French Meadow Cafe & Bluestem Bar: what do users think?

Noel Stroner: This brunch spot is adorable and has excellent food and drinks. The service wasn’t great - no one explained to us the self serve area vs full service area when we walked in, just stared at us. Another group walked in behind us and the staff then proceeded to explain everything quite kindly to them. The staff member that took our order at the counter acted quite annoyed and barely spoke to us.

Kellie Hoffman: .The atmosphere was really cool!

A Google User: The cinnamon buns are out of the world Jamison the bartender hook me up I love this place I just hate because they only have it on the weekends

Jeffrey Cohen: I just have to say, you have the best bagels in Minnesota!!!!!!!!

Rachel Nankervis: Recommended dishes

Teresa Berg: Even on a busy Sunday morning this warm inviting place does not disappoint! Love the vibe and friendly people. And the food is great!Parking: Parking lot at the back door, with a rampKid-friendliness: Several toddlers and under 10 kids were roaming around happily, unhindered

Kristina Y: Very lovely cafe, I had the tempeh sandwich and garlic fries. Absolutely delicious. Would def recommend coming here to study or work.

Aly McCollow: Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian options & a great breakfast burrito with tofu 'eggs'.

Lynx Cheam: Good times were had. Service was great. As part of my first time out to MN, I would say this place is easily worth the visit. When done with meal, you bus yourself. Keep that in mind, they don't spoil you here with service of that level, but instead exchange it for delicious food and tasty coffee.Pictured: Shakshuka, Small Hot Mocha, Large Hot Salted Caramel

Denny Stallman: Excellent coffeeFresh baked goodsVery pleasant staff

Kelsey Doyle: Krista the barista was incredibly helpful and made a delicious latte! Great spot for a casual brunch.

Sage Tones Family Photography: Very serene experience, the outdoor patio is perfect during the fall. The food options are many and everything we ordered was great!I’d just be wary when siting outside, we ordered pancakes and we couldn’t finish them because we were “literally attacked by bees!Other than that, I’d go back again for sure.

Ashley Siebels: This is my favorite place. I come here every time I visit Minneapolis. They have a beautiful garden and outdoor seating. The coffee is superb and everything on the menu is great.

Dana Borontis: . Definitely recommend it!

Rebecca Sorensen: Great vibes, very calm and kind staff, delicious food. I'll be back very soon!!!

Stef Masterman: I had the lavender latte and plum scone, both were great! Friendly staff, and I love that they use lots of local, clean ingredients! Will definitely be back!

Shannon Mahedy: Wow! I went to Common Roots cafe for brunch today, and I was blown away by the fish tacos. They were, without a doubt, the best fish tacos I’ve ever had! They were light, delicately-balanced, fresh, and flavorful. Each bite was incredible, and I found myself telling my friend how delicious they were over and over while I devoured my tacos. The chips and salsa on the side were excellent too, and the salsa was definitely house-made. My only wish were that there were more tacos on my plate. I’ll be back for more tacos soon! I’m very impressed by this dish!

Ben and Karen: We are so glad we chose Common Roots as our wedding caterer. They were very organized, responsive, and flexible in the pre-event planning. The food was delicious and we received several compliments. We chose Common Roots because they offered a great combination of delicious food, reasonable prices, and commendable values.

Tao Organic Cafe + Herbery: what do users think?

JC: Been going here for 30 years. Love the whole vibe of the place.Food is simple, tasty, and healthy. Upstairs they have bulk herbs for sale. I have also taken a couple of classes here. What I don't like: If you order a fresh juice you will get what they pressed either earlier in the day or the day before from their ready to eat case. I prefer my juice freshly made while I wait.Love this place. In photos: Tao Bowl with tofu and the Earth Potion tea.

