Art Materials LLC: what do users think?

Molly: was a rockstar. They also have such a great selection of supplies from beginner paints to the higher end stuff. Thank you so much again!

Bradley George: the store has a better energy now that the store is under new ownership

Tony Gawarecki: They framed my picture, and did an amazing job. Museum worthy. You won't find frames like this at a thrift store 😁 I'd highly recommend them to anybody trying to professionally frame prints, or paintings.

James Henderson: Very well stocked artist quality goodsFriendly staff. Lots of good things for kids who want to do drawings, etc.

kinderhood: Super cool. They changed it around from how I remembered it. I needed Acrylic Painting Supplies, and I kind of went crazy cause I didn't know what I needed, and I just kept adding things to my bunch. I went for brushes, they had so many I was overwhelmed. It took a bit and the people were patient with me taking my time. They have some nicely defined sections and areas and I was super happy when I got home cause I got exactly what I needed. The 2 people running the shop were very nice to me.

Lina Campbell: Best supply of golden and liqitex paints I've ever seen. So much good stuff here.

Mariska Coleman: but we didn't feel ushered out or anything!

Itoro Uwatt: Great shop with a wide variety of arts supplies. The staff I met at the front desk was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I will definitely visit, again.

Lounette Loubser: Well stocked art store. I mainly went for canvas and paint but they cover other mediums too. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I got the impression they might order what you need if they dont have it, but i didnt request.

SL K: It got what we needed.

Jenny Solem: I'm in love with this store. It's very expansive inside, and has an incredible variety of supplies/mediums. They also carry items I've never seen in chain stores, including art specific ones. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and competetive with what you may see elsewhere.

Color Space Art and Imaging: what do users think?

Gary Arndt: Color Space Art and Imaging have always done fantastic job with my artwork. Always helpful and go out of their way! Very friendly staff!

Ty & Cassie Nosser: We had a great experience with Ben at Color Space - we had a big project with a quick turn around time, and they made it work no problem. The prints were stunning quality and the service was great! Would highly recommend.

jack ketchum: Great service. In my experience, Ben and team made it fast and simple for me. The reproductions turned out really well. They looked like the original. In other words, my reproductions looked like charcoal drawings. Will recommend.

MITCHELL BROWN: I went in thinking it was more of a quick-stop print shop, like FedEx or something. I was embarrassed to find it's a legit print studio for extremely high-quality art prints. They have huge, beautiful examples hanging all over their walls with absolute clarity and perfect color science. I had come to print a home-made poster of my office hours that I designed with Adobe Spark, but the staff was friendly and patient with me, printing off the best office poster I've ever seen lol. They are not only professionals, but also decent human beings. I am absolutely returning in the near future to have them do my large photo prints.

Blaine Garrett: Positive:Professionalism,QualityI really enjoyed my experience working with Colorspace. The quality of work was amazing and they were very accommodating to my needs. Looking forward to working with them again for my next project.

Abby Knoble: An amazing job on my art scans. Thank you!

Brandon Burgoyne: Positive:ProfessionalismBen went above and beyond my expectations fitting me in on top of an already packed schedule due to Covid. Highly recommended. Extremely professional while making it a personal conversation. Extremely prompt and timely as well. Will be using his services again in the future.

Rick Meyerhoff: So far so good

Michael O'Leary: I had 8 pieces of digital art printed with Color Space and they turned out fantastic. The turn around was quick and Nicole was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend them for digital printing needs.

Chelsea Novotny: I just picked up my first inkjet print from here and I will be coming back for more! My art print turned out as I imagined with bright color. Super clean. Friendly staff, they even gave me an envelope for travel.

Izzi: Always a fabulous experience here! Super friendly & helpful staff and clean environment. Definitely a go to for great quality!

Posters On Board .com: what do users think?

Judith Peterson: Always a pleasure to work with POB!! Entering its door is like going into a candy store of pictures. So many fine and fun treasures. Appreciate the warm and helpful staff, who know their business.

