I had purchased some artwork overseas and when I brought it home I it was a little damaged and I knew that I wouldn't be able to hang it using a cheap frame I found at a craft store. After a consultation with Caleb at CAFS he gave me some really great suggestions and allowed me to think about the look I was going for. I really appreciated his eye and attention to colors and styles. After making some choices I left feeling pretty good about the decisions made and looking forward to the finished product. I returned a little over a week later and was BLOWN AWAY by how awesome the work looked. The colors popped, frames were perfect, and the paintings looked better than what I imagined when I bought them. A more expensive place when compared to other framing locations but this is place is nothing less than exquisite. I will always go here!

But it is simply not complete until you walk through those doors.Some might call them framists, you could call them engineers, I want to call them artists. And I want to tip them cash every time I visit in the same way I want to tip a jazz pianist for playing Erroll Garner.I would say watching them work is the most enjoyable part of the process, but Mitrebox does you one better than spectatorship. They involve you. Your personal tastes and tendencies are activated, challenged, and appreciated. If you’re lucky, you may even get to stand on Sara’s stepstool for a better view.No matter what you plan to do with your piece or where you hope your piece takes you when it finally reaches your wall, you simply cannot get there without Mitrebox building the portal for you.

Stephen Lu: I showed up at the store on Monday, first time there, needing some needleworks framed by Friday. Michael helped me to look over framing and matting options, and then figured out the total cost after we decided on it. After getting the okay from my boss , I called the next morning to have Michael go ahead with the project, and it was all perfectly done by Thursday afternoon! Thank you for getting it done for us so quickly!
John Kitchener: Absolutely top notch service. Fair pricing, really excellent aesthetic judgement, and just lovely people to deal with. Apparently they've been at it in this location for over 30 years and I can see why they continue to be successful. If you have anything you need framed, you'll be in good hands here. I had three pieces framed and each one was nicer than the last.