D Kingston: This place is spectacular. A friend brought me in to get some herbs to make some tea and first aid salves. I had NO IDEA how neat of a spot this truly is. There is a cafe in the front on the main level, that had thee most delicious smells permeating the entire space. Acend a spiral staircase beyond the cafe, and you'll discover a plethora of not only culinary spices and herbs, but a lengthy wall stocked with jar after jar of varying plant leaves and seeds, ground and whole herbs, and a host of other natural products one would find in such a particular place. Countless ingredients to create an endless list of beneficial health and wellness items, including teas, tinctures, salves, balms, and ointments. Natural medicine at its finest! I was incredibly impressed and beyond delighted upon taking it all in. And after all the glory of the bulk herbs and like commodities, there is a gift shop/emporium of some fun , kitchy things, alongside varying prepackaged natural health remedies and wellness aides. Additionally, they carry educational and instructional materials to aquire the skills to create the aforementioned remedies/aides for oneself. This place is a gold mine in terms of goodness one can aquire there. Not to mention, the excellent customer service I received while I visited. I inquired about a culinary item and they did not carry it. The clerk offered to take my number down and contact me if and when they got some in stock. Above and beyond and I'm a customer for life, now. Kudos and thank you for what you're providing to our community. Highly recommend!

veda: Such a cute place! Went to have breakfast with a friend and we both loved our food, Great place if you’re gluten intolerant. Very friendly service as well!

William Boland: and you feel good after eating. We had avocado toast and the curry bowl which went down so quick and easy I forgot to take pictures. The coffee

Corbin Moulder: Such a friendly group of workers and the food is always excellent. Feel very welcome here!

Tyler McDonald: Stopped into Tao having neglected to take the few minutes to check it out on my previous excursions to the twin cities. Wow am I impressed. They offer a healthy variety of organic, locally sourced eats and even offer elixirs + health tonics as-well as coffee drinks & teas.I was greeted by a wonderful staff member who was very kind and helpful when asked about the menu / cafe. While waiting for your food, you are able to go explore the shop in the back which is full of herbal supplements, locally crafted goods, & a bunch more stuff that fit the holistic health vibe.Food itself was great and tasted very fresh. Super nutritious and I love that they go the extra mile to source quality, organic ingredients. Would highly recommend checking this place out!Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be modified to be vegetarian if not already. Clean organic ingredients.Dietary restrictions: Able to cater to a verity of dietary restrictions. Vegan / Vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: Welcoming environment for children, very kind people & calm setting.

Ishmam Ahmed: Finally stopped in after wanting to for a long time, and I can tell you the experience was even better than expected! Half café, half wellness boutique, the environment was bright, friendly, and comfortable. The Sun and Moon potions were tasty and came in a properly large mug! It was rejuvenating to visit. Thanks Tao, can’t wait to be back again.

Robyn: i love tao i love their little store that’s connected but this was $35. we split the sandwhich.

Reverie Cafe + Bar: what do users think?

iara fraga: My family and I love this restaurant. Their brunch menu is our favorite, but everything is delicious. We love the vibe and the service is always attentive and fast. This is a place where we go for years now and they always have new items in their menu.Kid-friendliness: My kid loves their potato wedges, french toast, and the pastries. Reverie knows exactly what a hungry kid wants!

Jessie Deardorff: I learned today modern dye is made from harnessing the gorgeous prismatic iridescent hues of spent motor oil seen in puddles on the roadways. Refer to my Pigeon Society of Orlando, Florida review for observations on pigeon neck luminescence. Pigeons are a rare middle ground where ordinary and extraordinary cross on a Venn diagram. You know how firework colors and community college chemistry lab lessons are made from different substances on the period table for their colors and explosive properties. Pigeons don’t even have to try. Sitting on the patio, under the pergola at the vegetarian restaurant, James, a knowledgeable man with a plethora of impressive skills and interests said “god is dead”. I pondered for a minute or two and decided that he has a point and there is no evidence to the contrary

Gabriella Pangborn: What a lovely place. My friend and I got dinner here, and we both enjoyed the wonderful food, kind servers, and atmosphere. I got the mock duck tacos, cauliflower bulgogi, and delicious house made cheesecake.I wish I lived closer to Powderhorn so I could come here more often! This place is a vegan gem.

