Knut Böhmer: Had a great two-night stay here for a conference. The front-desk staff was helpful and friendly. Tameka informed me that the room I booked was located on top of the elevator, and immediately offered to switch rooms for a very reasonable $5 upgrade per night - much appreciated!The room itself was clean and had everything I needed for two days. I was initially a bit concerned about road noise, but that turned out to be not a problem.The hotel is within easy reach of several hotels that were used for conference receptions, as well as restaurants, and the convention center is literally around the corner.Definitely a good place to stay for a reasonable price!
Nick Kilstein: This is a perfectly adequate hotel for the location and price. The service, parking, and breakfast are all good. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit old and the showers are especially dated. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get the curtains to prevent water from getting all over the bathroom.

Terry Hughes: .The gym is small but there are at least 3 decent machines.The location is on the edge of town but I felt safe. If you walk next door to the Ivy you can then access the subway network of elevated tunnels that cover the entire city, that was so useful when it was raining.Overall, I will definitely stay here again.

Lindsay T.: Had two joined rooms together and they were all set and ready to go outside of the bedding for the pull out sofa however that was brought up to us quickly. Appreciate the ease of check-in and check out.Noteworthy details: They had a large breakfast selection of hot and cold items. The cinnamon rolls were fantastic!

tracisayhi Yeah!: For a 3-star hotel, it was clean, nicely furnished. The rooms had a good layout with a sofa area and the bed area divided by a half wall. The lobby and hallways were clean and stylish and the person behind the desk brought me a couple of bandaids when I broke a fingernail.... and it is next door to a Trader Joe's.
Tim Hagstrom: We researched long and hard for a clean and fresh hotel with shuttle to the airport along with park and fly. Also, we are value conscious for price. This facility filled all those requirements. The only issue being a continuous traffic white noise from the very busy Interstate Highway 494.Rooms: Clean and fresh. No hallway or neighbor noise other than the sound made by adjoining shower. As I mentioned before, the busy interstate highway is a constant white noise.Nearby activities: We will use the park, stay and fly option in the future. Shuttle leaves the hotel at the top of the hour 4 am until midnight. Airport is a short drive down I 494. Mall of America is very close.Safety: Excellent.Walkability: Excellent, Trader Joe’s directly across the street as well as an upscale shopping area with such places as Michael’s and a nice spirit shop. Other adjoining businesses are upscale offices and a nice business college.Food & drinks: Wonderful free breakfast. Scrambled eggs , sausage patties and links, little pepper omelettes, biscuits and gravy , three kinds of fresh fruit, warm iced cinnamon rolls, pancakes and waffles, yogurts, milk, coffee , juice, variety of pastries, bread and cereal.Noteworthy details: Spent a lot of time on google reviews looking for a reasonably priced hotel that was clean and in a good location. This one qualified, the only downside is the noise from the very busy Interstate Highway 494. It almost sounds like our hotel room window is open.

Brain has helped us all night ever since we got here he made check-in super easy he was very kind and spoke clearly everything he said was well heard and well said. Anthony Rias: Very nice staff. Very close to the airport and the Mall of America with shuttle service to both. If visiting and using this hotel call them upon arrival because they did not have regular trips to and from the airport, you have to notify them that you are ready for pickup.Rooms: Very nice and well maintained.Nearby activities: Restaurant in walking distance, shuttle service to and from hotel to the Mall of America.Safety: Didn't experience any safety issues.Food & drinks: Outback Restaurant next to the hotel.
Mario S.: . The front desk staff was ok but seemed a little confused at times. We needed a shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel and had to call multiple times for a ride. The front desk guy kept saying the driver would be there in 10 minutes and after 45 minutes he did finally show up. Unfortunately it looked like he had stopped at McDonalds as he was drinking from a mcDonalds up and smelled of fries. For him to make us wait that long at 12:30am was not really nice. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.**Update** Stayed here again and although we didn’t need the shuttle this time, this stay was great. Breakfast was good, room was clean and staff was friendly. Great stay!
Nicole awdisho: Honestly this was a great hotel. The rates are extremely reasonable. The hotel is clean and the location is amazing if you’re looking to do the Mall of America. And the breakfast is truly great, my family was highly impressed! And everyone working here is very helpful and friendly. If our family ever comes back to MN we will definitely be staying here!

