Kasey Dormanen: . Would definitely take again later down the road.

Joel Stegner: Good exhibits.

Jeff is a fantastic instructor I would totally recommend any class from MPLS Photo Center. This is the second class that I have taken.

Julie Henthorne: Amazing place with wonderful people.

Gamut Gallery: what do users think?

Phil Warumzer: Great place to experience art and all of the interactions of supporting it!

Brian Wene: Great collection and incredible events occur regularly here. The art here is consistently of the highest quality and the different styles all come together to create a very welcoming community in the Elliot Park neighborhood. Make a plan to attend an opening night celebration in addition to the closing night party. Live music and other performances can be seen at this intimate gallery during those events. I highly suggest becoming a member as you get free entrance to events and other great perks. The membership price is affordable & a payment plan is an option. Artist talks typically occur during the regular exhibits & are emceed by solid members of the greater art community. I make sure to budget an annual membership to solidify my spot in the art community because the viewers are an important part of it.

matthew olsen: Thank you very much for Yuya's show.He is a Minneapolis gem!

Frank Neubecker: Amazing gallery with wonderful art from the community!

Desiree Forget: Best little gallery in town!

LUNCHBOX6690: I've been there a handful of times and every time is a blast. The people are fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy.

Bwana: A very nice gallery space. It was a well curated show, and everyone there was extremely pleasant. I look forward to going back. The only issue I have was the acoustics were not ideal for a large gathering.

Thomas Robinson: Cool place

Grant “George Randel” Doyle: Awesome gallery w/ great atmosphere! My only minor complaint would be the bartender seemed like he was trying a little too hard to be cool and he could do little bit less chit-chat and little more pouring drinks. Overall 10/10!

Lucy Johnson: It was an awesome place too be there i never been there before and it was my first time there the store ower was super friendly because I had some stuff in the show and lots of people came too it 😀 😄 😊

Justin Savageau: Had a great time at a colab here. Neat space, cool people, awesome host. Will definitely check out future events.

Laura Cina: Went for the ColabArt night!

Mikayla Peterson: Best gallery in the cities! Always good vibes and energy in there!

Haley Spann: Beautiful gallery 10/10 would recommend

christina marie Johnson: Absolutely ADORE Gamut Gallery! Founded by two out-of-this-world bad a** women! Gamut hosts several events throughout the year that are free to their members or can gain entry by paying a small fee. The space in itself offers a lovely front area with a showcase displaying some items for purchase and a few shelves, and then has the main gallery space just beyond that. They have been open for almost 10 years! And I am excited for their next 10! Support local art and stop in! Check them out on facebook and Instagram as well for updates on events!

Levi Purdum: I enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and open to conversation. I'm not an artist and certainly an amateur observer of art who greatly enjoyed the leading questions and engagement when offered by staff. In particular the lanky young employee who politely informed me of their water bottle policy before I entered the first exhibit also proved to be a wealth of information. In the very next room another employee successfully challenged me into recognizing a word in what largely appeared to be a jumble of chaos. The statue garden was fantastic and actively enjoyed by children adding a practical value to the inherent aesthetic value.

Douglas Flanders & Associates: what do users think?

Heidi Howell: The oldest and most respected gallery in Minneapolis-- It has an absolutely great selection and variety of art from realism to modernism to post- modernism, in a wide range of price points. He shows local artists as well as national and international artists -- painting, prints, photography, and sculpture. The gallery assistants are very knowledgeable and helpful -- and very nice! The owner, Doug, is a Minnesota treasure, having been deeply involved in the visual arts for the last 50 years. He believes in and loves art-- not just in it for the money--and he has a delightful, wonderful dog named Izzy, who will greet you with much dog love at the door.

M B: I had a great experience with Douglas Flanders & Associates. I’d purchased a piece of art overseas, and after it arrived in Minneapolis I had Doug Flanders appraise it. A couple of years later it was lost/stolen during a cross-country move. Because of Doug’s appraisal, my insurance company reimbursed me for the loss at full replacement cost.