Bonnie Erickson: I had three wonderful experiences at Posters on Board with Becky and Steve. I brought in 2 photos I wanted put into a frame, not having a clue how I wanted them framed, but Becky guided me every step of the way, from the placement of the photos in the frame to the color background that would look the best with my wall and other pictures already hung. Becky and Steve are real pros and you can tell they enjoy what they're doing. Then Steve brought the final work to my condo and hung it. He measured the space, stepped back to be sure it was where it looked the best, measured again, then pounded in the nail. He wanted to be sure it was perfect, and it was. Just a few weeks ago I brought another photo in for framing and it's absolutely perfect. Again, Becky helped me decide what I wanted, and Steve brought it to my condo for hanging. I have no hesitation recommending Posters on Board and Becky and Steve to everyone. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Bonnie Erickson

Jeremy Feuk: This is the place I've been looking for affordable art for your wall. Can order almost any size print imaginable. The selection is nearly endless. And the Staff is super friendly and will help you through everything so you get just the perfect picture

Coryn Jacobson: . Thank you for helping us with our prints - we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out and how perfectly they tie in to our home decor :

Chris Ross: I was able to get several of my aviation prints and pics framed last week. I'm impressed with this business. Say hi to Gizmo when your there.

Kyle Humbert: Had them frame a canvas painting. They had so many options that all looked great. Frame turned out awesome. Would recommend

Hannah Awsumb: I am beyond pleased and impressed with three beautiful frames from Posters on Board! I brought in three pieces of artwork - they have so many styles and options for framing and were helpful in sharing all options and gave amazing suggestions. Family owned business, their sweet dog comes into the store - please go here for your next framing need! They have plenty of art pieces in the store to purchase as well. I will be returning!

bailey stieger: These people are incredible. The knowledge they have, the work they do, and the friendly and helpful attitude of everyone there is absolutely above and beyond what i could have hoped for.I brought in a piece of art with an immense amount of sentimental value and they not only made me feel completely safe leaving it in their hands, but also that they cared about giving it the protection and setting that it deserved just as much as i did.All around a fantastic experience that i would 100% recommend to anyone looking for custom framing.

William Tajibnapis: . Excellent work

Jeff Danielson: Thanks for the excellent advice on my custom frame and wonderful customer service. I will always use poster on board for my framing needs and what a great show room as well.

Patrick Yoon: Becky and Steve went above and beyond to get my job done! I had a last minute rush order and they went out of their way to get it printed for me and framed in time. They are also the nicest people and truly a pleasure to do business with. I would come here again to have any framing jobs done or to buy artwork, and I definitely recommend them!

Aaron Halpin: Had a great experience! Knowledgeable employees that went the extra mile to make sure I got the right frame for the right price!

Michael Pane: Extremely helpful, professional and good!!!

Anne Kitchen: Great experience! From design consultation, to communication and final product, I cannot recommend Posters On Board enough. You get what you pay for at this shop!

Kim Powers: Thank you for doing a wonderful job on the prints for my bar area. They turned out beautifully. It was very nice working with you!! I will definitely be back. 😊

Urbn Squatch: A small business worth your time and dime. Professional and friendly!

Calhoun Beach Framing: what do users think?

Christine Williams: Amazing shop! Knowledgeable staff with keen eye for detail. Super happy!

Drew Neubauer: Best framing shop in Minneapolis. Absolutely love the work and creativity they put into their frames.

Jill E: Best custom framing in town!

Steven Poling: I had several pieces I needed framed. The folks at Calhoun Beach Framing went above and beyond to make sure they all looked great. While it was a tad expensive, I think it was money well spent considering the finished product. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Tom Sincheff: Great place, just started working there.

Lucy Woychuk-Mlinac: Amazing job! I brought in flimsy and slightly tattered art that they made look beautiful and stately! So friendly an helpful, they clearly know what they're doing and are happy to help you along the way! Leaving the store, I felt like I was already friends with the people working there.

Amelia Labuszewski: Great frame shop. Really talented staff and beautiful selection of materials.

Kara Burnett: I had a newspaper clipping of John Lewis’s final op-ed framed and it looks better than I had imagined. The process of selecting the mat and frame was such a pleasure. I had a wonderful experience and will be back for any future framing needs.

Ake Hallman: Great service! Highly recommended, I will be back!

Monica Kilber: and the attention to detail. I have appreciated their guidance on various projects, and have never been disappointed in the end result. Their personal and professional service doesn't compare!

Martha Beck: Best frame shop in Minneapolis. Great service and wide selection, including good variety of "ready-mades."

