Gray Fox Coffee & Wine: what do users think?

Zakkery Brandt: and both were very good! The coffee was actually better and cheaper than most cafés in Minneapolis. It does have a very open environment, but I think it adds a unique atmosphere. Definitely would recommend for a quick stop before starting your day!

Benjamin: , then keep walking through the hallway area to the coffee shop. Needlessly hard to find based on Google's pin, but don't give up, it's worth it!

Joe C: Beautiful location and very convenient downtown. Tons of space to work and relatively quiet between rush hours. The problem is the coffee is not very good. I tried both the light roast and the dark roast and both are pretty bad coffees. The service was excellent however, as she switched it out for another drink, no questions asked. Went with the cold brew and it was fantastic.Stick with blended espresso drinks and I think you’ll be fine here. I’ll choose a place like this over Starbucks or Caribou any day.

Five Guys: what do users think?

Rebecca Marshall: This was my first time at this location, but I’ve been to five guys all over the south east. Shaggy prepared the best burgers and fries I’ve ever had from any five guys ever. All the toppings were evenly placed so I got a bit of everything in every bite. Patties were cooked to perfection, unlike a lot of FG burgers were they are so greasy the buns get soggy before you even unwrap and take your first bite. The fries were cooked to the perfect crisp and seasoned evenly. BEST FIVE GUYS

Nicollet Island Inn: what do users think?

Kevin Engelhardt: for the quiet, well-kept bar that is a hidden gem, and an occasional dinner/meal, when we lived in Northeast Minneapolis. So, when we were returning after a 4-year absence, we HAD to stay at the Nicollet Island Inn. We met friends and family for an afternoon and evening of dining, drinks and fun. We received superb service, unsurmountable attention to detail and delicious, splendid meals. Wow! NII sets the new gold standard for hotels and restaurants. All of us who travel regularly were amazed at the professionalism, genuine care and alacrity that we enjoyed with every encounter, every meal and every conversation. A huge thank you to Issa at the front desk, Brad in the NII bar, and Lillian and Rebecca in the restaurant. Everything was perfect. You impressed everyone who had the pleasure of interacting with each of you.Nearby activities: There is too much in the way of activities that are nearby. You are a 10 minute walk to downtown Minneapolis. You are in the famed Nordeast Minneapolis - just look up Nye's Bar or St. Anthony Main! Interstate 35W is 5 minutes away and the University is a quick drive or bike ride. Centrally located and yet quiet and tucked away from the wild life.Safety: The island is well protected and well-lit. The area is always busy with foot traffic and runners/joggers. The inn does a great job of securing the parking lot and managing their outdoor patio to buffer you from the passers-by. You forget you are in a metropolitan area. They still use physical room keys!! It is classic!Walkability: You can walk anywhere at anytime from the Nicollet Island Inn. The area is constantly "afoot" with St. Anthony Main at your doorstep and downtown Minneapolis just 10 minutes away. Everyone walks in this area no matter the season.Food & drinks: The menu at NII is amazing. Each menu offers great selections with a good range for all appetites. The staff does an excellent job of accommodating food allergen requirements without skipping a beat. The wine list is very well curated and the bartender has years of mixology experience to make you the perfect iteration of any alcoholic beverage. The NII should be at the top of you dining list when in Minneapolis!

Samadarshi Maity: Affordable place to stay in Minneapolis. Nice and friendly staff. Nice restaurant although it is not open on all days of the week. Very friendly staff of the restaurant.Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …

Cherrygal21 (Fruityyummy457): Good weekend romantical weekend stay and very good service, clean pretty rooms, breakfast and brunch very good service friendly. Close to the beautiful stone arch bridge walking for couples and everything. Near the downtown bars, restaurants night life, Target Field, concert areas, sports arenas, fancy hotels/bars/etc too. Good stay thank you 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟☮️👍😘Rooms: Rooms with river and inner city river views too

Steve Lilly: Returned to this spot for our Valentine Date night and was not disappointed. Great food and service with a calm ambience.Food & drinks: Quality food and friendly service.

andy kim: , salmon rolls, shrimp gyoza, edamame

Eddie Bolton: Very tasty meal that was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Once I figured out how to use the online order system my meal was out very quickly. Great place to get a meal in the airport if you want to sit down between flights but don’t have a ton of time. Music was a little on the loud side in the area but overall the facility was clean and well kept by staff. I ordered with double chicken and they did not disappoint on the portion size. The only downside was the price for a single entree, but that is somewhat expected from an airport meal.

