Judi Blomberg: I moved to the Vue in December 2023 and I have so enjoyed living in my new home. Even though I am retired, I wanted a building with multiple age groups. I also wanted to downsize after selling my home. I knew I wanted to live at the Vue as soon as I walked into the lobby and met the managers who were so welcoming! I loved the common spaces on the first and sixth floor that felt so Nordic to me, the style I prefer. The sixth floor has a great view and I look forward to enjoying a glass of wine on the outdoor patio during the summer. My apartment has just the space I need, a large kitchen with slide out shelves, a balcony with views in all directions and a generously sized walk in closet. Generally it's a quiet building which I appreciate. Loring Park is just a block away and has a community center with frequent free activities sponsored by the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board. Walks in the Park and Sculpture Garden are an added plus to living at the Vue. I'm close to museums, sport venues, restaurants and so much more. I am loving the life in downtown Minneapolis and at the Vue!

The staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. Noah, Dan and Sarah were all there for me as I asked them endless questions. I had a negative experience at my previous residence and they went above and beyond to make sure I found the perfect unit to call home. They didn't rush me into making a decision and gladly let me visit multiple times before I found the right fit.I've only been here a week but you know when a place is right, it's just a vibe. The community is really friendly, they have a bunch of activities for the residents including yoga twice a week. This place rocks!

What I know for sure is that the leadership team in place currently is an AMAZING group of professionals. Noah, Sarah, Dan, Dave, and Joe always go the extra mile to make 222 truly the best place to live. Like every other property, they run into their share of problems and issues. Occasionally, they score a HUGE victory against almost insurmountable odds. However, I have observed that it is their everyday successes that make 222 a great place to live. This is also what motivates me to stay - even with all the newer properties opening up all around 222. I recall reading a quote in an article on Harold Poling years ago where he said, “Not all heroes are engaged in events that make headlines, not all are enshrined in halls of fame. Many heroes in our business are the people who do their best every day and succeed more often than not.” This sounds like the staff a 222 Hennepin.Noah, Sarah, Dan, Dave, and Joe, thank you for everything you do for the 222 community. There are times when we as residents forget the great experiences you have delivered. But, we will never forget how you make us feel. There is a true sense of community and belonging at 222 Hennepin. Serving and leading is a balancing act. You all do it very well.

Niki Daul: Would absolutely recommend living at 222 to anyone looking to live in Minneapolis! I spent 3 years there and have zero complaints. The building is in an amazing location, with a bonus having whole foods just downstairs. The staff was always very helpful and quick to respond to any questions/needs/maintenance requests, etc. The amenities are also great - I spent a lot of time out on the pool deck and using the gym. They also hold plenty of events for all residents to join - yappy hours for the apartment pups were always a great time.

I’ve really enjoyed that from the start my interactions with the team have always felt personable and not pushy or “sales-y” in any way. Reading reviews for other buildings got me thinking I’d have to deal with unreasonable staff one way or the other regardless of where I decided on in the North Loop and 222 proved that not to be the case. At first I came across its overwhelmingly positive reviews then happened to meet different folks living in the building that encouraged me to check it out and relieved my concerns around the reviews being exaggerated. If 222 is on your list, definitely take the time to tour. Hope this helps!P.S. One low key, unadvertised perk I discovered after moving is that the lobby coffee machine makes the *best* hot chocolate I’ve had in any of the residential buildings I’ve tried lol. *chef’s kiss*

The staff have been excellent throughout the entire process of scheduling my first tour to move-in. Very professional and very prompt to respond to inquiries/questions. The move-in process was smooth and it was very convenient to have the ability to reserve the loading dock and freight elevator for the movers. The property/building itself is excellent. I love the location right downtown, which comes with great views from my new apartment and from the various amenities throughout the building, which are also excellent. The building is clean, modern, and well-maintained. I had issues at a previous property with neighbors smoking in the building and smoke odors in my apartment due to this. That has not been a problem here. Not only are the staff great, but the neighbors are courteous and respectful as well. No noise issues, well-behaved pets etc. This is a very well-managed property and the management as well as the residents clearly take pride in keeping it a clean, well-maintained and pleasant living environment.

