Terry B: I look forward to going again and looking closer at what the ship offers and knowing more about it.

Sas B: Best ham and cheese croissant I’ve ever tasted. The staff was really nice too ! I tried a few other treats as well and all of them were just as yummy! Will be stopping by again on my next trip to Minneapolis!

Amy Nelson: The moment you step into this place, you smell the fresh delicious Roma of such sweet delight then you taste the delicious chocolate almond croissants, and you’re just in heaven👍

Lexi Schiffman: Took a cooking class with Nomi & couldn’t have had a better time! Highly recommend!

Michael Benjamin: The Banoffee Croissants were delicious! Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

ben delarosa: The French Pastry 101 class was gifted to me for Christmas. It was a really fun class and Chef Zoe was a fantastic instructor. Highly suggest this as a date night thing or with a friend.

AH: Best pastries in town.

Beth Kalin: Excellent service and love the delicious GF baked good options!

Elizabeth Leming: Cooking classI took a cooking class. It was a lot of fun, but we cooked in groups, so it was hard to have a turn at everything. I either felt like I was taking over or missing out.The groups were of six for those classes, so if you have that many you can be your own group.

Owamni by The Sioux Chef: what do users think?

Brad Adams: . I would say it's the most woke restaurant I've been to in my life.Between the uniform/shirts with hashtag anti-colonialism slogans, a story on the back of the menus about how, what we call Americans have ruined the Indian Nation, it's a little over the top with negativity. We decided to go to the restaurant because it was a cool concept to eat really good food made with ingredients back during the Indian Nation time when some of the ingredients we are used to today were not available. From that standpoint, it was an interesting, creative, and fun meal. The staff was very nice, very informative, very willing to help explain the menu and suggest good things. The restaurant is situated beautifully on the Mississippi River with fantastic views. It's also located in a historic milling building with Old Woods bricks and historic steel. In terms of taste, obviously, with a limited selection of ingredients, come with it a limited menu of tasty options. Does the chef do a fantastic job with the ingredients he uses? Yes!. It was fun and interesting to try it all. Can I go out and eat "colonizer" food that tastes far better, absolutely, but that's not the point of going to the restaurant. They add a 13% service charge on top of the bill that they state by Minnesota law is not considered a tip to help their staff and all of the minority based causes and suppliers of their business.Their wines are very expensive and unknown, so if you want to pair with a nice wine, if they allow it you may want to bring your own.We tried the items in my photos along with the Bison Taco, which was pretty darn good, and the corn chowder, which was also good

Lindsey Hiner: All of the beverages they offer are from BIPOC or women-run businesses... So cool!!We tried 4 plant dishes and two tacos: one bison and one elk. Everything was so delicious! The wild rice was truly special

Michael Brewer: to move my son out of his dorm on UofM campus. I had been wanting to try Owamni since he enrolled here. Being from out of state, I took my chances and went alone to Owamni this evening. Despite their full booking, I was seated immediately at the bar, which in my opinion is the best way to enjoy the experience on offer here, which in this case was their spring menu

Tenant Restaurant: what do users think?

Eleanor Frisch: This is the finest dining in Minneapolis, hands down. I went in February 2024 and everything was executed with meticulous care. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. There was nothing superfluous, nothing too heavy, nothing too acidic. The wine pairings were well thought out. Also, none of the staff forgot I was a pescatarian at any point. It was also the perfect amount of food. For the quality of the food the prices were extremely reasonable. I have been to most of the fine dining establishments in the Metro and don't think the others, like Travail or Spoon and Stable, which are amazing in their own right, can really compare to Tenant. This is where you bring a true foodie if you want to impress them.

Bethany Charlsen: We've dined here many times and every meal is a unique experience. It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.

Spoon and Stable: what do users think?

Robyn: One of the best restaurants Ive tried in Minneapolis! The menu might seem pretty ordinary but everything was very goodRecommended dishes Dry-Aged Duck Breast …

Jonathan Robinson: Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated! Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.

Raquel Tabor: Recommended dishes Pot Roast

Akshaya Bhagavathula: My recent dinner at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis was an experience that truly stood out in my culinary adventures. This beautifully restored horse stable turned restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu, curated by Chef Gavin Kaysen, is a testament to his expertise and commitment to showcasing the best of Midwest ingredients with a French twist. We started with the foie gras terrine, which was rich and perfectly balanced, and it became an instant favorite at our table. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side that complemented the duck without overshadowing it.What really made our meal unforgettable was not just the food but the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. They recommended excellent wine pairings that elevated our dining experience. The dessert rounded off the evening on a high note, with creative and delightful options that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine made Spoon and Stable a dining destination that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out, this restaurant promises an evening that’s both enchanting and satisfying.

