FRGMNT Coffee: what do users think?

Jasmine Goldenstein: Very large building and very busy. Sometimes people come in with their well behaved dogs and i love it! I wasn't a big fan of what I ordered but I tried something new. Coffee itself was nice. Outside of the building is a bar that has outdoor games that some people were playing which is a cool feature. There isn't really any legit outdoor seating but plenty of spots to sit along the plants and a few spots if you can snag one. Parking was in fact easy

Raquel: Coffee is amazing! Creative and rotating latte selections.

Will DeGraw: A FRESH TAKE AND NEEDED ATMOSPHEREThis might the only coffee shop with proper customer service. I say that regrettably, but I have been well over 20x and never had any employee not be kind & welcoming. All of the coffee I have had has been great, but snagging a Cardigan donut along with it is what compliments the customer service best.

Laurisa Donte: Okay FRGMNT...I see you. I had my meeting here this week, and I Yassss. I live 4 minutes away. How did I not know. It's the open floor concept for me.My Maple Latte...on point. Next time I will get it in one of thise cute cups. The butter Croissant y'alllllllll!!!I'll be back.

Oscar Orlando Hendrix Escalante: Very nice coffee shop!

Jorge: Love this place, great espresso and espresso based drinks. The neighborhood feels like it’s attempting to be cosmopolitan and consequently the businesses here. I simply want a coffee. That’s the only small minor annoyance. Outside of that this place is amazing. Check out their other locations too.Service: 5/5 …

Jenine Kopenski: too! Loved the fireplace and lots of open space!Got the Cacao Five Spice. Not spicy and the spices weren’t very potent. But a very good latte!Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Lake and Bryant Cafe: what do users think?

Corey Robertson: This restaurant came highly recommended by the owner Sanjeev whom I work with. Not only are he and his wife lovely people but his restaurant was indeed a nice surprise with a unique and delicious new spin for lunch and brunch and breakfast. My friend and I thought it was very impressive and will definitely go back! Bravo.

Kelly Cory: Outstanding! We stumbled into this doing a google search and it’s a total win. The staff helped us learn about their menu and made recommendations on our needs. Everything was beautiful and tasted great. This is a must stop!

Shelby Rodeman: Ordered the spicy breakfast noodles, masala tofu scramble, golden milk latte, and a black americano… you can tell everything is quality/ authentic! I am a sucker for good spots for food and coffee and they hit the mark on everything… you can tell the staff truly love what they do and what they make. Every dish seems like it’s made with care! 10/10 Lake and Bryant 👏🏼Vegetarian options: Tofu veggies noodles ectDietary restrictions: Lots of options for vegetarians… also got the gluten free bread which was actually quality and delicious, my boyfriend loved it too!

Tamsen G.: Lots of neighborhood flare. I asked the barista what to get and she said an iced miel, not normally my favorite but theirs doesn't just have cinnamon and honey but also nutmeg. Definitely delicious. I would go again.Service: 5/5 …

Nazly Elemary: I loved the simplicity of the place The coffee is great They have delicious cheese pastries

Drake Friesen: Awesome dog friendly coffee shop!

Haley O'Neill: . Overall a favorite, highly recommended coffee shop.

Allison Skluzacek: I've been driving by this place on the way to work forever, finally stopped in. Cool atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff. Best Americano I've had hands down. It had that wonderful coffee bite and the heavy cream didn't cover it up at all. A perfect blend of smoky creamy caramel coffee. Reminded me of homemade caramels. I really appreciated the advice on it and will definitely be returning!

Black Walnut Bakery: what do users think?

Will DeGraw: GIVE ME THIS BREAKFAST SANDWICH OVER & OVER AGAIN.Black Walnut is in a seemingly residential area of the southside of Hennepin [Uptown], but gets packed inside. it's a lovely place to sit down, meet friends, and just hang out. i don' think i would recommend it as a place work out of, but it's got a charm to it.would def go back again & again.

Katie Pope: kouign amann, and almond poppy citrus bread. It gets crowded on the weekends but if you can snag a seat inside or on the patio, the atmosphere is really nice. Walk right over to the lake if you’d rather take your food to go!I even ordered my wedding cake from Black Walnut! The Cassis Vanilla Bavarian makes for a perfect cutting cake and is beautiful and delicious.

Kamryn Grimes: The atmosphere was nice. I feel like it's more of a place to meet people rather than to work as it gets quite loud. I visited on a late Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. I'm giving the "food" 3 stars because the "hot" coffee flight I ordered was not hot. Three were warm and one was cold. It's definitely been my least favorite coffee flight experience so far and it's disappointing because that's the whole reason I wanted to visit.

Groom Room: Staff was completely wonderful and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this coffee, it was to die for!!!Best cup of coffee I've ever had!!

