Gamut Gallery: what do users think?

Phil Warumzer: Great place to experience art and all of the interactions of supporting it!

Brian Wene: Great collection and incredible events occur regularly here. The art here is consistently of the highest quality and the different styles all come together to create a very welcoming community in the Elliot Park neighborhood. Make a plan to attend an opening night celebration in addition to the closing night party. Live music and other performances can be seen at this intimate gallery during those events. I highly suggest becoming a member as you get free entrance to events and other great perks. The membership price is affordable & a payment plan is an option. Artist talks typically occur during the regular exhibits & are emceed by solid members of the greater art community. I make sure to budget an annual membership to solidify my spot in the art community because the viewers are an important part of it.

matthew olsen: Thank you very much for Yuya's show.He is a Minneapolis gem!

Frank Neubecker: Amazing gallery with wonderful art from the community!

Desiree Forget: Best little gallery in town!

LUNCHBOX6690: I've been there a handful of times and every time is a blast. The people are fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy.

Bwana: A very nice gallery space. It was a well curated show, and everyone there was extremely pleasant. I look forward to going back. The only issue I have was the acoustics were not ideal for a large gathering.

Thomas Robinson: Cool place

Grant “George Randel” Doyle: Awesome gallery w/ great atmosphere! My only minor complaint would be the bartender seemed like he was trying a little too hard to be cool and he could do little bit less chit-chat and little more pouring drinks. Overall 10/10!

Lucy Johnson: It was an awesome place too be there i never been there before and it was my first time there the store ower was super friendly because I had some stuff in the show and lots of people came too it 😀 😄 😊

Justin Savageau: Had a great time at a colab here. Neat space, cool people, awesome host. Will definitely check out future events.

Laura Cina: Went for the ColabArt night!

Mikayla Peterson: Best gallery in the cities! Always good vibes and energy in there!

Haley Spann: Beautiful gallery 10/10 would recommend

christina marie Johnson: Absolutely ADORE Gamut Gallery! Founded by two out-of-this-world bad a** women! Gamut hosts several events throughout the year that are free to their members or can gain entry by paying a small fee. The space in itself offers a lovely front area with a showcase displaying some items for purchase and a few shelves, and then has the main gallery space just beyond that. They have been open for almost 10 years! And I am excited for their next 10! Support local art and stop in! Check them out on facebook and Instagram as well for updates on events!

All My Relations Gallery: what do users think?

Chad Bublitz: Nice place a unique place and a nice Native American gallery located in South Minneapolis inside the coffee house called Pow Wow Wow grounds change the display is often all authentic all Native American artists I always find it interesting to stop and see what they have new when I'm in that area truly a great place to stop to bring the family or by yourself this day and age we can all use a little culture and a little history also is always been clean and everybody's been courteous I hope you have the same experience that I have many blessings in your way and live the best life possible

Dawn Paro: Amazing guy art work on displayAuthentic

Oz Ragland: What an important addition to the Minneapolis art scene. Having an indigenous gallery in this city really makes a difference. This is so evident from just the gallery reviews. My direct experience of the current show was quite impactful. It focuses on the loss of a native family in Canada that lost their young adult son in an automobile accident. It explores the unexpected loss of a loved one from different points of view, including story skirts, moccasins, tobacco bags and other artworks. The grieving artistic family left a tribute to their son.It stimulated me to talk with my adult son about the prospect of me dying before his mother. This felt important.

Chase Hand: Wonderful place to chill and get a view of amazing art that is lovingly curated

Isaac StClair: Come check it out!

Patricia Shelton: I enjoy going to the pow wow coffee grounds to drink coffee with my best friend, the staff is always very friendly and respectful and the food is always good!

Johnson Bergen: Fantastic art museum featuring Indigenous Peoples' art. Well curated exhibits sensitively displayed and explained.

Dyana DeCoteau-Dyess: The gallery is very organized and welcoming. The little cafe attached adds to the charm. Representation matters and the gallery does a fantastic job showcasing Indigenous artists and voices.

Natasha Weaver: love the ndn tacos! environment is wonderful!

Jacquelyn Saice: Love this place!

nabor osorno: Nice place if you look yo see some gallery

Douglas Flanders & Associates: what do users think?

