Rooftop at Hewing Hotel: what do users think?

Sajad Raeisi: Probably the top of upscale night life experience in Minneapolis. Great views of downtown and nice lounge area. If weather is warm you can enjoy sitting outside. Cocktail are a bit pricy but I understand the reasoning behind it. You will meet some interesting people there for sure. I haven't had food there so I can't say anything about food quality. Overall, great atmosphere Oh I forgot to say that the hot tub is next door and you can see people enjoying the hot tub from the lounge/bar area and some come to the bar to get a drink with their robes!

Philip Gissen: Returned to the Hewing Bar & Lounge on our current trip to Minneapolis. It is a fantastic bar, well worth the expense. Josh was my mixologist on this visit, and he is truly a chemist, listening to my request to a Mezcal forward Old Fashioned. It was wonderful. Hewing is one of the best bars in Minneapolis. Ignore that it’s a hotel bar because the Hewing is a Minneapolis one off.

Soleil Rintoul: Beautiful view, excellent atmosphere and staff. I'm looking forward to trying the sauna and pool.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious and easy to navigate with a wheelchair.

Rohit Kumar: Prices are high but view is exceptionally good

Betty Danger's Country Club: what do users think?

M R: Went before the ownership change, quirky and fun place for a date night.

Kim Wolfe: Two thumbs up for this place. Celebrated a family member birthday and what a treat it was. Relaxing, fun atmosphere. Unique opportunity to ride a Ferris wheel while dining. This place is the cherry on top for all your celebrating needs. Nice employees. Update: This place is now closed!

Elizabeth Jarrard: . And the staff is so lovely.

Collin M: This place is so cute! The bartender was so kind and wonderful too! More people need to go here.

Jess S: I hope this doesn't stay closed forever. I love this place.

Nicole Taylor: Fun mini golf

Cherelle Parker: Fun little spot. Burgers were so good. Nicely flavored.Parking: Lots of free parking.

Daniel Lopez: Neat hangout spot, very unusual location for a Ferris wheel but we’re here for it! At the very top you can see the Minneapolis skyline far in the distance. They also have a 9-hole mini golf course while you enjoy your drink or hang with friends. Both of these activities need tickets which you can purchase at the bar. Seems like a really cool spot to hang out with friends for some drinks.

moto-i: what do users think?

Yesenia Moran: Recommended dishes Rangoons

Gregory Miller: Best JFC in town

Danielle M: Dim lighting, comfortable seating with many options, and attentive service. They offer a decent spread of cocktail/mocktail style beverages - they were a wee bit on the pricey side for quality, so stuck to one. What makes this place shine is their BUNS. Fluffy, flavorful, I dang near shed a tear. Someone is putting love into them I just know it!My drunken noodles were also flavorful, veggie packed, but a bit on the oily side. I will still be going back.Amazing waitstaff. So personable, welcoming and interesting. Elinor is a star.Lot of options for vegetarian and vegans as well.Vegetarian options: Tofu and mock duck are available proteins. Ask for no fish sauce and you’re golden!

Noah Reed: After having some great authentic ramen in the cities, I wanted to try a more modern take on the classic dish. Decided to give moto-i a shot, and they did not disappoint!First off, it has to be said - the atmosphere is incredible. The place is clean, cool, and stylistic. It’s dimly lit, and they aren’t afraid to show off their love of Sumo. This love isn’t superficial - they often have matches on several of the many TVs around the space, and they even run a fantasy Sumo league. This is just a killer place to hang out, even without their food. The food is where they really shine though. I’m from Kansas, and we love our BBQ - when I say this is the best pork I’ve had in the Twin Cities, I’m not joking. The ramen as a whole is great, though definitely more modern than authentic in style. The same pork from the ramen is used in their outstanding pork buns, which is great. The menu is more focused than a typical ramen restaurant, but everything is delicious.Overall I would definitely recommend moto-i for some killer pork, modern ramen, and a cool place to hang out.