A H: This place was very cool! I loved how modern and clean it felt and the drinks were delicious. I tried their Fox in the Woods latte with oatmilk and it was super yummy. I returned the next day and tried their watermelon refresher and that was also a win.

Samuel Schneider: Great coffe/tea drinks! They always add a special design on top of the drinks when you get them! Great staff as well!

Jordan Castillo: The vibes are incredible. I love their tea, too! It's such a beautiful place to get work done. Highly recommend! Also super close to a bunch of restaurants and the lakes.

Chris Engelmann: Had the Fox in the Woods Latte- fantastic.

Emily Miranda: The service is impeccable, with a staff that goes above and beyond to make every visitor feel like a cherished guest. The young guy on the morning shift had a great knowledge of the menu, coupled with genuine enthusiasm, adds an extra layer of warmth to the overall dining experience. The attention to detail in both service and presentation reflects the cafe's commitment to providing a memorable and enjoyable time for all patrons.

Kaitlyn Dahlberg: they were closed and im so sad!! 💔💔💔

Matt Carlson: Friendly, fast service.I'm more of a real milk person and the place was entirely vegan. The creme brulee boba duck actually used a torch to finish.Vegetarian options: Entirely vegan

Evelyn Matei: Amazing!! I never got to have a Vietnamese iced coffee before going vegan, and all of the vegan ones I've had since have never matched up to my idea of it. But this place finally did!! The creaminess of the coffee was insanely good, and it was perfectly sweet while still having a strong coffee taste. And the waffle sticks...I could've eaten like 3 orders of them. The mylk cloud it comes with is so yummy. Will definitely be coming back before I leave for more coffee and boba, and to have some more waffles!! Thank you!

Amy G: Great food and pretty good prices, the waffle sticks had some fun flavors like "moms favorite cereal" or a cinnamon sugar flavor. The boba was good, the Vietnamese coffee was very creamy despite being all vegan. However while the place was nicely decorated towards the front the back booths felt a bit plain compared to the front so definitely grab a window seat if you can. Overall though I would visit again if I travel back to MinneapolisVegetarian options: All of the menu is fully vegan and cruelty freeDietary restrictions: "Mylk" or their sort of butter substitute and all boba drinks have no milk and therefore no lactose

Coffee and Tea Limited: what do users think?

Scott Fisher: This is the number one place to go to get beans whether you want them whole or ground. They really know what they're doing. It's not a place you go to sit down. This is a place to buy beans get a cup of coffee and continue wandering the area. Wonderful selection of coffees and wonderful selection of tea. If you're looking for the quality and price of a can of coffee don't go here. A pound here starts at about 19 or $20.

Smash Bridges: Getting here with the construction all around was a bit of nightmare fuel. However, James was such a delight that I could feel my blood pressure lower as we chatted with friendly banter. He suggested a coffee, as they have excellent coffee. I said I prefer chai....and he had just the thing! Extra chai, just the way I like it. It was divine! Worth the hassle and white knuckles to get there. Though I'll probably try not to go again while the roads are mostly impossible....maybe.

Joshua Squires: . It's crammed full of boxes of tea and coffee. This isn't a place to come quietly peruse, it's a place to come and wonder aloud about a particular coffee or tea, inviting the conversation of the wonderful team behind the counter. Come ready to converse and you will be rewarded. What about the coffee and tea?First, real tea. None of the overwrought dried fruit salads or sugared madness many teas have become. While there are a few flavored teas, you'll find mostly classics like puh-erh, gunpowder, genmaicha, lapsang suchong and the like. The coffee will take you back to the early 90s where dark roasts thrived. The varietals available are stunning. Coffees from many places rarely seen in the mainstream and even niche coffee markets. When's the last time you saw Cameroon or Sulawesi on a shelf? And the espresso is especially great. A very European style, particularly the espresso noce, which was very much like drinking espresso in Naples.Definitely recommend stopping by.

Charlie McAwesome: Easily the best coffee and tea purveyors in the Midwest. They are incredibly knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and incredibly unpretentious. They are happy to answer questions, and every recommendation they have given me over the years has been fantastic.Truly a treasure of the Twin Cities. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

BrookeMagic: Just went here 10 minutes ago, I love this place so much. Their coffee is so good and the people in there are so nice. I also like that it's not really a sit down place so it's not loud, just warm and peaceful. The people in there are very kind and the coffee is fresh, not pre-packaged (: fancy

Eric: The best selection of coffee in the city. They are ina league of their own! Always enjoy chatting them up when I am there

Alec Becker: Just got my first 1/2 pound of beans and I’ll surely be returning. Beautifully roasted, fresh beans. Made AMAZING coffee; it’s worth the price.