ASHLEY YANG: The artwork is beautiful and done with such delicacy. It's an understatement to say these guys know what they're doing. We had ran into a couple of small issues of getting my very large artwork stretched in the ten-day turn around time but the staff were able to fix that and finish my pieces! A more expensive place when compared to other framing locations but this is place is nothing less than exquisite. I will always go here!

Phyllis Roden: My new go-to framing place. Friendly, helpful staff. I've been very happy with the four framings they've done for me.

Lauren Lathrop: Friendly, helpful, and quick return time. A little on the pricey side but you pay for expertise and quality!

Mitrebox Framing Studio: what do users think?

Tanner Mathy: So many beautiful cards and gifts! I come here for pretty much every occasion.

Warren Cox: Sara and team always provide incredible guidance on framing projects for my art. The intentional and curious questions they ask help guide me in the decision. They are consistently mindful of my budget and even guide me sometimes to not re-frame pieces…I appreciate the relationship they form with me as a client. I will be shipping other pieces back to them in Minneapolis and they’ve earned a customer for life!

Greg Murphy: We've had a few pieces framed here, and they always wow us with their ideas and execution. Everyone is friendly and easy to work with. Thanks!!

Josh Katzenmeyer: Amazing selection of one-of-a-kind frames. Staff is super thoughtful and kind! You can tell they're invested in doing a good job so you walk away satisfied.

Christine Whitt: These humans are amazing.I used to be of the mind that the frame didn’t matter as much as the content, but they have proven to me that that is simply not the case. Many of the pieces in these photos were reframed and the results were entirely transformational. They are more inviting, better-looking, and protected from sun damage. It’s not cheap, but it shouldn’t be as there are true artists at this shop. As a bonus, they are dog-friendly, and working with them is an inspirational pleasure. Thanks, Mitrebox, keep doing what you do.

m: Quality , care , design and completion . Absolutely the highest quality and outcome for special pieces .

Matt Wickert: Mitrebox and the artists within understand and care for the transporting nature of a frame. Your piece is nice. It’s exciting. It may even be personal. But it is simply not complete until you walk through those doors. Some might call them framists, you could call them engineers, I want to call them artists. And I want to tip them cash every time I visit in the same way I want to tip a jazz pianist for playing Erroll Garner.I would say watching them work is the most enjoyable part of the process, but Mitrebox does you one better than spectatorship. They involve you. Your personal tastes and tendencies are activated, challenged, and appreciated. If you’re lucky, you may even get to stand on Sara’s stepstool for a better view.No matter what you plan to do with your piece or where you hope your piece takes you when it finally reaches your wall, you simply cannot get there without Mitrebox building the portal for you.

mary davis Racciatti: Extensive and well curated selection of frames and excellent framing advice.

Trudi Greaves: Fantastic little framing shop with super helpful and knowledgeable staff!

Karen Kaus: Great experience and competitive pricing! I had always gone to a National chain for custom framing because they were close to my house and I assumed the least expensive option. Decided to try a local business with a bigger selection thinking I’d pay more. This product is better, experience was better and cost is on par with the “heavily discounted” cost at the other place. I’m blown away and never going anywhere else again.

Sebastian Campbell: The term “consummate professional” could not be more accurate! These guys are great! And don’t forget to bring treats for Henry

Timothy McFadden: Possibbly the best shop in town.

Jim Miller: . I would recommend Mitrebox without question.

Groveland Gallery: what do users think?

peggy white: So dear to see the Groveland Gallery doing so well. Thank you all that invest in the time, effort and dedication to have this Gallery show and give those of us who live far enough away, that we can at least enjoy the pictures. I love some of the local artists. Thank you so much, Margaret

Jason Jaspersen: Beautiful house housing a well-run gallery representing representational beauty.

Martha Johnson: Loved this gem. As much as I am ashamed to admit...I was unaware of this gallery. I will definitely be back. Very interesting collections. Loved the Mike Lynch collection.

Kelvin Simms: , which is a great plus. They also have local artists spotlighted here.

Tom Hatch: Sally Johnson is fabulous as the manager/curator at this gallery. Knowledgeable, not snooty, loves art.

Ali Rox: Some outstanding artists represented. It's a cozy gallery. I like when the back yard Annex has an opening during the main gallery vernissage.

Glyde Hart King: . Love the nooks and crannies and the print room. Etc. Love this place. Will go here again and again. I also happen to know they are gracious to the artists they represent. Can't say enough about this place.