Chicago's Taste Authority: what do users think?

Maryrose: My first time coming here. My friend bought me lunch and I was having a really hard time deciding, I have major issues with heartburn and reflux and I ended up forgetting gyro has lamb and it tends to be greasy, but I ate it anyways, BUT let me tell you-It was the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. Like, mind blown. It wasn't greasy, it was packed full of meat, toppings and FLAVOR! I couldn't finish it all. It was amazing and It didn't upset my stomach or trigger my heartburn.Keep at it! You guys are awesome! I will def be back!! Thank you so much!!Parking: Parked on side street with no issue. Wasn't busy at the time we came here.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, outside patio for them to sit and walk around.

Nancy Cerkvenik: This place has hotdogs that are LEAGUES better than anywhere else in town. And the staff? Yeah, they're not messing around. They get you the info you need and your order in the grill; with the most true hospitality. Also, I don't like potatoes. I need you to know that to understand how great these fries are. I eat like one McD's fry and I'm good. Mash potatoes, twice baked potatoes, potato salad... All trash. But these fries are OUTSTANDING! I ate half the basket w/thinking about it.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get into the restaurant, but you're going to need help with the door.

Jon Ruedy: Been eating here for over 10 years. Used to go to the west 7th location and now we travel to this one. Always good, can't go wrong with the Italian sausage.

Randy Navin Jr: Great neighborhood vibe with chicago sports theme inside. The only disappointment was that I’ve lived in the Cities for 9 years and just now discovered this gem! Skip Portillo’s and hit the CTA!Parking: Usually an easy spot on the front street or side street less than a block awayKid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly, beer and wine available, but this is not a dark bar type joint. Seen families enjoying the space

Caribou Coffee: what do users think?

Butterfly Oldham: . I usually get the matcha latte, chai with extra matcha, or the matcha with the bousted add on. The bousted is typically for cold drinks, but it works in hot drinks too. It does add an interesting flavor though.Dietary restrictions: There are many non dairy milk options!

The Buttered Tin- Northeast Minneapolis: what do users think?

Eric Davis: VISITED: 15MAR2024. First time dining here. Yes, first time on the Ides of March.Service, food, atmosphere were spectacular and exceeded my expectations!I was expecting this to be a takeout spot and was planning to get my order to-go. I was pleasantly surprised that they had nice, clean, ample dine-in seating. Ordering is at the counter then choose your seating.I visited for breakfast and had the smothered breakfast burrito. It tasted awesome! The homemade chorizo was a really good. I'd describe it as better than any chorizo I've had before. Also, I'm a sucker for tomatillo sauce. I didn't think I'd finish the burrito but it was so good I couldn't stop eating.I was surprised that there wasn't tipping so I attempted to leave one on my way out. I was informed that a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill to help provide a living wage to the staff. I can support that because everything was worth it!I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. There were bakery items on display but I didn't partake. The coffee was tasty, hot, and plentiful.

Shannon Mahedy: The buttered tin is one of my favorite brunch spots, but today was my first time at the Northeast location. I have to admit- the northeast location blows the lowertown location out of the water- not in terms of food quality, but in terms of environment and experience. The parking situation is SO much better in Northeast, and I was able to easily find free street parking. At the lowertown location, parking is always a challenge. I’m also used to waiting at least 45 minutes for a table. At the northeast location, we were able to immediately find a table. The layout is so open and large. The coffee was as delicious as usual, and the huevos rancheros benedict was as delicious as ever. However, I preferred the benedict when it had avocado slices instead of an avocado mash. Still a delicious dish though. The cinnamon roll was the star of the show. I’m not usually a big cinnamon bun person, but I saw this one when I was ordering, and I impulsively bought one. It was the right decision. This cinnamon role changed my opinion of cinnamon roles. It was moist, subtly sweet, gooey, and topped with a delightful cream cheese frosting. They also warmed it up for me. Obsessed.I’ll be back soon!!!
