Our markets empower visitors to develop a personal connection to the food they eat by learning where it comes from, how it was treated and how to prepare it—directly from the grower.
Our roots in Minneapolis started in 1876 at the corner of First Street and Hennepin Avenue. In 1937, our current flagship market opened at Lyndale and Glenwood Avenue North, marked by the three signature red sheds that still cover our market. Today, we support more than 100 vendors who alternate the use of our 170 stalls.

Stephanie Westhoff: I love the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market. There is a great variety of products: fresh herbs, clothing, jewelry, yard decorations, fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, plants, roasted nuts, meat, cheese, soap, salsa, coffee, love music, and food being prepared on-site that is available to purchase. I always get the egg roll from the Rainbow Chinese booth when I go. It’s a great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning.

A drones life 84: Great place...the atmosphere, produce, cooked food and good music keep us coming back regularly.
J Fellers: What a great find on vacation! It is one of the best in the Midwest. Love the diversity of vendors offering vegetable, flower, food, clothing and more. Also had live music to add to the atmosphere. Only negative is the parking, really need someone directing under the gridlock bridge. We found paid parking on street. Must See in Minneapolis!

Joleene Pace: Super cute spot! Really kind employees! I talked to several and the conversation was easy and they were super helpful! The only downfall is that it’s so small. It feels a little overwhelming trying to see everything. Also I couldn’t find prices on certain plants and when I asked, it seemed the price was way higher than most other garden centers in the twin cities.

robert fillmore: B&J have beautiful trees at a reasonable price. The lot at Veterans Park is very organized and well staffed by friendly, helpful people. Plus you get the benefit of a freshly cut tree while supporting a local grower!

I found a well-labeled and versatile collection here compared to others in the metro. Red columbine, bee balm, joe pye weed, prairie clover, aster, mayapple, milkweed, and more. Would love to see even more options for natives.

Nothing super rare though I will say if that’s what your looking for..The succulent selection was pretty nice as well. Mostly common species. Most succulents are smaller to medium size. Again really fair pricing..They also offer lots of outdoor flowers and tons on unique pots and accessories. If you mix your own soil they have everything you would need as well..The staff was really helpful and willing to assist. I would definitely recommend this place.
Sasha Renee: This is one of my favorite plant and garden stores in the city. They have unique and rare plants, a wide variety of pots and everything needed for indoor and outdoor plants. They also have a lovely assortment of home decor and gift items.

Maria Crihan: we were here to collect tomatoes, peppers, pods, eggplant, but you can also find flowers, other vegetables... Fun place for children and good time spent with the family
Mary Willing: Not far from the city. Lots to do for all ages, corn pit even the older kids and adults had fun. 2 corn mazes. A cool large bubble making activity, medium 3 wheelers to pedal, and a large slide. Had my mom in wheelchair and I could push her with some effort, but if it's cold there is an indoor shopping area that was nice to wait, explore.
Darlene Risvold: It's a nice place but very expensive. Not only do you pay to get in but everything inside costs money. The grandkids had fun but I'm going to have to think about it for next year. 🤔
Y C: Apple cannon is new in 2022! Some call it apple blaster. I love Waldoch farm. Flash light night is a memory maker. So pretty. Truly five stars for any kids. My only complaint is that they are closed in the whole 7-month long winter from Nov to May.

Highlights: petting/feeding ponies, goats, horses and llamas, pigs...giant bubbles....apple shooting....giant slide...corn maze....playgrounds....hook the ring...."pool" of corn...barncats.
Karen Folman: Great for the little ones, toddlers through 3rd grade. A lot to do! A season pass is worth it if you have these ages of kids! A great place for fun and to wear them out in the summer/fall months.

Don't go anywhere else for your Christmas Tree, wreaths, and garland. Free hot chocolate or cider for the kids. Warm yourself by the fire. Plus all proceeds go to the children of Nativity Of Our Lord school

Snacks and beverages always on hand. Bring your camera and get a nice picture of your family at the tree lot to send to grandma and grandpa or for Christmas cards.