Gary In Florida: Best Experience yet with IHG - Holiday Inn Bloomington West - Minneapolis.........Nice to see reserved parking spots for IHG members, this is appreciated, especially with a busy hotel and car park. Walked into the hotel, immediately saw a very bright, clean lobby, discrete business area, free customer coffee and small snack/personal item shop area, and a large seating to the left with games, pool table air hockey and a full bar and a giant TV. Met at check-in by Nicole, who was fast, efficient and welcoming - and provided us with our keys and Breakfast vouchers for our stay as welcome amenity option. Room was upgraded to a suite due to membership level, situated on the 5th floor, great outlook, quiet, good lighting, nice size TV with separate seating, and very clean in all areas, well-made bed with fresh linen and also plenty of wall sockets, and USB charging points, a fridge, microwave and the usual iron & board and hairdryer with thoughtfully placed mirrors. Bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels, extractor fan, new backlit bathroom mirror and great shower with plenty of power and fast drainage! Once settled, we Met Martin in the hotel bar, he's full of energy and also drinks recommendations... so had a wonderful evening with several cocktails and some food made in the in-site kitchen, I can highly recommend the wings and the Caesar salad with chicken... Next morning - we found the breakfast buffet - again made fresh and delivered hot on-site...wow... quality was outstanding, and the large variety and choice was amazing, and all served with a smile by the restaurant staff... too many to name here. We had an issue during the stay caused by ourselves, that needed to be dealt with and one call to the Hotel GM Veronica and it was solved within minutes - much appreciated by both my wife and myself.Icing on the cake was the free local area bus that took care of us to and from the airport. Overall, Veronica seems to have a great team, that is helping her to run a wonderful hotel in the IHG group and once again, this was the best Holiday Inn I have stayed in for a very long time, and we are already looking forward to going back to Minneapolis and staying there again.

Lenna: During my recent trip here , I had a wonderful stay at a downtown hotel. The location was convenient, close to many attractions and dining options. The staff were attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. The room was comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. Norman Herrin: This appears to be a well maintained hotel with an extremely convenient restaurant/bar adjoining the lobby. I took away one star because it infuriates me during multiple day visits to have to have to take the elevator back to the lobby because my room key has turned off during a middle day and I am locked out.
El Gato: property for your stay in St. Paul. Location manager Steve and all the staff are very accommodating, friendly, and professional. The rooms are immaculate, and standard amenities even include a mini-fridge and microwave in the rooms. At this location, the spacious rooms are larger and more than you may expect for a standard stay at a hotel within a budget. This is a welcome change from the "efficiency" sized rooms provided at similar lower-cost stays at other competitor locations.I also can't say enough good things about the staff here at the St. Paul Holiday Inn. Your stay will be handled by a professional and courteous staff who really care about and enjoy what they do. A friendly smile, genuine care, and meaningful assistance are the standard at this location, and what I experienced during my recent stay here at this location.That, too, is a nice change from what now seems to be the unfortunate new norm of unhappy and dissatisfied professionals, some of whom are now working in the hospitality industry. Fortunately, for the weary traveler or excited vacationer, the experience is much different and exceedingly much better here at the St. Paul Holiday Inn. The staff professionals here at the St. Paul Holiday Inn are happy to help address any needs you may have or those that may come up unexpectedly. They take the time to ensure that you are being taken care of and getting the most out of your stay at your "home away from home" on the road, all the while with a cheerful and friendly disposition.In the final sum, this is definitely the place to stay if you need a place to "hang your hat"
Terrie Parpart: Went to the MaDonna concert last night and stayed here overnight. My Daughter and I had incredible experience in your bar/ restaurant! Audrey was our server and she was outstanding! Fun, energetic, helpful, and all employees were incredible! Compliments to the Chefs with our delicious food! You have an Amazing crew and you should be very grateful! Valerie Stubbe: Stayed on the 8th floor of this hotel and was able to hear just enough of the music from the restaurant downstairs.The vent fan in the bathroom cannot be shut off and the beds were so hard it was like sleeping on wood.Positives include the staff being accommodating and wonderful, food on site and location to Xcel center.