Ryleigh Jones: Delicious food

Hailey Olson: Had an event at work catered by Reverie and the entire experience was fantastic. Everyone I worked with to organize the event was so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and completely went above and beyond! The food was also fantastic! We were feeding a lot of teenagers which can be tricky, but the nacho bar that KG helped us organize was delicious and a huge hit with everyone! Stopped into their physical location on a later date and it’s beautiful. Will be returning to Reverie for sure!

Abbey Herndon: Great vibes, amazing food. They also have outdoor seating in the warmer months. I like that it’s pay when you get the food so you can leave whenever, no waiting for the check. My fav dish is the Mac and cheese.Dietary restrictions: All vegan!

Molly Mayne: . The Brussels sprouts were unique and delicious. I had the lemongrass tofu tacos and they exceeded expectations. Very crispy and well seasoned, and a good sized portion. My dad had the rice and beans and they were very flavorful and filling. Can’t wait to come back another time and try out other things on the menu!

Brian Rosaaen: Always delicious food, and great service! I'm so sad they're closing.

Shell Nyman Dragonfire: Delicious Food and Wonderful staff. Mmmyuummnnnnum!

Laura S.: Great selection of gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options. Very creative flavors in the shredded pork tacos topped with pickled beets Also shared the yucca crust pizza. We enjoyed a colorful artisan salad with a peanut sauce dressing outside on bistro chairs. Recommend this locale to enjoy a great meal made by a small business with locally sourced ingredients. So much good food, we had leftovers to bring home.

Adam Smith: Bacon dates are out of this quantum hypertorsion laniakea supercluster flux tube

Athena Isham: Love this place, highly recommend

Angie R: Decided to meet a friend here and try it out. We were not disappointed! What excellent food! I highly recommend the chicken shawarma or any of the pork dishes! We even went back for dessert - don't skip the pumpkin bar!

Serenity Silvers: What a great find! The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. I had the chicken shawarma with cauliflower rice and garlic yogurt sauce. Everything was flavorful and prepared to order. The service size was big enough that I brought home lunch for the next day. They have indoor and patio seating. Gluten free with vegan foods available. Will definitely go again!

Meow Josie: Not worth driving 1.5 hours to..... Worth moving next door and leaving your home behind. Yes, it's that good!

Thomas Maxfield Huntington: With love, deep love, this place lives.Thank you friends

Cara Defilippis: . Friendly service. Cookie was DELECTABLE. Thank you!

Hanna Pederson: Love the vibe in here and appreciate the GF food!!

Jesse Peterson: I love the pulled pork tacos here, worth it to stop in just for that.

Robert Jensen: Nice place, great food. Very friendly. Great to have place where you do not have to worry about gluten.

Cheryl Manion: It is great to go out to eat and not worry about cross contamination. The bacon wrapped dates were fantastic.

Friendly folks. We'll be back for sure👍👍👍

Kat H: Yes! Yes! Yes! You are doing good food right! Very good with allergies, and gluten free everything!!! Thank you so much! The place is modest, deli counter style. And the food is a lighter on the portions but just enough. Also you must try the coconut flour chocolate chip cookies! My friend and I picked up our orders and walked around the neighborhood with our dogs while eating.

Brook Hess: Amazing food and great people. Great for a casual meal. Their desserts are AMAZING as well!

Kim Wolfe: Kale Caesar Wrap$13.50There is an entire kale caesar salad inside of this wrap! Kale, capers, maple tempeh bacon, house-made caesar dressing, and lemon, warmed on the grill. It is so delicious that I went back twice in one week. It's the perfect location to stop in and grab a carryout lunch to take to the nearby lakes. It is shareable but don't! You'll want to gobble the entire thing.Update: Website says “temporarily closed. The owner has been charged with sexual assault of a young girl in Canada.Dietary restrictions: Great variety to accommodate most diets.Parking: It's shared parking with a shopping center. Can be quite busy but there is plenty of parking.

