Callison Olson: I have always been one of those people that think wedding food is pretty underrated, until D'Amico did our wedding at Ashery Lane Farm. We had the best experience. They were so professional, helpful, and the food was delicious.I had guests coming up to me all night saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We had people say how amazing the food was even weeks after. It was memorable and left great impressions on all of our guests. I did wish that they had a few more options for the bar as we have a crowd that likes different types of drinks but that is okay there was still something for everyone!I would recommend using D'amico over and over again!

Jessica Yoss: We held a Parkinson's Conference in the McNamara Alumni Center and hosted a welcome reception at the Weisman Art gallery on campus with D'amico catering. Mallory and Bree were very responsive and accommodating to all my changes and were easy and professional to work with. The food was also great and we received many compliments from our guests. Everything was so great, we've placed a hold on the same space next year! I do not think you will be disappointed with the staff or the food.

Ashley Ziegenhagen: D'Amico Catering was our wedding venue's exclusive caterer so we did not choose them - however, they were everything we wanted in a caterer and more! Their communication was SO organized and the structure was so helpful during the wedding planning process. We did not have to worry about our catering needs at all, D'Amico is a well oiled machine and knows exactly what they are doing. It helped that they knew our venue like the back of their hand so they worked in conjunction with our venue seamlessly. It made us feel so good to not have to worry about the logistics leading up to the event.Our event planner was so thorough and helpful when we had questions and needed to bounce ideas around. She was able to offer advice based on past experience and helped us to make the most effective and tasty choices for our food and beverages based on our budget and tastes.Our tasting was excellent and left us even more assured that any and all food served at our wedding would be amazing. That certainly held true - at our reception we heard from almost every person that we talked to that the food was beyond excellent. Our guests were RAVING about the food all night!

TCWEP Network: We had The Deco Catering do one of the dishes at our yearly Gala + Award Show event. This year they made Sun-dried Tomato Tapenade Brushcetta. Was very tasty. We recommend them for your catering needs!
Jenna Wood: We ordered food to be catered in for a work holiday party, and I was impressed at first contact with Kasey. She followed up promptly after my online inquiry and was able to provide me a quote within minutes. She was very responsive with further questions regarding dietary concerns, and the ordering process was seamless. The day of the event, Christy arrived to deliver the food and set everything up, including sternos, warmers, and table tents describing each food item. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the Swedish meatballs. The spanakopita disappeared before I could try it, but was definitely a crowd favorite! We will definitely be using The Deco for future catered events.

All of our guests loved the taco bar! The staff onsite was very kind and attentive and continued to show that throughout the entire night. No complaints!
Alaina Kaganovich: We chose Deco for our wedding for several reasons. One, they were in the mid-range for cost. Two, absolutely delicious. We opted for Buttler passed appetizers, entrees, and late night pizza through the caterer. We actually ended up doing 2 tastings to confirm our choices, which was accommodated with no problem. Many of our guests at this wedding eat a kosher diet, so we had to book another caterer for the kosher food. Deco was more than willing to pass out those entrees as well, no questions asked. We have absolutely no complaints about this caterer and everyone LOVED their meals. Their platting was gorgeous, the food was served warm, and the fish/chicken was not dry.

All of their dishes have so much flavor and all of our guests genuinely enjoyed their meals. The staff at Deco was more than accommodating and were absolutely wonderful to work with. She was wonderful to work with for our tasting, and she was super friendly. We had to postpone our 6/6/20 wedding, and she worked quickly to get us rescheduled to 6/12/21.Due to the slow roll out of the vaccine at the beginning of 2021 and 80% of our guests coming from out of state, we decided to push our date one last time to 11/6/21. As soon as we rebooked with the venue, I reached out to Danielle to reschedule again. I found out that Danielle had left Deco, and Antigoni was our new coordinator. She got us rescheduled right away which was helpful.Prior to COVID, Danielle met with us for a tasting. I can’t tell you how amazing the food was just at the tasting! I’ve been to weddings before, and most of them had average food. We did our tasting in 2019, and we kept talking about how good it was up until our actual wedding.A couple weeks before the wedding, our event manager Sam reached out to confirm all our counts and made sure we had everything we needed set up for the day. She was so easy to work with. I’m so appreciative of the entire staff at Deco!The day of, the food was just as good as we remembered! Our passed appetizers were the California sliders, sweet chili chicken skewers, and bruschetta. Our entree choices were the beef tenderloin, wild rice stuffed chicken, and three cheese lasagna. We also had a late-night snack of tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese. It’s been two weeks since our wedding, and our friends and family are still talking about the food!I’m so thankful we had such an amazing caterer. Our food was amazing, and everyone was so easy to work with!

