The building and the staff are very dog-friendly - they keep dog treats regularly available in the lobby. My staff interactions - Linsey and Papa - have always been positive. They are friendly and always able to help with what I'm needing. Great walking distance to the bus, trains, and a couple restaurant/bars - I prefer Corner Bar to the other place.

From the caretakers always making sure the building looks and smells great, Maintenace fixing any issue quickly and accurately, to the office management who are always friendly and super helpful. If I was not relocating I would absolutely stay! Not only is it a great area to live, there is lots of free parking, the building is quiet, and there are tons of great places to walk your dog. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a stress free, fun, and quality home.

The Foundry neighborhood is vibrant, multicultural, and has close proximity to some of the best eateries and coffee houses in the metro area. And, Lake Bde Maka Ska is only a few steps away! But, for me, what really elevates the Foundry's brand is the stellar Management Team! Molly, Cat, and Will go Above and Beyond to maintain the property

Xiaohan Ma: Been living here for 2 years now, and I think it’s a pretty nice building with good management. The rent price is pretty fair for what I’m getting. I moved here mid 2022 as this was the best place I found within my budget. Mid 2023, I did my research again before renewing my lease, and still couldn’t find anywhere better with the same rent. To me the building doesn’t look most top-tier amongst luxury apartments from the outside, but the inside is no disappointment. The building is relatively new and so are the appliances. Management is very friendly and very responsive. The building is well maintained and safely guarded.

Cat P: This is a community not an apartment complex. Im so happy to call the Foundry my home. I love the staff. Molly, Cat and Will do a great job and keep and keep an open line of communication. The building is well built and maintained. The residents are so friendly! I love living at the Foundry.

Rena Eschenburg: I have lived here with my fiancé for over a year and a half now. We both love it here! It's in a perfect location right between uptown and St Louis Park, the building is new and gorgeous, and management is great! Maintenance requests are completed very quickly, management is responsive, and there are occasional fun events for residents. The only downside is that we have had a bike stolen and someone stole $600 worth of items from our car. Although it's a locked garage, people still manage to get in. Management was good, however, about reaching out to corporate and getting a security guard to watch the garages at night.

Nick M: I have been living at Foundry for about a year now and I'm happy with my choice.Val, Cat and John are very responsive and have created a very nice community vibe. Apartment appliances are modern, plus I love having a balcony. The pool on the third floor is amazing and sunny all day, which isn't the case in many apartment complex in the North Loop.Lastly, you can't beat the location, next to Whole Food-Punch Pizza-Chipotle and only a few blocks from three lakes.

Jeremy and Victor do a great job on maintenance requests and keeping things running around the building. I will miss them!

Judi Blomberg: I moved to the Vue in December 2023 and I have so enjoyed living in my new home. Even though I am retired, I wanted a building with multiple age groups. I also wanted to downsize after selling my home. I knew I wanted to live at the Vue as soon as I walked into the lobby and met the managers who were so welcoming! I loved the common spaces on the first and sixth floor that felt so Nordic to me, the style I prefer. The sixth floor has a great view and I look forward to enjoying a glass of wine on the outdoor patio during the summer. My apartment has just the space I need, a large kitchen with slide out shelves, a balcony with views in all directions and a generously sized walk in closet. Generally it's a quiet building which I appreciate. Loring Park is just a block away and has a community center with frequent free activities sponsored by the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board. Walks in the Park and Sculpture Garden are an added plus to living at the Vue. I'm close to museums, sport venues, restaurants and so much more. I am loving the life in downtown Minneapolis and at the Vue!

My neighbors have been nice, quiet and courteous. The halls and entrances are always clean and secure. Highland Park Village is fun, convenient and loaded with stores, shopping and restaurants. There's a Target, UPS, Lund's, CVS, Walgreen's, Highland Theater, and St Paul Library all within a block or two. East River Road is within 5 blocks, as is Light Rail and the main bus lines. I love my apartment and would recommend The Finn to anyone seeking a beautiful apartment in this area.

Living here has been amazing, and we're going to miss it a ton when we close on our house. I'd recommend Borealis to anyone.

Mark Chavez: I'm a current residence for nearly a year. I have truly enjoyed living at Borealis. The location is wonderful. There is a great coffee shop, a nice wine store and even a comedy club across the street! The common areas are very cozy, the apartments are modern, the gym is great and it's always very quiet in the evenings. I wish we had reserved parking spots, but I usually don't have a problem finding a parking in the garage. Overall, a great place to live.

