Isabelle Clough: My family and I dined at Monello during our first visit to Minneapolis and it was the best restaurant we visited in the Twin Cities. The wine pairing menu was excellent and I loved every dish I tried. We were so sorry to hear they were closing and made sure to make one last visit—which was just as amazing as the first time, despite having a more limited menu. Our server, Brittney, provided fantastic service and definitely added to the welcoming atmosphere!
Susan Smith: A bittersweet evening, knowing this is the last of our many meals at Monello. The rabbit torchio was sublime. Our server, Brittany, was both professional and fun. The Manhattan is the best in town. We wish all the staff good luck and hope to see you again somewhere-

Gaojoua Ly Ka So: The restaurant looks smaller inside than it does outside. But nice to see the open kitchen and how quickly the food comes out. Simple wine bar and canned drinks. The pasta noodles are definitely hand made and so luscious. I got the clams with fettuccine and it was refreshing. Also shared the calamari which was fried to perfection, and I loved the sauce that came with it. Their carrot cake was one of the best I’ve ever had. The candied walnuts and cream cheese frosting was so delectable. Service was great and very attentive. I’m going to have to go back and try something else.

Megan D: I was visiting the area, and we came to Zelo for a team dinner. It was surprisingly very busy for a weekday night, so it was a good thing that we had reservations.We all got drinks, and I went with the sangria - it was perfectly made! We also started with meatballs and brussel sprouts to share, which were fine.For my meal, I ordered the lasagna, which is my #1 favorite food, so I wanted to see how Zelo did with theirs. It was very good. I loved that they used ricotta, had plenty of cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce on top. The overall taste was fantastic! My only complaint was that the bottom layer was crispy/crunchy and overdone. If it had been properly cooked, I'd put it up there with the best. The small portion was good enough for me for one meal.Everyone on my team enjoyed their meals - they all had pork chops, pizza, chicken parm, ravioli, etc.We ended with desserts to share, and I will say I was not really impressed, they were just okay. I would just recommend sticking with the meals as that is where they excelled.I would definitely recommend Zelo if you are in the area for an enjoyable Italian dinner.

Kristi Gast: Love this place. Pizza crust is light and crisp. Flavors on everything I've had are delicious. We stopped a little after the Twins game started at 1:30. Not very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Service was great. We had beer, garlic cheese bread, a half hulapeno and half classic pizza. The hulapeno is one of my favorites. Spicy and sweet. Garlic cheese bread comes in about 8 small sticks with sauce. It was very cheesy! Really great place to stop. Music in the background and plants in the windows.

Tony Gao: Absolutely amazing. Start with the focaccia and the mussels. The honey chevre with the focaccia is so so good. The mussels were in the most delightful broth with gigante beans and chunks of ham. Sop up all the broth with their wonderful toasted sourdough. Get the Apollonia pizza, super crispy crust and the creamiest burrata. The bucatini al amatriciana was wonderful - pasta cooked perfectly and married to the most deliciously spicy sauce. Finish off with their doughscuit bread pudding with semifreddo and a flourless chocolate cake. Superb service, all around a fantastic experience. 100% recommend.

Andrea Kiepe: This is more of an Italian-American place, so I would not recommend pasta here unless you want to have essentially an upscale version of Olive Garden. Only complaint was that I waited at the front for 4 minutes for my pick up order and was never acknowledged by the employee standing at a table talking. Luckily another nice waitress noticed me waiting forever and brought me my food. Looked like they were doing renovations. Food was good service was lacking.

I'm normally understanding of slow service but there wasn't any notice of staffing or slower service provided and the party next to us at the bar was tended to much faster than us.

Our group had a wonderful time. Quality is a 10/10, service is an 11/10, and cleanliness was perfect too! It is PRICEY and parking is slightly inconvenient. Mellanie Goldsmith: First time customer at Broders Cucina Italiana today. Stopped by for a late lunch on my husband's recommendation.Had the PASTA SUGO BETTI with Meatballs and their house-made fresh fettuccine pasta. It was so good!Reminded me of being in my Italian neighbor's kitchen with a large bowl of fresh pasta, drenched in slow-cooked tomato sauce, and piled high with meat and shredded parm!Those memories taste amazing!Thank you Broders!Only caveat - first time ever eating an Italian meal and not being offered bread with it.
Evelyn Staats: 4 stars keep in mind i got take out, i bet it’s significantly better super fresh. i got the fettuccini Alfredo it was good but not great great great not as good as olive garden in my humble opinion but really solid, the cesar salad was very tasty. i had a good experience
