Helios “Sol” Corvid: Great medium sized bike shop for the area! They didn't have what I was looking for, but they were super helpful. I'm on the market for a class 2 e-bike and they only have class ones. But the sales clerk was very helpful and informative! I will definitely consider returning if I'm in need of anything else!

The hybrid bike performed great on Minneapolis's fabulous lakeside/riverside trails and on the bike lanes downtown.

Amelie Collins: I bought an ebike from this location a year ago after I demoed one at a bike to work day. I quickly put on 1000 miles last summer. And commuted 40 miles 2 or 3 times a week since it was so much easier. All the people at this location were so helpful and nice. I got into a crash later in the season and thought I would be in for a really expensive repair but Chris made the wheel true and fixed the spokes and everything for $40. That was such a huge relief. Right now this place is temporarily closed but I hope they can open soon because I really love it.

I've also heard they are a great place for dynamo hubs and related accessories.Knocking a star off because one time I brought my bike in for a minor fix and they lubed my chain, which added an extra $20 to my bill. I wish they had just told me to lube it. For a working class person that’s basically just throwing money away.

I got a call about 45 minutes later saying they resolved the issue! Not only that, but it was such a simple fix that they didn't charge us. I will be going to Farmstead for our annual bike service and maintenance for a long time to come.

Good advice, great communication.Took our 'daycare commuter' in the other day to have some issues addressed with the rear hub - they took care of the problem and went above and beyond to get the bike back quickly and with little surprises thrown in too: a brake adjustment and the nuisance of all nuisances resolved -- they got the pesky leather handlebar grip slid back into place once and for all. Didn't ask for either fix, but the tech noticed both were in need and did it anyway and we left with a much better ride than we came in with! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Despite this, the staff were super chill and personable and even suggested I take an additional bike out for a test. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a bike shop in this area.

Will Coughlin: Cool spot. Was not able to test ride exactly what I wanted, but was able to get some other recommendations and try out some alternatives. Can tell they really want to hook you up with a bike you'll love and tune it just to you!
Gary Carver: Came here yesterday with little tires for my dog stroller that had crooked valves that weaved between my spokes. The guy replaced them with brand new inner tubes with proper straight valves and filled them up to their proper PSI. It was far from my house but worth the service that went above and beyond my expectations. The staff here knew what they were doing, something that I could not say for the mom & pop shops closer to me. I highly recommend this place!
Rachel Saunders: Great shop. Everyone is extremely helpful. Highly recommend Stephen for a bike fitting. I recently had this done. Stephen was incredibly knowledgeable and spent extra time to answer all of my questions as a beginner cyclist. I just took my bike out for the first time since the fitting and it was like riding a different bike. Totally worth it.

Joe Justjoe: I dealt with Scott and Rapheal in web sales during a search to find a new replacement downtube battery for a bicycle brand Angry Catfish doesn't even sell. Both of these gents went beyond great customer service. I didn't end up buying my battery through Angry Catfish Bicycle, but the service was so excellent during the search that I'm going to give them 5 stars.

I had an initial minor complaint and they went out of their way to resolve the issue above and beyond my expectations. Great service, will be using them for any special orders moving forward. A+
Matthew Wiss: I dropped off my Specialized bike at ACF Bicycle Shop on November 6th and it was ready for pick-up on November 8th. ACF even had to order a part, and still rebuilt my entire bike in about 2 days. My bike has never shifted or rode smoother since I bought it brand new in 2015. I highly recommend ACF and will have all my bike repairs done by ACF going forward!
