Rooftop at Hewing Hotel: what do users think?

Sajad Raeisi: Probably the top of upscale night life experience in Minneapolis. Great views of downtown and nice lounge area. If weather is warm you can enjoy sitting outside. Cocktail are a bit pricy but I understand the reasoning behind it. You will meet some interesting people there for sure. I haven't had food there so I can't say anything about food quality. Overall, great atmosphere Oh I forgot to say that the hot tub is next door and you can see people enjoying the hot tub from the lounge/bar area and some come to the bar to get a drink with their robes!

Philip Gissen: Returned to the Hewing Bar & Lounge on our current trip to Minneapolis. It is a fantastic bar, well worth the expense. Josh was my mixologist on this visit, and he is truly a chemist, listening to my request to a Mezcal forward Old Fashioned. It was wonderful. Hewing is one of the best bars in Minneapolis. Ignore that it’s a hotel bar because the Hewing is a Minneapolis one off.

Soleil Rintoul: Beautiful view, excellent atmosphere and staff. I'm looking forward to trying the sauna and pool.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious and easy to navigate with a wheelchair.

Rohit Kumar: Prices are high but view is exceptionally good

Jeffrey Grier: Easy to get to water park. Lots of summer time fun

Rachel Ibes: Took my 2yo here on a Sunday afternoon. She loved both the little splash pad and even the bigger splash area for a little bit.I felt secure knowing the life guards were attentive in case anything happened, and they were making sure the rules were being followed. This is a good thing to see when you have a small child that could easily be trampled by older kids, even with me following her everywhere.I didn't need to worry though, as all the other kids were respectful and were taking turns with my daughter on the little slide. The bigger kids also stayed in the big pool/splash area and left the little splash pad for the very small children.I love that you can walk right into the water and go as deep as you are comfortable with. They have lots of options for all ages, so it will grow with our family over the years. We love it!

Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge: what do users think?

Jay Shen: . And decorations were also in alignment with its tiki theme. The pizzas were pretty good as well! They were relatively smaller in portion but tasted good. I wouldn't consider food as a review priority for this place because it is mostly famous for its drinks and atmosphere, and both are nothing short of great!I will miss all the memories from this place as it has allowed me to socialize with others in relaxing manners on summer days.

K. Tsoutsoulis: This was a unique bar & foods tiki bar experience.A decent selection of cocktails, with mythologies for each drink, and exactly 1 NA cocktail, but it was a good one.As for food they were complimenting the drink, and not meant to be full meals. The tots, with special dip were pretty good, the sliders were tasty, and had flavour. If you came here in the summer, you had a wait for anything, which is just had to be accepted, the wait staff were always doing the best they could, and there were a lot of tables.Outside in the summer & fall was where it was at, even if you didn't get too much of a view of the river. The atmosphere was what it was all about.Sad to see this go, among unique, quirky, and fun places to go.

Dawn Hilgers: Wish they weren't selling the restaurant. But where can we buy the tiki decorations from Suzi's? When's the auction.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Prim Ilagan: Psycho suzi is an okay Tiki Bar, by default since it’s one of the limited Tiki Bars in MN. It has a large nice patio along the river for warm nights. Inside the decor is 70s tiki with bamboo and palm top to bottom. The carpet is neat- printed wood planks. There’s a sizable drink menu but is not served in Tiki Mugs unless you decide to purchase the mug. We had pizza, it was okay- nothing special. Drinks are below average. Ambiance is fun but not much else going on there.

LynLake Brewery: what do users think?

Eftychia Markopoulou: I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday at LynLake Brewery, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The staff's courtesy and professionalism were exemplary, making our celebration seamless and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived with our birthday cake, there were no issues or hesitations from the management, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, perfect for a gathering of friends. One of the highlights of the evening was the quality of both the food and the beer. The menu offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes, and the beers on tap were fresh and satisfying. It was evident that LynLake Brewery takes pride in offering a top-notch culinary and drinking experience to its patrons.Overall, I highly recommend The Lyn lake Brewery for any occasion, whether it's a casual night out with friends or a special celebration. Their combination of excellent service, high-quality food, and great beer ensures a memorable and enjoyable time for all.

L Chanel: dressed. We were really impressed by the salsa that came with the quesadilla - we love spice and it had impressive heat! Hubby actually mixed some into his spicy ranch for extra kick. Burger was juicy and flavorful but hubby cautiously admitted it was a tad greasier than he prefers but wouldn't stop him from ordering another. We'll definitely be back!

been’there: It’s a great place located in the heart of Lynlake. The only disadvantage is that there are no big variety. Other breweries have a big variety and this one it does not have the drink variety.