Beans: Historic building and a nice view of the Walker.

Art Cellar: what do users think?

Christopher Fernandez: Great selection of GOLDEN artist acrylics at a great price, excellent, helpful & knowledgeable staff who are also very courteous.

Jaime Hokanson: just realized that cellar/seller is a pun.... it's been like 8 years... amazing

Jenny Solem: Really happy I stopped in. Decent pricing, has some brands/supplies that I haven't seen in other stores. It's on the MCAD campus, but not hard to get to. Plenty of parking available on side streets. Only downer is their limited business hours, but considering it's for students first before the general public, it makes sense. If you're curious and have free time during the week, I recommend checking it out. Because of my work hours, I can't make it a habitual spot for shopping, but I'm very glad I got to visit.

Athp Ngo: As an art student here, you can find almost everything you need for your art projects of all kinds, all kinds, and its best to as the staff for items that they don't have there as well because they can tell you where else to find them if possible.

RANDY: Excellent selection for such a small store. Very home-y and decorated nicely. They do not carry little bottles or acrylic paint like the Folk Art and Apple Barrel brands, though. They only carry pigments, jars, & the squeezable tubes. A bit disappointing for someone who paints often.

Giup Wannagofast: Nice little art supply shop for MCAD students but open to the public as well. Limited choice but good prices.

Artistic Indulgence: what do users think?

Brian Vork-Zambory: I was very pleased the moment I walked into Artistic Indulgence. Mike dropped everything he was working on to greet me for my framing needs. He looked at my piece and knew exactly what frame to recommend, and I was blown away. It was perfect, better than I could imagine. My wife was so happy with her gift. A few weeks later I returned to have another piece framed and again he nailed it with his artistic vision. I’ll never go anywhere else to have art framed. Thanks Mike, you rock!!

Luke Neuville: Mike has framed several jerseys and other sports artwork/memorabilia for me. He is very professional and artistic. I am very happy with his work. Also, he has very reasonable rates for the quality of his work, in my opinion.. Highly recommend.

Pete OConnor: The piece looks absolutely fantastic, Paul Kidby's work looks brilliant with this frame!

kathy koch: Very helpful and knowledgable. Excellent suggestions! Very pleased with the framing we have done there!

Wade Larson: Pricey but high quality. Great service too.

Jackson Dainty: I had a great experience and liked their extensive frame selection.

Pam Moret: They did a great job in a treasured soccer jersey and had it done in time for Christmas. Gave me good advice on frame, matting, etc. highly recommend!

Casey Clausen: My family has been customers of Artistic Indulgence for more than ten years now. We first bought two small jazz pieces and have in the time since, purchased a number of original artworks by Mike and Irene, and other artists whose work is displayed at the gallery from day to day and also during artist showcases. Some of the artworks we have purchased have been commissions, which is a great process. To bring a few ideas of a subject and then see Mike’s talent bring those ideas through to a canvas or board is truly incredible. We have also had quite a number of pieces framed at the shop. The gallery has a large selection of frames from which to choose and it’s always been easy to find a few that could go great with the subject. The colors and styles of the mat board and frames that are recommended have always been pleasing to our eyes and made the selection process quick and painless. We’re thrilled to have had Artistic Indulgence in our lives during this past decade.

Rick Birmingham: Wonderful warm shop.

Amy Dlugosz: I used Artistic Indulgence for framing at their previous location and lost track of them when they moved. Several months ago I found them again.I brought in several pieces of art and spent 2+ hours with Mike finding the right frames for the pieces. He gave me the cost for each piece up front. Since then I've been bringing in pieces one or two at a time for framing. The results are always fabulous and the prices were what was agreed up.I cannot sing the praises of Artistic Indulgences loudly enough.

Bako Orionzi: The owner has a ton of different art, both local and not. He also does a great job framing paintings for a very reasonable price

Jennifer Krantz: We bring all of our art here to get framed. Fantastic work.

Caliann: portrait photo print and trusted Artistic Indulgence to frame it based on a professional artist's recommendation. They did a beautiful custom job at a substantial discount to other quotes I'd obtained. It's been hanging on my wall for 5y and still looks great. Highly recommend.

john kincaid: I had the pleasure of meeting Mike & Irene of Artistic Indulgence many years ago when it was located in Okmulgee Okla. We had several prints & pictures framed by them. All are still in great shape thanks to the "Preservation Framing". They are not only great artists, but true masters of their craft. Always pleasant, framing always delivered when promised.Should also be noted that we found that pricing was more than fair. Do not call around town with your dimensions to find a lower price, because Quality & Craftsmanship has a value.

