Posters On Board .com: what do users think?

Judith Peterson: Always a pleasure to work with POB!! Entering its door is like going into a candy store of pictures. So many fine and fun treasures. Appreciate the warm and helpful staff, who know their business.

Bonnie Erickson: I had three wonderful experiences at Posters on Board with Becky and Steve. I brought in 2 photos I wanted put into a frame, not having a clue how I wanted them framed, but Becky guided me every step of the way, from the placement of the photos in the frame to the color background that would look the best with my wall and other pictures already hung. Becky and Steve are real pros and you can tell they enjoy what they're doing. Then Steve brought the final work to my condo and hung it. He measured the space, stepped back to be sure it was where it looked the best, measured again, then pounded in the nail. He wanted to be sure it was perfect, and it was. Just a few weeks ago I brought another photo in for framing and it's absolutely perfect. Again, Becky helped me decide what I wanted, and Steve brought it to my condo for hanging. I have no hesitation recommending Posters on Board and Becky and Steve to everyone. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Bonnie Erickson

Jeremy Feuk: This is the place I've been looking for affordable art for your wall. Can order almost any size print imaginable. The selection is nearly endless. And the Staff is super friendly and will help you through everything so you get just the perfect picture

Coryn Jacobson: . Thank you for helping us with our prints - we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out and how perfectly they tie in to our home decor :

Chris Ross: I was able to get several of my aviation prints and pics framed last week. I'm impressed with this business. Say hi to Gizmo when your there.

Kyle Humbert: Had them frame a canvas painting. They had so many options that all looked great. Frame turned out awesome. Would recommend

Hannah Awsumb: I am beyond pleased and impressed with three beautiful frames from Posters on Board! I brought in three pieces of artwork - they have so many styles and options for framing and were helpful in sharing all options and gave amazing suggestions. Family owned business, their sweet dog comes into the store - please go here for your next framing need! They have plenty of art pieces in the store to purchase as well. I will be returning!

bailey stieger: These people are incredible. The knowledge they have, the work they do, and the friendly and helpful attitude of everyone there is absolutely above and beyond what i could have hoped for.I brought in a piece of art with an immense amount of sentimental value and they not only made me feel completely safe leaving it in their hands, but also that they cared about giving it the protection and setting that it deserved just as much as i did.All around a fantastic experience that i would 100% recommend to anyone looking for custom framing.

William Tajibnapis: . Excellent work

Jeff Danielson: Thanks for the excellent advice on my custom frame and wonderful customer service. I will always use poster on board for my framing needs and what a great show room as well.

Patrick Yoon: Becky and Steve went above and beyond to get my job done! I had a last minute rush order and they went out of their way to get it printed for me and framed in time. They are also the nicest people and truly a pleasure to do business with. I would come here again to have any framing jobs done or to buy artwork, and I definitely recommend them!

Aaron Halpin: Had a great experience! Knowledgeable employees that went the extra mile to make sure I got the right frame for the right price!

Michael Pane: Extremely helpful, professional and good!!!

Anne Kitchen: Great experience! From design consultation, to communication and final product, I cannot recommend Posters On Board enough. You get what you pay for at this shop!

Kim Powers: Thank you for doing a wonderful job on the prints for my bar area. They turned out beautifully. It was very nice working with you!! I will definitely be back. 😊

Urbn Squatch: A small business worth your time and dime. Professional and friendly!

Ricardo Levins Morales Art Studio: what do users think?

Jessica Underwood: Very cool place. Fantastic artwork, especially for the activists and revolutionaries out there. Great place for souvenirs, too, if you’re visiting from out of town.

Chris Kearns-McCoy: Wonderful world-changing art--from the most artistic political posters to the most political artistic pins and stickers. Don't miss out on the Liberation Calendar either!

Paige Carlson: whom most resonates with your current needs and imaginative space. While i was perusing Ricardo found me, and asked how i was doing. I told him i was doing good, really meaning it, and here to check out the new location so i could write a truthful google review. We exchanged a few more words and he returned to mysterious and magical place behind the wall.I ended up buying a handful of cards and a button. Yesterday i received a return letter from someone who was a recipient of one of those cards, in her response she was quoting the card, "Another world is possible" and telling me she pinned it to her wall, right above her writing desk. What a gift that Ricardo and his team have decided to live and step up shop here in Minneapolis so that we may feel cared for and inspired by his long and dedication and attention to this work.I will come to this shop in joyful imagination, to support those i love, and when i am in need of this type of medicine for hard times.Thank you Ricardo and team!!