Nicola Peterson: art interesting and fun. When I’ve been ready to purchase a piece, Doug has an exceptional eye

David Duvall: Flanders Gallery has a friendly and informative staff. You can view old masters, contemporary classics, and regional artists. This is time well spent for an outing in the city!

John Seymour-Anderson: and that I would consider living with, which I consider a significant distinction. It’s not because they’re well crafted decorative works. They are well crafted, but also have a depth

Maurice James DM: I loved the show of Stanley Boxer and Joyce Weinstein. My Mom Dorothy Berenson Blau handled both Boxer and Weinstein in her Bal Harbour, Florida gallery of 52 years, I missed seeing the canvases in her gallery and now got to view them at Flanders. The sensitive textures and depth and thick media lets your mind wander. I LOVED THE SHOW. Thank You, Jim Berenson Hopkins, Minnesota

Dow Art Gallery and Picture Framing: what do users think?

Kris Jacobson: Great gallery owner, very knowledgeable artist himself. Beautiful work. Enjoyed this visit, will be sure to go again!

Anna Scholin: Fabulous gallery of local artists! Particularly good for representational oil paintings. Friendly owner and surprisingly large space. Great place to drop in and browse!

G Timmreck: Great variety of art. Something for everyone.

steve simmer: A large gallery with a variety of art and artists. Framing service on-site is a plus.

Raven Pluim: Pictured is the artwork I purchased, I forgot to ask if I was allowed to take pictures in the gallery before I went in. When I return, I shall ask if pictures are allowed, and if I am given the go ahead, I will post newer pictures. My first art gallery I've ever visited. The owner was nice and respectful, and curated a diverse of art styles for the enjoyment of patrons. Not only this, but prints and greeting card versions of artwork was provided at a price patrons of lesser economic standing could afford. The art here really spoke to me, Marty Maehr's artwork was something I liked the most. Unfortunately, Maehr's work was out of my means to purchase, but I'll tell you it has the simplicity of mosaics from before the Renaissance, but had color blending that was many levels beyond simply eye popping. I recommend this establishment highly. Mr. Dow's art has set a high bar for future art galleries for me.

A P: This is a beautiful gallery that showcases many rotating Minnesota artists: whether the medium is photography, sculptures, or paintings. The owner's mission is to showcase working artists in his beautiful gallery where the artists get support to display their work to the public and where they are able to receive a living wage for their pieces. It is a true partnership between the gallery and the artists. I absolutely love this mission. Currently there is a Ukrainian artist who is one of the artists displaying their work there. Go buy some beautiful art and help artists make a living in what they love to do. There's really something for everyone at this gallery. Last but not least, they also do custom framing, which is absolutely the best! I just can't say enough good things about this place and its owner... he's an immigrant himself that moved with his family when he was a youngster and he is so incredibly humble and genuinely the nicest guy. Go check them out!

Robert Ramirez: I had spoken with Mr Greg Dow on the phone about a painting. You can hear the kindness and concern in his voice when I told him the story of how I came across the painting. He asked for an email of the painting and quickly replied with all the information I needed. Thank you Greg!

Sarah Ellis: Very friendly and does amazing work - the framing I've done here is beautiful and of wonderful quality.

Paul Kaefer: Excellent gallery with quite a few artists. Recommended.

Darren Cowl: Khahn is great and did a great job framing our artwork! Looks wonderful! AAA+++ job!

Laurel O'Gorman: Khanh Tran is indeed a gifted, personable, hard working problem solver, with great skill in his framing and impressive Art Center.

Emma Gabbert: nice!

