Heidi DeAngelis: I can't say enough about this little gem. We stopped for a burger and a malt. All the food down to the burger bun is homemade! If you enjoy a good malt, this is your place. The atmosphere is all 1950's right down to the music. All employees wear 50's attire and are happy, interactive with customers and we are planning another visit soon! it was a 1950's experience with superior food and wait staff. I would highly recommend an outing for a meal here!

It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.

If you got the pre drink package, you get a small menu of crafted cocktails or you can ask the bartender to make your own. After your introductory drink, they take you to the dining area which is a U shaped are with the kitchen in the center. You get an amazing experience from start to finish with 7 to 11 courses; you won't leave hungry. The wine pairing is carefully selected for a perfect match to each dish. The food is TOP NOTCH. They way the flavors come together in your pallet is really an experience you need to have for yourself.

Linda McLoon: I love to cook, and I love dining out. I love to try new foods and foods cooked in different ways. I find the complex mixtures of ingredients to make a totally new dish fun and exciting. If this is you, you will adore Demi. The food is sublime, the ambience serene, and the service is impeccable and joyful.From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed. We started with a warm broth made from roasted beets. Light and warming. The first course was a triple. The sweet potato tart with pickled kombu, nori, black truffle, and miso was absolutely scrumptious. The other two small bites were lovely, but, oh my, that sweet potato tart! These were followed with a lovely fresh scallop crudo, beautifully plated. I adore foie gras, and the Demi version was slices of a terrine served with prune and preserved lemon. The foie gras was smooth; this was really yummy.The fish course was sturgeon, interestingly served with rutabaga puree and little slices of crispy rutabaga. This really worked.The pasta dish was so delicious, and I mean really, really delicious. This is the type of pasta you think about for days. These were chestnut agnolotti, served with celery root, cognac cream, and pomegranate. I could have eaten a huge bowl of these. A triumph in flavor and texture. Mmmmm!The duck and beef courses were also delicious, cooked perfectly, with perfect accomplishments. I had to laugh at the cheese course, as it was actually a cheese tartlet, with endive marmalade and pine nuts. These were perfect.We had a delicious sorbet palate cleanser, and a very interesting sunchoke bavaroise and ice cream dessert. And you leave with a little box of candies. This is a nice touch.Eating here is an adventure in deliciousness. Every dish is beautifully plated on interesting service ware. Your water glass never goes unfilled. You are served at your own pace. The staff is clearly and justly proud of what they are serving you.I have eaten at some magnificent restaurants in Copenhagen, Barcelona, France, and this absolutely meets the standard of those Michelin starred restaurants - and better than some.It is not cheap. You know what you are getting into when you reserve your table. However, the food is divine.If you like to know what you are going to eat before you get it, this is not the place for you. If sturgeon with rutabaga puree gives you pause, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are willing to put your meal in some very capable hands, and don't bat an eye at eating smoked white fish, broccolini, and caviar, you will fall in love with Demi.

Chris Valenty: A truly memorable dining experience, definitely lives up to the high praise. We had been waiting for a while to visit Demi, we had seen the stellar reviews for a few years now. The dining experience is very immersive with the open kitchen format. Being able to speak to the chefs as they deliver each course, really helped us understand the creativity and depth of flavors in each dish. As a fan of the Netflix Show “Chef’s Table”, this is first dining experience I’ve had in Minneapolis that felt like a world-class fine dining experience like you would see on Chef’s Table.

Kevin Biegler: Hadn't been to Oceanaire in many years. Now I cannot remember why and we will be back much much sooner. Stopped in on whim after the Twins opener sat at the bar. The signature Old Fashioned is beyond compare. The raw bar was fresh and their oysters incredibly delicious. We did a series of appetizers and cocktails the bar staff was friendly and efficient and fun! It was still the same great Oceanaire we remembered and we won't be waiting to go back! Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.

I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. It wasn't a big deal but it would be less than ideal in the winter.

Adam Levy: Red Cow 50th & France is fantastic! A buddy and I just stopped in today and were greeted and seated in very short order on the lovely patio. Our server knew the menu well, made suggestions and accomodated special needs with aplomb! The food was delicious and I was very happy with the new balsamic onion jam and the service was great! I'll return very soon!

Lloyd Nickel: We stopped for dinner on a Thursday night. We sat at the bar. The place was already staring to fill up and it was 5:30 pm. Bartender was very friendly and we ordered our drinks. We ordered food-Double Barrel Burger and chicken wrap. Both were fantastic. I have grown to love smash burgers and the special sauce was fantastic. Also ordered sweet potato planks. Would definitely recommend.

Sacha Bisou: in which case you will be led to the left. It was the lunch hour and a rather warm day for the locals and so the right wing was filled with retired folk who were getting a break from the 30 degree chill of March. Yes it was a rather warm winter for these folks who missed their subzero rituals this year. Thanks to the Red Cow, this was the right place to come together and catch up just like old times. The fare was delish and the hamburgers served here are unapologetically real beef. The salads here seem to be an attraction as well and have their own following. But if you just want to have your space, take a left at the entrance and order something from the bar to warm up your core, fingers and toes.