Mark Chavez: I'm a current residence for nearly a year. I have truly enjoyed living at Borealis. The location is wonderful. There is a great coffee shop, a nice wine store and even a comedy club across the street! The common areas are very cozy, the apartments are modern, the gym is great and it's always very quiet in the evenings. I wish we had reserved parking spots, but I usually don't have a problem finding a parking in the garage. Overall, a great place to live.

Erik Montag: I’ve lived here are Borealis for a year now and have nothing but great things to say! The common areas, such as the rooftop, sky lounge, and gym, are gorgeous and always clean! The management team and maintenance people are kind and attentive and I always had my needs addressed within hours of submitting a question or request. The apartment itself uses space quite efficiently and lets in tons of natural light, which helped a lot during the Minnesota winter! Finally, the location is amazing with a plethora of bars, restaurants, and parks just a couple blocks away!

Alex, and the rest of the staff have been nothing but attentive to any needs I may have had. Property is kept up, and tenants are courteous. The roof top view is spectacular! It’s been honestly one of the best apartments I’ve lived in! If I was not relocating for job purposes, I would still be calling Borealis home.

Whether I'm bar hoping, going to a show/event, or taking a walk along the riverfront, Edition is in the center of it all yet far enough away from NoLo that it's not excessively noisy. Also, getting out of town is incredibly easy with quick access to 35 & 94Quality: the building is well cared for and well maintained. You don't get a pool, but there is a fantastic gym, community room, and outdoor BBQ and firepit overlooking the park, which has live music, movies, and other fun events. Plus, if you like coffee, they have a really good coffee bar. The rooms are very nice, too, with insulated walls and luxury appliances. Every one of my guests were impressed by the place.Staff: any apartment can bring good amenities and be built in the right area, but what makes Edition so great is the staff. They actually care; not just about the apartment but also you. Every time I pass by the desk, it sparks a conversation and laughs. And I see that with others two. Edition is not a massive building with too many faceless tenants, so their's a homey, second-family feel, and the staff really know everyone and their story. Even the maintenance guys know who I was and were happy to strike up a conversation. And the staff are efficient. Any problems I had were resolved swiftly and followed on. They really care, and it shows when they ask people to fill out a survey on what we want, and then we see community events and actions taken on those surveys.I can't express enough how much I love this apartment. I lived in other apartments that claim "luxury life without luxury price" but they always have issues. Edition has none. I would have stayed longer if I was not going home to Seattle. If you're looking for an apartment downtown Minneapolis, I cannot think of any better than Edition

Chelsea Pereira: I am so pleased, my fiancé, and I decided to select this building. Like many of you I went through detailed reviews to determine what would be the best experience for us. I am a young entrepreneur and I appreciate that most people in the building seem like they are professional, classy and friendly. Particularly we love Rick the manager. Makenzi is also fabulous at the front desk. Our maintenance guy is extremely sweet to our kitten and communicative about solutions. We love the resident events as an opportunity to get to know our neighbors. One of the reasons we decided on this building was because of the view of the Commons Park and this end of downtown is just minutes away from nightlife and kind of like a quiet pocket except on special occasions. We are new to Minneapolis, and have even met some other couples our age to go out and have some drinks with. I think because this building does not have a pool it attracts a more mature sophisticated demographic. My apartment is beautiful, and I am absolutely loving it here and looking forward to how it feels in the winter!

Aaron Sidman: If you're considering living downtown due to work and wanting to be close to music venues, this is the place to be. I had a quick timeline to move to Minneapolis and the process was smooth and painless with leasing. The team is willing to work with you to get you here. I put out requests to about two dozen apartments downtown and in the surrounding area and Soo Line got back to me in hours, not days. One thing that I can NOT stress enough is the management company's responsiveness. Anything I've ever needed has been immediate and always done with a smile. Logan and team are so willing to accommodate.Also, the apartments here are some of the best downtown for the money. You get a ton of great amenities, skyway access, and really nice apartments. I have a lofted unit with massive windows that I absolutely love and is a block away from my work. Tour the place and check it out!