Dave Casebolt: I can’t say enough good things about Dow Art Gallery and its proprietor, Khanh. The gallery itself is filled with a huge amount of very high quality work of many different styles, and the art framing services provided there are absolutely top-notch. I brought in 4 very different pieces, and we spent a good deal of thoughtful time selecting what we thought would be the best settings for them. I just picked everything up, and couldn’t be happier with the end product. You get what you pay for at this gallery, and Khanh Tran is absolutely outstanding and a joy to work with. Thanks, Khanh!

Nelli Nell: AWSOME!!

Gail Hanson: Kahn did a wonderful job of cleaning and reframing this antique oil painting. He is great to work with and has really creative ideas. I highly recommend Dow Art Gallery & Picture Framing.

A Frame Forward Photography - Minneapolis Wedding Photographer: what do users think?

Roman Sivion: I hired Jackson for a commercial photoshoot and he was first class 100%. The project had a lot of details and instructions and his ability to follow everything flawlessly is impressive. He is very skilled and a top notch professional.

Lindsey O: We made the best decision by choosing Jackson as our wedding photographer. Working with him was an absolute pleasure. Jackson paid close attention to our needs and was an invaluable asset on our special day. The quality of the photos he captured and the beautiful memories he preserved have exceeded our expectations. We are beyond thrilled with his work and cannot recommend him enough!

Danielle Rose: Jackson is THE best person we could have found to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. He made our awkwardness feel a little less awkward and captured our personalities perfectly. We had so much fun with him, I cannot recommend him enough. THANK YOU, JACKSON!

Meredith Martin: If you are lucky enough to book with Jackson at A Frame Forward Photography you definitely hit the "jack" pot!!! Already booking for my youngest sons senior pictures in 2027!!

Amanda Calmbacher: I’ve been looking for a photographer to take pictures of my family for a while, and I found myself aimlessly scrolling through a lot of different options online. Jackson’s artistry stood out to me immediately. When I reached out to him his professionalism and responsiveness was spot on. The photos he took captured our family’s love for each other and playfulness. We’ll be hiring him again and can’t wait to grow our collection with him over the years. Highly recommend.

Lan Grant: Jackson is amazing to work with. We met in person before signing the contract and it made us really feel connected with him and feel more comfortable to work with. He made it very personal. We could really feel it from the first meeting that he cared and was passionate about his job. And it made us feel at ease to work with someone who cares. We booked an 8-hour session. His price is very reasonable for the quality of service and pictures that we received. During the engagement session and wedding day, he was very professional and friendly from every steps and really showed support in our biggest event. He was responsive to every of our concerns and questions. and He covered our missed planning on those days like an angel lol.Jackson went above and beyond to ensure our special moments were captured. and the photos he delivered were really stunning. He was also easy to work with and did corporate well with our videographer.Jackson is absolutely one of the best choices we made for our special day with no regrets. We are really grateful for having him as our wedding photographer. And we would definitely recommend him to anyone for photo service, especially for special event. In the end, we all want to work with someone who cares and can be trusted and that who Jackson is.

Stevie Oakland: . He was great and made us feel very comfortable during the shoot, and the pictures turned out better than I even imagined they would! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion, he was great and extremely skilled. He also gave us some extra time during our shoot which he didn't have to do but I felt that was very thoughtful of him as well!

Cait Montpetit: 5 stars all around. Jackson is professional, fun, talented, organized and has endless creativity! His photos have provided me and my family with memories we will cherish forever. I feel like he stopped time and captured our day and personalities perfectly. We are thrilled with his work and 100% recommend him.

Jason Tschida: Jackson is a pleasure to work with for both food photography and event photography. He is a true professional who is responsive, talented, and his photos are always impeccable.

Nicholas Hall: My journey with this professional photographer was nothing short of exceptional. Their dedication, creativity, and technical prowess culminated in a series of head shots that I am truly proud of. If you're seeking an artist who can capture the essence of who you are in a single frame, look no further.

