Melanie Reger: Overall my experience has been positive. Couple of comments:- Parking garage is not very secure. All bikes were stolen recently and cameras are inaccessible. Garage door is a tarp which was ripped open and exposed for people to break in.- Maintenance requests are slow. I have put in several requests to fix my key fab to access my apartment for months and no response.

Abdirisaq Elmi: Amazing place to be and live. Great location close to downtown but not too immersed in it. A fresh bakery shop inside the building, logical and secure features and methods to ensure tenants safety and privacy. Also… depending on your unit, the view could be one of the best views on the city.

Dennis Rossetti: The Gatsby Apartments have been an unexpected pleasure! We relocated to Minneapolis from Florida not knowing what to expect other than a weather change. Upon arrival at the Gatsby we met Leasing Consultants TC and Julia, who from the first hello, both of them gave us a sense of comfort and a feeling that this would be a good experience! During our initial tour of the complex we were very impressed by the sense of security and care that went into providing a top notch living experience for the residents with its amenities and well kept community spaces. The apartment we reside in has exceeded our expectations. It has been a warm, comfortable and meticulously designed to utilize all the space that allows us not to feel cramped. After experiencing living at the Gatsby apartments we would not hesitate to recommend this complex to our family and friends!
Quinn Bissen: .The building's location makes it easy to access the entire metro area, you are able to get just about anywhere in ~15 minutes or less, also the north loop is nearby which has plenty of great spots for walks or restaurants to grab a bite to eat.Finally, the views from the building are fantastic and there is a heated parking garage
Kera LePitre: You just can't find a better option at this price range around downtown. In unit laundry, walk-in closets, AND large soaking tubs? Are you kidding?Not to mention the staff are so incredibly flexible and accommodating. Julia, TC, and Mason go above and beyond. Truly "luxury" experience.

He went above and beyond during my time living there and when I moved out.In an effort to be transparent, the one elevator was broken pretty regularly during my time there but there are two others and a stairwell. So, it wasn't even close to a big deal.I would recommend living here to anyone!
Ramadan Kareem: is a nearly impossible state/community to integrate into regardless of effort, and isolation is debilitating; however, the Gatsby management drives honorable efforts to cultivate a community and sense of belonging through various events. And I mean very generous events for residents; cookouts, yoga, breakfast, did I mention cookouts?The apartments are beyond beautiful. I've never lived in a place like my 1 bed 1 bath. I can't say enough about Mason and his staff. Thank you all for the support and positive experience the past year.

For around the same price, I believe the apartments are typically larger than the buildings nearby.To start, the aroma of Lutunji's cafe's freshly brewed coffee greets you as soon as you go through the main entrance. TC and Julia, who work at the main office, are the most helpful staff members ever. Given that moving in isn't always the most exciting process, TC was the one that assisted me, and I couldn't have had a better experience. They sincerely care about your experiences and go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They also keep the residents up to date on any nearby activities and/or events. They ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of all the amenities. Wonderful individuals in every way.The Gatsby has excellent amenities. There is a great pool, cornhole, and a nice BBQ area. Having a great coffee machine in the lobby would be one way to enhance the overall experience.Overall, I would give it a 10/10.

Aaron Lefkow: I lived here for about 3 years. It's a great location and a nice building. The employees are all very friendly and maintenance is very fast. My only minor complaint is that they don't always respond to emails. Not a big issue since you can just go into the office and talk to them directly. Overall, I highly recommend living here.

Giordano Julián Cervera: Been living here for almost two years. Affordable and the managers and staff are extremely kind, approachable, and helpful. Building is quiet and clean. I feel fortunate to live here.
Emmanuel Dwumoh: Rarely leave reviews but I have to this time. I’m sad that I’m moving out of state for work and I have been reading reviews on other apartments and I’ll say this place is above the rest. I lived here for 3years and I wouldn’t have left it it wasn’t for work. The team in the leasing office is always there when you need something. Maintenance was done in a timely manner, packages were always secured in the package room, had an overnight security that tour the building. I felt safe coming home every night. They have a secure unground parking for the snow days, they made sure to penalize residents who was smoking in the building and I love that because most apartment wouldn’t say anything. Overall I loved living here and it was a great experience

One of the things that I loved about Mill City was that Linda, the property manager, always went above and beyond for us, even delivering packages to our apartments. Whitney Chiao: I lived here for 5 years and loved my time here. This building has everything I was looking for - 24 hour gym, quiet, apartments updated, and well-maintained. Michael and Wynette are always very responsive and friendly. Great maintenance staff and cleaning. Central location just off downtown with easy access to major freeways.

Caja Sipes: I had confusion around rent credits and the way they were used and contacted Blue. I was connected to Claudia who took the time to explain both on the phone and in written correspondence the exact charges, while refunding any mistakes. She did this all while being incredibly kind.Additionally, Angela worked with me on numerous occasions on ensuring any worry around parking or amenities was resolved in a timely way while also being kind and understanding.Jen, Angela, and Claudia have been incredibly reasonable, fair and great to work with.