Robert was genuine, helpful, and approachable as a building manager throughout my stay. The maintenance team are responsive and answer to any concerns or problems related to the unit promptly. They make sure the problem is resolved and never rush things through. Was a pleasure to stay in Metro as a tenant.

I plan on staying here until I finish graduate school. I highly recommend this complex!!

Samantha Gillis: My husband and I lived here for 3 years and absolutely loved it! The location was great for walking to both of our jobs downtown and the units were clean, modern and comfortable. There's easy access to restaurants, the Nicollet Mall Target and the highway at a reasonable rent. But this complex is distinguished by its amazing staff! Robert and Mo and everyone else were great, consistently reliable, and helpful if anything happened. For example our microwave stopped working after living there for about 2 years, and Mo had it replaced within a day! We moved out of state but can't recommend these apartments enough to anyone looking in the Minneapolis downtown area.

Shrey Pareek: We stayed at Metro for around 8 months. The apartments are amazing and very fancy for the price. Floor-plans are nice and very spacious. The management and staff are super helpful and nice. Robert and Zach were really helpful throughout our stay. They even volunteered to take care of our kitties once. They deliver packages to your apartment door and that is a blessing. The building is super safe. I would 100 percent recommend Metro to anyone and everyone.

Jim Dwyer: I lived here for two months for a corporate relocation. First thing I was worried about was noise. I’m a country boy so the downtown area had me worried. Turned out this building is amazingly quiet. If I walked out onto my balcony I could hear the sounds of downtown but with the windows closed I heard nothing. The apartments are very quiet as well. I never heard my neighbors. The one bedroom was quite spacious for a downtown apartment. The staff were very friendly and were very quick to help me with anything I needed. The skyway made it very convenient to get to target or anywhere else I wanted to go to. The train to the airport is five blocks away. All in all I enjoyed my time and would recommend anyone looking for an affordable nice place in downtown to rent here

I’ve had many types of managements over the years and the Metro’s is without a doubt the best. They are seriously caring and responsive. The fact that there is a large parking ramp beneath the apartments really easily opens up opportunities for friends and family to visit which is much harder to coordinate in any other apartment complex anywhere close to downtown. I don't believe Metro is run by some huge corporation and that really made it feel more family run. As a resident, I didn't feel like a number to them whereas a lot of places you may. Sjerstin Meyer: Having lived in other apartments in Loring Park, this is the best I've found! The building is clearly stunning and historic from the outside and I absolutely love my unit. It is spacious, loft style, high ceilings and is more unique than the majority of apartments I had toured. Feels much more like a "home" than a cheap apartment unit. The building is surprisingly quiet, which is a huge plus. I've never had noise issues with neighbors or otherwise, which is especially surprising with my unit being right off the main lobby. Management has always been friendly, attentive and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. There is a small, but beautiful rooftop area and the location in Loring Park is central to literally everything. I truly love living here!

No doubt there were some transitioning bumps with the change of management but I can always say the focus was on the residents..current residents. None of this nonsense where "future residents" somehow are more important then Current residentsThe building is really the most unique in the area. Beautifully renovated for living from an office space. Surely a building you are proud to share with friends and family. The inside is historic with original marble floors and beautiful murals in the lobby.The building is very quiet despite is being pet friendly. There is a dog wash, as well as a back pet relief area.Location is as good as it gets. You can walk everywhere, or hop on one of the many, many electric scooters.WOULD RECOMMEND PAYING FOR THE PARKING SPOT. Street parking can be very difficult in the area.Anyway..this property is definitely one to consider in your apartment hunt.