Dahren Yen: If you're reading this review, you probably already understand how stressful it is find the perfect photographer for your wedding. My wife and I were overwhelmed with the amount of photographers to choose from but were blessed to find Jackson with A Frame Forward Photography.Jackson was very personable and drew us in with his flexibility, professionalism, and willingness to always go the extra mile. We appreciated his unique photographic style and the ability to incorporate different backdrops seamlessly into his photos. Our photos exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier. Thank you again for everything Jackson!

Anna Maurer: We heard of Jackson through a friend and we are so lucky we were able to have him with us on our wedding day! He was a joy to work with, and was a pro running smooth logistics as we were set on NOT seeing each other at all before the ceremony. He made me feel so calm, brought out such personalities, calm and joy from our whole party, and was honestly fun to have around. We’re not people who are much into being in the spotlight, but he made us feel so at ease. And the PHOTOS! My gosh when we got the first batch we were amazed at the quality, the story telling, and the value! There was no skimping, just endless fantastic artistry. These photos capture the story of our friendships, our love, and the joy and calm of the day so well. It feels like he was able to capture that perfect day to be frozen in time.Jackson, we are so grateful for you. You will always be the top of our lists if anyone in our circles ever needs impecable photo storytelling.Love,Anna and Lachlan

Kristina Tester-Klashnya Chien: We used Jackson for both our engagement photos and wedding photos, and were absolutely blown away. He had been recommended to us by a friend whose wedding we marveled at through photographs and he exceeded all of our expectations. He handled a complicated wedding-- two days, different events completely with poise and captured both people photographs and venue photographs perfectly. We could not have been more thrilled and cannot recommend him enough!

Ms. Soule: - Truly so, so great to work with. Don't think twice about hiring Jackson, just do it! My husband and I are not super into the idea of photos and at the same time know the importance of capturing life's events. Jackson makes us feel like we are just hanging out with a friend that takes super amazing pictures. If you need more reassurance that Jackson is your guy, reach out to him for my contact and I'd be more than happy to talk!

Crashley DeMars: to capture your big day. You won’t be disappointed!

Shanon Ployhart: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueJackson is absolutely incredible to work with! Our family has worked with him on a few occasions, his results are stunning. He knows how to capture magic in his photography and preserve it for a lifetime. I would highly recommend him for any occasion!!

Victoria L: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessJackson at A Frame Forward was amazing to work with. Our weather wasn't ideal for my son's senior picture shoot, but Jackson worked with it and the pictures came out beautifully. Highly recommend A Frame Forward for any photography needs!

Greg Robertson: I can't say enough about how incredible it was to work with Jackson. My wife and I were married earlier this year and Jackson took both engagement and wedding photos for us.Throughout the process he always replied immediately to emails I sent and was open to any request I put forth. I wish all of the vendors we worked with communicated that well!He was willing to work with us on the location of the engagement photos and also had suggestions available if we needed them.On the day of the wedding he was on site before we arrived so he could check out the best spots for photos and to make sure he got shots of us pulling up to the venue. He got photos from that first moment to the last.As for the photos themselves...he far exceeded our expectations. The hard part hasn't been finding photo's we'd like to frame and hang, it's been trying to select just a few from so many great shots. He took the standard photos everyone wants, but his creativity was off the charts. He was taking photos from positions I never would have expected and the shots ended up looking amazing. He was professional, creative, friendly and did just an amazing job for us.

Jane Seidman: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueHighly recommend Jackson! He's an extremely professional & talented Minneapolis commercial photographer with a very high quality product. Have used Jackson for formal headshots as well as casual parties & corporate events. He's easy to communicate with, very responsive and he never disappoints.

Elizabeth Edwards: This was actually the first time I had ever hired a professional photographer. I was so pleased with both the photo session and the resulting photos! Jackson was awesome at getting my 8 month old to smile and look at the camera. He knew just where to go in the park to get the best family photos. He always responded quickly to my emails and was super flexible when we had to change the session time due to high temperatures. Would definitely recommend Jackson!