Charissa Verdoorn: Beautiful place!

Melissa NFFE Baumann: My contact has been through eCommerce, and I have been super happy with the quality and service of the products.

Kelly Newcomer: One of my favorite artists in Minneapolis! I have his screenprints hanging in my home and my airbnb. A unique storefront art studio and poster shop. Buy buttons and bumper stickers with a positive message. "Make Music Not War" is a great one. Don't miss Ricardo Levins Morales' coffee calendar. This whole block is a gem with a super neighborhood cafe and theater also.

Amy Greulich: Exquisite art! I've ordered pieces online and often give RLM artwork as gifts to family and friends. Power artwork and good sustenance for all.

Peter Freitag: I have loved the art of Ricardo Levins Morales since the first time I saw his work.

Denise Diaz: The art is beautiful and carrying powerful images. Been a long time customer of this studio.

Rachel Payne: Ricardo is a hero.

Cory Linden: Ricardo is a living treasure. His art is inspiring, colorful, funny, & beautifully detailed, & his value to the community as a mentor & activist is incalculable. This new studio space, just a few blocks from the old one, is easier to visit & less cramped; there's a large selection of posters, buttons, cards, etc to browse.

Muhammad Ahsan: This place was so cool, the art was fantastic, just picked out a poster for my dorm room today. Totally recommend checking this place out if you're in the area

Groovy's: what do users think?

Nicole Beyer: Cutie spot! Tons of records, cds, cassettes, and movies! Loved the back room with home decor. I purchased a wicker basket for $8! Owner was so kind and let me do my own thing!

Alice wikel: It's a very interesting store. There are nooks and small rooms full of items of all kinds, and some clothing for sale.

Tammy Sweet: A very interesting place with lots of unique items.

Jay Johnston: Love this place. Nostalgic inventory, great used CD and LP browsing and always something for that special nook in your abode 🤟

Cryssie Love: Got at least three not easy to find records at Groovy's. Amazing. We had to leave or we'd have gotten too many records to carry. It's such a good shop in a cute area.

ellie abbott: Such good vibes and prices! The owner was also super cool

Allison Dreyer: I always find something here. Nicely curated selection of records, clothing, and decor.

Sasha Renee: I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this store! I don’t shop vintage stores as often as I used to, only because I was an avid collector for decades and already have most of the cool things. 😂 I was impressed with the selection of all things vintage. Furniture, housewares, decor, vinyl, clothing, comics and toys. The owner was super cool and helpful as well. I’ll definitely check back from time to time.

Rae j: Super fun place...I will be back for some records!

Mitrebox Framing Studio: what do users think?

Tanner Mathy: So many beautiful cards and gifts! I come here for pretty much every occasion.

Warren Cox: Sara and team always provide incredible guidance on framing projects for my art. The intentional and curious questions they ask help guide me in the decision. They are consistently mindful of my budget and even guide me sometimes to not re-frame pieces…I appreciate the relationship they form with me as a client. I will be shipping other pieces back to them in Minneapolis and they’ve earned a customer for life!

Greg Murphy: We've had a few pieces framed here, and they always wow us with their ideas and execution. Everyone is friendly and easy to work with. Thanks!!

Josh Katzenmeyer: Amazing selection of one-of-a-kind frames. Staff is super thoughtful and kind! You can tell they're invested in doing a good job so you walk away satisfied.

Christine Whitt: These humans are amazing.I used to be of the mind that the frame didn’t matter as much as the content, but they have proven to me that that is simply not the case. Many of the pieces in these photos were reframed and the results were entirely transformational. They are more inviting, better-looking, and protected from sun damage. It’s not cheap, but it shouldn’t be as there are true artists at this shop. As a bonus, they are dog-friendly, and working with them is an inspirational pleasure. Thanks, Mitrebox, keep doing what you do.

m: Quality , care , design and completion . Absolutely the highest quality and outcome for special pieces .