Heidi Howell: The oldest and most respected gallery in Minneapolis-- It has an absolutely great selection and variety of art from realism to modernism to post- modernism, in a wide range of price points. He shows local artists as well as national and international artists -- painting, prints, photography, and sculpture. The gallery assistants are very knowledgeable and helpful -- and very nice! The owner, Doug, is a Minnesota treasure, having been deeply involved in the visual arts for the last 50 years. He believes in and loves art-- not just in it for the money--and he has a delightful, wonderful dog named Izzy, who will greet you with much dog love at the door.

M B: I had a great experience with Douglas Flanders & Associates. I’d purchased a piece of art overseas, and after it arrived in Minneapolis I had Doug Flanders appraise it. A couple of years later it was lost/stolen during a cross-country move. Because of Doug’s appraisal, my insurance company reimbursed me for the loss at full replacement cost.

Nicola Peterson: art interesting and fun. When I’ve been ready to purchase a piece, Doug has an exceptional eye

David Duvall: Flanders Gallery has a friendly and informative staff. You can view old masters, contemporary classics, and regional artists. This is time well spent for an outing in the city!

John Seymour-Anderson: and that I would consider living with, which I consider a significant distinction. It’s not because they’re well crafted decorative works. They are well crafted, but also have a depth

Maurice James DM: I loved the show of Stanley Boxer and Joyce Weinstein. My Mom Dorothy Berenson Blau handled both Boxer and Weinstein in her Bal Harbour, Florida gallery of 52 years, I missed seeing the canvases in her gallery and now got to view them at Flanders. The sensitive textures and depth and thick media lets your mind wander. I LOVED THE SHOW. Thank You, Jim Berenson Hopkins, Minnesota

Dow Art Gallery and Picture Framing: what do users think?

Kris Jacobson: Great gallery owner, very knowledgeable artist himself. Beautiful work. Enjoyed this visit, will be sure to go again!

Anna Scholin: Fabulous gallery of local artists! Particularly good for representational oil paintings. Friendly owner and surprisingly large space. Great place to drop in and browse!

G Timmreck: Great variety of art. Something for everyone.

steve simmer: A large gallery with a variety of art and artists. Framing service on-site is a plus.

Raven Pluim: Pictured is the artwork I purchased, I forgot to ask if I was allowed to take pictures in the gallery before I went in. When I return, I shall ask if pictures are allowed, and if I am given the go ahead, I will post newer pictures. My first art gallery I've ever visited. The owner was nice and respectful, and curated a diverse of art styles for the enjoyment of patrons. Not only this, but prints and greeting card versions of artwork was provided at a price patrons of lesser economic standing could afford. The art here really spoke to me, Marty Maehr's artwork was something I liked the most. Unfortunately, Maehr's work was out of my means to purchase, but I'll tell you it has the simplicity of mosaics from before the Renaissance, but had color blending that was many levels beyond simply eye popping. I recommend this establishment highly. Mr. Dow's art has set a high bar for future art galleries for me.

A P: This is a beautiful gallery that showcases many rotating Minnesota artists: whether the medium is photography, sculptures, or paintings. The owner's mission is to showcase working artists in his beautiful gallery where the artists get support to display their work to the public and where they are able to receive a living wage for their pieces. It is a true partnership between the gallery and the artists. I absolutely love this mission. Currently there is a Ukrainian artist who is one of the artists displaying their work there. Go buy some beautiful art and help artists make a living in what they love to do. There's really something for everyone at this gallery. Last but not least, they also do custom framing, which is absolutely the best! I just can't say enough good things about this place and its owner... he's an immigrant himself that moved with his family when he was a youngster and he is so incredibly humble and genuinely the nicest guy. Go check them out!

Robert Ramirez: I had spoken with Mr Greg Dow on the phone about a painting. You can hear the kindness and concern in his voice when I told him the story of how I came across the painting. He asked for an email of the painting and quickly replied with all the information I needed. Thank you Greg!

Sarah Ellis: Very friendly and does amazing work - the framing I've done here is beautiful and of wonderful quality.

Paul Kaefer: Excellent gallery with quite a few artists. Recommended.

Darren Cowl: Khahn is great and did a great job framing our artwork! Looks wonderful! AAA+++ job!

Laurel O'Gorman: Khanh Tran is indeed a gifted, personable, hard working problem solver, with great skill in his framing and impressive Art Center.

