So anything with a canopy bigger than 5 inches won’t work. We were heartbroken! Thankfully they were willing to let us exchange it.And Karen was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. She perfectly understood our aesthetic and walked us through the entire online catalog in order to find another chandelier that would work with our beam situation as well as fit with our style. Turns out the one we found we love even more than the first one!We could not be happier! Top notch customer service! All the stars!

She knew which Hom Depot store sells them because when she goes to other Hom Depot stores when she is near them and checks out what they have for inventory that she doesn’t have at this store!!!Ruth is such a great employee and certainly deserves recognition for her great customer service and subject matter expertise in electrical and lighting. Tom Wrzos: I recently called and visited Southern Lights and the best word I can use to describe my interaction with them is GRATEFUL. I purchased a couple of items from them about 12 years ago so they really didn't owe me anything and yet they treated me as if I had done a million dollars in business with them. I have a couple of Holtkotter spots that needed reapair so I gave them a call. The person that answered the phone was incredible and she put me in touch with Ryan. Ryan was incredible and so was the other gentleman in the warehouse. While Ryan couldn't repair my spotlight he gave me another option that worked out very well. Thank you very much to every person I talked to and interacted with. THAT is how you excel at customer service.
Russell Boeman: Terrific display of lighting products you won't find in the box stores! And the price range will meet any point on a budget spectrum! This is a must see location if you're looking for anything from utility to high end chandeliers.

They have very spacious and comfortable free parking it's just busy, but everyone is served, with self checking stations with good customer service willing to help you respond to your questions they closed at 11 pm until then I wish you check it whenever you have time
