But I returned within my exchange timeline and was able to test ride another bike which I did fall in love with. Illyana was so kind and helpful and really helped me out. It also has a bone yard where you can buy used parts in good condition at good prices. Unfortunately the store is closing down. It's easier to get things online for cheaper. Also felt like repair times took too long during the busy season.

Will Coughlin: Showed up here late on a Saturday looking to test ride and learned they were about to be closing up shop when I arrived. Despite this, the staff were super chill and personable and even suggested I take an additional bike out for a test. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a bike shop in this area.
Gina Opager: I ripped the air stem off my tire trying to fill it and I went here and they replaced the tube and filled my tires for me all in like 10 minutes and only cost me $25 for them to do it all! Very glad I found this place!

Helios “Sol” Corvid: Great medium sized bike shop for the area! They didn't have what I was looking for, but they were super helpful. I'm on the market for a class 2 e-bike and they only have class ones. But the sales clerk was very helpful and informative! I will definitely consider returning if I'm in need of anything else!

Jim handled everything and the guys at the shop did a great job building it. It turned out amazing. Whether it's a complex build or buying a bike they sell regularly, Flanders Brother's is where you want to go. Professional advice and outstanding customer service!

Gary Carver: Came here yesterday with little tires for my dog stroller that had crooked valves that weaved between my spokes. The guy replaced them with brand new inner tubes with proper straight valves and filled them up to their proper PSI. It was far from my house but worth the service that went above and beyond my expectations. The staff here knew what they were doing, something that I could not say for the mom & pop shops closer to me. I highly recommend this place!

Matthew Wiss: I dropped off my Specialized bike at ACF Bicycle Shop on November 6th and it was ready for pick-up on November 8th. ACF even had to order a part, and still rebuilt my entire bike in about 2 days. My bike has never shifted or rode smoother since I bought it brand new in 2015. I highly recommend ACF and will have all my bike repairs done by ACF going forward!

I got a call about 45 minutes later saying they resolved the issue! Not only that, but it was such a simple fix that they didn't charge us. Good advice, great communication.Took our 'daycare commuter' in the other day to have some issues addressed with the rear hub - they took care of the problem and went above and beyond to get the bike back quickly and with little surprises thrown in too: a brake adjustment and the nuisance of all nuisances resolved -- they got the pesky leather handlebar grip slid back into place once and for all. Didn't ask for either fix, but the tech noticed both were in need and did it anyway and we left with a much better ride than we came in with! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Stephen Wigg: Great people and the prices for service are fair and way cheaper than some chain stores. I had an estimate of over $180 for bearings for my front fork at Erik’s and they did it for less than $40 here.

I've also heard they are a great place for dynamo hubs and related accessories.Knocking a star off because one time I brought my bike in for a minor fix and they lubed my chain, which added an extra $20 to my bill. I wish they had just told me to lube it. For a working class person that’s basically just throwing money away.

Catherine S: I'm so glad a friend recommended I check out The Fix Studio. The online strength classes are excellent. Both Sophie and Otte are outstanding instructors. They are very clear when giving direction and no work out is ever easy! I have really benefited from doing the twice weekly classes as the exercises are challenging and help build full body strength. The Youtube videos are very helpful as well. I did one on one coaching & training with Sophie during the winter to improve my cycling fitness and on my first ride outside I immediately noticed improvement from previous years. I highly recommend The Fix Stuido for anyone wanting to improve their performance.