Hunter Robarge: Super helpful and intelligent

Jim Cone: They roast daily an. Incredible variety

James Bjorvik: 100% the best coffee in the Twin Cities. Over and over again I will continue to be satisfied.

Eponine E: My first job was working for Mr. Cone a thousand years ago. I learned so much about coffee, tea, and how he chose top quality beans and leaves. His roasting process is second to none. Even my cheapskate parents switched to his coffees after I started working there until they could no longer get to his store. I make a trek to Linden Hills as often as I can for the best.

Taylor Bauer: By far the best place in the cities to get your fresh coffee & tea. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, and fun to be around! There's coffee beans you can get here that you can't get anywhere else in the area. Always fresh and can be ground any way you need!! They also have coffee & tea accessories, like pour overs, steepers, filters, etc.

Cafe Ceres: what do users think?

Sarah: So yummy!! Plus the best spiced vanilla latte around!

Luke Dewall: Cool place, good vibes, okay service. Living in the North Loop I have the luxury of having amazing cafes to benchmark them against. Food was great, don’t get me wrong. But prices are extremely high compared to higher caliber food in the North Loop. $5.75 for just a croissant? $15 for a croissant with prosciutto and cheese? You can get the best ham and cheese croissant in the city at Bellecor in the north loop for $6 and the best breakfast sandwich in the state for $15 there as well. Don’t want to distract from how great our food was here, but won’t be back given the value. We spent over $50 for a breakfast sandwich, slice of banana bread, a prosciutto croissant, an Americano and a chai tea latte… that’s a lot. Saw a couple come in, look at the menu and then turn around and walk a block down to Turtle Bread instead.

Nick G: If you want any pastries, you've gotta go early, they are gone by 10am

Kate Spoelstra: The coffee and drink options are delightful, along with the owners and baristas. I so much enjoy coming here and supporting small businesses that are so vital to my neighborhood. The chai espresso latte is perfection!

Arianna Errico: Mapps goes beyond good coffee and is truly ran by a family that cares about their customers. As I worked on a community mural across the street on the hottest days of the year mapps donated waters and coffee when I was working on those days, that is a true definition of supporting people In the community. I can grab coffee conveniently anywhere but I know when I go to mapps that my overall experience will be filled with warmth, smiles and authentic interactions! Please stop by and get to know the owners and try some great coffee! ☕️

Mary: The people who work here are SO NICE. And the coffee is great too. Prices maybe a little steep but happy to support a small business.

Evan Little: I stopped by the jewelry while I was waiting in line to renew my gun permit, best decision I've made in months.Get the number one on the croissant, one of the best and breakfast sandwiches I've ever had.Tell em Evan sent ya.

Griffin Foley: Tried this spot for the first time today for a breakfast sandwich. What a fabulous hidden gem. It has a 70's 'soul food' vibe and its run by the owner, who had all kinds of questions for me! My name, how I heard about the place...What a character, she was great. In today's culture of smartphones and airpods, it was refreshing to have a genuine face-to-face customer experience. She absolutely made my day.

Jasmine McCall: Miss Lori I just wanted to let you know this sandwich was the best sandwich I ever had in my 32 years of existence my taste buds were doing the macarena the Cha Cha slide and the cupid shuffle all in one witha dab on top I will be coming back everybody I walked past on my way to the car I sent your way everybody that I see for the rest of the day I'm sending your way this sandwich is exquisite and I highly recommend if you're going to be downtown please please please go to the chewery in the government building

Drue Rynchek: but after today’s experience I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area again for work or an event. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fresh meal for breakfast or lunch!

Max Palmer: Unbeatable customer service and breakfast sandwiches!

Michael Johnson: Good Food. Get in early or call ahead if you want the delicious chicken and wild rice soup oh it taste like butter. Save some for me.

Beatrice Brown: This restaurant have the best food I ever tasted in along time!!!!💯good !!!! I WILL BE BACK!!!!!

Zach Kagan: Let’s say, hypothetically, I was a little hung over and downtown on a wintery week day and I had just a half an hour to try to stem the bleeding before the next onslaught of work meetings— then this sandwich would be mana from heaven. The number 1 rules, maybe a little too much spread but who am I kidding. It’s January and I just want to feel something. Very friendly staff, good prices, comfy vibes. Definitely worth a chew or two or five.

Patrick Fuentes: Best breakfast sandwich I've had

David Blake: I absolutely love this place, and today was only my first visit. It's bright, clean, and all the staff are incredibly friendly. Old Motown and Disco really compliment the 70's aesthetic behind the counter. I got the Number One, a magnificent combination of sweet and savory. I urge you to try this place!

Simon Anderson: Extremely good customer service, good food, and good prices! In the underground skyway between City Hall and Hennepin County building. Very limited seating, primarily take-away counter service.