Tom Bakko: I have been impressed with the response from LynLake Brewery. I posted a review and mentioned that the Firebird wasn't on the menu. They responded quickly and put it on the online menu.LynLake has surprisingly good food, both the chicken sandwich and burger are fantastic. There beer is good and the rooftop is perfect for the summer. This is a place I will visit regularly.

Brad Ray: Great beer and even root beer on tap.

Tim Raebig: we enjoyed some good beer to cap our first day in Minneapolis.

Lee Kandt: and darn good beer! As I always say, if a brewery has good beer and great people, it’ll do fine. Throw in a killer bar area and super fun rooftop bar, now your cooking with gas! One of the best in MN, check them out!

Andrea Kiepe: This is more of an Italian-American place, so I would not recommend pasta here unless you want to have essentially an upscale version of Olive Garden. But many people are happy with that and the rooftop deck is gorgeous. I had a great cheeseburger and glass of wine and enjoyed myself. Service is friendly and helpful.

jon olson: Best pool ever! That is all.

Alexandra Schmidt: Nice outdoor swimming area, free to enter, has a separate area for ppl to swim laps which is nice

Jeffrey Grier: Very nice free pool. Right next to a park so you can take a break to grill and head back in too!

Kristi Lehman: Webber Pool is a wonderful free community pool. I love that it’s non-chlorinated, which is much easier on skin and hair. The lap lanes are almost always available in the evenings and if there’s a short wait, there are plenty of nice spots to relax on the grass or benches. There are lockers, but you’ll want to bring your own padlock. There are outdoor showers to rinse off before and after. It’s a good idea to check the website before heading over because it is occasionally closed is the water quality isn’t acceptable. The staff and lifeguards are always friendly and attentive.

Gail Ebert: Go on a hot day. 80 cloudy n breezy w cold water we only lasted 15 minutes.

moto-i: what do users think?

Yesenia Moran: Recommended dishes Rangoons

Gregory Miller: Best JFC in town

Danielle M: Dim lighting, comfortable seating with many options, and attentive service. They offer a decent spread of cocktail/mocktail style beverages - they were a wee bit on the pricey side for quality, so stuck to one. What makes this place shine is their BUNS. Fluffy, flavorful, I dang near shed a tear. Someone is putting love into them I just know it!My drunken noodles were also flavorful, veggie packed, but a bit on the oily side. I will still be going back.Amazing waitstaff. So personable, welcoming and interesting. Elinor is a star.Lot of options for vegetarian and vegans as well.Vegetarian options: Tofu and mock duck are available proteins. Ask for no fish sauce and you’re golden!

Noah Reed: After having some great authentic ramen in the cities, I wanted to try a more modern take on the classic dish. Decided to give moto-i a shot, and they did not disappoint!First off, it has to be said - the atmosphere is incredible. The place is clean, cool, and stylistic. It’s dimly lit, and they aren’t afraid to show off their love of Sumo. This love isn’t superficial - they often have matches on several of the many TVs around the space, and they even run a fantasy Sumo league. This is just a killer place to hang out, even without their food. The food is where they really shine though. I’m from Kansas, and we love our BBQ - when I say this is the best pork I’ve had in the Twin Cities, I’m not joking. The ramen as a whole is great, though definitely more modern than authentic in style. The same pork from the ramen is used in their outstanding pork buns, which is great. The menu is more focused than a typical ramen restaurant, but everything is delicious.Overall I would definitely recommend moto-i for some killer pork, modern ramen, and a cool place to hang out.

Niki Bee: Quick pop in while visiting the city for the day! Nice ambiance! Fast service & good food! Hipster Asian style eatery with some traditional and non traditional dishes! Would visit againParking: Metered street parking

David Ly: Never had a bad experience here. I love the atmosphere and the food, and the staff have always been friendlyVegetarian options: A good portion of the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian, but be sure to ask for it from your server.

Miranda Montes: . We sat and the bar. The bartender was super knowledgeable about both. They also gave us lots of info about special events they run since we are new to the area and are planning on coming back. We got the house made pickles and fries as a starter, vegan and classic ramen for dinner. Everything was so good and fresh! The vegan ramen was the best veg ramen I have ever had, super rich and flavorful. Love this spot!Vegetarian options: The vegan ramen was some of the best I have ever had! They have tons of vegetarian options and several vegan ones, plus delicious drinks. If you are veg put this place on your list!