Masha Hoy: , golden child

lisa jensen: The best chickpea sandwich ever! I can't stop thinking about it. I'm vegan and I was pleased this sandwich was sooooo good.Food: 5/5 …

Planty McPlanterson: I love the Seed Cafe so much! Amazing vegan food that can be shared with any type of eater. Cozy, happy, and if you feel like checking out a hot yoga class, it’s right inside Modo Yoga. Everyone is very friendly and it’s a happy place for me and my tummy.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, plant-based, gluten-free options

Drake Friesen: Fantastic smoothies!

Brittney St. Aubin: My absolute favorite vegan restaurant ever. I have a sensitive stomach, so going out to eat while also being a vegan is difficult. Thank you for all you do! ❤️Vegetarian options: 100% vegan/plant-based

Kiante Brewer: Great coffee! Even greater service!

Nancy Franke Wilson: that is so delicious. They also host pop-up shops by local small biz and vendors.

Isabel Seibert: This is one of the more low-key vegan spots in Minneapolis, but don't overlook it! It comes off as very healthy, which doesn't always pique my appetite, but Seed has never steered me wrong! I absolutely love everything I've had from them! Their kale Caesar wrap has kale and tempeh, two ingredients that I don't always like, but I think about that wrap so often! The ancient grain granola at brunch was a similar story. I'd also recommend the tahini chocolate chip cookie and chai latte. Its location along the Green Way is superb. It's a great stop on a bike ride!Vegetarian options: It's all vegan!Dietary restrictions: They can help with gluten free options, but allergies, etc!Parking: There's plenty of parking in the lot, but my favorite way to get there is by bike via the Green Way!Kid-friendliness: I see kids there often.

Mike Treuer: Loved it. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, from the display to the taste. I’d definitely come back any time here.Recommended dishes …

blair main: So many delicious vegan options - chickpea salad sandwich is my favorite . plus it’s a very cute place

Brandon Isabell: While it's spendy for the cuisine can't complain on the size of the meal nor the taste. Staff is nice and helpful.

Joshua Lightowler: Chef storia is excellent. She does but just create food, she creates art and happiness in a bowl. The food tastes great and will definitely return for round 2!!!

svetlana butova: Everything is gluten-free love all the food.

The Follaine Center: Food Intolerance Friendly, Acceptable Service, Comfortable Atmosphere, Beautiful Building, Interesting Historical LocationDietary restrictions: This is one of the few places, until recently, where I can order directly from the menu without any modifications. Bonus - they offer a "Build Your Own" bowl, so you can incorporate a variety of personalized foods when your food intolerances change.Parking: This neighborhood has a history of property destruction and it is highly recommended to use the parking garage. The paid parking garage is located about a half a block away. You have to pay for parking at a kiosk on the first floor on the opposite side of the garage from where you enter with your car. The garage did not accept my parking receipt one time. However, I mailed it to the owner of the garage and was reimbursed. The parking garage opens into a beautiful little sculpture garden on the way to the restaurant.

Isaac Baysinger: Loved this place. Was looking for something light for lunch - this worked perfect! The sushi bowl was delicious. At first I thought the dish looked way to simple to be good, but after digging in, I found everything in it was done ridiculously well. The blend of flavors was astounding. The atmosphere is very fun - a fast-casual vibe.Dietary restrictions: The menu had lots of options for those with dietary restrictions. Lots of gluten-free choices.

Kayla: wasn’t available the day I came.

Daniel Kelley: Great food, terrible soda!

mehmet ozturk: They have plety of varieties for everyone. The food we ordered was delicious and workers were kind. The restroom needs little more work. Except for that, I think everything was clean and good.Recommended dishes …

Tom P: We had reservations and were seated promptly. I had a side of bacon with the Zone Omelette and substituted GF toast and it was scrumptious. Our party of 8 all enjoyed their choices. Waitress tried her best but she got very busy with other diners after taking our order. Overall, the staff was top notch!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of GF options to select from as well as dishes that could be made GF by changing the bread choice. Very GF dessert menu.Wheelchair accessibility: A wheel chair would fit, but will need assistance getting in the front entrance. The dining area would be difficult to navigate. Avocadish: what do users think?

