TCWEP Network: We had The Deco Catering do one of the dishes at our yearly Gala + Award Show event. This year they made Sun-dried Tomato Tapenade Brushcetta. Was very tasty. We recommend them for your catering needs!
Jenna Wood: We ordered food to be catered in for a work holiday party, and I was impressed at first contact with Kasey. She followed up promptly after my online inquiry and was able to provide me a quote within minutes. She was very responsive with further questions regarding dietary concerns, and the ordering process was seamless. The day of the event, Christy arrived to deliver the food and set everything up, including sternos, warmers, and table tents describing each food item. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the Swedish meatballs. The spanakopita disappeared before I could try it, but was definitely a crowd favorite! We will definitely be using The Deco for future catered events.

All of our guests loved the taco bar! The staff onsite was very kind and attentive and continued to show that throughout the entire night. No complaints!
Alaina Kaganovich: We chose Deco for our wedding for several reasons. One, they were in the mid-range for cost. Two, absolutely delicious. We opted for Buttler passed appetizers, entrees, and late night pizza through the caterer. We actually ended up doing 2 tastings to confirm our choices, which was accommodated with no problem. Many of our guests at this wedding eat a kosher diet, so we had to book another caterer for the kosher food. Deco was more than willing to pass out those entrees as well, no questions asked. We have absolutely no complaints about this caterer and everyone LOVED their meals. Their platting was gorgeous, the food was served warm, and the fish/chicken was not dry.

In particular, everyone complimented the roasted veggies and baked brie cheese served during the pre-ceremony social hour – it was one of the most delicious appetizers we've ever had. Tarin Mickelson: We hired Deco for our wedding caterer and their food is to die for! It’s way better than your traditional wedding dinner food. All of their dishes have so much flavor and all of our guests genuinely enjoyed their meals. The staff at Deco was more than accommodating and were absolutely wonderful to work with. We were able to schedule a personal tasting experience and try all of the food in advance. They made that such a fun experience for us. We liked the flexibility of choosing which desserts to try versus a pre-selected tray for our trial. We made our decision pretty quickly, and all our guests appreciated the variety in options. Jen Boyles: When we first worked with Deco, Danielle was our coordinator. She was incredibly knowledgeable about our venue as well as Deco’s menu options. She was wonderful to work with for our tasting, and she was super friendly. We had to postpone our 6/6/20 wedding, and she worked quickly to get us rescheduled to 6/12/21.Due to the slow roll out of the vaccine at the beginning of 2021 and 80% of our guests coming from out of state, we decided to push our date one last time to 11/6/21. As soon as we rebooked with the venue, I reached out to Danielle to reschedule again. I found out that Danielle had left Deco, and Antigoni was our new coordinator. She got us rescheduled right away which was helpful.Prior to COVID, Danielle met with us for a tasting. I can’t tell you how amazing the food was just at the tasting! I’ve been to weddings before, and most of them had average food. We did our tasting in 2019, and we kept talking about how good it was up until our actual wedding.A couple weeks before the wedding, our event manager Sam reached out to confirm all our counts and made sure we had everything we needed set up for the day. She was so easy to work with. I’m so appreciative of the entire staff at Deco!The day of, the food was just as good as we remembered! Our passed appetizers were the California sliders, sweet chili chicken skewers, and bruschetta. Our entree choices were the beef tenderloin, wild rice stuffed chicken, and three cheese lasagna. We also had a late-night snack of tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese. It’s been two weeks since our wedding, and our friends and family are still talking about the food!I’m so thankful we had such an amazing caterer. Our food was amazing, and everyone was so easy to work with!

The service was flawless - the food appeared and disappeared with guests hardly noticing, and the same was true for table clean-up. The food was good, and the pricing for food/service was very reasonable. We would DEFINITELY use them again next year.

Jason Sechan: I had a wedding reception at a park due to Covid reasons and these guys game in so clutch. The whole experience was great. The staff were friendly and responsive during the planning proccess. The menu was so customizable which really helped with me having a less traditional reception. We were in a rush so we only gave them 2 weeks to prepare but the food was amazing.We got the beef sirloin, grilled chicken with mango salsa, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, penne pasta, with cheesecake for dessert and everything tasted so good. We had leftovers and I'm disappointed that they are running out. I can't recommend these guys more.

Alla is very experienced and was able to even provide two separate menus for our wedding, and worked extremely well with our venue and other vendors.

We had 100 guests - Alla was excellent with communication from a quick response with a quote, accommodated allergies and offered gluten free options, and confirmation of all details before the event. She and her team arrived on time to set up for the party - the homemade luncheon was beautifully presented on large platters and tiered plates. We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was - fresh sandwiches in wraps and on rolls, large fruit and veggie trays and delicious lettuce and pasta salads. She set up a drink table with lemonade and tea - guests enjoyed combining for arefreshing beverage! Her staff kept the food table replenished and clean - they picked up guest plates throughout the event and emptied waste containers, so everything stayed tidy! I have Alla/Twin Cities Catering as a contact in my phone and look forward to working with Alla and her team on future events! Truly a game delightful experience!