Niki Bee: Quick pop in while visiting the city for the day! Nice ambiance! Fast service & good food! Hipster Asian style eatery with some traditional and non traditional dishes! Would visit againParking: Metered street parking

David Ly: Never had a bad experience here. I love the atmosphere and the food, and the staff have always been friendlyVegetarian options: A good portion of the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian, but be sure to ask for it from your server.

Miranda Montes: . We sat and the bar. The bartender was super knowledgeable about both. They also gave us lots of info about special events they run since we are new to the area and are planning on coming back. We got the house made pickles and fries as a starter, vegan and classic ramen for dinner. Everything was so good and fresh! The vegan ramen was the best veg ramen I have ever had, super rich and flavorful. Love this spot!Vegetarian options: The vegan ramen was some of the best I have ever had! They have tons of vegetarian options and several vegan ones, plus delicious drinks. If you are veg put this place on your list!

Jose Quintana. .: and substituted the club soda for Sprite. It was delicious. I tasted Sake for the first time, and it was surprisingly good. A cross between a semi sweet white wine and peach schnapps but with no peach, it'll make sense when you try it. It was the first one on top of their sake menu. I also had their local cola, which reminded me of RC cola. I enjoyed it. For apps, we ordered the Rangoons, which, although they have no Crab, were deliciously filled and the pork belly pieces, which were juicy and crispy. We also had the pork belly and crispy chicken steamed buns. Each sauce complements the protein very well. Again, they were delicious. All 4 of us had the classic ramen. It was quite tasty and served very hot. We really enjoyed this place, and although we will return 10/10 for the great food, the experience wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for our server Tyler! From greeting and welcoming us to explaining the menu and giving us some suggestions, to refilling my drink multiple times just before it ended Tyler is the type of server and person that genuinely likes what he does, and does it very ,very well, that, definitely tied the whole experience while elevating it. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Kaitlyn Steffenhagen: steam buns are amazing!!

Café and Bar Lurcat: what do users think?

Heather Kaiser: This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.

Joan L: was in front of our order, so she offered us a side dish to accompany our main meals and we added the sweet potatoes.🐓 The main entrées were well done — chicken was beautifully carved and presented. The skin was tasty. The black rice and sauce were nice compliments to the meat.🐖 The pork chop was a beautiful, thick cut of meat. We ordered it medium and it may have been ever so slightly cooked a little under medium. Seasoning was perfect and had a nice, tart flavor coming through with the sauerkraut.🍠 🌟 WOW! 🤩 The sweet potatoes were the star of the evening! Sweet, savory, bright and fresh with lemon, crispy skins… just wow! Order the sweet potatoes!!🍰 For dessert, we ordered the chocolate panna cotta and olive oil cake. Both were absolutely stunning and would fit right in at any patisserie! Excellent flavors, textures, and presentation! Faultless!I’ll definitely be coming back!

Tattersall Distilling: what do users think?

Linda McLoon: It is interesting how often we forget the tried and true and rush to the new. The Tattersall distillery was forced by antiquated Minnesota liquor laws to move to Wisconsin if they wanted to increase production in their distillery. However, their tasting room in the Thorpe building in Northeast Minneapolis is still open. Instead of waiting hours at the "hot" new places, come on back to Tattersall. It was started in 2015, and has been going strong since then.We made reservations, but even on Saturday night we did not need them. We sat at the bar as usual, and the two bartenders were awesome. They were extremely knowledgeable about all the various spirits made by Tattersall, and we had little tastes of some of the new items as we ordered.I did a flight of their two new gins and their absinthe. I liked them a lot. One gin gets a two week aging in chardonnay barrels. This takes the hotness out of their original gin in a very nice way. It doesn't leave it oaky. Apparently it has won a number of awards in various competitions. The Rosso gin is new, and it is very good! Apparently they added rose petals and berries to their mix of botanicals. It is a very nice gin.We tried two cocktails. They change their cocktail menu every 3 months, so it is good to stop in and have a look. My husband had the Houndstooth, which is rye, amaro, meadowsweet, and black strap bitters. We saw a lot of them heading out to other customers. Their take on a classic gin-based negroni was really good. Their orange bitter liqueur, their amaro, and their sour cherry liqueurs gave it a cherry back note that was quite interesting. They only serve popcorn, pretzels, and beef jerky, but there was a pop up Asian restaurant in the Thorpe building if you wanted to get food. They also have a room where you can buy their spirits. Nice!At $12 and $13 for most drinks, it is also more affordable than the newer glitzy places. It was a super relaxing place for a cocktail. And I love not having to drive around in search of parking!

