved the sauce that came with it. Their carrot cake was one of the best I’ve ever had. The candied walnuts and cream cheese frosting was so delectable. Service was great and very attentive. I’m going to have to go back and try something else.

Stopped by for a late lunch on my husband's recommendation.Had the PASTA SUGO BETTI with Meatballs and their house-made fresh fettuccine pasta. It was so good!Reminded me of being in my Italian neighbor's kitchen with a large bowl of fresh pasta, drenched in slow-cooked tomato sauce, and piled high with meat and shredded parm!Those memories taste amazing!Thank you Broders!Only caveat - first time ever eating an Italian meal and not being offered bread with it.

Ron Sarat: I would recommend that you try Prima. It's a quaint, personable restaurant specializing in Italian food. And that they do. The food is very good and everything is was enjoyable. I had pomodor with meatballs and it was wonderful. The portions are huge and the prices are very fair. You will get your money's worth and more.Service is very attentive. Everyone there is out to please. And how many restaurants do you go to where you can talk to the owner.If it's been awhile since you've been to Prima I say go again. You will love it.

Prima is our favorite for: fresh seasonal food they grow at their own farm, long-standing servers who remember you each time, always seems to squeeze us in, curbside pickup.Parking: Parking lot is out back with a back entrance by Subway.

Shruti Agarwal: Really nice ambience and good food to hangout and have laid-back lunch/dinner. The menu does contain significant vegetarian selections, among which Aracini was something I found best. Ratolo is not something I would order again, however. So, there's a room on whether you would like the food. Among my group of 10 people who visited, we had mixed reviews on whether we like a dish or not. Regardless, you won't regret it. Plus the service is pretty warming and helpful as well. Worth the experience.Vegetarian options: Need to ask the server to highlight the vegetarian dishes, but there were enough of them to choose from.

Had we not had reservations we likely would have left before then. After we were helped we had to wait another 10-15 for our table to be ready. That being said, the staff were all busy with customers while we were waiting. Once we were seated the service was great. I had the Penne All'Arrabbiata and asked them to add sausage and it was delicious. They are a beer and wine only restaurant. We enjoyed two of their house-made pasta dishes that they split onto 2 plates for each of us, as we wanted to share. I see a few reviews concerned about the serving size, but both my husband and I found it to be more than enough!! We were perfectly full, not stuffed. Topped off the meal with some dessert which was also great! Very highly recommend this place if you want yummy Italian food.

Isabelle Clough: My family and I dined at Monello during our first visit to Minneapolis and it was the best restaurant we visited in the Twin Cities. The wine pairing menu was excellent and I loved every dish I tried. We were so sorry to hear they were closing and made sure to make one last visit—which was just as amazing as the first time, despite having a more limited menu. Our server, Brittney, provided fantastic service and definitely added to the welcoming atmosphere!

Andrea Kiepe: This is more of an Italian-American place, so I would not recommend pasta here unless you want to have essentially an upscale version of Olive Garden. Megan D: I was visiting the area, and we came to Zelo for a team dinner. It was surprisingly very busy for a weekday night, so it was a good thing that we had reservations.We all got drinks, and I went with the sangria - it was perfectly made! We also started with meatballs and brussel sprouts to share, which were fine.For my meal, I ordered the lasagna, which is my #1 favorite food, so I wanted to see how Zelo did with theirs. It was very good. I loved that they used ricotta, had plenty of cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce on top. The overall taste was fantastic! My only complaint was that the bottom layer was crispy/crunchy and overdone. If it had been properly cooked, I'd put it up there with the best. The small portion was good enough for me for one meal.Everyone on my team enjoyed their meals - they all had pork chops, pizza, chicken parm, ravioli, etc.We ended with desserts to share, and I will say I was not really impressed, they were just okay. I would just recommend sticking with the meals as that is where they excelled.I would definitely recommend Zelo if you are in the area for an enjoyable Italian dinner.

Mark T: I don't know if they still have daily specials, but on Thursdays, they made Porketta Romano. It comes on pasta, but ask for it on mashed potatoes with a side of vegetables with red sauce slathered all over it. abraham henry: The food here reminds me of grandmas cooking: homemade and fresh. The prices are not too bad. If you like saving a few bucks there is a late afternoon discounted menu. If you like pasta dishes, lasagna, ziti, spaghetti etc you should try this out.

Rachel Burns: , but Roger's fun fact made it interesting to eat while thinking of it's history!This food I mention just because that was my own experience, but it was definitely 100% my fault I didn't say anything about the food at the time and I know the staff would have taken care of me! Everyone else's food looked amazing so I'll just have to try something different next time!At the end of my meal I realized I ate almost all the pine nuts out of my pasta, so I asked Roger if he could get me some more when he boxed up my food, and he was so accommodating! I didn't feel like a burden at all and he really delivered! My wallet was also buried in my work bag at the end of the meal & he was so nice when I asked to use my GooglePay

Dusty Strahan: My husband and I had dinner, and our expectations were exceeded. The service from Jordan was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chef Emmanuel did an incredible job. Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back here in the near future.

Both times the restaurant was cold & while when I asked they turned up the heat it was still chilly. There was no music. A vintage Italian Playlist would have been fun. I will definitely go again but it could be.tightened up.

Bread did not seem fresh or flavorful. The seafood was chewy. And they were out of stock for many items. Including our first choice dessert, port wine, and our selected beer.On the plus side it's a local establishment in a great part of downtown Robbinsdale. Great patio.