The responsiveness of the managers and staff has been terrific, the building is maintained beautifully, and we love our apartment; we keep remarking on the quality of its design—the proportions and the ease of moving through the rooms. The building is quiet, the other tenants collegial and the view of the Minneapolis skyline beyond our cool North Loop neighborhood, is thrilling. Erik Montag: I’ve lived here are Borealis for a year now and have nothing but great things to say! The common areas, such as the rooftop, sky lounge, and gym, are gorgeous and always clean! The management team and maintenance people are kind and attentive and I always had my needs addressed within hours of submitting a question or request. The apartment itself uses space quite efficiently and lets in tons of natural light, which helped a lot during the Minnesota winter! Finally, the location is amazing with a plethora of bars, restaurants, and parks just a couple blocks away!

I haven't had an issue with excess noise; and I believe it's due to the quality of the construction.My only complaint is you aren't free to hang things up with screws without their maintenance people. I understand why they have it from their side, but it would be nice if we were able to do it ourselves.

Reid Bolton: I’ve lived at Borealis for about a year and a half, and have enjoyed my experience very much. The location is perfect! Close to the Mississippi River, coffee shops, breweries, multiple restaurants, etc. It’s surrounded by so much, but tucked away so even on the weekends it doesn’t get to noisy. Alex, and the rest of the staff have been nothing but attentive to any needs I may have had. Property is kept up, and tenants are courteous. The roof top view is spectacular! It’s been honestly one of the best apartments I’ve lived in! If I was not relocating for job purposes, I would still be calling Borealis home.

Ted Park: I’m usually not the person to leave a review but after staying here for 14 month, I had to acknowledge the great maintenance team at the Metro Apartment. Robert was genuine, helpful, and approachable as a building manager throughout my stay. The maintenance team are responsive and answer to any concerns or problems related to the unit promptly. They make sure the problem is resolved and never rush things through. Was a pleasure to stay in Metro as a tenant.

Robert Bischel: As of today, I signed on for another year at metro apartments. This is the best apartment and management that Ive ever had, and my studio is a great size and has everything I need. Robert is friendly, personable and prompt. Maintenance is quick, respectful and detailed. The location is what sold me with metro, everything I need is within walking distance. I plan on staying here until I finish graduate school. I highly recommend this complex!!

Samantha Gillis: My husband and I lived here for 3 years and absolutely loved it! The location was great for walking to both of our jobs downtown and the units were clean, modern and comfortable. There's easy access to restaurants, the Nicollet Mall Target and the highway at a reasonable rent. But this complex is distinguished by its amazing staff! Robert and Mo and everyone else were great, consistently reliable, and helpful if anything happened. For example our microwave stopped working after living there for about 2 years, and Mo had it replaced within a day! We moved out of state but can't recommend these apartments enough to anyone looking in the Minneapolis downtown area.

Shrey Pareek: We stayed at Metro for around 8 months. The apartments are amazing and very fancy for the price. Floor-plans are nice and very spacious. The management and staff are super helpful and nice. Robert and Zach were really helpful throughout our stay. They even volunteered to take care of our kitties once. They deliver packages to your apartment door and that is a blessing. The building is super safe. I would 100 percent recommend Metro to anyone and everyone.

Jim Dwyer: I lived here for two months for a corporate relocation. First thing I was worried about was noise. I’m a country boy so the downtown area had me worried. Turned out this building is amazingly quiet. If I walked out onto my balcony I could hear the sounds of downtown but with the windows closed I heard nothing. The apartments are very quiet as well. I never heard my neighbors. The one bedroom was quite spacious for a downtown apartment. The staff were very friendly and were very quick to help me with anything I needed. The skyway made it very convenient to get to target or anywhere else I wanted to go to. The train to the airport is five blocks away. All in all I enjoyed my time and would recommend anyone looking for an affordable nice place in downtown to rent here

Andy: I have lived here with my wife for over a year. Really great value, experience, location, and staff. If you work downtown and want a stress-free apartment it’s the best place you can ask for. I’ve had many types of managements over the years and the Metro’s is without a doubt the best. They are seriously caring and responsive. The fact that there is a large parking ramp beneath the apartments really easily opens up opportunities for friends and family to visit which is much harder to coordinate in any other apartment complex anywhere close to downtown. Best apartment downtown.

I don't believe Metro is run by some huge corporation and that really made it feel more family run. As a resident, I didn't feel like a number to them whereas a lot of places you may. It would be very hard for someone to find a place with a group this good.If you are looking for a place, definitely check out Metro.

Close to literally everything you would want living a downtown lifestyle. We lived here for 3 years and would have stayed longer if it were not for an out of state move. Ray Vinjamuri: , the building is typically pretty clean, and the whole premise is well built with some nice amenities. They have a lot of nice events going on throughout each month as well, so if you're interested in meeting other people or having free food it can be pretty nice. Can't say there's much to complain about, and with the rent prices being very reasonable and maintenance requests getting fulfilled quickly, it has so far been worth the value.Thus far, there are only a few minor negatives. For one, our apartment does not have ceiling lighting in the living room or both bedrooms, and with the ceilings being vaulted in the penthouses, it's tough to properly light the place with just a few lamps. Not sure why they have light switches in these areas
