Margarita Castillo: Nails work very well

Carlos Burns: Very spacious park filled with interesting works of sculpture.

Jeff Collins: Nice place to stroll around and watch a sunset or enjoy the Springtime.

A2Z REVIEWS: Nice place to go for a walk and enjoy the artwork.

Melissa Hosten: This is a wonderful family spot and couple spot to explore and enjoy! Be sure to cross the street and enjoy the zig zag paths to more sculptures!

James Hemstead: Fun place to walk around and check out the art.

Shayla Nelson: Nice to walk around, Minneapolis classic. Pretty

Kris Pederson Gruidl: Love the renovations...however if it's a sunny day, take care to put sunscreen on the kiddos. People in strollers we're noticably struggling to find a shady place to stop...

The sculpture garden is free to the public.Art Fair today on May 11th, 2024 was awesome!!!Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on leashes.

Mill City Museum: what do users think?

Sandra Pritchard: We thought it would be a quick visit. No, it was well thought out. A 20 minute film on the history of the Mills and Minneapolis. Then the Flour Tower, inspired. I am not going to give away secrets 😁. The whole experience of the Mill City Museum was awesome. It is a must to see. Views of the Mississippi from the observation deck were breathtaking.

It was appropriate for mature adults and school groups. Parking on the street or in a nearby ramp was easy.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Richard Erickson: Wonderful museum. About 2 to 3 hours for a visit. Great for kids with lots of hands-on exhibits. The flour tower is a cool exhibit. Great place to introduce people to the history of Minneapolis.

Jillissa Molnari: I recently visited Mill City Museum and was amazed by its rich history and unique setting. The museum, built within the ruins of the Washburn A Mill, offers a captivating glimpse into the revolutionary milling processes that shaped Minneapolis into the flour milling capital of the world in the late 19th century. The museum showcases the technological advancements of the Washburn-Crosby Co., later General Mills, and how it brought fine wheat flour to the masses. Walking through the National Historic Landmark, I could feel the significance of this site and its impact on the local community. The Minnesota Historical Society has done a fantastic job preserving and presenting this important piece of history. A must-visit for history buffs and anyone interested in Minneapolis' industrial heritage. The interactive Flour Tower was amazing, including a ride to the top of the mill and being able to see much of the Mississippi River!

Levi Purdum: I enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and open to conversation. I'm not an artist and certainly an amateur observer of art who greatly enjoyed the leading questions and engagement when offered by staff. In particular the lanky young employee who politely informed me of their water bottle policy before I entered the first exhibit also proved to be a wealth of information. In the very next room another employee successfully challenged me into recognizing a word in what largely appeared to be a jumble of chaos. The statue garden was fantastic and actively enjoyed by children adding a practical value to the inherent aesthetic value.

Shadow Falls Park: what do users think?

Bug Folk: This is a fun place to hike. There's a long trail that will take you near the Marshall Ave Bridge on one side and the other side leads to the waterfall. Though my pictures are from spring, my favorite time to visit this place is in the fall. It looks magical almost with bright golden oaks and maples, red and dappled orange, lots of fall colors. There are rock ledges to look over the river, that is if they aren't already occupied. One thing I don't like is the graffiti on the waterfall at the moment of this review.

T: The paved trails at street level are nice, but when it's wet out you need to prepare for mud if you want a close look at Shadow Falls. There's a bit of parking and an overlook/monument along the road.

Mikaela G: Beautiful clean park with excellent views

k nels: Beautiful views from above, amazing down in the creek valley. A gentle sloped dirt path starts the "point" at east end. Then paths around the falls get steep and can be muddy, difficult. Also steeper paths down from Summit Overlook area.I've enjoyed the creek valley and creek outlook to river even more than the falls

Jennifer Everly: Dog-friendliness: Lots of dog enjoying the hills, splashing in the water

Max Andresen: that leads into the Mississippi, and a cool viewing place for the river and Minneapolis.Picnic area: Nice grassy area between garden and WW1 memorial

Today we decided to make the 40min drive from our home in Wisconsin to Como Zoo and Conservatory with our five year old to enjoy the day outside and it was definitely worth it. There are a lot of things that still aren't open for the season but that just means we can come back another time and explore some more. We loved the Carousel and the tropical encounters along with all the animals.
