Elisabeth Clemans: We just got married at Day Block and it was wonderful. Chris and Jeff are nice and professional. The space is absolutely gorgeous and they were so accommodating to our plans and set up. Our bartender for the night, Jessica, was wonderful and personable! I definitely recommend Day Block for your wedding or event!

Ty Ebert: Like most people sharing here, I was at the venue for a wedding. I moved out of downtown before this opened a while back and had only been downstairs for the pizza and music. The event spaces was well put together and appropriately sized for a 100 to 125 person wedding. There was room to get away from the dancing and chill on the balcony facing US Bank Stadium. As it happens, there was live music in the restaurant patio itself and we got to enjoy that too!The food was good and the staff seemed very responsive to moving tables around when it came time to dance and cleaning up the occasional spilled drink.

Laura Guzman: We used Day Block for our ceremony, reception, and used their bar services. We picked them primarily because they had an open catering and bar policy and the space is really naturally beautiful. Brittany was our main point of contact and she was responsive to our questions and helped us figure out different options to help the day go smoothly. We ended up renting their first floor auxiliary taproom to move people downstairs during dinner for a cocktail hour and it worked great! It was also really nice that they had tables and chairs we could use for free. The space is beautiful and much more affordable than similar spaces in Minneapolis. We did hire a day-of coordinator to help manage a lot of the details of the day and would recommend others do the same. Also, we were so glad we used their bar services! The selection was great and well priced and the bar tenders managed our rowdy crowd well!

Ashli Theis: Day Block provides a very “hands off” experience, which is what we were looking for. We were able to bring in our own caterer and bar and that saved us a lot of money. It is a stunning space and they allow you to make it your own. We were sold on all of its natural elements: brick walls, hardwood floors and natural lighting. We had about 125 guests and we all fit pretty comfortably. Their event manager Brittany was really lovely to work with – she was kind and quick to respond to all of our questions. Ethan, the person we worked with on the day of, was very helpful with all of our needs.

Celisia Stanton: I am the owner of Celisia Stanton Photography, and one of my clients held their intimate wedding at The Neu Neu. The Neu Neu is a fantastic venue!! The getting-ready rooms have huge windows with tons of natural light, allowing us to capture indoor photos without struggling with awkward shadows or uneven lighting. The ceremony and reception took place in the same room, and the exposed brick and wood detailing provided the perfect backdrop for a moody, intimate celebration. My clients also made full use of The Neu Neu's outside space by setting up a badminton court, hiring the Style Society to provide an outdoor lounge area, and providing a Revere food truck for their guests to enjoy. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are beautiful, and I'd highly recommend The Neu Neu to anyone looking for a great venue in the heart of Minneapolis.

Amy Lowry: It's a beautiful venue. They lay out is eclectic and interesting. I did not get to stay very long at the event so did not get a feel for the transition from wedding to reception. There is a coffee shop attached which is amazing to me!

There are ample spaces for your guests to spread out throughout the day, from the Wine Grotto in the basement to the front porch outdoors to the spacious ballroom upstairs. I was having so much fun upstairs that I actually forgot to even visit the Wine Grotto!Beyond the venue itself, the incredible coordinator, Katherine Bailey, makes the entire process so smooth and enjoyable. Katherine is the best! She is incredibly helpful and responsive, and I am so grateful to have had her on my team.I will always remember this place so fondly. Do yourself a favor and book Semple Mansion for your wedding! 10/10 recommend.

It can be difficult to find a mansion venue that doesn't feel broken up into rooms that split up the guests, but Semple Mansion has the perfect layouts & flow for both ceremony and reception needs. It's easy to spend the entire day there and not feel like you need a change of scene. It was also super convenient to utilize the high-quality vendors that are already based within Semple Mansion. Guest parking is no problem, the ballroom is stunning, and we also loved that we could utilize the grand piano for live music during our ceremony. We couldn't dream of a better wedding venue.

S Kruger: Attended a wedding here and it was a nice place. The decor surprisingly light and sparkly, they really went heavy with the reflective surfaces. The bar was well stocked, and run. The food, which was Italian, was good and plentiful. The ceremony and reception took place in the same room and the set-up of the reception didn't take too long. My only criticisms would be the chairs were very uncomfortable by the end of the wedding and the decorative drapes were so dirty they were gray. They need to be taken down and washed. Seriously, take the time.

Roy Flores: I was a guest at a wedding in this venue and I must say it is very beautiful. It's big inside and the lights are very pretty. The bartenders were quick and friendly. The bathrooms are also very nice and big so they can accommodate lots of people. The security were friendly at the end of the night helping us get an uber. This place is perfect for a wedding.