Fhima's Minneapolis: what do users think?

John Wood: Went here for dinner with my wife and brother. We were seated promptly and service was very attentive. The vibe of this place is really interesting, especially the décor. The adult beverage list is extensive and reasonably priced. My brother and I ordered the Wagu Butter Burger - 10/10! Maybe tope 3 burgers I've ever had in my life. It was perfection. The fries were also a cut above. My wife's Mediterranean sampler tasted fine, but she said my burger was better. No complaints at all. I'll be back!

Steve Mcguire: Amazing establishment! Felt like I walked into a Vegas restaurant and but this place put them to shame!! The drinks were amazing, all the staff were beyond kind and friendly, the bartenders we're more like artists with fruit, and the food... man... I could write for days but alas I'm not a writer for the star and I have my own job to get back to 🤣🙏💪🙌

Ishmam Ahmed: Fhima’s blends flavorful food options with a unique, glitzy experience. Great place for a birthday, date, or gathering—and right down the street from First Ave. The espresso martini here was sublime, as was the Moroccan mint with cucumber vodka—seriously, the first sips here will knock socks off. The lamb cigars and chicken tagine are definitely great moves here—I highly recommend both. The curtained booths make for a special experience. For a restaurant serving Spanish and Moroccan food, I was expecting warmer colors to be part of the interior design. The green lighting and polished surfaces everywhere were missing a sense of warmth—giving major Slytherin common room vibes the whole time. Coupled with the fact that service was a bit spotty at times, these are minor complaints next to the splendid food and drinks.

Nonya Bidness: This spot was amazing. We went for dinner. The flavor/seasoning of the wagyu steak was perfect and it was cooked perfectly. The finger potatoes were spicy but very very good. Service was spot on and the atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. The creme brûlée was average but I can’t hold that against them. I would absolutely recommend this spot.

Andre Gueziec: I recently dined at Fhima's, where Sean, the sommelier, provided an exceptional experience. His expertise shone as he recommended the perfect wine pairing for the Pulpa dish, enhancing the flavors and making the meal truly memorable. The thoughtful guidance added a delightful touch to the overall dining experience, making Fhima's a must-visit for those seeking a harmonious fusion of exquisite cuisine and expertly curated wine selections.

Jacob Danner: my original 1915 Singapore Sling recipe from Raffles Hotel Long Bar, which he recreated flawlessly giving rise to taste buds stimulation. It was so unique, and a photograph of it is included.I proceeded to have a Moroccan dish “Lamb Meatball Tagine”. It was served to me in the tagine, and, as the server lifted the top of it, and waved it about, the aromatic signature of the dish, with its wonderful blend of Moroccan herbs and spices took me away to exotic lands and musings.Lamb Meatball TagineOnion confit, Ras Al Hanout

J.D. Hoyt's Supper Club: what do users think?

Joseph Spitzmueller: JDs is great. Wonderful food and drinks, and wonderful people. Perfect way to start an evening before a Twins game or show. Valet service is a no brainer. Love the buddy bowl with grilled catfish. Steaks are awesome too. Pat, Annie, Jodi, Elaina, Erick, junior, Jim and the rest of the friendly crew provide wonderful service. You’ll leave happy.

Jay Turner: JD Hoyt is the epitome fine dining! The food is amazing! Whether you choose Fresh and juicy salmon, or a thick mouth watering steak, you will be impressed with the detail in which they put into your meal! They have a great selection of white/red wine to enjoy with your lunch or dinner. The appetizers are even delicious! I recommend the cornbread with butter and syrup and the garlic cheese bread with the corn chowder…yes, that’s just an appetizer!!! The environment is classy, romantic, and cozy. This is a place where you can make reservations with your significant other and come dressed up or you can bring the family as it’s also kid friendly. The owner is really nice, he walks the restaurant speaking to patrons and genuinely making sure that you have everything that you need, he will also bring food to your table personally. You’ll be glad you ate here, you’re welcome in advance lol!!!