Tiffany Sloan: Excellence in every way. Love the store and the owners. Since the first picture they framed for me almost 18 years ago, I haven't gone anywhere else for my framing needs. No store/gallery/shop can offer the quality, creativity, and professionalism that you'll find at Artistic Indulgence.

Karen Gossel: Honestly, before I knew Mike Menasco and his Artistic Indulgence gallery, I didn’t pay enough attention on how important it is to get the right frame for a piece of art. I simply put my posters, prints etc. in cheap swap-frames, suitable in colour at best, and then I thought: “Yep, looking good.” I was not - at all - aware of the fact that I could look at it and think: “Heyheyhey wow, that looks amazing!” Mike has the rare ability to “complete” art work by framing it in his very special way. The best comparison is a tasty BBQ: Nice to have a lean steak professionally grilled. But one can also make it an unforgettable memory when you serve delicious side dishes, deliver the meal in a beautiful garden and add a bunch of good friends. And that is what Mike does. He’s not only creating a supportive and enhancing mat and frame. No. He takes his time to see how the art is influencing his imagination on how to complement and round off a drawing, a photo, a collage, an antique, or whatever people bring him. And when he finishes one and shows it to me, there is nothing I would add or skip – because he perfected it.

K Wright: I have had many works of art created by Mike Menasco as well as frame work ... His ability to custom create frames around any piece of art, surpasses any and all that I've ever had done before him ... He is very talented and does incredible work !!! I look forward to many more in the future !!! Customer for life !!! Thank You !!!!

Debbie McIlhon: I had an amazing experience with Mike at Artistic Indulgence! A precious gift of a Burmese Bible was given to me and needed framing. After researching online master framers in the Twin Cities area, I decided on Artistic indulgence because of his work with asian art. The reviews did not do him justice. He is a master framer and artist and genuinely kind person all rolled into one! He had the vision to see what I wanted and encouraged me to go with my gut. The finished product is a masterpiece, worthy of a spot in a museum. I cannot thank him enough, I am happy every time I look at the Burmese Bible. It was karma that brought us together, of that I am sure! Thanks again Mike!

Tim Williams: we needed 3 pieces framed and all had different colors but were going in the same room. Mike not only helped pick a frame that would tie all 3 together but that would also work in our space...all while our two young boys were tearing around his shop. Mike had excellent communication during the entire process and his artistic eye led to a superb end product...something you will not find at the big box stores. One of my prints was not clearly signed and he was able to assist me in getting in touch with the artist who custom signed the piece for me!!! A+++

Jae-Woo Kim: and also a meticulous nature. I got just that. A lot of options were provided, attention to detail was very apparent, and they also took the time to explain their rationale behind decisions

Gamut Gallery: what do users think?

Phil Warumzer: Great place to experience art and all of the interactions of supporting it!

Brian Wene: Great collection and incredible events occur regularly here. The art here is consistently of the highest quality and the different styles all come together to create a very welcoming community in the Elliot Park neighborhood. Make a plan to attend an opening night celebration in addition to the closing night party. Live music and other performances can be seen at this intimate gallery during those events. I highly suggest becoming a member as you get free entrance to events and other great perks. The membership price is affordable & a payment plan is an option. Artist talks typically occur during the regular exhibits & are emceed by solid members of the greater art community. I make sure to budget an annual membership to solidify my spot in the art community because the viewers are an important part of it.

matthew olsen: Thank you very much for Yuya's show.He is a Minneapolis gem!

Frank Neubecker: Amazing gallery with wonderful art from the community!

Desiree Forget: Best little gallery in town!

LUNCHBOX6690: I've been there a handful of times and every time is a blast. The people are fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy.

Bwana: A very nice gallery space. It was a well curated show, and everyone there was extremely pleasant. I look forward to going back. The only issue I have was the acoustics were not ideal for a large gathering.

Thomas Robinson: Cool place

Grant “George Randel” Doyle: Awesome gallery w/ great atmosphere! My only minor complaint would be the bartender seemed like he was trying a little too hard to be cool and he could do little bit less chit-chat and little more pouring drinks. Overall 10/10!