I love the Structure of the building the idea of Mail being delivered inside the building is amazing. And the apartment itself is magnificent. Gives you a great feeling to be a residence. Access to Washer & Dryer was the Best idea any management could think of and all the amenities definitely the workout room is great to tone up parts of the body. Love this Location. I lived there for 15 months in a wonderful apartment on the 11th floor with spectacular views of the lake and the golf course. In truth, it was one of the best things about living in Minneapolis, says the California born man very much opposed to the snow. Also, as an older, well constructed building there is a great deal of quiet in one's apartment, relative to the newer buildings across the city and the apartments are very spacious as well. You'd pay 3 to 4 times as much in San Francisco for this apartment! That said, I highly recommend living at West Lake Quarter, The Original.

Owen Wischhoff: Mezzo Apartments is one of the best Minnesota apartment complexes. I visited the property and everything is top-tier. Very friendly maintenance workers and I would love to sign a lease there.

Shoumit Karnik: Amazing place with great amenities. Has a gym and maintained by the management. Also has a nice common area with a TV and board games along with a patio and a grill.

Egypt Brown: They are very friendly and reliable. They always try their best to help with anything and I absolutely love the staff.You don’t have to stress about things breaking or struggles. They seem to always have your back whenever.

Aleigha Henderson: After looking at many different apartments, in lots of areas, including the cities and suburbs; The Asher was always stuck in that number one spot. After moving, I couldn’t be any more pleased. The immediate involvement in the community through weekly events, & running into great people going about our lives has been so refreshing. I moved for a needed change, and that’s exactly what I got. Not only is the social environment more than I could have asked, the location is superb. I love going on walks, checking out restaurants & being where the views are. I had no idea Lake Calhoun was so close! Everything is so accessible. My quality of life has highly improved! Even if you’re busy with work, and short on time, it doesn’t seem to feel that way. With the grocery store being steps away, events, wonderful neighbors, a hot tub to relax or grill, and a gym that has almost everything you need; Life is easy, and great!The apartment itself is wonderful! It’s beautiful, clean, updated. I have more cabinet room than I know what to do with, and closet space to fill. Walking in, and heading out of The Asher never gets old . As soon as you enter there’s a calm, and if you need the opposite just grab some coffee, it’s too good. I highly suggest The Asher!

Many perks and good memories from The Asher.People usually ask about the safety of the area and an honest answer is that yes, at night there’s usually some weird things going on across the street at the Cub parking lot, and there were a few incidents of theft and a break-in of the garage

And that’s not luck: I’ve lived here for over two years and there have been a couple of people in the leasing office and different maintenance people and all of them have been incredible. I think that’s because of the building management company. The leasing staff live in the building which means that they actually care and know about the place. This isn’t standard when it comes to apartments in my experience. Mitch & Kayla in the leasing office have been outstanding— they are readily available, friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Chris P: are awesome!! A few times a month they organize social gatherings. As someone who was new to Minneapolis, these were really helpful opportunities to meet people. In terms of the living space, I've also been really happy. I got a studio apartment, but it was more spacious than I was expecting. The apartments were also only built a couple years ago, so all the appliances are really new. I've lived here for six months, and I haven't had to put in any work orders yet. The location is nice too because it's in walking distance to the chain of lakes and plenty of restaurants. I highly recommend these apartments, especially if you're moving to Minneapolis for the first time!

The leasing team is super friendly and helpful! They plan plenty of fun community events to meet other people and have made us feel super welcome here! 10/10 would recommend.

Heather Misener: I had a great experience living in this apartment building. The amenities were fantastic, including the dog bath, free coffee machine, and heated garage. As a dog owner, the dog bath was a real game-changer for me. It made it so much easier to keep my furry friend clean without having to leave the building. The free coffee machine was also a nice touch, especially on busy mornings when I didn't have time to stop at a cafe.The heated garage was a definite plus during the colder months. It made getting into my car so much more pleasant, and I didn't have to worry about scraping snow and ice off my windshield.The building itself was well-maintained and felt safe and secure. I appreciated the keyless entry system, which made it easy to come and go without worrying about carrying keys. The staff were always friendly and responsive to any issues or concerns that came up.Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment building to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient living experience. The amenities and attentive staff really made it feel like a home.