Deb Brown: Excellent food and service!

John S.: Fresh food. Lots of variety. Parking is not great. It certainly is catering to the students at UofM, but that shouldn’t stop you or anyone else in trying this place. Also, it’s in a mini food court, so there’s a lot of other great Asian food options.

Larry Lim: Good food and friendly staff

V A.W.: This is my new love! Lol the food and service are amazing! Thank you! We need more of you through out MN ❤

Jeremy Baker: Very good with fresh ingredients. Got a bowl. Serving size was definitely good because I couldn't finish. Very healthy food. Lady working was very nice. Was a little confused on where to park. I parked a street over and paid a meter.

Nasteha Abdi: OMG! Huge shout out to the receptionist at the downtown location who went above and beyond to answer my questions and to Alex! Doordash failed to deliver my order and he personally delivered it to me! My food was delicious, fresh and the perfect portion! Thank you for your kindness and courtesy. Blown away by the customer servicing & quality ingredients food.

Katie Cashman: It's so nice having healthy and affordable food options around the city. The chocolate avocado milkshake was 👌👌👌

Nichole Gonzalez: Avocadish is the best avocado restaurant I’ve ever been to. I went there with my friend and the owner, Alex Varouhas, greeted us with the biggest smile. The food is so good and healthy. It’s a good option for someone looking to have something quick but healthy and tasty. And if you’re having a bad day, bad day be gone because Alex’s uplifting attitude will set you off to a good start. They have cute avocado stickers at the register for you to get and if it’s your birthday they get a little surprise for you. Because it was our first time being there and they had just opened, Alex gave us a complimentary avocado chocolate mousse dessert. Any chocolate lover must try it. Customer service on point, food on point, presentation on point.

Julia Clingen: Perfect spot to grab a quick and healthy meal! There are so many vegetarian options to choose from and you can tell all the ingredients are super fresh. Definitely will be coming here all the time from now on!

Vibe Organic Juice Bar: what do users think?

Frank Marchio: Friendly staff, got the budda bowl and it was delicious

D Kingston: I really dug this place. The smoothie was pure refreshment, delicious and revitalizing. Many thanks for superb recommendation on behalf of the counter person. Who, by the way, was bubbly yet easy-going, quick to offer guidance for a first time customer, and also worked quite expeditiously. I will visit again, indefinitely. The options are limited when seeking juice bar/ smoothie spots around town, which is a complete bummer. In my humble opinion, Vibe is an undoubtedly rare gem amidst a fast food and convenience store hell scape, in terms of finding a healthy alternative. Lawd knows it is hard enough not to opt for quick and easily aquired junk when out and about, especially when one typically has zero options for a wiser choice. Incredibly thankful this place is there and beyond delighted I'm able to give them my business. Give Vibe a shot next time you are in need of tasty yet clean eats that leave you feeling energized and rejuvenated. You will be glad you did!

Anthony Medina: Hats off to the owner Dude who served me during this winter storm!! I called him and he said that he was closing in 10 minutes. My 5 year old niece had just woken up from being on the oxygen machine. She is in the fight with cancer, when she woke up she wanted something fresh. I explained this to the owner and he said that he will keep his doors open for me.When I arrived to the hospital, she tried it and said YUMMY. This was the first thing she has tried in 4 days.God bless you

Lynn Choi Perrin: A few wks late posting but this is a great place to go when the weather is nice because there is a lot of great seating outdoors. It is affiliated with Tangletown Gardens, which is noticeably by the lovely planters and the close association to local farms and sourcing of its ingredients. We had the veggie scramble, breakfast sandwich and the breakfast bowl. We came a bit late and just missed out on one of their delicious specials. You order at the counter and then find a seat.