Lucy Johnson: It was an awesome place too be there i never been there before and it was my first time there the store ower was super friendly because I had some stuff in the show and lots of people came too it 😀 😄 😊

Justin Savageau: Had a great time at a colab here. Neat space, cool people, awesome host. Will definitely check out future events.

Laura Cina: Went for the ColabArt night!

Mikayla Peterson: Best gallery in the cities! Always good vibes and energy in there!

Haley Spann: Beautiful gallery 10/10 would recommend

christina marie Johnson: Absolutely ADORE Gamut Gallery! Founded by two out-of-this-world bad a** women! Gamut hosts several events throughout the year that are free to their members or can gain entry by paying a small fee. The space in itself offers a lovely front area with a showcase displaying some items for purchase and a few shelves, and then has the main gallery space just beyond that. They have been open for almost 10 years! And I am excited for their next 10! Support local art and stop in! Check them out on facebook and Instagram as well for updates on events!

Lindsey Bernardy: Steve was both professional and kind, making my in-store experience fantastic. Tiger Beaudoin: Don't settle for "commodity" framing. Remember, details matter; you'll look at your art for a long time. We've been picture-perfectly impressed by Steve's handiwork and are repeat customers, thanks to his experienced eye. He cares about his craft & it shows in the finished pieces.

Steven Mosborg: Feel blessed to have Steve Schaben, owner of FastFrames Minneapolis, as my exclusive, signed, limited edition, photo framing vendor. Steve brings over two decades of experience to each project and is a very thoughtful, soft-spoken and meticulous craftsman who takes great pride in delivering picture-perfect framing and matting projects. Just as importantly, Steve meets all of my aggressive exhibit and framing order deadlines. Always. Check FastFrames Minneapolis out. You'll be glad you did.

Heather Grey: What a wonderful guy! I went in and asked Steve to donate a frame to a non- profit I volunteer for. He didn't hesitate and made a very generous offer! Yesterday I was at my friend's house and complimented her on a piece of art on her wall and she told me Steve had framed it along with several other of her pieces.

Thomas Duff: He does incredible work... I trust him with all my framing needs and he never disappoints.

Annika Swanson: Steven is such a genuine and nice person! He helped me pick out something perfect for my pieces! Knowing I had a time limit, he managed amazing turnaround! The products were beautiful!! So grateful.

Benjamin Staehlin: The work is excellent, the turnaround is very fast, and the price is very reasonable for custom framing.

Ben Koenigs: really great and attentive service. I recommend this if you’re looking for a beautifully made frame!

Hadley Ristvedt: I have had several pieces framed by Steve. He takes the time to show you different options and to advise on design to ensure you achieve the look you want. He is always kind in his interactions and gets things done quickly and beautifully!

Alfredo Martel: Steve has a great eye for matting and frame choices. Always excellent quality and a fair price.

Victoria Amador: Steve is great, and the work is fantastic.

Catherine Easler: the store is fantastic. everthing you need for creative fun kids play or adult hobby. lise is always helpful and kind.

Lisa S: Such a local gem. It is my daughters & I favorite place for a day just the two of us. Lisa is such a wealth of artistic information, and all the crafts are genuine, simply sourced and honest in materials.

Jodi Miller: I took my daughter to Heartfelt a couple of times when she was 2. I was a little nervous because crafting with a 2 year old can be tricky, especially in public. We made pumpkin homes for a peg-gnome that we also made there. We so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, both times. It was so much fun playing with her with it and even after that pumpkin rotted, we still kept the gnome and tree bark bed we made. The thing though that I most took away from Heartfelt was how to craft with a toddler. Making the pumpkin home and watching the staff’s instruction to a young audience, and how they handled the kids and their parents as well as seeing how you could use pieces of nature to make really neat things was beyond inspirational. I will always remember Heartfelt for these experiences I gained. I could see shopping there for project ideas/supplies for a adult without kids too.

Blick Art Materials: what do users think?

Julie Johnson: I took my daughter to this store. She has a disability, and the manager was amazing and accommodating. My daughter was a bit overwhelmed, but the manager spent time with her, told her about the various choices, and helped her found what she wanted and what would work for her. I regret that I did not catch the manager's name.