She helped with final changes to our order, easily managed dietaries, and executed a great event day-of.We had a family style meal and got many compliments on how fast the food was served and how much people enjoyed the variety, and that the food was tasty. The pasta was delicious and we loved the bacon wrapped dates too.GreenMill was able to offer us no fees for an external cake cutting and a reasonable corkage fee for the wine we brought in. The staff was professional and efficient. Thanks GreenMill team!
Christopher Karch: My wife and I hired Green Mill to be our wedding day caterer. We had an excellent experience with them. About a year prior to our wedding we had a taste test with them and that was the first and last taste test we had. The food was excellent and it was a fun experience. Leading up to our wedding day they were thorough and provided prompt communication to my wife and I. They helped us nail down a timeline for our meal and gave sound advice on how to keep the day flowing nicely. The food was great as well and all Green Mill employees were professional throughout. I would definietly recommend Green Mill Catering to any bride and groom.

I will say the chicken looked different than it looked at the tasting but the taste was there even though the presentation of the chicken was not as beautiful as it was on the tasting day. It was still delicious. I highly recommend. I will definitely use the services again!

My family was trying to set up the centerpieces on the tables of the reception hall in the morning, but staff weren't going to arrive until 1:30. I called Katie and asked if her staff could put the centerpieces on once they put the linens on the tables, which she gladly agreed to. Maybe this is customary, but she was great at reassuring me that everything would be handled. Cody also did a great job day of. I did not get to interact with him much, but my parents had a lot of compliments for him for being so kind and professional. Great job, Green Mill!
Carly Zumach: I hired Green Mill Catering for my wedding as my now husband and I wanted to serve breakfast food as our dinner. It was difficult finding a caterer that served breakfast, wasn't outrageously expensive, and allowed for a buffet-style dinner. When I tell you that our guests couldn't stop talking about the food, I'm not lying. Everyone LOVED the food! The servers were great and so kind! Cassie Wagner: Green Mill Catering & Bar Service was so easy to work with. We did a lunch buffet and the food was delicious! The day-of staff did an amazing job with set-up, dismissing tables, managing the bar, etc. I would highly recommend Green Mill to anybody and everybody for any event!

Laura Phillipp Tucker: Green Mill Catering was overall a good experience. Initially, we thought they would cater our January 2021 wedding reception at Watson Block. In the end, we had to pivot to hosting a small dinner at home with our immediate families and Green Mill was able to rework our existing menu to fit the significantly smaller crowd. It was a challenge to navigate all the changes due to COVID and Walz's restrictions. We finalized our reception/dinner details two weeks before the wedding day and Green Mill adapted. The only criticism is that email replies were a bit slow at times. We think it's completely caused by staffing impacted by COVID. Sarah appeared to run the show, so we understand the delay. Also, it would've been nice for Green Mill to proactively request an alternate contact on our end for delivery communications the night of the wedding. The food was delicious and because we catered to our house, we served it buffet style which allowed for people to try more of the food than would have been served on their plated meal at Watson Block. Overall, no complaints and they delivered despite all the COVID changes.

David Sheldon: We hosted a celebration of life for my 99 year-old mother and the staff was most helpful in setting everything up and pulling off the evening. The food was excellent - way beyond typical banquet food. Everything went without a hitch. The only reluctance in giving a 5* is the funky location. Situated in an industrial district and a little difficult to find make it slightly lacking if seeking a prestigious entry location. But the rest well made up for this for our purposes.
Martin Benson: We contracted with Create for an event that included a midday "dinner" with wine and bar. We are not from MSP, so all arrangements were made by email or phone.They were awesome to communicate with during the planning phase, which included menu selection and arrangement of additional services such as a TV for a slide show and referral to a florist. Their suggestions regarding quantities of portions for appetizers were excellent, as was their suggestion of setting up a charcuterie table. Best goat cheese I ever had.The appetizers and entrees were excellent as one would expect of fine dining. The wines were good, and the service was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant. Not a surly one in the bunch!The event went off flawlessly. No complaints whatsoever and we would certainly use them again if a similar occasion arose.

Chef Phil and his team provided us all with such delicious and thoughtful food. The space was perfect for our intimate guest list and thankfully the weather held up for us to use their gorgeous patio for photos and our first dance as well! We still dream of the mushroom risotto cakes and can not recommend this space or this team enough!

Greg Miller: Last Saturday we had Orlando and his assistant Bethany prepare a five course meal for our 27 guests at our home for my wife’s birthday party. Orlando was very helpful with preparing an interesting menu from several countries for a fabulous combination of tastes. They did all the shopping and came to our house with a truck load of pots, pans, spices, and groceries. They were both so nice and knowledgeable. Our guests were blown away by the quality, quantity, and presentation of all of the foods. The flavors were outstanding. It was a larger group but they did a super job. The courses were about 20 minutes apart so the timing was great as our friend ate and then moved around and kept the wine and the conversations flowing. In the end they cleaned the kitchen perfectly and headed on home. I highly recommend Orlando and the Global Chef Cusine.