The venue is stunning with so much character and historic charm that it made us truly feel like it was a one in a million kind of venue. Our wedding was seamless with how it was laid out where the entire day is at one location moving from the mansion, ballroom, courtyard and carriage house. The best part was the team who was there for you every step of the way. When we inquired, we worked with Jenna Zamjahn in the beginning of planning stages, and we connected with her instantly where she felt like an old, trusted friend. Jenna is super knowledgeable, helpful, and just an absolute joy to work with that we knew that this was the place for our big day. Once we decided on the venue, we worked with the wedding coordinator, Monica Sanger and because of her, it was a seamless process. Monica is the best at what she does. She goes above and beyond and made us feel like her top priority, super attentive and always there for us if we needed help. Her strong work ethic, eye-to-detail, compassionate heart are what make her stand out. We are forever grateful for having to work with Jenna and Monica and the whole VDM team for our special day. If it wasn’t for them, none of it was possible. This venue and the people are truly one of a kind and anyone would be lucky to have their wedding here!

You could get lost in all the amazingly-decorated rooms and there are countless backdrops for photos. Every staff member I encountered was extremely kind and I could tell they were working hard to make the day as smooth as possible. Highly recommend!

Emily Ferrazzo: from beginning to end.Luckily, the weather cooperated for our 10/21 wedding so we had the ceremony in the courtyard, allowing for a slow but procession through the grounds as the night progressed.Anything over our guest count would’ve been tight for the ceremony space AND dining hall, so keep that in mind. We chose to add two hours in the morning for $200/hour, very much worth it and the perfect amount of time for a 10-person wedding party

Located in the heart of Minneapolis, this is the perfect venue for anyone who wants a more classic wedding venue in a city environment. Highly recommend!

Kiara was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process and our day turned out incredible. The day felt intimate, but was still able to hold 200 of our guests comfortably! Highly recommend if you are looking for an mansion / estate feel.

Jackie Workman: My sons wedding was better than we could have imagined! The flowers had just popped, the large tree was raining white flowers as we arrived and continued for hours. All the venders recommended did a fantastic job as well as the event coordinator. It truly was magical. My only concern was the parking but most people used Uber or prearranged rides and we had no issues. It was fabulous.

When we first went to the venue for a tour, Janet was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job of helping us envision our wedding in the space. We decided to book the venue immediately after our tour, and we are so glad we did! It has the bright, clean vibe that we were looking for, and was more affordable than comparable venues in the area. It’s also really customizable to make your dream wedding vision come to life!Working with Kaira on the details for our wedding was also great! She was very helpful and responsive. I came to the walkthrough that we did about a month before the wedding with a ton of questions, and she answered them all before I could even ask! It was such a smooth, easy process on our end. We also loved that security was included, so we didn’t have to worry about anything!The venue is so beautiful for a winter wedding, very cozy but still spacious. We took a lot of photos outside, and it looked so beautiful with a little bit of snow on the ground! We also loved the mural on the side of the building for photos.We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom, and the room flip during cocktail hour was totally seamless. We had a bar on the main floor and on the second floor during our cocktail hour, which was so nice to have more space for our guests and shorter lines for them to get drinks.We got so many comments from our guests on what a beautiful venue it was, and we were very happy with our choice to get married at The Blaisdell! Thank you Kaira, Janet, and Blaisdell staff for everything!!
Katie Griffith: We had our wedding at The Blaisdell and it was perfect! We had a headcount of around 140 and it was the perfect space for us. It allows for you to have the entire day in one space which is so convenient. There is a parking lot across the street for guests to utilize, in addition to street parking. We even had a live band, and there was plenty of space for that. The staff at The Blaisdell were so great and we truly enjoyed everything about the space. The space has a lot of charm on the inside, while allowing you to add your own decor and style to the space. The bridal suite was perfect too, and the wedding party really appreciated having that as a place to relax and spend the day. Would highly recommend this space! It is a hidden gem and so beautiful.
Meghan Finley: This is an absolutely incredible venue! Janet did an amazing job answering all of our questions and helping us imagine what our wedding could look like if we booked the venue. When she told us we could also hire Kaira as a day of coordinator - we knew immediately it was the right way to go. Kaira was instrumental in helping our day be as amazing as it was. If you book this venue, I HIGHLY recommend hiring Kaira as well - it was the best decision we made.
Terri St. Arnauld: For me, it was an excellent experience. Those with mobility issues might find it a little challenging if the main room needs to be emptied and re-arranged. I believe that entrance is in the back and I didn't see seating in the front area where we all waited.
Tina Tulsie: Janet and Kaira were great to work with! They were both very accommodating, informative, and quick to answer questions. The venue was perfect for our wedding and the front courtyard was amazing for our cocktail hour. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars is because the day-of venue coordinator was not helpful. She stayed in her office the entire day and did not seem like she wanted to be there.

Danelle: We enjoyed a wedding reception here. Odd shaped configuration but we had a separate space for appetizers and drinks and then the sit-down meal and dance in another space. Decor was nice, the appetizers were yummy, main course was good, band was great. A good time was had by all. Free Valet parking.

We had 155 people and it was spacious for everyone. We truly could not have had such of a great wedding without Victoria, the venue coordinator. Bradley George: Bryant lake bowl pride block party, Minneapolis Pride on the Friday during pride week is a must. Crowd is alternate, fun, and there to have a good time! Local bands, djs and drag performers that are lined up to perform are local top talent. One of Minneapolis pride weekend best kept secret.
Demetra Williamson: The space has a main and second floor. There were big windows that let a lot of natural light it which was nice. They had family style restrooms upstairs and a men and womens on the main floor. There was a bar/sink area in the middle of the front of the upstairs area which could be great, unfortunately for the event I went to the middle bar made it a bit difficult for people on the other side of the room to seem what was going on. Overall great and I loved the giant mirror they had on the stair case landing.

