Alyssa Swenson: I took the Scandinavian Knife Making class with Dan and Theo at MPLS MAKE. It was awesome!! They make you feel comfortable using tools that you’re not used to, and encourage you throughout the process. It was really fun and we all ended up with unique, beautiful knives!
Miranda Woodrich: This was my first visit to MPLS MAKE for a welding course by Theo. I enjoyed the class, was impressed by the scope of instruction given, and appreciated the patience and guidance by the instructor. We learned about different welding machines, safety, how to use the equipment which included cutting metal, and each student was given multiple opportunities for hands on welding experience in the class. It was more than I would have imagined in a friendly and relaxed environment. I can't wait to take more classes here and explore MPLS MAKE.

I was a little nervous at first since I immediately thought danger, but Dan and Theo did such a great job explaining the process that I felt confident and safe. The class was informational, interesting and hands on fun! Great for a creative date night.

James Declan: This is one of the best makerspaces I have ever been too. Granted I have not seen everything they offer, but I have a couple other places to compare them too. I used their wide-belt sander to flatten an end grain cutting board and not only did it take 5 minutes, but it only took off about 3/32 in total, not to mention leaving a wonderful finish. If you need to use any of their services, need not ponder, it is worth it considering I drove an hour to get there. I will definitely be considering a membership in the future.

Very affordable rate for the planing service. Couldn't be more happy with the results. By the way, my slab was warped, bowed, cracked before I brought it in, now it's flat as can be.

From my first introductory meeting with Nick all the way through my build day with Matt and the crew, KNO was 100% transparent and a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work is legitimately unmatched, I couldn't be any happier with the finished product. It's so good it makes me want to have another fence built!

Masha Hoy: Would definitely recommend! KNO built two 6 ft. cedar swing gates with minimalistic arbors for us. Nick came out for an estimate and then worked with me on the design, and really listened to what I wanted. Colin did logistics and scheduling and was very communicative and accessible. Then Andy and Jackson came and set the posts / built the gates and they're perfect! They're exactly as I hoped and even a little better because Andy and Jackson are total craftsmen and did an excellent and thoughtful job. Before heading out, I pointed out some wobbly deck stairs to see if they can give me an estimate sometime and Andy and Jackson just fixed them right then and there! I was impressed and grateful. The price seemed totally fair for the great work. I'll hire KNO next time, too.

His bid was reasonable for the scope of the job —even slightly less than the second bid we received —and we are very pleased with the final outcome. One thing I should mention is that his crew had to remove popcorn ceiling from our 1980s home. It’s an arduous job at best but he has the equipment to do it expeditiously and with a great result. Emelia Daniels: . This location only had 4 inch junction boxes and 4 inch cross cross bars, but she knew where to find what we needed-an adjustable cross bar. She knew which Hom Depot store sells them because when she goes to other Hom Depot stores when she is near them and checks out what they have for inventory that she doesn’t have at this store!!!Ruth is such a great employee and certainly deserves recognition for her great customer service and subject matter expertise in electrical and lighting. Please consider giving her a promotion or a raise, it’s not too late in Q1 2024 to give someone a raise! Thank you Ruth for your help😊

Andrew Turbes: Helpful staff. ok, so. I serious fumbled. I didn't mean any of this but, essentially, I THREW my card at this clerk. This sweet, helpful, clerk and I was just livid with myself, because I've worked retail and if some a**h*le just LITERALLY THREW his card at me, I would be not only fired but explaining things to the police. But they laughed, handed it back and pointed out the machine. 10/10 will shop again, despite shame.
Rule 64: Fantastic shop. Well organized, well laid out, fair prices. Can't ask for much more. I feel that the employees seem to enjoy their time here. I do not suspect that the employees are chained up in a basement crawl space through the night. Keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍

Drew McNeill: Support your local hardware store! These guys have helped me out of several last-minute jams. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.Prices can be a little higher than big box stores, but in terms of convenience , customer service, and knowledgeable staff, this place is the best. I find myself heading over when I'm mid-project and realize that I just need one or two small things to complete it. They always have several friendly people on staff that are assertive about helping you find what you need, and often willing to give you advice on your project too if you've got questions or concerns. You can be in and out of the store in minutes too. If you're in the neighborhood, I strongly recommend checking this place out.