Philip Gissen: I had a wonderful meal at J.D. Hoyt’s sitting at the raised bar watching the NCAA Women’s semi-final basketball games. Junior was our server/bar keep, and he was as entertaining as the game. J.D. Hoyt’s is an urban supper club that’s as authentic as any of the supper clubs in rural Wisconsin. All the food is good, some dishes better than others, but you will always have enough to eat. Portions are enormous. My Wedge salad was the size of Uranus but tasted much better. The hickory chicken was delicious. J.D. Hoyt’s is not gourmet, innovative, or trendy, but that’s not their objective. They do what they do with aplomb. I’m in Minneapolis once a month, and I will visit J.D. Hoyt’s every time. BTW, if you’re at the bar, ask Junior about Lenny Kravitz. You’ll enjoy the stories.

Ericka Waterman: I can’t believe I haven’t been to this restaurant before. The pork chops are simply amazing. Like deliciously amazing. I’ve never had a restaurant cook pork chops this perfectly. If you make it here, and I truly hope you do, ask to sit in Jodi’s section. She made our meal a true experience and had the perfect recommendations for each person at our table.

Demi: what do users think?

Ryan O John: Top 3 meals I’ve ever had. Creative pairings, stellar raw ingredient quality, locally sourced, and fabulously curated textures and tastes. On top of that the vibe is just purely welcoming and friendly.Dietary restrictions: They can seemingly accommodate anything with advance notice.

Felix Gill: It is a small kitchen environment. Seats about 25 people max. We got the eleven course Whitney meal. Great presentation.Had a lovely time.Parking: Use the valet.

Vitor Yamaoto: You walk in into a small yet inviting waiting area with a small bar. If you got the pre drink package, you get a small menu of crafted cocktails or you can ask the bartender to make your own. After your introductory drink, they take you to the dining area which is a U shaped are with the kitchen in the center. You get an amazing experience from start to finish with 7 to 11 courses; you won't leave hungry. The wine pairing is carefully selected for a perfect match to each dish. The food is TOP NOTCH. They way the flavors come together in your pallet is really an experience you need to have for yourself.

Bethany Charlsen: We’re hard to impress, fussy and difficult. This place continues to top our list of the best in the Twin Cities and even US/worldwide.Yes, it’s deserving of at least two Michelin stars. The ambience, cuisine, and staff are remarkable.Yes, you might need to save up for a dinner here although the Barrington option offered Wednesday, Thursdays and Sundays is lovely and a steal at $95/pp.Yes, every time you go the experience will be a bit different yet still the same in some ways with those gooey, warm Rice Krispie treats at the end as an example.Yes, the staff is passionate and eager to share their expertise and showcase their knowledge with you and….Yes, you will feel cared about and valued as a guest. Every time.

Anna Torgerson: Hell yeahRecommended dishes Truffles, Wagyu Beef Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend …

Linda McLoon: I love to cook, and I love dining out. I love to try new foods and foods cooked in different ways. I find the complex mixtures of ingredients to make a totally new dish fun and exciting. If this is you, you will adore Demi. The food is sublime, the ambience serene, and the service is impeccable and joyful. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed. We started with a warm broth made from roasted beets. Light and warming. The first course was a triple. The sweet potato tart with pickled kombu, nori, black truffle, and miso was absolutely scrumptious. The other two small bites were lovely, but, oh my, that sweet potato tart! These were followed with a lovely fresh scallop crudo, beautifully plated. I adore foie gras, and the Demi version was slices of a terrine served with prune and preserved lemon. The foie gras was smooth; this was really yummy. The fish course was sturgeon, interestingly served with rutabaga puree and little slices of crispy rutabaga. This really worked. The pasta dish was so delicious, and I mean really, really delicious. This is the type of pasta you think about for days. These were chestnut agnolotti, served with celery root, cognac cream, and pomegranate. I could have eaten a huge bowl of these. A triumph in flavor and texture. Mmmmm! The duck and beef courses were also delicious, cooked perfectly, with perfect accomplishments. I had to laugh at the cheese course, as it was actually a cheese tartlet, with endive marmalade and pine nuts. These were perfect. We had a delicious sorbet palate cleanser, and a very interesting sunchoke bavaroise and ice cream dessert. And you leave with a little box of candies. This is a nice touch.Eating here is an adventure in deliciousness. Every dish is beautifully plated on interesting service ware. Your water glass never goes unfilled. You are served at your own pace. The staff is clearly and justly proud of what they are serving you.I have eaten at some magnificent restaurants in Copenhagen, Barcelona, France, and this absolutely meets the standard of those Michelin starred restaurants - and better than some.It is not cheap. You know what you are getting into when you reserve your table. However, the food is divine. If you like to know what you are going to eat before you get it, this is not the place for you. If sturgeon with rutabaga puree gives you pause, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are willing to put your meal in some very capable hands, and don't bat an eye at eating smoked white fish, broccolini, and caviar, you will fall in love with Demi.

