There are ample spaces for your guests to spread out throughout the day, from the Wine Grotto in the basement to the front porch outdoors to the spacious ballroom upstairs. I was having so much fun upstairs that I actually forgot to even visit the Wine Grotto!Beyond the venue itself, the incredible coordinator, Katherine Bailey, makes the entire process so smooth and enjoyable. Katherine is the best! She is incredibly helpful and responsive, and I am so grateful to have had her on my team.I will always remember this place so fondly. Do yourself a favor and book Semple Mansion for your wedding! 10/10 recommend.

It can be difficult to find a mansion venue that doesn't feel broken up into rooms that split up the guests, but Semple Mansion has the perfect layouts & flow for both ceremony and reception needs. It's easy to spend the entire day there and not feel like you need a change of scene. It was also super convenient to utilize the high-quality vendors that are already based within Semple Mansion. Guest parking is no problem, the ballroom is stunning, and we also loved that we could utilize the grand piano for live music during our ceremony. We couldn't dream of a better wedding venue.

Flacko Bop: This is an amazing venue on the U of M campus that's open to the public and offer plenty of space for personal or private events not to mention D'Amico restaurant is also in the same building.

Elisabeth Clemans: We just got married at Day Block and it was wonderful. Chris and Jeff are nice and professional. The space is absolutely gorgeous and they were so accommodating to our plans and set up. Our bartender for the night, Jessica, was wonderful and personable! I definitely recommend Day Block for your wedding or event!
Kelly Duncan: Day Block was the perfect venue for my daughters wedding. The space is just beautiful and was exactly what we were hoping for - the decorations fit perfectly. Chris was very accommodating and responsive. It was all so wonderful and magical - the memories we have are priceless.
Ty Ebert: Like most people sharing here, I was at the venue for a wedding. I moved out of downtown before this opened a while back and had only been downstairs for the pizza and music. The event spaces was well put together and appropriately sized for a 100 to 125 person wedding. There was room to get away from the dancing and chill on the balcony facing US Bank Stadium. As it happens, there was live music in the restaurant patio itself and we got to enjoy that too!The food was good and the staff seemed very responsive to moving tables around when it came time to dance and cleaning up the occasional spilled drink.

Laura Guzman: We used Day Block for our ceremony, reception, and used their bar services. We picked them primarily because they had an open catering and bar policy and the space is really naturally beautiful. Brittany was our main point of contact and she was responsive to our questions and helped us figure out different options to help the day go smoothly. We ended up renting their first floor auxiliary taproom to move people downstairs during dinner for a cocktail hour and it worked great! It was also really nice that they had tables and chairs we could use for free. The space is beautiful and much more affordable than similar spaces in Minneapolis. We did hire a day-of coordinator to help manage a lot of the details of the day and would recommend others do the same. Also, we were so glad we used their bar services! The selection was great and well priced and the bar tenders managed our rowdy crowd well!

Ashli Theis: Day Block provides a very “hands off” experience, which is what we were looking for. We were able to bring in our own caterer and bar and that saved us a lot of money. It is a stunning space and they allow you to make it your own. We were sold on all of its natural elements: brick walls, hardwood floors and natural lighting. We had about 125 guests and we all fit pretty comfortably. Their event manager Brittany was really lovely to work with – she was kind and quick to respond to all of our questions. Ethan, the person we worked with on the day of, was very helpful with all of our needs.

Everything was so much more intimate and loving and beautiful than what our “big” wedding would’ve been. Amy and her whole team were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process, able to answer any question we had, made our first dance dreams come true, just everything we ever wanted we felt comfortable asking for and they executed it perfectly. Celisia Stanton: I am the owner of Celisia Stanton Photography, and one of my clients held their intimate wedding at The Neu Neu. The Neu Neu is a fantastic venue!! The getting-ready rooms have huge windows with tons of natural light, allowing us to capture indoor photos without struggling with awkward shadows or uneven lighting. The ceremony and reception took place in the same room, and the exposed brick and wood detailing provided the perfect backdrop for a moody, intimate celebration. My clients also made full use of The Neu Neu's outside space by setting up a badminton court, hiring the Style Society to provide an outdoor lounge area, and providing a Revere food truck for their guests to enjoy. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are beautiful, and I'd highly recommend The Neu Neu to anyone looking for a great venue in the heart of Minneapolis.
Chelsey: Our guest list ended up being a little larger than we originally anticipated, but Kitty and team were there to help us figure out a layout that ended up working perfectly. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue. Our bridal party also adored the Natural Light Studio & the 3rd St. Studio. Amy Lowry: It's a beautiful venue. They lay out is eclectic and interesting. I did not get to stay very long at the event so did not get a feel for the transition from wedding to reception. There is a coffee shop attached which is amazing to me!