Uptown is an awesome place to live but definitely not the safest.I’ve only had to file one maintenance request, and it was dealt with very promptly and professionally.Leasing, maintenance, security and all other staff is very friendly when I see them.The dog park is great, and the gym is awesome. I’m excited for the summer time to utilize the pool.All around great experience so far!

The location, building, amenities and unit were exactly what I was looking for. I've lived Downtown Chicago for the past 10 years and this location/neighborhood is the best comparison to what I consider true city living, in the city of Minneapolis. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking in the area and specifically recommend Dane to help guide you through the process!!

Joseah Ojibway: I have been at Uptown Lake for about 6+ months now and so far it has been a good experience. Management is friendly and professional. Neighbors are friendly and good food is always nearby!I think the maintenance team is amazing, they're always friendly and communicative about my reported issues. Their response time is great but if they're unable to solve the issue right away it can take a while to resolve it, let alone hear from anyone. They're also very respectful of the initial "notify resident before visit because of pets etc." But if they need to make multiple visits, they don't call the next times.All in all, a good place to live.

The cleaning company they have is great. They clean every day in the area besides Sundays, which is reasonable and understandable!! I love that the hallways are always clean. That is very important to me!! The property manager is awesome. She goes above and beyond to meet expectations and she lets me know that my thoughts are valued and that means a lot to me. Aces High: work order requests in a very timely and effective manner. For maintenance work or anything else they assist you with, the follow-up communication is always timely and informative.Any notable matters that come up: such as upcoming maintenance work in public spaces, security concerns, or even the status of construction across the street - are all consistently addressed by the staff in clear communications to tenants.When I renewed my lease this year, but wanted to move into a different room - the staff assisted me in securing storage lockers and even worked with the previous tenant to make it possible for me to move between apartments
Christina Jeong: The staff is absolutely wonderful and they truly set the warm, friendly, and inviting culture at Tula. You get good vibes as soon as you walk in. I loved living there and they really left a positive memory for me during my stay in Minneapolis.
Win Bennett: Tula is the ideal uptown apartment experience. The location is fabulous, the fit and finish top notch, maintenance VERY good, and the staff outstanding. We've rented with Solhem companies in Minneapolis since 2012, and can't say enough good things about them as landlords. Highly recommended if you are unsure where to live!
Marina Duchesneau: across the street came in handy countless times. The location of this Solhem property is fantastic, and I would say it is the best! Since Tula is in the heart of Uptown, Lake Street can get very busy and loud on the weekends. We lived in a unit that faced the front of the building, so if you do consider a future unit at Tula, just know that it gets a little loud outside at times. Regardless of the street noise, it's a city and to be expected. As for the community, Tula is quiet, respectful, and filled with working professionals. Everyone is polite, and has a little fur friend since Tula is one of the few buildings where they don’t discriminate against dog breeds. Finally, the thought and care that has gone into maintaining the building is impressive. I'd say Tula has the best maintenance team in Minneapolis. It is truly a fantastic place to live.
Gabriella Brannock: While I did not wind up leasing with Tula, the touring and information sharing was 5 stars, easily. Caleb is wonderful to work with and made sure we were aware of all amenities. Given that we were not able to tour in person, Caleb had a great slide deck prepared with videos of the common spaces and units themselves. If you are looking for an easy rental process, this management is outstanding!
Michael Dorsey: This has been by far one of the best apartments we've ever lived in. The layout of the units makes them feel big, and tall windows let in tons of natural light. Wish we could get more than one spot or a bigger spot in the garage, but it's a heated garage and it's great to have a guaranteed spot to park your car in the wintertime. Highly recommend Tula for anyone looking for an apartment building that has a strong community feeling with all the amenities in the Uptown neighborhood.
Madison Eckel: and it’s been far my favorite! The size of the complex is perfect, it’s super accessible to everything and the management is amazing and so friendly. It feels like family. Also, I went from a 750 sq foot apt living alone to 550 sq ft at Tula and all I have to say is the development group nailed it with how to make the space the most usable. From the coat hanger and boot alcove right behind the door to a little desk area within the wall, every sq foot was smartly designed. It will also be exciting to see how the area transforms with the brand new building finishing up in 2020 across the street.
Julia Oran: Tula is a wonderful place to live and I was sad to leave! The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The building and the apartments are thoughtfully designed and have nice amenities like in unit washer/dry, dish washer, gym, and roof deck. Would definitely recommend!

This is the BEST experience I have ever had renting, and I couldn't recommend them more.The rooftop has a community herb garden, fire pits, grills and more. The city scape is stunning, and I enjoyed taking it in at night!The apartment was clean upon entering with top of the line appliances. The staff are on site and are responsive to any questions concerns that may arise! I've never rented an apartment where I could easily reach out and have a response right away.Fantastic place to live in the center of everything Uptown. I worked at WeWork and had an easy and enjoyable walk every day.PS - my dog Pumba LOVED living here as well. They are pet friendly and truly mean it!