Joy Avery: It's so much fun to wander through this store especially if you want to spend an hour, not just pop in for what you need. I love markers and probably have way too many but am always looking for new ones. The only complaint I have is that most of the markers are under lock and key. I'm sure they would gladly unlock all the cases so I could take my hour closely looking at every single marker but I've never asked them to do that. So that's my only complaint. Otherwise top notch.

Brad Galvin: Everything I needed and more.

Sinead Odessa: Always a nice experience, organized and neat store, lovely staff. They helped me with a coupon and adding on supplies. Super easy trip every time!

Nanette Taylor: I can usually find all the supplies that I’m looking for all my projects. And for many years I’ve had my artwork scanned and color corrected. Wonderful support and quality prints. However, disappointing to find out they won’t be replacing their large printer that broke down to make prints from original artwork. Now, they send it out for printing instead of in-house. I will have to find another company to make prints of my artwork. Disappointing.

Aliosky Garcia: Excellent

Dow Art Gallery and Picture Framing: what do users think?

Kris Jacobson: Great gallery owner, very knowledgeable artist himself. Beautiful work. Enjoyed this visit, will be sure to go again!

Anna Scholin: Fabulous gallery of local artists! Particularly good for representational oil paintings. Friendly owner and surprisingly large space. Great place to drop in and browse!

G Timmreck: Great variety of art. Something for everyone.

steve simmer: A large gallery with a variety of art and artists. Framing service on-site is a plus.

Raven Pluim: Pictured is the artwork I purchased, I forgot to ask if I was allowed to take pictures in the gallery before I went in. When I return, I shall ask if pictures are allowed, and if I am given the go ahead, I will post newer pictures. My first art gallery I've ever visited. The owner was nice and respectful, and curated a diverse of art styles for the enjoyment of patrons. Not only this, but prints and greeting card versions of artwork was provided at a price patrons of lesser economic standing could afford. The art here really spoke to me, Marty Maehr's artwork was something I liked the most. Unfortunately, Maehr's work was out of my means to purchase, but I'll tell you it has the simplicity of mosaics from before the Renaissance, but had color blending that was many levels beyond simply eye popping. I recommend this establishment highly. Mr. Dow's art has set a high bar for future art galleries for me.

A P: This is a beautiful gallery that showcases many rotating Minnesota artists: whether the medium is photography, sculptures, or paintings. The owner's mission is to showcase working artists in his beautiful gallery where the artists get support to display their work to the public and where they are able to receive a living wage for their pieces. It is a true partnership between the gallery and the artists. I absolutely love this mission. Currently there is a Ukrainian artist who is one of the artists displaying their work there. Go buy some beautiful art and help artists make a living in what they love to do. There's really something for everyone at this gallery. Last but not least, they also do custom framing, which is absolutely the best! I just can't say enough good things about this place and its owner... he's an immigrant himself that moved with his family when he was a youngster and he is so incredibly humble and genuinely the nicest guy. Go check them out!

Robert Ramirez: I had spoken with Mr Greg Dow on the phone about a painting. You can hear the kindness and concern in his voice when I told him the story of how I came across the painting. He asked for an email of the painting and quickly replied with all the information I needed. Thank you Greg!

Sarah Ellis: Very friendly and does amazing work - the framing I've done here is beautiful and of wonderful quality.

Paul Kaefer: Excellent gallery with quite a few artists. Recommended.

Darren Cowl: Khahn is great and did a great job framing our artwork! Looks wonderful! AAA+++ job!

Laurel O'Gorman: Khanh Tran is indeed a gifted, personable, hard working problem solver, with great skill in his framing and impressive Art Center.

Emma Gabbert: nice!

Dave Casebolt: I can’t say enough good things about Dow Art Gallery and its proprietor, Khanh. The gallery itself is filled with a huge amount of very high quality work of many different styles, and the art framing services provided there are absolutely top-notch. I brought in 4 very different pieces, and we spent a good deal of thoughtful time selecting what we thought would be the best settings for them. I just picked everything up, and couldn’t be happier with the end product. You get what you pay for at this gallery, and Khanh Tran is absolutely outstanding and a joy to work with. Thanks, Khanh!

Nelli Nell: AWSOME!!

Gail Hanson: Kahn did a wonderful job of cleaning and reframing this antique oil painting. He is great to work with and has really creative ideas. I highly recommend Dow Art Gallery & Picture Framing.