Danelle: We enjoyed a wedding reception here. Odd shaped configuration but we had a separate space for appetizers and drinks and then the sit-down meal and dance in another space. Decor was nice, the appetizers were yummy, main course was good, band was great. A good time was had by all. Free Valet parking.

This venue is perfect for any client looking for a classic and romantic backdrop to their special day. The outside of The Blaisdell features stunning landscaping, so we were also able to capture gorgeous couples and bridal party photos in and around the venue itself. Located in the heart of Minneapolis, this is the perfect venue for anyone who wants a more classic wedding venue in a city environment. Highly recommend!
Jenna Januschka: Our experience at The Blaisdell was incredible! It is such a beautiful space, so it didn't take much to turn it into our perfect wedding venue! Kiara was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process and our day turned out incredible. The day felt intimate, but was still able to hold 200 of our guests comfortably! Highly recommend if you are looking for an mansion / estate feel.

Jackie Workman: My sons wedding was better than we could have imagined! The flowers had just popped, the large tree was raining white flowers as we arrived and continued for hours. All the venders recommended did a fantastic job as well as the event coordinator. It truly was magical. My only concern was the parking but most people used Uber or prearranged rides and we had no issues. It was fabulous.

When we first went to the venue for a tour, Janet was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job of helping us envision our wedding in the space. We decided to book the venue immediately after our tour, and we are so glad we did! It has the bright, clean vibe that we were looking for, and was more affordable than comparable venues in the area. It’s also really customizable to make your dream wedding vision come to life!Working with Kaira on the details for our wedding was also great! She was very helpful and responsive. I came to the walkthrough that we did about a month before the wedding with a ton of questions, and she answered them all before I could even ask! It was such a smooth, easy process on our end. We also loved that security was included, so we didn’t have to worry about anything!The venue is so beautiful for a winter wedding, very cozy but still spacious. We took a lot of photos outside, and it looked so beautiful with a little bit of snow on the ground! We also loved the mural on the side of the building for photos.We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom, and the room flip during cocktail hour was totally seamless. We had a bar on the main floor and on the second floor during our cocktail hour, which was so nice to have more space for our guests and shorter lines for them to get drinks.We got so many comments from our guests on what a beautiful venue it was, and we were very happy with our choice to get married at The Blaisdell! Thank you Kaira, Janet, and Blaisdell staff for everything!!
Katie Griffith: We had our wedding at The Blaisdell and it was perfect! We had a headcount of around 140 and it was the perfect space for us. It allows for you to have the entire day in one space which is so convenient. There is a parking lot across the street for guests to utilize, in addition to street parking. We even had a live band, and there was plenty of space for that. The staff at The Blaisdell were so great and we truly enjoyed everything about the space. The space has a lot of charm on the inside, while allowing you to add your own decor and style to the space. The bridal suite was perfect too, and the wedding party really appreciated having that as a place to relax and spend the day. Would highly recommend this space! It is a hidden gem and so beautiful.
Meghan Finley: This is an absolutely incredible venue! Janet did an amazing job answering all of our questions and helping us imagine what our wedding could look like if we booked the venue. When she told us we could also hire Kaira as a day of coordinator - we knew immediately it was the right way to go. Kaira was instrumental in helping our day be as amazing as it was. If you book this venue, I HIGHLY recommend hiring Kaira as well - it was the best decision we made.
Terri St. Arnauld: For me, it was an excellent experience. Those with mobility issues might find it a little challenging if the main room needs to be emptied and re-arranged. I believe that entrance is in the back and I didn't see seating in the front area where we all waited.
Tina Tulsie: Janet and Kaira were great to work with! They were both very accommodating, informative, and quick to answer questions. The venue was perfect for our wedding and the front courtyard was amazing for our cocktail hour. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars is because the day-of venue coordinator was not helpful. She stayed in her office the entire day and did not seem like she wanted to be there.