Emma Gabbert: nice!

Dave Casebolt: I can’t say enough good things about Dow Art Gallery and its proprietor, Khanh. The gallery itself is filled with a huge amount of very high quality work of many different styles, and the art framing services provided there are absolutely top-notch. I brought in 4 very different pieces, and we spent a good deal of thoughtful time selecting what we thought would be the best settings for them. I just picked everything up, and couldn’t be happier with the end product. You get what you pay for at this gallery, and Khanh Tran is absolutely outstanding and a joy to work with. Thanks, Khanh!

Nelli Nell: AWSOME!!

Gail Hanson: Kahn did a wonderful job of cleaning and reframing this antique oil painting. He is great to work with and has really creative ideas. I highly recommend Dow Art Gallery & Picture Framing.

Thank you all that invest in the time, effort and dedication to have this Gallery show and give those of us who live far enough away, that we can at least enjoy the pictures. I love some of the local artists. Thank you so much, Margaret

Grand Hill Gallery: what do users think?

Olivia Stoll: Fixed my thrift store picture frame quickly and for a good price. Will definitely come back!

Dayle Quigley: This framing shop and gallery sits right at the bottom of Ramsey Hill on Grand Ave. We had several pieces to frame. The owner has a ton of experience and helped us out immensely. Check that off our list.

Lyle Kuehn: Doug does superb work

Greg Finke: Doug, the owner, does an amazing job. And he is so very forthright throughout the whole creative process with insights and costs. I highly recommend him!

S: Very reasonable rates for top notch work! Our reframed antique watercolor looks so amazing!! We were worried about the fragile antique frame, but it seems like they made it more sturdy than before. So pleased. Can't recommend enough. There was a few week wait for it to be completed - they seem busy - but happy to wait 2-3 weeks for great work!!!

Laurie McCann Crowell: Such an amazing little shop. Great customer service and I love the open houses they have a few times a year. It is so fun to meet the different artists....I have bought several pieces over the last two years and couldn't love them more. If you need something framed, head on over to Grand Hill Gallery, they'll take good care of you.

John O'Sullivan: Nice selection

Michael Tierney: Truly excellent quality, and the owner will take the time with you to pick out exactly the right frame for your art. I won't ever put another piece of art, picture, or print in a cheap frame again. Grand Hill frames can change a room.

Will Matysik: Had a big jumping horse framed. The frame and matting gave it new life! Priced right, framed in a reasonable amount of time, and the quality of craft and care was unrivaled by any chain framing business. Museum quality framing done here!

Breanna Herzog: , Doug does not push any frame, mat or his vision on you; rather, he lets you talk about the piece and grab any samples you might want to see. If you don't want a mat then he is not going to roll his eyes or get upset. He wants to the art to look best and be your style. In addition, the turn around time is amazing. Finally, the work is exceptional. I only get my framing done at Grand Hill Gallery now. It is a treat to go into the nice little gallery and have Doug's smiling face there every time!

Robert Dubuc: Wonderful Art gallery /frame shop. The owners name is Doug and he is an artist. He is very knowledgeable and willing to share it.At the moment their is a show featuring some very accomplished women artist. I highly recommend to view the show before it is gone.

Roberta Hoffman: Had a wonderful experience working with Doug and would recommend him for any project you have in mind ...I wish I could post a picture, but he used a shadow box with silk lining to display a Tara bust from Nepal! The silk he chose matched the colors in the wood and the frame was similar to her necklace! Just gorgeous , Thanks!

Pamela McDonald: Doug Nielsen has been in business for decades! His passion for fine art comes through in his meticulous handling of all projects. He can do anything from frame and painting conservation to graduation photo framing. His eye for art is very helpful for guiding you to the perfect frame for your piece! The focus of the gallery is primarily Plein Air Painting, where artists paint most of the art outdoors, on site. He features the area's premier painters including Joshua Cunningham, Richard Abraham & Neil Sherman. He also has some nice bronzes and regularly comes across some wonderful classic lithographs or paintings from all over the globe. This gem of a gallery/frame shop is a small business, locally owned, and lovingly cared for by the owner, who gives expert guidance and great prices to all of his clients. And there's a cool huge brushed metallic magnetic wall the art gets hung on!