Ian Boje: Whatever you want to drink, Anna will make it happen. Awesome place.

Eric Schoenecker: Very impressed with the drinks, service, and staff. Some of the best bartenders I have come across. Their drinks are slightly on the pricy side. The parking lot also requires a bit of work. Overall great experience.Service: 5/5 …

Dana Cimbalnik: Great drinks!

Andrea Kiepe: This is more of an Italian-American place, so I would not recommend pasta here unless you want to have essentially an upscale version of Olive Garden. But many people are happy with that and the rooftop deck is gorgeous. I had a great cheeseburger and glass of wine and enjoyed myself. Service is friendly and helpful.

Jasmine Mazariegos: I amored it

CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar (LaSalle Plaza - Minneapolis): what do users think?

Maddie Hasiewicz: Fantastic cocktails! The cucumber Martini and blood orange margarita were so good. Fresh ingredients and well balanced! I ordered the mexican poke bowl for dinner and the fish was very fresh! Very tasty and great portion.Vegetarian options: A whole page dedicated to meat free options!

John Doe: We sat down for dinner at 5:00. There were about 10 people in the restaurant. When we were finished with our meal, the restaurant was entirely filled. Now we know why. Our dinner was terrific. The food was great and our server, Keegan, was wonderful. He checked in on us through out the course of our meal. Many restaurants have great food, but it’s people like Keegan that keep people coming back.

Patrick Thompson: First time here and a great experience! Super cool place, awesome decor and environment. Overall felt very upscale but not pretentious, service was fantastic by all. Everyone was very courteous and polite, very attentive. Drink and food times were quite quick.Food was delicious, had Chicken and Avocado Eggrolls for an appetizer, steak and walleye entrees then a cookies and cream cake for dessert. Steaks were cooked just right, meal additions were handled accurately, everything was delicious, plus portion sizes did not lack, we all happily struggled to finish our plates. They surprised our daughter with a candle for fun which she was sooo excited about.

sean spence: Awesome burgers

Chelsea K: that are both dog friendly. Good food, top notch service, great cocktails. The chicken and wild rice pot pie was a novel, yet obvious take on an old favorite. Of course those flavors go together. Can't believe it's not more common, but that's what's great about this place, they take familiar dishes and class them up. Really loved their cocktail options too. Will have to go back and try more because I was between a couple options. The blackberry sour was refreshing and had a hint of sweet to balance the tartness. Service was top notch, probably the best you'll get anywhere. Will definitely be back.Parking: There's a large parking lot that wraps around the restaurant. The back patio is in the parking lot. There's also street parking all around the lot, so if you can't find a spot in the lot, there are other options.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot more options for kids than on a standard kids menu and they had whole milk for littles. Their highchairs are better than most too with all the straps, etc. They give you crayons and the kids menu can be drawn on. Servers were good about putting food and drinks out of reach of babies and warning you about hot things. If you're looking for a family friendly meal out, this place has you covered.

Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge: what do users think?

