Helios “Sol” Corvid: Great medium sized bike shop for the area! They didn't have what I was looking for, but they were super helpful. I'm on the market for a class 2 e-bike and they only have class ones. But the sales clerk was very helpful and informative! I will definitely consider returning if I'm in need of anything else!

Mike made a couple of seat adjustments, gave me a helmet and a lock and I was on my merry way. The hybrid bike performed great on Minneapolis's fabulous lakeside/riverside trails and on the bike lanes downtown.

Amelie Collins: I bought an ebike from this location a year ago after I demoed one at a bike to work day. I quickly put on 1000 miles last summer. And commuted 40 miles 2 or 3 times a week since it was so much easier. All the people at this location were so helpful and nice. I got into a crash later in the season and thought I would be in for a really expensive repair but Chris made the wheel true and fixed the spokes and everything for $40. That was such a huge relief. Right now this place is temporarily closed but I hope they can open soon because I really love it.

Ken Okada: I’ve been here a few times in the last few weeks with my girlfriend, needing different parts for my bike. The salesperson was very helpful and kind and explained things clearly. They have a good selection of parts and bikes. My girlfriend was able to get a bike within her budget which was fantastic. Most other bikes shops only sell high cost new bikes, which makes it hard for newer cyclists or people buying their first bike to get into it, without breaking the bank.This business is also a non-profit which is awesome. They invest back into the community through affordable bike and recycling of parts. They also serve coffee, which is awesome, because what kind of cyclist doesn’t drink coffee??I will be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends! Most importantly they have a cute dog in the store.

Ephraim Nicholson: Love this place. My son was having issues with the gear switch on his bike. They said they might be busy and it *could* take a week. I got a call about 45 minutes later saying they resolved the issue! Not only that, but it was such a simple fix that they didn't charge us. I will be going to Farmstead for our annual bike service and maintenance for a long time to come.

Good advice, great communication.Took our 'daycare commuter' in the other day to have some issues addressed with the rear hub - they took care of the problem and went above and beyond to get the bike back quickly and with little surprises thrown in too: a brake adjustment and the nuisance of all nuisances resolved -- they got the pesky leather handlebar grip slid back into place once and for all. Didn't ask for either fix, but the tech noticed both were in need and did it anyway and we left with a much better ride than we came in with! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Despite this, the staff were super chill and personable and even suggested I take an additional bike out for a test. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a bike shop in this area.

Gary Carver: Came here yesterday with little tires for my dog stroller that had crooked valves that weaved between my spokes. The guy replaced them with brand new inner tubes with proper straight valves and filled them up to their proper PSI. It was far from my house but worth the service that went above and beyond my expectations. The staff here knew what they were doing, something that I could not say for the mom & pop shops closer to me. I highly recommend this place!

ACF even had to order a part, and still rebuilt my entire bike in about 2 days. My bike has never shifted or rode smoother since I bought it brand new in 2015. M C: Just recently bought a very nice Trek road bike. I had my eye on this bike for weeks at this store and for over a year in general. The staff accommodated me on several test rides and gladly discussed fitting, equipment, features, etc over the course of multiple visits. Cody and Cory, in particular, were very helpful and even extended a deal on accessories and clothing to my friend there with me on the day I purchased the bike. I've spoken with several of their mechanics, who appear very knowledgeable. I feel all of this is above-and-beyond in service. Don’t see that often in local bike shops; secured my loyalty and patronage of this shop. Give them a look. They have a nice range of bikes from high-end to entry-level, including kids’ bikes.

We are amateur's at biking and I think when we walked into other bike shops the staff knew this. Freewheel Bike staff are for everyone. The pros, the commuters, the amateur's, and the families. He also didn't take my actual body measurements. He asked how tall I am, then typed in generic measurements for inseam and handlebar width