Jose Quintana. .: and substituted the club soda for Sprite. It was delicious. I tasted Sake for the first time, and it was surprisingly good. A cross between a semi sweet white wine and peach schnapps but with no peach, it'll make sense when you try it. It was the first one on top of their sake menu. I also had their local cola, which reminded me of RC cola. I enjoyed it. For apps, we ordered the Rangoons, which, although they have no Crab, were deliciously filled and the pork belly pieces, which were juicy and crispy. We also had the pork belly and crispy chicken steamed buns. Each sauce complements the protein very well. Again, they were delicious. All 4 of us had the classic ramen. It was quite tasty and served very hot. We really enjoyed this place, and although we will return 10/10 for the great food, the experience wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for our server Tyler! From greeting and welcoming us to explaining the menu and giving us some suggestions, to refilling my drink multiple times just before it ended Tyler is the type of server and person that genuinely likes what he does, and does it very ,very well, that, definitely tied the whole experience while elevating it. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Kaitlyn Steffenhagen: steam buns are amazing!!

RH Rooftop Restaurant Minneapolis: what do users think?

Francesca C: Absolutely thrilled with our experience at RH Rooftop Restaurant Minneapolis! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance took our breath away—elegant, inviting, and perfectly set up for a memorable experience. The food was nothing short of exceptional, each dish bursting with flavors that left us eagerly anticipating the next bite. The staff deserves a special shout-out too; their attentiveness and expertise in etiquette made us feel incredibly well-cared for. Every aspect of our visit felt well-worth it, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience!

Kyurem Pineda: I went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary and we both also got a free cookie!Dietary restrictions: they were very accommodating for allergies, asking if we had any

Xiaohan Ma: I’ve come here a few times and each time was a nice experience. The food is great. Price is slightly on the higher end but with the service and environment, you kind of expect that. Lobster roll is pretty good. It’s not heavily seasoned and preserves the taste in lobster itself. The decorative plants in this restaurant are all fake in case that’s what caught your attention. I think it makes sense tho - it’s easier to maintain and no bugs.Edit: I went there again and tried the half chicken and wild mushrooms. Both tasted great. I’m starting to see that nothing here is covered in heavy sauce but simply very well cooked. The chicken was very juicy and tender just by itself.

Shong Yang: The interior is gorgeous and very instagramable. The food on the other hand was not quite as impressive. Our servers were amazing and definitely earn their tips! Would I return? Probably not... the food is expensive for no reason and is basic in flavor. Perhaps this is what they were going for but you could have much better tasting good elsewhere for a fraction of the prices here. I got the lobster roll and truffle fries. I thought it tasted fine but my party did not like the truffle fries lol be weary if you have not tried truffles before. It's not for everyone.

W Minneapolis - The Foshay: what do users think?

Moe Omur (Mo): The W Minneapolis offers a truly luxurious experience that exceeds expectations. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with exceptional service and a modern, stylish atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The hotel's restaurants and bars are top-notch, offering delicious food and drinks in a chic setting. Overall, the W provides a 4-star experience that's worth every penny.

Paul McLellan: Growing up in minneapolis, I had always heard of the Foshay but did not know the intricate details behind the history of the place. While vacationing in Minneapolis with my wife, it was one of her targeted areas and we thoroughly enjoyed the museum that told the nuanced history of the building but the great surprise was the observation deck on the top floor. It was a stunning 360° View of the entirety of Minneapolis and was worth every penny.

MaiNhia Lee: The foshay was a nice hotel. I got a suite there on a Saturday and they had a live dj event that night too. Super sweet hotel manager told the bartender to give me their best cocktail drink because it was my birthday and my sister asked which was their best cocktails. She paid $20 bucks for that cocktail and it tasted different but good. The dj event was great as well and I was able to make a few requests for him to play my music. Had a great time there. The hotel was clean and pretty. The 27th floor is where the other bar/lounge was and I was a little disappointed with the size of it. It was small and not roomy at all so didn’t even stay there. Overall, it’s a cute place and I wouldn’t mind getting a room there again.

Rachel L: and it was half clean. We called and immediately got switched to another room which was actually nicer so we weren’t too upset. But then we noticed there was no hot water that night. Figured it was just us and would be fine by morning. The next morning

Originally called The Depot, the club brought in prominent national acts. Prince often performed at First Avenue along with other popular artist.Don't forget to see the gold Prince star on the outside of building. johnny theophilus (WET TO ACTIVATE): I came up to work a convention at the Hyatt and didn’t realize my booking didn’t go through. The night crew at the front desk was extremely accommodating for parking as well. We had a huge super duty we use to tow our trailer and is the biggest hassle when it comes to downtown parking ramps but the security guard would come outside every time and guide us to an isolated spot. i couldn’t have asked for a cooler team.

Alexis Laubenthal: I have been to US Bank Stadium a few times. Every experience that I have ever had here is phenomenal! Recently, we were there for a concert. The acoustics in there are not the greatest, but always a great time. All the staff is always extremely friendly and goes out of their way to make sure your experiences great. From security staff to those serving food and beverages everyone is always extremely accommodating and well mannered. The overall environment and cleanliness is fantastic as well.