Lisa Lane: The staff, food and experience at Create Catering and the Dining Studio is a perfect 10! From the very first meeting to the end of the party absolutely everything is flawless. The staff is beyond wonderful and extremely attentive. The food is exceptional and the overall experience is truly everything we hoped for. Kris Hayden: We had the most wonderful food at our University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine event. The event was catered by Create at the Minnesota Orchestra Hall. We had some many rave reviews from all of our guests on how good the food was. Literally all the food was gone. Just the yummy crumbs from after the fact. The staff was so wonderful to work with. David Sheldon: We hosted a celebration of life for my 99 year-old mother and the staff was most helpful in setting everything up and pulling off the evening. The food was excellent - way beyond typical banquet food. Everything went without a hitch. The only reluctance in giving a 5* is the funky location. Situated in an industrial district and a little difficult to find make it slightly lacking if seeking a prestigious entry location. But the rest well made up for this for our purposes.
Martin Benson: We contracted with Create for an event that included a midday "dinner" with wine and bar. We are not from MSP, so all arrangements were made by email or phone.They were awesome to communicate with during the planning phase, which included menu selection and arrangement of additional services such as a TV for a slide show and referral to a florist. Their suggestions regarding quantities of portions for appetizers were excellent, as was their suggestion of setting up a charcuterie table. Best goat cheese I ever had.The appetizers and entrees were excellent as one would expect of fine dining. The wines were good, and the service was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant. Not a surly one in the bunch!The event went off flawlessly. No complaints whatsoever and we would certainly use them again if a similar occasion arose.

Joan and Chef Philip helped us curate a delicious menu that fit our theme AND accommodated all dietary restrictions and allergies. We had a guest list of omnivores, vegetarians, gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free individuals and no one left hungry. Chef Phil and his team provided us all with such delicious and thoughtful food. The space was perfect for our intimate guest list and thankfully the weather held up for us to use their gorgeous patio for photos and our first dance as well! We still dream of the mushroom risotto cakes and can not recommend this space or this team enough!

Matthew Barrett: My wife and I contracted them for our wedding. The food was amazing and the people are incredibly easy to work with. If and/or when we need a catering company, we will definitely hire them again.
mary hite: My Aunt passed away on Thursday. Friday afternoon my cousins were able to give us details - viewing on Monday late afternoon and graveside services Tuesday morning. I called multiple caterers, many who wanted a larger order or more time. I left a voice mail at Best Affordable Catering. About 4:45, Wade called me back. I explained the situation and that I wanted to deliver a meal to my cousins and their families. Wade said no problem. I asked what he would suggest and he offered a nice menu. When he gave me the cost, it was much less than I had intended to spend. I told Wade I thought the menu sounded great, but what could we add? Wade added a second protein, vegetables and a dessert assortment. He gave me a time he would deliver on Monday. Wade did everything he said he would, called me when he had made the delivery and charged exactly what we had agreed to. My cousins said the food was wonderful, and raved about the Swedish meatballs! They were so appreciative of having a delicious meal prepared for them on such a difficult day. Wade was an ANGEL for my family!

TCWEP Network: We had The Green Mill do one of the dishes at our yearly Gala + Award Show event. This year they made Chicken Meatball Skewers, topped with provolone and basil pesto. Was very tasty. We recommend them for your catering needs!

The value provided for price paid was excellent.Sarah Carter helped us up front and was responsive to me and my mom. It was easy to pick items from the menu and understand the pricing. Sarah updated the quotes regularly.Our execution partner, Katie Melland, was also great to work with. She was patient and understanding with me. She helped with final changes to our order, easily managed dietaries, and executed a great event day-of.We had a family style meal and got many compliments on how fast the food was served and how much people enjoyed the variety, and that the food was tasty. The pasta was delicious and we loved the bacon wrapped dates too.GreenMill was able to offer us no fees for an external cake cutting and a reasonable corkage fee for the wine we brought in. The staff was professional and efficient. Thanks GreenMill team!
Christopher Karch: My wife and I hired Green Mill to be our wedding day caterer. We had an excellent experience with them. About a year prior to our wedding we had a taste test with them and that was the first and last taste test we had. The food was excellent and it was a fun experience. Leading up to our wedding day they were thorough and provided prompt communication to my wife and I. They helped us nail down a timeline for our meal and gave sound advice on how to keep the day flowing nicely. The food was great as well and all Green Mill employees were professional throughout. I would definietly recommend Green Mill Catering to any bride and groom.

Both were so delicious.Before the wedding mh design team needed had a small window of time to set up the tables so I called Katie and asked if I could pick up linens a few days before. She easily accommodated this request.Day of the wedding the food was delicious. My guests are still talking about how good the food was. Apps and mail course. I will say the chicken looked different than it looked at the tasting but the taste was there even though the presentation of the chicken was not as beautiful as it was on the tasting day. It was still delicious. I highly recommend. I will definitely use the services again!

My family was trying to set up the centerpieces on the tables of the reception hall in the morning, but staff weren't going to arrive until 1:30. I called Katie and asked if her staff could put the centerpieces on once they put the linens on the tables, which she gladly agreed to. Maybe this is customary, but she was great at reassuring me that everything would be handled. Cody also did a great job day of. I did not get to interact with him much, but my parents had a lot of compliments for him for being so kind and professional. Great job, Green Mill!
Carly Zumach: I hired Green Mill Catering for my wedding as my now husband and I wanted to serve breakfast food as our dinner. It was difficult finding a caterer that served breakfast, wasn't outrageously expensive, and allowed for a buffet-style dinner. When I tell you that our guests couldn't stop talking about the food, I'm not lying. Everyone LOVED the food! The servers were great and so kind! I worked with Katie and Sarah and both were incredibly helpful in their communication. I'd recommend Green Mill Catering any day!

