Gamut Gallery: what do users think?

Phil Warumzer: Great place to experience art and all of the interactions of supporting it!

Brian Wene: Great collection and incredible events occur regularly here. The art here is consistently of the highest quality and the different styles all come together to create a very welcoming community in the Elliot Park neighborhood. Make a plan to attend an opening night celebration in addition to the closing night party. Live music and other performances can be seen at this intimate gallery during those events. I highly suggest becoming a member as you get free entrance to events and other great perks. The membership price is affordable & a payment plan is an option. Artist talks typically occur during the regular exhibits & are emceed by solid members of the greater art community. I make sure to budget an annual membership to solidify my spot in the art community because the viewers are an important part of it.

matthew olsen: Thank you very much for Yuya's show.He is a Minneapolis gem!

Frank Neubecker: Amazing gallery with wonderful art from the community!

Desiree Forget: Best little gallery in town!

LUNCHBOX6690: I've been there a handful of times and every time is a blast. The people are fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy.

Bwana: A very nice gallery space. It was a well curated show, and everyone there was extremely pleasant. I look forward to going back. The only issue I have was the acoustics were not ideal for a large gathering.

Thomas Robinson: Cool place

Grant “George Randel” Doyle: Awesome gallery w/ great atmosphere! My only minor complaint would be the bartender seemed like he was trying a little too hard to be cool and he could do little bit less chit-chat and little more pouring drinks. Overall 10/10!

Lucy Johnson: It was an awesome place too be there i never been there before and it was my first time there the store ower was super friendly because I had some stuff in the show and lots of people came too it 😀 😄 😊

Justin Savageau: Had a great time at a colab here. Neat space, cool people, awesome host. Will definitely check out future events.

Laura Cina: Went for the ColabArt night!

Mikayla Peterson: Best gallery in the cities! Always good vibes and energy in there!

Haley Spann: Beautiful gallery 10/10 would recommend

christina marie Johnson: Absolutely ADORE Gamut Gallery! Founded by two out-of-this-world bad a** women! Gamut hosts several events throughout the year that are free to their members or can gain entry by paying a small fee. The space in itself offers a lovely front area with a showcase displaying some items for purchase and a few shelves, and then has the main gallery space just beyond that. They have been open for almost 10 years! And I am excited for their next 10! Support local art and stop in! Check them out on facebook and Instagram as well for updates on events!

Levi Purdum: I enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and open to conversation. I'm not an artist and certainly an amateur observer of art who greatly enjoyed the leading questions and engagement when offered by staff. In particular the lanky young employee who politely informed me of their water bottle policy before I entered the first exhibit also proved to be a wealth of information. In the very next room another employee successfully challenged me into recognizing a word in what largely appeared to be a jumble of chaos. The statue garden was fantastic and actively enjoyed by children adding a practical value to the inherent aesthetic value.

All My Relations Gallery: what do users think?

Chad Bublitz: Nice place a unique place and a nice Native American gallery located in South Minneapolis inside the coffee house called Pow Wow Wow grounds change the display is often all authentic all Native American artists I always find it interesting to stop and see what they have new when I'm in that area truly a great place to stop to bring the family or by yourself this day and age we can all use a little culture and a little history also is always been clean and everybody's been courteous I hope you have the same experience that I have many blessings in your way and live the best life possible

Dawn Paro: Amazing guy art work on displayAuthentic

Oz Ragland: What an important addition to the Minneapolis art scene. Having an indigenous gallery in this city really makes a difference. This is so evident from just the gallery reviews. My direct experience of the current show was quite impactful. It focuses on the loss of a native family in Canada that lost their young adult son in an automobile accident. It explores the unexpected loss of a loved one from different points of view, including story skirts, moccasins, tobacco bags and other artworks. The grieving artistic family left a tribute to their son.It stimulated me to talk with my adult son about the prospect of me dying before his mother. This felt important.

Chase Hand: Wonderful place to chill and get a view of amazing art that is lovingly curated

Isaac StClair: Come check it out!

Patricia Shelton: I enjoy going to the pow wow coffee grounds to drink coffee with my best friend, the staff is always very friendly and respectful and the food is always good!

Johnson Bergen: Fantastic art museum featuring Indigenous Peoples' art. Well curated exhibits sensitively displayed and explained.

Dyana DeCoteau-Dyess: The gallery is very organized and welcoming. The little cafe attached adds to the charm. Representation matters and the gallery does a fantastic job showcasing Indigenous artists and voices.

Natasha Weaver: love the ndn tacos! environment is wonderful!

Jacquelyn Saice: Love this place!

nabor osorno: Nice place if you look yo see some gallery

Trevyn Paige: Look, this place is huge and there are a ton of artists. Are they all to my taste, absolutely not, but there are a handful of truly inspiring, creative, and jaw-dropping artists here and the place is definitely worth putting in the time and steps to visit and explore. The building itself is cool to navigate, and the place is always vibrant if you visit during one of the many “open nights” or during the Art Crawl (which is pretty crowded, TBH, but still fun.

The Museum of Russian Art: what do users think?

Gayle M: The museum was fabulously curated, and the building is a work of art in and of itself. They had exhibits from their permanent collection, cartoons and political art, surrealist work and modern large sculptures with natural wood and metal. Each artist had a story - many were about their difficulty pursuing their art in Russia. It was an incredible testimony to the freedoms we take for granted here in the United States.

Chang-Tsan Lu: We came here through the program "Museum on Us" by the Bank of America, and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to visit this little gem in the Twin Cities region. The museum is small, but the collection of art does shed some light on the Soviet culture. We enjoyed being here.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Steve Rawlins: An amazing cultural asset nestled within a otherwise modest Minneapolis neighborhood. Painting, sculpture, mixed media, Tsarist, Revolutionary, Soviet, post-collapse, abstract, representational, humorous, poignant, surreal and plain. Also a fantastic music venue. The architecture, bright interiors, oh and a great gift shop.Visited on Weekend …

Eric Gustafson: Incredible! Well, it's credible, but very.

Milton Siegele: "The work of art is born of the artist in a mysterious and secret way. From him it gains life and being. Nor is its existence casual and inconsequent, but it has a definite and purposeful strength, alike in its material and spiritual life."~Wassily KandinskyWhat a beautifully pleasant surprise if you love art!We were wowed by the permanent collection and a few quite extraordinary pieces like:Milkmaids, Novella, 1962Nikolai N. BaskakovOil on Canvas, 47 x 90Gift of Pam and Jack Safar, 2015The architectural design of the gallery.is beautiful too.-The Museum of Russian Art is the only museum in North America dedicated to the preservation and presentation of Russian art and artifacts. They feature a dynamic rotation of exhibitions providing a gateway to understanding Russia's history, its heritage, and its art through the masterworks of its greatest artists.

Mike Olinger: Smaller but very nice art museum featuring artists of Slavic origins and local art as well.
