Dani Serenity: This review is a little bit late but they took amazing care of my baby Wish for her dental extractions. They were friendly, respectful, professional, explained to me the process of what they were doing and very thoroughly explained the aftercare. You could tell not only that they were very well ran group of doctors and vet techs but that they were confident in what they were doing and seemed happy to do it. They asked questions about Wish and gave her lots of love and attention for her check up appointments and because they explained to me the aftercare so well my Wish was able to fully recover after a full mouth extraction and she’s thriving now. I am so happy with my experience and happy I was able to qualify for the low income program it saved me a lot of money and was able to get her seen for her medical issues a lot sooner not having to pay as much. Especially for such a complex procedure. I’d definitely recommend taking your animals here. I felt that my baby was gonna be safe and taken care of while I was gone and I was very right. They even had to split up the full mouth into two sessions because they knew they could only have her safely under anesthesia for 3 hours and I very much respect them for knowing the animals limits and caring about her health and safety

4worldlovers: They're the most loving and compassionate staff I've ever had the fortune of having as it pertains to the overall health and quality of all my cats!
I've been going to Lyndale Animal Hospital since I first got a kitten in 2015. It is a wonderful clinic and they are extremely kind and understanding. I am giving 4 stars because their parking lot can sometime be tricky to get into and can be frustrating if you aren't used to uptown.
They love my dog and Mister Musashi loves them. It's always great and trusted. Absolutely golden.
My 16 year old cat was recently seen by Dr. Stoddart for a quite concerning issue. The care that my cat received was so wonderful and caring. My cat is totally thriving now— and doing so well!! I could not be more impressed with the care provided by Dr. Stoddart.

Also happened to find out it’s the oldest vet clinic in Minneapolis. Don’t let that fool you though, they just completed a complete remodel!
Caitlin Caswell: Dr. Hansen is the best vet i’ve ever had! She’s so nice and puts lots of effort into every visit. She’s great at answering questions and giving guidance. The front desk people are great too, always very nice and helpful. I’ve been happy with all the care my cat has gotten here and the prices are very reasonable.

Maria Sommerhause: Unfortunately, I had to bring my dog here on two separate occasions. The first- he was attacked by a large dog. The second- he ingested a large amount of chocolate. Both visits, we were treated with nothing but kindness, care, and compassion. I asked the vet to update me overnight with any changes, good or bad, and I received a call around 2am letting me know my sweet puppy started eating again. Their entire team is phenomenal. I cannot recommend the U of M small animal hospital enough.

Erika K: Our regular vet referred us to this clinic because of our pups severe separation anxiety. My only regret is I did not reach out sooner for an appointment. From the very beginning I was impressed with the organization of appointments and thoroughness of the paperwork/information gathering. Then I met Dr. Hayes and Sarah our trainer and you can tell right from the beginning that their knowledge of dogs is leaps and bounds ahead others. When coming up with a treatment plan they think of the dogs strengths and needs as well as the humans strengths and needs to develop a successful plan for all. They genuinely care and are so thoughtful of the pup and humans. Dr. Hayes and Sarah have improved Elly's quality of life which has improved the humans in the home quality of life too. I am so thankful for their passion to help pups and families that have challenging needs.

They were empathetic and so supportive. They gave me and my family hope that we can help our rescue dog and give him the life he deserves. Cate Smith: I found a stray that was a year old and needed to be neutered because it was spraying. I brought him in and was asking around and found someone who wanted to adopt him so I asked when he would be available and they told me the date he would be neutered and ready. By the date I went on the website to adopt him, someone else already fell in love with him and he had a happy home. It was a wonderful experience.

Joan: Dr. Michelle Donald is an amazing veterinarian! Her staff are equally wonderful and this is a well run, efficient, and professional veterinary service. They squeezed me in at the last minute with a very sick 4 1/2 pound Chihuahua. Dr. Donald explained everything as we went along, and was very reasonable in the tests that she recommended. Extremely transparent with procedures and pricing. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.
Taryn Bradley: We brought our 8 month old in for our first appointment with Dr.Jones and was so impressed with the how thorough the staff was and the care they provided. Vets are often underpaid and overworked, so they don’t have a ton of time to spare. Our doctor never rushed to get out of the room and was so patient with us and our wiggly dog. She had answers for all questions about our puppy and followed everything up with the latest science.

Amy North: My cat got into a bottle of Zyrtec around 3 in the morning. I looked up the closest animal hospital to me and ended up at Como Park Animal Hospital. I told the vet tech what happened and she had me fill out some paperwork. She then let me know that I should call pet poison control, as if they called I would have to pay an additional fee. She said she wasn't going to charge me for an appointment unless poison control said he needed medical attention of some kind. She even let me use an exam room while I was on the phone. Luckily, poison control said he had ingested a small enough dose that I just needed to monitor him and take him back in if he started acting abnormally. The call to poison control cost $59 versus the hundreds of dollars I thought I would have to spend! The vet tech was so kind and accommodating that I will definitely be going here in the future!

Susie Chopskie: I called in today to make an appointment for my two dogs who have missed the last years annual visits due to unforeseen circumstances financially. I spoke with a gentleman named Mark, not only was he understanding and nonjudgmental, but he helped with advice and was very courteous. I’ve had my animals seen at this location for 15 years and even though I love the service, it’s been along time since I have spoken to such an knowledgeable, caring person over the phone so thank you very much Mark.