We had our Venue Tour + Vendor Meetup held on the 50th floor Windows at Marquette in downtown Minneapolis.We were so high up in the sky, one of the tallest skyscrapers in Minneapolis, the IDS building. You can seriously see for miles and miles out into the suburbs. Gorgeous spaces inside for any event with sweeping views outside with ceiling to floor windows.Marquette served a wonderful spread for brunch that included: toasted bagels slathered with cream cheese, capers and smoked salmon. Lots of fresh fruits, cantaloupe, melons, honeydew, melon, strawberries. And with the brunch theme there was wonderful toasted hashbrowns, and yummy quiche. Madeline Rana: Windows on Minnesota was a dream wedding venue. The views are spectacular, and bad weather won't ruin your day! We were lucky enough to have a clear, sunny day to fully enjoy the panoramic views, but going into my wedding without having to worry about a rainy day backup option gave me major peace of mind. The Marquette's team was also great to work with. They were helpful and communicative all throughout our planning process, and everything ran smoothly on the big day. The food was great, the bartenders were efficient, and everything went perfectly. They were also flexible and helped us to plan a multi-cultural fusion wedding, which was extremely important to us. Finally, having a hotel right there, across Crystal Court, made it smooth and easy for out of town guests to get to the wedding without needing to arrange special transportation. I can't imagine a better wedding venue.
Kara Haro: Working with the staff at Windows on Minnesota is a seamless process. They are communicative, pleasant and helpful and a real joy to work with. Both the planning/sales staff and the onsite staff during the event worked quickly and quietly to provide the best service for our event. The location can't be beat- your guests are in awe overlooking downtown Minneapolis and what lays beyond. Plus, the venue itself is interesting in the IDS tower, has ample parking available onsite and the furnishings and cleanliness are unparalleled. 5 stars!

Started the day with a get ready room prepared by the hotel and added on breakfast for the wedding party on the 3rd floor which was so spacious and made PERFECT get ready photos! Groomsmen used a suite to get ready in and we loved having our own spaces to keep the morning calm and special for all of us. Our ceremony was off site, but used Stars for a cocktail space for our 200 guests which had perfect views and LOVE the passed mushroom arancini appetizer!! My only recommendation is adding an extra bar

Lulle Photo and Film: Quincy Hall is an INCREDIBLE wedding venue -- we had the honor of photographing Maddy and Alec's wedding there in 2023 and the venue offers so much space! They also rented studio Q across the street for getting ready and it also worked really well for bridal party photos because it was raining out -- so having an additional space as an option was great for the couple!

The service for food is great. They even made sure the bathrooms were stocked and working while we were there.The only complaint I have is the chairs. Those hard steel chairs get REAL uncomfortable when you have to sit in them for 4 hours.

Their fast responses and quick communication made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. The wedding venue was beautifully set up and the ceremony was perfect - Amy had all the details in place for us so all we needed to do was show up and enjoy our time! If you are wanting professional event services but do not have a lot of time to do the planning yourself we would highly recommend Minne Weddings. All of our guests commented on how nice the set up was and the small bites and cake we selected were delicious. Having photography included was an added bonus and Eli was wonderful to work with. Lulle Photo and Film: We had the honor of photographing a wedding at the Holden Room for Lauren and Jake - their day was filled with so much joy and the Holden Room was the perfect location for their celebration. The tall ceilings, the modern vibe with so many beautiful features including the garage doors and windows. The space is stunning and truly you can make it your own or keep it super simple. The fact that it's attached to a coffee shop is very convenient and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing space to hold their urban wedding in Minneapolis.

Ryan Pacardo: We are so glad to have come across the page of The Little wedding when we were looking over the internet for a small wedding planner. Jamie & Symone are both amazing. They always put your thoughts and ideas first and always make sure everything is well planned. They are both professional and very friendly. What we liked the most is the simplicity of the way things worked out for our wedding. We made a couple of online meetings and voila a perfect wedding just like what we had on our minds. Kudos to the bouquet provider as well for the beautiful flowers and what a surprise, we only asked for 10 stems but we ended up having 15 for each bouquet and that is going an extra mile for us. I looked at getting married at the courthouse or another small venue. However, I really wanted to also have some photos, a bouquet and some music and I had a lot going on in my life and when I started thinking about putting that all together, it was stressful. I thought about waiting and going away to Hawaii and eloping because I did not want to plan it all! Then, I found this company online! We met via video and immediately I felt Symones enthusiasm and love of what she does. I did not worry at all, everything just happened! And, the venue was beautiful and reception area set up so nicely. They took care of every detail and I never thought I’d have enjoyed my wedding so much! If you want a small wedding, do not hesitate, message them! Oh, and there is a video live stream for those who cannot attend! The cake was freaking amazing too!! But, mostly, they are the most amazing women!