Joanne Ziarko: Visited while on a MOA Spring Break from Chicago. Really nice location. Food was delicious. I had the patty melt with coleslaw and my husband had the chilaquiles, which he also enjoyed. Kiddos enjoyed their chicken and grilled cheese; I appreciate that it came with veggies and a surprise cookie. Service was very quick but polite as it should be. I will note they do not serve poutine fries anymore which is why we came here in the first place, but we weren't disappointed with all of the other options. Would definitely come again if we're ever in the area.

My first time to Red cow. It was clean, food was exceptional, service impeccable. Fantastic experience on a busy Saturday night. The only negative I have is can get very loud which it was. Will be back!

Ishmam Ahmed: Fhima’s blends flavorful food options with a unique, glitzy experience. Great place for a birthday, date, or gathering—and right down the street from First Ave. The espresso martini here was sublime, as was the Moroccan mint with cucumber vodka—seriously, the first sips here will knock socks off. The lamb cigars and chicken tagine are definitely great moves here—I highly recommend both. The curtained booths make for a special experience. For a restaurant serving Spanish and Moroccan food, I was expecting warmer colors to be part of the interior design. The green lighting and polished surfaces everywhere were missing a sense of warmth—giving major Slytherin common room vibes the whole time. Coupled with the fact that service was a bit spotty at times, these are minor complaints next to the splendid food and drinks.

Nonya Bidness: This spot was amazing. We went for dinner. The flavor/seasoning of the wagyu steak was perfect and it was cooked perfectly. The finger potatoes were spicy but very very good. Service was spot on and the atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. The creme brûlée was average but I can’t hold that against them. I would absolutely recommend this spot.

The room is one big room with tables everywhere almost shoved together so it gets really loud, lots of business and big group dinners.Steak lacked flavor overall, I would return but because of the steaks but the apps and sides. Great service, attentive, more than helpful and went above and beyond for us.Great sides, loaded hash browns are monstrosities and had enough to feed everyone and then some. Also fair selection of desserts that were also sharing size - everything is jumbo it seems. Full bar menu and tons of options.

Kinkel Kinkel: Lamb chops were large and melt in your mouth amazing. Highly recommend the truffle fries and asparagus for sides.Easily some of the best cheesecake I've had.

Ops Doctor: The experience is pure top line steakhouse. The atmosphere is perfect. The staff are fabulous. Portions are giant. The key lime pie was big enough for 3. Potatoes were delish. Pie among the best I've had. The Manny's Manhattan was very good. The disappointment was the steak. It was not on par with a premier steakhouse. Not as favorable or juicy as it should have been. Plus, it had a lot of gristle. This is a 200 a plate or more place.

Staff made the occasion seem festive and special without drawing attention of other guests, which we really appreciated.Parking: Valet available for a fee, plus several ramps available within 1-2 blocks.

Jack Miller: This place is great, my wife and I were in from our of town to celebrate our anniversary and from the moment you enter the front door to the moment you exit, the customer service is absolutely phenomenal. I've been to the oceanaire for seafood, I've been to Murrays for steaks. Here I got the lobster tail and the dry aged ribeye, in my opinion both courses beat the oceanaire and Murrays. Yes, you're going to have to open your wallet up for this experience, but I promise it's worth it. The lobster tail was fantastic and the steak was excellent.. overall this place is a 9.5/10. The only thing that held it back for me is the bone marrow, I wasn't upset at the price of anything except for that item, for what you pay you get very little. The apple wood smoked bacon is fantastic, I highly recommend that for an appetizer. The cocktails are great, yes expensive, but they're loaded. The customer service? Phenomenal, best experience I've had anywhere. The waiter was knowledgeable, excited, and friendly. I've never seen steak sold before, this place does it and it's one of the best parts of the experience. Overall fantastic place for a special occasion. We will be back!

Shawn Myers: Overall I would would say it's crossed off my list of places to go. I had a filet mignon and it was cooked as ordered. To be honest it did not seem anymore flavorful or any better than Texas Roadhouse. I had the potato au gratin and those were nothing special either. I am glad I didn't go with the mashed potatoes because someone else in our group did and they looked dried out with a crunchy heat lamp topping. The other 2 couples in our group all 4 had to have something fixed with their meat orders. The waiter was nothing special but the people that cleared the tables and poured the water did a great job. I would give them 5 stars but the actual guy serving the food 1 star.

Dan L: Went here for my adult daughter’s birthday. We got a bunch shareables and a slice of pizza. Ok, the pizza was good but just ok. But the shareables….outstanding. We had the fried eggplant, Schupfnudeln, Pici, and cavolo bianco. They were all great. Topped off with the banana cream pie and crème brûlée doughnut. Service was great. Cocktails were perfect.

Get the horchata shake!Vegetarian options: The whole menu is very customizable and most dishes you pick your protein so you could easily choose beans or other options or just ask them to omit the meat very easily.

I’ve had birria in many different places around the cities before, but this one was perfectly done and sitting at the top of my list. The tacos were PHAT! We were so stuffed we barely ate the Fry-Cho’s which were also absolutely delicious and very single ingredient tasted fresh.Will definitely be going back for that Horchata ice cream!!

We got our coffees quick and he recommended both the roll and eggs benedict that we ended up choosing! The eggs Benedict came with hashbrowns that were done perfectly. The eggs benedict was great even had a little kick to it. Overall, fantastic experience we will definitely be back!