Laura Phillipp Tucker: Green Mill Catering was overall a good experience. Initially, we thought they would cater our January 2021 wedding reception at Watson Block. In the end, we had to pivot to hosting a small dinner at home with our immediate families and Green Mill was able to rework our existing menu to fit the significantly smaller crowd. It was a challenge to navigate all the changes due to COVID and Walz's restrictions. We finalized our reception/dinner details two weeks before the wedding day and Green Mill adapted. The only criticism is that email replies were a bit slow at times. We think it's completely caused by staffing impacted by COVID. Sarah appeared to run the show, so we understand the delay. Also, it would've been nice for Green Mill to proactively request an alternate contact on our end for delivery communications the night of the wedding. The food was delicious and because we catered to our house, we served it buffet style which allowed for people to try more of the food than would have been served on their plated meal at Watson Block. Overall, no complaints and they delivered despite all the COVID changes.

Christina Clemens: So many good things to say here. Chelsea was amazing and made everything so easy. We did a grazing board for my Dads Celebration of life and everyone loved it. The mixture of options was a hit but if you have beef tenderloin lovers, add more. That was the first to go because it was soo good! Also, we did his favorite dessert that was carrot cake cupcakes. They were wonderful and people were going back for seconds. Chelsea said it was award winning recipe and I 100% agree. Thanks again for making my Dad's celebration special. ❤️ We will be repeat customers, for sure!

Their pricing is very reasonable, Greg's dishes are fantastic while still accommodating nut allergies and Celiac disease, and Chelsea does a great job coordinating and communicating throughout the entire process of planning. And don't get us started on the pies. Great people, great food, great service!

Catie Bruggeman: We had quite the back and forth deciding but ultimately went with the Prime rib, Walleye, chicken, and a vegan option! Jerry, the chef did an incredible job at preparing our favorites. We had so many people comments on how good the walleye was! This ended being a great choice because Chef Jerry's food was so delicious at our wedding.Kane's staff showed up on time, set up quickly, had the food ready when we wanted it to be, and took down quickly as well. We barely knew when they arrived, set up, and took everything down.If you want a large menu to choose from, great food, a dedicated team, and awesome 'day of' service - you definitely need to check Kane's out!!!

Katie could not have been more awesome to deal with. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and just all around wonderful. She always got back to me with my million questions and was so patient with me. You will love working with Katie!! And the day of the event, wow, what a wonderful staff. Rebecca, the lead, I just can't say enough how great she was. She was in contact with me throughout the evening and keeping me informed of what was happening, when I wanted things to happen, etc. She was top notch. And the staff she brought with -- so pleasant, friendly and helpful. I even had guests comment on how nice the catering staff was. And lastly and most importantly, the food...the food was absolutely delicious...fried chicken was divine and sweet potatoes better than I've ever had. Again, this is should be your only stop when looking for a caterer!!

Katie did a great job helping me plan and organize the day. They were easy to talk to and well priced for wonderful food and service!! We loved all of our food and they were able to accommodate all gluten free dinner meals to make things easier. They created a dairy free gluten free meal for one of my bridesmaids and the service was great. I loved all the food I ate, and so did my husband. The guests told us how great the food was too. I was really happy with Kane’s and would definitely recommend them! They are a small business and they are so awesome and delicious!!

Jason Sechan: I had a wedding reception at a park due to Covid reasons and these guys game in so clutch. The whole experience was great. The staff were friendly and responsive during the planning proccess. The menu was so customizable which really helped with me having a less traditional reception. We were in a rush so we only gave them 2 weeks to prepare but the food was amazing.We got the beef sirloin, grilled chicken with mango salsa, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, penne pasta, with cheesecake for dessert and everything tasted so good. We had leftovers and I'm disappointed that they are running out. I can't recommend these guys more.

Peter Myers: We had a wonderful experience at the Minnesota Boat Club, managed by Mintahoe Catering & Events. We rented the space to do some filming for a documentary film, so there was no catering involved. But the space was great and the staff was very accommodating. The river views from the porch are among the best anywhere in Saint Paul.

The team was very responsive and asked all the right questions to ensure our guests had the best dining experience possible. We loved that the linens were included in our quote and that we could pick them up ahead of time to set up our reception area. They had a beautiful setup and plenty of staff to keep the food tables fresh and full as well as to ensure our guests were moving through the line efficiently to keep our schedule on track. Our guests kept commenting on how great the food was, we couldn’t agree more!

We picked the meal choices during a meal tasting - the hard part was narrowing it all down! At the reception, the food was a big hit! We went with a buffet - bacon crusted chicken and a vegetarian penne pasta. Our sides were roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts. The buffet also included a salad. The servers kept the buffet moving and were quick to clear plates or get what we needed. We were also able to order a la carte meals for our guests with specific dietary needs. There was plenty to go around. Affordable, professional and tasty.