Gabriela Seidel: put it, made me not miss wine.Thank you Demi for taking such good care of us and for giving us a night to remember!

Carolyn Livingston: Just go. It's perfect. Staff was amazingly friendly and made the evening for us.

Jeremy: Weee! That was fun. No idea what the second seating is doing, our reservation was at 5:30, didn't get home till after 9. Go early, it's an adventure. Even the bathroom was meditative and romantic. Not sure what else to say about it. It's a great experience. All the dishes were fantastic but for me the vegetables really shined. I know a full 11 course vegetarian menu would never sell but they could pull it off.

Chris Valenty: A truly memorable dining experience, definitely lives up to the high praise. We had been waiting for a while to visit Demi, we had seen the stellar reviews for a few years now. The dining experience is very immersive with the open kitchen format. Being able to speak to the chefs as they deliver each course, really helped us understand the creativity and depth of flavors in each dish. As a fan of the Netflix Show “Chef’s Table”, this is first dining experience I’ve had in Minneapolis that felt like a world-class fine dining experience like you would see on Chef’s Table.

Alma: what do users think?

C T: This is a quaint restaurant with a high-end tasting menu. You start your journey at the concierge booth, which also doubles as hotel check-in. They escort you through large doors and seat you immediately, assuming you made reservations in advance. Our server was very attentive to our needs and explained the pairing for each of the courses we had. The food was definitely a journey for you palate. The caliber of the kitchen is topnotch! The kitchen is open and right next to the dining area, and we didn't hear a peep out of the chefs. That just shows you the quality of professionalism they have. Smooth and running like a well-oiled machine. I would highly recommend celebrating a special occasion with Alma!

Nicole Gislason: We had the most wonderful experience for my sister's 30th birthday dinner. It was a curated menu where the plates just came out in courses. You let the server know what dietary needs you had at the beginning... We started out with some great cocktails and then a wonderful recommended wine. We loved every single part of this meal and experience. Do not miss this!

Hell's Kitchen Inc.: what do users think?

Jalen Bell: So when I walked past this place, my first thought was Gordon Ramsey’s famous tv show. Turns out they’re a local business, no affiliation. The burger was absolutely fantastic! Well seasoned, temperature just right, and it had bacon and tangy sauce that was similar to 1000 island. Bonus: They branded the bun with the logo which I thought was cool. Ordered cheesecake for dessert. A bit pricy but well worth the quality of food. I’d def eat here again when I’m in town.

Gina M: Mariann was the BEST!! This was our 1st time here and she was so nice and patient.Be careful when you bite into the inferno burger!! The cheese went everywhere 😭 Good burger though.Warm Greens Grain bowl with Mojo pork added. Walleye bites for an appetizer and a peanut butter cup, ice cream and a complimentary brownie from the staff. They even have a photo booth. We had a great time here.

Nancy Anderson: Great experience. The mimosa bar and the bloody mary bar was really fun and very good. The food was amazingParking: Ramp was easy to access the elevator right to Hell's Kitchen

Stephanie Hodges: We held our sellers dinner here for approx 35 people for a private event, using the far side pub. Not only was the atmosphere amazing the food and the staff and the ease of booking and follow up was amazing. I received so many thank yous and this was amazing and the perfect set up, food and drinks and Vanessa and her team were perfect! Need a place for your company/team outing? This was it!

SHARESHA GREEN: Atmosphere: 5/5

Natalie Peterson: Had the fish & chips and my friend got the ham & pear crisp sandwich, we both had garlic Parmesan fries and shared the brownie dessert. SO. GOOD.Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten-free options on the menu!

George Waggoner: Poutine with bison was excellent.

Tilia: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: Love this place! Every cocktail I've ordered has been spot-on, and the dishes always bring together unexpected flavors. The brunch menu includes chilaquiles, which you don't see everywhere in the Twin Cities.Tilia also has a thoughtful kids menu and not particularly expensive. Top it off with kind servers, and it's well worth it.

Augustin McLaughlin: Pros: Good cocktails, amazing service, cozy interior.Cons: Nothing really.Drank: Two CocktailsRecommend: Yes

Weo Kick: and atmosphere cozy. Our main dishes were a little less mind blowing than the small-dish starters... One was rich but really toooo rich, making it heavier than is enjoyable, while the other entree had outstanding flavors that didn't quite blend as they should... Sharp and tangy beets, grilled cauliflower and minerally fish not melding quite right. The flavors didn't create a symphony, but also kept me intrigued... maybe it has to grow on me? All in all a very good experience and we'll definitely be back to try more original recipes. Happy this unique dining experience exists so nearby.