Matt Wickert: Mitrebox and the artists within understand and care for the transporting nature of a frame. Your piece is nice. It’s exciting. It may even be personal. But it is simply not complete until you walk through those doors. Some might call them framists, you could call them engineers, I want to call them artists. And I want to tip them cash every time I visit in the same way I want to tip a jazz pianist for playing Erroll Garner.I would say watching them work is the most enjoyable part of the process, but Mitrebox does you one better than spectatorship. They involve you. Your personal tastes and tendencies are activated, challenged, and appreciated. If you’re lucky, you may even get to stand on Sara’s stepstool for a better view.No matter what you plan to do with your piece or where you hope your piece takes you when it finally reaches your wall, you simply cannot get there without Mitrebox building the portal for you.

mary davis Racciatti: Extensive and well curated selection of frames and excellent framing advice.

Trudi Greaves: Fantastic little framing shop with super helpful and knowledgeable staff!

Karen Kaus: Great experience and competitive pricing! I had always gone to a National chain for custom framing because they were close to my house and I assumed the least expensive option. Decided to try a local business with a bigger selection thinking I’d pay more. This product is better, experience was better and cost is on par with the “heavily discounted” cost at the other place. I’m blown away and never going anywhere else again.

Sebastian Campbell: The term “consummate professional” could not be more accurate! These guys are great! And don’t forget to bring treats for Henry

Timothy McFadden: Possibbly the best shop in town.

Jim Miller: . I would recommend Mitrebox without question.

Calhoun Beach Framing: what do users think?

Christine Williams: Amazing shop! Knowledgeable staff with keen eye for detail. Super happy!

Drew Neubauer: Best framing shop in Minneapolis. Absolutely love the work and creativity they put into their frames.

Jill E: Best custom framing in town!

Steven Poling: I had several pieces I needed framed. The folks at Calhoun Beach Framing went above and beyond to make sure they all looked great. While it was a tad expensive, I think it was money well spent considering the finished product. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Tom Sincheff: Great place, just started working there.

Lucy Woychuk-Mlinac: Amazing job! I brought in flimsy and slightly tattered art that they made look beautiful and stately! So friendly an helpful, they clearly know what they're doing and are happy to help you along the way! Leaving the store, I felt like I was already friends with the people working there.

Amelia Labuszewski: Great frame shop. Really talented staff and beautiful selection of materials.

Kara Burnett: I had a newspaper clipping of John Lewis’s final op-ed framed and it looks better than I had imagined. The process of selecting the mat and frame was such a pleasure. I had a wonderful experience and will be back for any future framing needs.

Ake Hallman: Great service! Highly recommended, I will be back!

Monica Kilber: and the attention to detail. I have appreciated their guidance on various projects, and have never been disappointed in the end result. Their personal and professional service doesn't compare!

Martha Beck: Best frame shop in Minneapolis. Great service and wide selection, including good variety of "ready-mades."

ASHLEY YANG: The artwork is beautiful and done with such delicacy. It's an understatement to say these guys know what they're doing. We had ran into a couple of small issues of getting my very large artwork stretched in the ten-day turn around time but the staff were able to fix that and finish my pieces! A more expensive place when compared to other framing locations but this is place is nothing less than exquisite. I will always go here!

Phyllis Roden: My new go-to framing place. Friendly, helpful staff. I've been very happy with the four framings they've done for me.

Lauren Lathrop: Friendly, helpful, and quick return time. A little on the pricey side but you pay for expertise and quality!

Just as importantly, Steve meets all of my aggressive exhibit and framing order deadlines. Always. Check FastFrames Minneapolis out. You'll be glad you did.

Heather Grey: What a wonderful guy! I went in and asked Steve to donate a frame to a non- profit I volunteer for. He didn't hesitate and made a very generous offer! Carter Avenue Frame Shop: what do users think?

Ally Westenbroek: Very helpful and always do a great job

Mimi Alworth: This has been my go-to frame shop for years. The service is always wonderful, and I appreciate that they always give great framing advice. Highly recommend!!

Adam Dwyer: Amazing service and fast, quality work. Recommend ✅ ✅

Chris Ross: I've always liked this frame shop. They were able to help me with a question I had about a frame hanger.

Tony Peltier: Picked up some framed work for a customer. Their customer service was top notch!

Angeles Juarez: The staff is so helpful and nice, in addition to great work!!

Shelley Mangen: Wonderful.

Tina: I have been getting diplomas and certificates framed here for years. Their work is top notch and they do a nice job matching the mat to the piece. I had my 9 year old son's artwork framed and it looks amazing.

Matthew Natysin: My wife and I purchased a painting while on vacation- we needed the painting stretched and mounted. Carter Avenue Frame Shop did a wonderful job! We are very very happy!