Michelle Ngo: The staff at Tula have been amazing. Hilary is the absolute sweetest. Anytime we have a question about something she's always quick to give us an answer. And whenever we have maintenance request, she's on it and the staff gets to it asap. We've never had to wait longer than a day for something to get fixed. The complex is also always kept clean and tidy..and the rooftop is to die for! We are so happy with our decision to move to Tula. It's reasonably priced and in a great location close to restaurants, bars, and Lake Bde Maka Ska. I highly recommend!
Sean Foley: TULA is simply AMAZING!! Really is the best value for the area. Cheaper than all of the other central Uptown Apartments. Gorgeous rooftop, free herb garden, walking distance to everything you may need. Building is always clean and they emphasize and remind residents of the importance of security. Above that Management is always friendly and extremely responsive. Hilary is the best of the best and is always engaged with the happenings of the community. Truly she has the best interests of all the residents!
R G: Tula is the best.I leased an apartment here in August 2018. My experience living here has been amazing.The managers are friendly and very helpful. The whole leasing and moving in thing was very easy and without any problems. The building itself is very clean and very well maintained. The view from my balcony is beautiful. The apartment walls are very well soundproofed.Tula is super pet friendly. Our dog Larry, also loves living here. He especially likes the treats he gets from the front office. All the tenants I have met are very friendly.The location is also great. Everything you could ask for is within walking distance. There is a grocery store across the street and a Target 5 minutes away. Feel like pizza at 2 in the morning? No problem. Just walk across the street. Seriously, you can get Japanese, Thai, Korean, Indian, and barbecue all less than 5 minutes away. Lots of bars too. Lake Bde Maka Ska is 3 blocks away.So if you are looking for a great apartment in a great location, Tula is the place.

N S: . I also really wish there are more cameras and lights around parking lot.🚬Another thing: it smells like weed ALL THE TIME in hallway. I get it, and the management tried to send email out. However, it’s been a problem that annoyingly inconvenients me, but not a deal breaker for the rent price.The cleaning staff is very nice. They always take care of little details.Summary:If you want a good and well maintained apartment in nice area, amenities, parking spot, and don’t mind slow response time or weed smell 24/7 - I would consider this place. Which those 2 things are not the big deal, just the part I find a bit frustrating.Overall:-Building safety: 5/5-Management and staff: 3/5-maintenance staff: 5/5-Parking safety: 3.5/5

The interior of the hallways maybe looks a little dated, but it’s clean. You can tell the management cares about the tenants with how responsive and kind Tammy is. Miguel Angel Ovies-Bocanegra: The only reason why I am giving this apartment 5 stars is because of the current management team, Cushman & Wakefield. Specifically, Katie E. - the current leasing manager at FIT.I resided in this apartment complex for nearly three years and during my tenure there, it was under two/three different management companies. Surprisingly, previous companies were unable to contract adequate managers to meet the needs of the current residents. However, once Katie arrived, an immediate change of culture, affinity and an increased sense of belonging transpired. Basic necessities were met such as security concerns, cleanliness and overall organization.Additionally, to speak to Katie's leadership, she received the apartment with a host of problems from break-ins, organizational inadequacies, and cleanliness. It didn't take long for Katie to resolve these issues. Moreover, a couple of months later, 4-6 units flooded. Katie again stepped up immediately, alongside her supervisor to ensure that my needs were met and professionally resolved.On a personal note, I enjoyed working and communicating with Katie - an outstanding individual. On a professional note, as someone who's managed professionals in the past, she is an all-star leader, team-member and professional. If I worked in her industry, I would instantly seek out her skill-set.In regards to the apartment - it is located at the outskirt of downtown MPLS on a busy intersection. The hospital is about 1/2 mile away with frequent ambulance and cop sirens passing by. The apartments are reasonably priced and fairly adequate to live. Would I live there again, only if Katie was the manager and I lived on the top floor.
Danny Denero: Convenient location right off 94, priced for all with renovated and non renovated units, pet friendly with a separate outdoor area for dogs and provided disposal for waste, amenities would include a recently updated community room with a pool table, gym, lounge area, and usuable kitchen for events or just a night with friends while keeping the apartment uncluttered. You will not find a more friendly and accommodating property manager who will always get the job done!
Richard Brown: , and indoor/outdoor parking. Many of the units have been refreshed with stainless steel appliances etc, while old units like mine are dated but of course cheaper. Generally a quiet place -- traffic and ambulances on Portland Avenue can be noisy when the windows are open. If you're looking for the urban lifestyle, want a larger space at lower cost, and don't mind an older building, definitely check this place out.