Mikell Herbst: I would absolutely recommend Lake Animal Hospital for your pets needs! From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist was warm and helped me find an appointment that worked for me. We moved to the area and had to transfer care for our dog Happy. Not only did they get me an appointment that day they called the other vet to get his records transferred. The office is neat and clean and the girls up front were friendly and engaged with me and my dog which made him super comfortable. I can’t thank Dr. Bruns and her team enough for the care we received. She was straight forward with her clinical diagnosis and didn’t try to give us unnecessary expensive X-rays. Instead she gave us the options to monitor him with medications and if no improvement then come back for the X-rays. We even got a follow up call to see how Happy was doing two days later which I thought was a special touch. It shows compassion and care that I have never experienced at the vet. I’m grateful I found such a great clinic for my fur babies!!!
Kathy Miller: Just had our first experience at this clinic. We brought our little dog for her annual shots and physical with lots of questions regarding some issues. The tech was thorough asking questions and updating her record. The doctor was very kind and patiently answered all our questions, offering some good suggestions. Best of all our dog wasn't shaking and afraid. When they drew blood and she got her shots she didn't even flinch. It was an excellent experience. So glad I chose this clinic! Already recommended my friend.
Elaine Jude: I was helping my sons family with my granddoggie Daisy. When I picked up and dropped off Daisy, a 6 month old Labradoodle you could tell that they took good care of her. She was happy to see them! They all seemed to be happy to see her too!

Always very compassionate and willing to discuss care and treatment so that it makes sense to us. The guinea pigs love all the attention they get, and I love going somewhere that knows exotics! Best small animal vet I've found, and I won't go anywhere else with my girls!

Krissy Otto: I had to put my dog down, and I really didn't think I would be emotional. The tech who did the procedure went above and beyond. Without me noticing at that time, we talked and shared stories through the whole process. Never felt rushed, and not once did I feel myself or my pet was undervalued like it was a job. She was very passionate.
Cassie Obarski: We recently had to put our dog to sleep and we were recommended to Access Veterinary Care from the Humane Society. We have never brought a pet here before but from the moment we called and throughout the entire process, including getting ashes back, they have been nothing but kind and receptive. Our dog has always been anxious however she seemed at ease at Access. They had a blanket for her on the floor, the kids, my husband and I were all able to cuddle around her. She was calm and relaxed which is exactly what I was hoping for. They team walked us through every step of the process and all of our questions. The kids were able to step outside the door or into the lobby as needed without being the middle of a ton of people as they were grieving.I am thankful we were recommended Access Veterinary Care and we are actually looking to switch our other dog's care to Access in the future because of our experience.Thank you to Access for all you to for these beloved family members!

In my experience they are the most caring and professional group of people I have ever met. I truly trust everyone there with my pets wholeheartedly. They are amazing for urgent care, and I have never felt quite the connection and level of compassion that Access gives compared to most clinics around. Truly if your pet needs help, this clinic is top.

River Magnuson Hagberg: If you wake up late and can't get into Mission, this place is your next best bet. Prices were comparable to Mission's. Treated animals with love and respect. Staff were cordial and compassionate. If you fill out the online application in the morning you'll get a spot within two hours. Almost went with the five star but the appointment application online was difficult to navigate and seems inaccessible because of the length/details of questions asked. Overall, my pet was treated with respect and received the care they needed.
Jenny Schmidt: About a month ago I had to bring one of my cats into urgent care for a UTI. She was well taken care of and they were so thorough and wonderful.We had to make the difficult decision to put our other cat Thomas down and we chose to come here because of our wonderful experience with our female cat. I am so glad that we chose the end of life service at Access. They were so kind, compassionate and treated our cat with dignity in his last minutes here. He had a comfortable and painless experience in his last moments with us and I am so grateful for the care they gave us. We will definitely continue to bring our female cat here. Kaprice W.: I’ve been here 3 times so far over the years with the most recent visit being today. This is by far the best, most affordable urgent clinic in my area. I also love that everyone that my dog and I interacted with was professional and friendly. My dog has anxiety and is jumpy and they were all the best at calming her down when meeting her. We seen Dr.Gatz and she was patient and answered all my questions throughly. If you use the urgent clinic be aware that it can take some time to be seen but it is worth the wait for the services they offer for the price. They also had all the meds my dog needed. I love this place and will continue to come here. Thank you access, u guys are awesome!!!!

grey ashe: I brought my kitty in for behavioral changes to urgent care. The staff were on their game and got me right in the door. Being a walk in clinic means you’re waiting but the team was communicative and worked to juggle all the patients. Amy was our vet tech and she was such a great listener and gave a lot of great feedback about how to move forward. She really knew her field and cared and showed compassion during a stressful time to both my fur baby and myself. Great team!
Maddie Turpin: I have no idea where these other one star reviews actually went because it wasn’t here. This is one of the best experiences I’ve had anywhere ever. My cat had an emergency bladder obstruction and we were struggling to find an emergency location that was able to work with us financially and actually had capacity. The online urgent care form was super easy to fill out and I was called back quickly after submitting it. We got in and they immediately took our sweet boy back to help relieve his pain. One of the receptionists came in and talked over all the different payment assistance programs they work with and how the process works. Vet techs and vets were so compassionate and understanding. They talked with us about our budget to see what we could get figured out to fit inside our constraints while still getting our cat the care he needed. They sent us home with donated prescription food and some of the medications he needed were donated as well to help with our cost. We’re coming back again in a few days to have the catheter removed, and its removal is included in our price we paid. Wonderful people through all steps of the process I can’t give you all high enough praise. Thank you for saving my baby and thank you for being such wonderful and helpful humans.