Jay Shen: . And decorations were also in alignment with its tiki theme. The pizzas were pretty good as well! They were relatively smaller in portion but tasted good. I wouldn't consider food as a review priority for this place because it is mostly famous for its drinks and atmosphere, and both are nothing short of great!I will miss all the memories from this place as it has allowed me to socialize with others in relaxing manners on summer days.

K. Tsoutsoulis: This was a unique bar & foods tiki bar experience.A decent selection of cocktails, with mythologies for each drink, and exactly 1 NA cocktail, but it was a good one.As for food they were complimenting the drink, and not meant to be full meals. The tots, with special dip were pretty good, the sliders were tasty, and had flavour. If you came here in the summer, you had a wait for anything, which is just had to be accepted, the wait staff were always doing the best they could, and there were a lot of tables.Outside in the summer & fall was where it was at, even if you didn't get too much of a view of the river. The atmosphere was what it was all about.Sad to see this go, among unique, quirky, and fun places to go.

Dawn Hilgers: Wish they weren't selling the restaurant. But where can we buy the tiki decorations from Suzi's? When's the auction.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Prim Ilagan: Psycho suzi is an okay Tiki Bar, by default since it’s one of the limited Tiki Bars in MN. It has a large nice patio along the river for warm nights. Inside the decor is 70s tiki with bamboo and palm top to bottom. The carpet is neat- printed wood planks. There’s a sizable drink menu but is not served in Tiki Mugs unless you decide to purchase the mug. We had pizza, it was okay- nothing special. Drinks are below average. Ambiance is fun but not much else going on there.

The Freehouse: what do users think?

Emily Braverman: cool presentation but weird taste. They clearly have their own twist on the classic soup and it doesn’t work well, in my opinion. Can’t recommend.Parking: Minneapolis so all paid parking, meter police were everywhere.Kid-friendliness: They had kids meals and mickey mouse pancakes

Fey Fey: Yum yum yum. Love the outdoor seating.

Ania Williams: This was my second visit after almost 3 years and I was pleasantly surprised. Tuna appetizer was fresh. I would tone down the mayo in the Wasabi aoli but it was ok. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic and the roasted chicken was amazing. Probably the most tender I've ever tasted. I was not impressed with the salad. The dressing was pretty bland. Overall. Pretty good food.

Monica Sherman: BRING BACK THE CHILEQUILES!!I LOVED this dish, although I did sub rotisserie chicken for the chorizo. But now it's off the regular menu and I WANT IT BAAAACK!!!Pretty please give Everyone a chance to at least try it my modified way OR a suggestion...AT LEAST allow us to order it OFF the SECRET unprinted MENU!!!!!!!????

Shaun Cooper: Great restaurant/brewery in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Parking can be a little difficult to come by, but usually you can find a meter on Washington Ave. Food is fast and delicious, as well as the beer and cocktails. We like the breakfast options and usually have a hard time deciding since there are so many good choices. It was busy on the Sunday morning that we were there so the wait staff took a little longer than was expected.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsKid-friendliness: Definitely a place you can bring the kids to.

Robert Lesan: the food & atmosphere are amazing. the staff & owners treat you like family. such a wonderful space with downtown view & access. Would eat here again & again!

Emma Engebretson: Service here is amazing!! Both good an drinks were great. Small cocktail menu but good for a brewery. I would highly recommend the pizzas for food. For drinks the citra-shandy is great.

Franklin Deaner-Rogers: Good experience! Clean interior, great service, and decent food!!Pizza was a bit overcooked, but flavor was definitely there!

Arthur Molines: Great local brewery! The beers were all excellent! Highly recommend the coffee kolsh, so delicious. The food was alright. The service was good.

Alex Torres: Definitely try the Crab Rangoon Pizza and the Devils on Horseback appetizer.

Stephanie Palmer: Had the best experience here! Had a great flight of beer, the crab Rangoon pizza, and Mac n cheese bites. Everything tasted so good. And our server Mike was so attentive and wonderful. They made this experience even better!