Jeffer Ali: I love the Fix Studio.I started working out at the Fix in 2012 to get in shape for a particular event. Then I became hooked on the Fix's interval workout and training with power. The workouts are the best return on investment on improving cycling fitness with a busy schedule, work and family obligations, and otherwise limited time. Eventually, I wanted to get even more serious with my training and began working with a coach to devise a training plan. As a result, I became the fittest I've ever been. I continue to do interval classes regularly.Sophie, Larry, and Otte have also established a great, welcoming, and friendly community of like-minded cyclists, initially with group rides and later with the cafe. The group gravel rides are a great way to get into gravel riding and enjoy the company of other gravel enthusiasts, judgment-free.In the post-pandemic world, the online classes are a convenient way to ride on the trainer/rollers at home while staying motivated by riding virtually with others. The Fix's core/stretching/lifting online classes are a nice compliment to cycling as well.If you're at all interested in improving your cycling fitness, give the Fix a try. You won't regret it.
Amy Hanenburg: The Fix Studio in person classes in the past, and now with virtual classes, continues to be an excellent performance value and a wonderful source of community. The 60-90 minute structured interval cycling classes provide an efficient and productive work out. The transition from in-person to virtual class has been surprisingly successful - I'd never have guessed that the virtual structure would work as well as in person has, but it does. The live video interactions and teaching provide just as much motivation and connection as the live classes always did. The efficiency and convenience are top value. It was easy to get set up to join from home, and the consistent schedule provide a stable platform that makes it easy to stick with the routine.
Sierra Kaptain: The Fix has the best strength classes for cyclists and Sophie and Otte are the kindest, most supportive trainers. I always leave any interaction with them feeling strong and they never make anyone in the cycling community feel less than, no matter their experience level. 3

DW Karl: I had not been cycling in many years and Matt's custom crankset has gotten me back on my bike. I was unable to pedal due to limited range of motion of my knees because of knee replacement surgery. I was looking for shorter crank arms than are available on standard cranksets and I discovered Appleman Bicycles, The best crank length is a hard thing to predict becasue there are many variables, but Matt has a solution with the FIT crank. Matt's cranksets are beautifully machined and finished. They are worth every penny and then some. You get Matt's personal attention and he makes sure you get the right components to fit your bike. I am ecstatic to be able to ride again.
Grant Bishop: My wife and I have been riding a tandem since 1996. In all that time we've never been able to find appropriately sized crank arms. The Appleman cranks we just installed on our Santana is best upgrade we've done. The product is top notch stuff and it's clear that Matt takes pride in what he does. He's very knowledgeable and answered every question promptly.

Baskin Tapkan: Recently discovered a crack on the frame tube of my 2017 Trek Domane SL6 bike. I could not tell how it happened, but it was visibly there. After checking with my bike shop and online search, I came across Applemman Bicycles.After a few back & forth with the pictures and diagnostic, I was given a quote and I had agreed to the repair. On the same day, I was able to drop my bike off and was told it would take 1.5 - 2 weeks during this pandemic.Then I left the bike for repair and left, ten days after I called and got an email response that the bike will be ready in a few days.And just about 2 weeks mark, I received the repaired bike.Matt and I chatted about the process of repair outside in the curb, it was whole curbside drop off and pick up by the way due to the pandemic.Matt sounded quite knowledgeable. As I picked the bike today, my frame is solid and I will ride without fear and have the scars to prove it. The bike frame is now seasoned and dependable.Overall great reliable service and appreciate Matt's response and interest and explaining the process with enough detail. I would recommend Appleman Bicycles for any local carbon bike repair.

Grady Milesko: Appleman Bicycles is a perfect example of a fantastic entrepreneur that knew he could do something better then status quo. He is wicked good at what he does. I brought my MTB with a rock impact to the lower DT/BB and he didn't just fix it, he made it STRONGER! The entire experience was more then I thought it would be; the quality of work, timelessness, great communication, etc. The only problem I have is my now increasing desire for one of his Appleman custom frames!

Greg Riccardi: After the shock of breaking my bike frame, I started looking for a repair service. I sent inquiries to several carbon repair shops. Matt was the most responsive and also offered best price and best turnaround.The results are excellent. The bike rides like new. The repair, low on the downtube, was tricky because of the brake cable routing. Matt was able to fix the extensive cracking and maintain the brake cable entry.