Paul Jarvis: Ordered 4 premium box lunches from Atiki’s for passengers on a corporate flight out of Signature Flight Support at Minneapolis International Airport. Brooke at Atiki’s took my order, and confirmed it with an email. Catering arrived on time, beautifully packaged and was quite tasty. The bill, however, was a shocker. I am used to seeing highly and unjustly inflated prices for corporate catering, but this was out of the ordinary and felt as if my company had been gouged for $347. Simply outrageous. I emailed Brooke after the flight, but to date have received no response with any explanation or apology. I’ll know next time to order carefully and be specific when it comes to pricing. Five stars turned into three and a big disappointment because of service and price gouging.Update! Atiki’s reads Google reviews! Not only do they read the reviews, they take them VERY seriously. Within a small while after posting the above review, Atiki’s emailed me to make it all right. In a timely manner a refund adjustment was issued to make the charges customary, and following the adjustment issue, I received a personal follow up phone call to insure that the adjustment had been received. Further, Victoria at Atiki’s assured me that the management there was appreciative of my comments and that they had adjusted some of their protocols for the future. Good job, Atiki’s! And thank you Victoria for not only being concerned about customer satisfaction, but you insure customer return, and you demonstrate good business practice! 5 stars! See you again soon!

We picked the meal choices during a meal tasting - the hard part was narrowing it all down! At the reception, the food was a big hit! We went with a buffet - bacon crusted chicken and a vegetarian penne pasta. Our sides were roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts. The buffet also included a salad. The servers kept the buffet moving and were quick to clear plates or get what we needed. We were also able to order a la carte meals for our guests with specific dietary needs. There was plenty to go around. Affordable, professional and tasty.

Callison Olson: I have always been one of those people that think wedding food is pretty underrated, until D'Amico did our wedding at Ashery Lane Farm. We had the best experience. They were so professional, helpful, and the food was delicious.I had guests coming up to me all night saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We had people say how amazing the food was even weeks after. It was memorable and left great impressions on all of our guests. I did wish that they had a few more options for the bar as we have a crowd that likes different types of drinks but that is okay there was still something for everyone!I would recommend using D'amico over and over again!

However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. Every expectation I had was exceeded by orders of magnitude and I had high expectations. Do your event here. You will not regret it.

The salami was slowly eaten in razor thin slices. The bread was rendered into some wonderful roast chicken sandwiches. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on the Bodega Blue.....Pears Stilton! My wife and I enjoyed the best blue cheese stuffed pears ever made. I look forward to future forages at the Food Building.

Peter Myers: We had a wonderful experience at the Minnesota Boat Club, managed by Mintahoe Catering & Events. We rented the space to do some filming for a documentary film, so there was no catering involved. But the space was great and the staff was very accommodating. The river views from the porch are among the best anywhere in Saint Paul.

Jasna Burza: Jo is such an incredible chef! My husband and I have attended her Social Suppers and absolutely loved it. She brings a flavor of the world that is hard to find in Minnesota: the most incredible pastas that makes you think you are in Tuscany. The tastes are so distinct and you feel like you travel the world with every spoonful. She is so passionate about food and, her food is absolutely delicious. On top of it, she is one of the most delightful people you will ever meet. Whether you want to attend Social Suppers or hire her as a chef, you cannot go wrong.

Matthew Barrett: My wife and I contracted them for our wedding. The food was amazing and the people are incredibly easy to work with. If and/or when we need a catering company, we will definitely hire them again.
mary hite: My Aunt passed away on Thursday. Friday afternoon my cousins were able to give us details - viewing on Monday late afternoon and graveside services Tuesday morning. I called multiple caterers, many who wanted a larger order or more time. I left a voice mail at Best Affordable Catering. About 4:45, Wade called me back. I explained the situation and that I wanted to deliver a meal to my cousins and their families. Wade said no problem. I asked what he would suggest and he offered a nice menu. When he gave me the cost, it was much less than I had intended to spend. I told Wade I thought the menu sounded great, but what could we add? Wade added a second protein, vegetables and a dessert assortment. He gave me a time he would deliver on Monday. Wade did everything he said he would, called me when he had made the delivery and charged exactly what we had agreed to. My cousins said the food was wonderful, and raved about the Swedish meatballs! They were so appreciative of having a delicious meal prepared for them on such a difficult day. Wade was an ANGEL for my family!

I recently had my mother's celebration of life and I decided to order 100 box lunches, the food came fresh and on time. Wade the owner personally came to make sure everything was right. teresa kemmer: Our family used ABC catering for a funeral luncheon. They took care of everything we requested and more. The food arrived on time and was a large amount per serving. Many leftovers for an after luncheon get together. ABC made a very stressful time easier.