David Nicholson: After years of procrastination I finally decided it was time to frame and hang my accumulation of old family photos, and I must say, if it weren't for the professionally trained eyes and patience of Mike Smith and his team my project would still be in limbo. I love the array of frames selected . . . each distinctively different and perfectly matched for the "personality" of the photo! And when it came time to hanging the photos on my designated home photo wall, Mike was right there to help and did a masterful job! Thank you Mike, thank you Caleb for helping me out here. You are the epitome of fine customer service. David

John Syverud: Super-accomodating, professional and knowledgeable. True artists in their own right.

Liz Hult: I am absolutely thrilled with the piece that Carter Frame Shop created for me.

Will McBride: I had two pieces framed for my office. Both Caleb and Tim guided us through layouts that worked for the space as well as with the art. The results were very high quality. Super quick turnaround and great communication, too.

Ben Koch: Wow. I am extremely impressed by the shop's work. I came to Carter Ave Frame shop because I had driven past it numerous times and then read some of the reviews online. I had purchased some artwork overseas and when I brought it home I it was a little damaged and I knew that I wouldn't be able to hang it using a cheap frame I found at a craft store. After a consultation with Caleb at CAFS he gave me some really great suggestions and allowed me to think about the look I was going for. I really appreciated his eye and attention to colors and styles. After making some choices I left feeling pretty good about the decisions made and looking forward to the finished product. I returned a little over a week later and was BLOWN AWAY by how awesome the work looked. The colors popped, frames were perfect, and the paintings looked better than what I imagined when I bought them. Bluntly honest, I was a little surprised by the price that I paid, but now that I've seen the work, IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Stacia Marlett: Beautiful framing at a great price

Betty Lotterman: Always great service and the finished pieces always get lots of compliments.

Missouri Mouse Antiques: what do users think?

Pat Hogan: You never know what you may find

Adam Morgan: My friend and I came here to look around and were pleasantly surprised by the number of items sold here. There was a system for categorization and authentication of things that I couldn't quite make sense of but I imagine those looking for that would be able to sort it out. There's both an upstairs and downstairs to the place and my friend found a cool mug he was excited to purchase. Staff were pleasant and helpful during the checkout process and it was clear this is a place of interest based on the foot traffic. I'll definitely be back again in the future to see what else they've got. An easy 5 stars from me!

David Enyeart: Lots of good antiques, mostly from the first half of the 20th century.

janet hill: A fun variety

Noah Barth: A lot of things to find here. Vendor with maps even helped me with a very obscure search and despite not finding it, she was very knowledgeable and willing to help.

Scott Wickedland: Wow!

Jonathan Roden: Really cool place to check out. Huge variety of different items and just fun to browse and check out everything they have. Big selection of old maps which was really cool to see and buy.

NANCY ZURN: lovingly displayed cultural remnants of by gone eras to binge on nostalgia to inspire life. Very delightful store .

Marnie: Love this shop

Electric Fetus: what do users think?

Jason B: Only place I know of in the Twin Cities that actively maintains its flow of used classical music vinyl. Please never stop.

T. Wilson: This is one of my favorite stores. Once I step in the store, I get lost in time. Variety of cool items to purchase throughout. Fragrance in store is a plus, too!

Noel Stroner: I love coming here when I’m in Minneapolis. Their vinyl selection is amazing - I’m always impressed to find collections by my favorite artists that are more obscure. They also have a random selection of merchandise that includes clothing, home decorations, etc. Good place to buy gifts.

Chris Marshall: Still an amazing place for any taste of music you have.

Dianne Morstad: Great place to sell DVD's. Fair pricing. Good communication. Cool place to shop!!

Jean-Luc Beaudry: I'm from Winnipeg and I make Electric Fetus a destination whenever I'm in Minneapolis. Great selection of new and used records, gifts, and clothing. Welcoming atmosphere and very helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent customer service: contacted the store when I discovered an issue with a record I had purchased when I returned home, which was quickly resolved when I received a replacement only a few days later. Looking forward to my next visit to EF!

Becky McGowan: My favorite store!!

Jason Leivermann: Very interesting place to visit for record browsing and tons of silly gifts and toys, lots of clothing options and personal care items but everything is very expensive for what it is. Overall fun to browse around if your in the area with time to blow.

Ted Kemple: The line was too long in the Drive-Thru

Howard Wong: Still a great record store

Ryan-william McClune: Love discovering new music and waiting for so drqonit