The kitchen stops cooking or taking orders at 2:00 and parts of our party were later than our reservation and they still were wonderful to all of us. The food was delicious. The drinks were great. And when I made a mess they handled it with the greatest of ease. Wonderful brunch!

Martina: what do users think?

Michelle Nicholson: , bringing his milk in a small pitcher easy to pour into a sippy cup, and to myself - bringing a mocktail version of my dad’s birthday drinks unprompted as I am expecting. The birthday candle on my father’s gelato and grandson / family time made it a super memorable experience. Thank you, Martina!

Christine Hubert: Such a great experience! I made reservations for my husband’s birthday on a Friday night. They sat us immediately and told us they saved us a booth. Then they made us a complimentary birthday drink. The food was delicious and drinks were good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will put this on our “restaurants list” for future fine dining options!

JANN BERGLUND: Drove 4 hours for my bday and can't wait until my next! In love with the octopus! Fun vibe, great service and unique drinks.Vegetarian options: Very fresh and creative options.

Kado no Mise: what do users think?

Jordan Brainard: We came for Omakase Matsu and also had the sake pairings. For two people, the highest level of omakase, a flight of paired sake, plus a couple extra orders of nigiri, we approached $500. The bill is total, there was not even a line for leaving a tip.I think this is a 5 star experience and worth the money for you if you know you already like the style of food. The other person in my party has eaten and prepared Japanese food for years and thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal, as well as the sake.On the other hand, while I consider myself an adventurous eater, and after trying everything, I found the food to be almost off putting. I would not take someone here if they don’t know what they’re in for: cold jellies, custards in warm broth, tiny whole squids, eels, obviously raw fish, etc. In other words: I don’t think this is a place you go to be introduced to the style of cuisine. The service was without reproach, best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant across any cuisine or city in this country. The service ware was also so unique. Every piece was unique, repaired with bits of gold, and traditional. Very beautiful. Everything done here is done with a high level of perfection and attention to detail.

Linda McLoon: All through the worst part of the pandemic, we tried to get take out from our favorite places. Restaurants really struggled, and it seemed important to keep the ones we loved. Kado no Mise was one of them. We just went back for a matsu table service multi course dinner. It is such a wonderful place, and the food is perfectly prepared classical Japanese food. We also opted for the sake tasting, which I highly recommend. It was really marvelous. There were many courses. We started with sakizuke, which was made of surf clam, spinach, tofu skin, and shitake mushroom. They served "wandering poet" sake with it. Sake names are the best! I won't enumerate all the many courses, but every one was perfect. We ended with a fabulous sequence of nigiri, including one topped with seared waygu. The most crazy course of the evening was fugu! Yes- the infamous puffer fish. It apparently is flown in from Japan and verified to be safe. It was interesting, for certain! The chef collects antique service ware from Japan. Each dish is served on beautiful and unique dishes. Each sake was served in a unique cup. These items are beautiful, and it feels very special eating from them. They are located at 33 North 1st Avenue in the North loop.I think it is impossible to eat here and not leave feeling calm and happy. The chef is the lovely smiling man in the bow tie. Be sure to wave!

David Wnek: Kada no Mise offers stunning food in their tucked away downtown location. Their omakase experience was delightful, featuring unique and delicate nigiri that blew us away, along with choice Japanese delicacies we've seen nowhere else.Alas, their tucked away location led to a very strange atmosphere, particularly the odd little room my wife and I were seated in. The dark room would have been atmospheric if it weren't for the bright red fire alarm and the three windows, two of which looked out to the bar and restaurant. The servers were all kind and knowledgeable, but there seemed to be a lack of coordination between them and a lack of practice on their delivery. An excellent food experience, though understand the rest of the dining experience may not reflect the pricetag.

KJ: Enjoyed omakase matsu with my daughter for our shared birthday celebration. After experiencing omakase in Japan, I have been craving that experience here. Just so happened the chef at Kado no Mise was an apprentice chef to the chef we ate with in Kyoto. Small world! Chef Furukawa made our meal at Kado no Mise memorable and served us the most delicious meal at the counter. It’s very expensive, but it’s more than just a meal. It’s a memorable, delicious experience, unlike any other place in the cities.