Emily Forster: We ate here for a Sunday brunch and I got the vegetari calzone. They had delicious vegetarian options like the Argentinian vegetarian pizza and I would definitely come back!

Karly H (Exploring the lakes!): The pretzel were pretty good and they had some good variety in beer and I enjoyed their seltzer.

Ephraim Mau: LOVED IT

Brant Voight: A couple of buddies and I stopped into Day block during our trip to Minneapolis for the weekend, I do have to say, so far it has been the best place to grab drinks and well as a bite to eat, outstanding environment, and very helpful and welcoming staff for out of towners, will make this place a sure stop each trip up north!

Spoon and Stable: what do users think?

Robyn: One of the best restaurants Ive tried in Minneapolis! The menu might seem pretty ordinary but everything was very goodRecommended dishes Dry-Aged Duck Breast …

Jonathan Robinson: Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated! Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.

Raquel Tabor: Recommended dishes Pot Roast

Akshaya Bhagavathula: My recent dinner at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis was an experience that truly stood out in my culinary adventures. This beautifully restored horse stable turned restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu, curated by Chef Gavin Kaysen, is a testament to his expertise and commitment to showcasing the best of Midwest ingredients with a French twist. We started with the foie gras terrine, which was rich and perfectly balanced, and it became an instant favorite at our table. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side that complemented the duck without overshadowing it.What really made our meal unforgettable was not just the food but the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. They recommended excellent wine pairings that elevated our dining experience. The dessert rounded off the evening on a high note, with creative and delightful options that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine made Spoon and Stable a dining destination that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out, this restaurant promises an evening that’s both enchanting and satisfying.

The seating is ample and partially covered, the view of the lake is excellent, and you didn't have to wait long for your food. The Painted Turtle is a great addition to the food options associated with the lakes, and could easily rival Sea Salt as the superior option in 2024 when they have beer.Vegetarian options: Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Vegan optionsParking: Right next to the parking lot

Joel Abrahamson: if your dog is more of the explorer type who likes to search for new smells. Some amenities, like benches, kick balls, ball throwers, and communal water dishes — but bring your own water.Playground: NoneRestrooms: NoneDog-friendliness: It's a dog parkPicnic area: None

k e: Right in town and pretty clean, as far as I saw!

Rudy Nelson: This is one of our favorite dog parks to go to. It is a decent size maybe 1.5 acres with a lot of trees and shade. This park can get muddy if there is a lot of rain or snow melt but there is usually a thick layer of wood chips.Bring water! There is no convenient water source. There is a spigot near the river side gate but it is not always on.This park is relatively busy and you can almost always find at least one other dog there. I will warn though… there are quite a few of very strange and particular owners that frequent this park. I have seen multiple dog fights, untrained dogs, and owners here, but we usually just leave if things get weird.

Ross Edgemon: Small, but clean.

Tanya Jean: Lovely space for dogs, there was 5-8 dogs while we were there. Well kept. Easy access. Definitely recommend and plenty of places to sit. And trash cans.

Patricia Johnson-Castle: There is no small dog section, just one big area. Small part has trees, mostly woodchips. Busy first thing weekday mornings and after work. Reliable lunch time crowd as well.Playground: There is a park for kids nearby but not within sight of the park.Restrooms: There are no restrooms. The Seward coop around the corner has.Picnic area: There are two picnic tables and two benches spread around the park

Jayda Anderson: Dog-friendliness: can be really hit or miss, first time there a small altercation broke out but everyone involved left the park afterwards which is standard procedure

Vince: Big park, lots of room to run. Hasn't been many dogs there the 2 times I've been there.Picnic area: A couple picnic tables.

Rachel Gall: Street parking available close to both entrances. Nice shady, wooded area for the pups to adventure in. Big woodchip knoll to throw a ball. Not a lot of dogs, very mellow.

L Kump: Natural, Roomy areaAway from city distraction

Paige: Nice place to let your dog run around with easy street parking nearby