Ryan Jueneman: A'bulae was an incredible venue to host our wedding at. The venue is is designed very thoughtfully and has a great space for not only the ceremony and reception, but has perfect bridal / grooms suites to get ready in and convenient parking for guests. Both the rooftop and ball room make for great spaces. (One of the main reasons we chose A'bulae was the staff and that we liked both the indoor and outdoor spaces in the event of bad weather.The staff was also exactly what we needed. From setting up our first tour, to the day of the wedding - all of the venue staff were all incredibly easy to work with. They communicated quickly, helped us make decisions, and took care of so many small details when our attention was elsewhere.

My clients held their ceremony on the rooftop, which was perfect for an outdoor summer wedding vibe with a distinct city feel. The reception room inside also has the most perfect floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in tons of natural light, allowing us to capture indoor photos without struggling with awkward shadows or uneven lighting that are often present in other indoor reception venues. I highly recommend A'Bulae to any couple looking for the perfect indoor-outdoor wedding venue in the heart of St Paul!
Jerome Ellman: I was the captain valet worker of a private event the hosting company was the Marsden group.The A'Bulae staff was very cooperative and kind in assisting valet with an extra person on the inside to help with arrivals and departures.Thank you to Katelyn and Amy for the assistance with valet customers and the communication was excellent.
Bryan Forrester: The venue is beautiful and the staff was very efficient. However, the acoustics in the main room are terrible. It needs sound absorption treatment. There is so much reverberation that you can't understand anything being said over the sound system which is especially unfortunate at a wedding.

Katie McCarthy: Absolutely the perfect place for our wedding! We wanted an all inclusive venue where we didn’t have to worry about set up, tear down, decor, table linens, silverware, napkins, charger plates… anything that almost all other venues do not provide! Communication with the venue leading up to our wedding day was also amazing. They made sure to reach out for information and answered our questions in a very timely manner! Brian Barry: - we needed a home base for family & the wedding party. Liz was a helpful & communicative point of contact throughout the process, she worked well with our vendors & wedding planners. We also appreciated the freedom to choose our own vendors! This allowed us to shape our day just how we wanted and ended up saving money too. We seated our guests inside for the ceremony due to weather, but they still had access to the outdoor alley area for the night. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

I love this space so much. Each wedding has it's own personality and this space really elevates the energy. The surrounding area is industrial and so much fun for me to get creative with each time. I have never run out of new ideas and places to shoot. Truly some of my most favorite weddings I have had the opportunity to capture have been at Paikka. The staff is lovely and have been incredible to work with each time!I can't wait to be back!

Steven Sporre: My wife and I got married here almost three years ago. The planning phase was super easy and smooth. We got compliments the entire night about how amazing the wedding looked. We had to move our wedding inside due to rain and the inside wedding was awesome. The owners are great to work with and help with some of the planning. Would highly recommend to all engaged couples!

Amy Miller: , that are heated or air conditioned, depending on the season. There's a beautiful dancing barn that honestly didn't require any decorating. There's plenty of parking on site. You get to stay in a BEAUTIFUL honeymoon suite the night of your wedding. We stayed in the treehouse which was so much fun! And we rented the other honeymoon suite as a gift to our officiant. And there are goats! That you can pet and feed. Seriously, it's a great venue! I wanted to have a magical Geek themed wedding that was still classy, and this venue was perfect!
Tim Drake: Amazing venues for weddings, reunions, get-aways. The grounds and buildings are lovely. The treehouse is like a storybook. The pavilion looks like something from a state or national park. It has a barn for gathering. Absolutely incredible and close to everything you need. The hosts are wonderful and hospitable, very friendly. Highly recommend.
