Brandon Davis: I was a lil buzzed at Art-O-Whirl when I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I’ve been needing a desk to get to the height between 37-43 inches which is imperative for a DJ stand/table. Little did I know that Furnish carries Herman Miller standing desks that you can adjust to any height you’d like. I can stand and mix or sit and mix! I found one and put down half the money. I then woke up in the morning even more excited to pay the rest of the bill. Furnish supports the re-integration of people coming out of incarceration through programs at the shop. Giving people second chances and highly discounted furniture are a win win. Thank you guys!!

park prin: I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.

The whole experience from the time I found it and made the first phone call to driving off was professional and outstanding. I would highly recommend them. After I ordered, communication was fantastic. There was a slight mix up about details of my order that was found when the chair was ready to be shipped. I got a call and email immediately to confirm all the details. The chair arrived in Oregon well packaged and I love it. I look forward to working with IDC for future furniture purchases.
Deena Fulton: I live on the East Coast and saw a shelving unit I wanted that was listed at a discounted rate on the website. I called to make sure the product was still in stock and to get an estimated shipping time, and the customer service rep let me know that they only had one left in stock and that it was the floor sample. They went and checked on it and told me it was damaged and they'd rather not sell it given the damage. So in the end I didn't purchase from this store, but I'm really grateful they were honest about the condition of the piece. Without their customer service, I would've just ordered the piece and it would've either been such a pain to deal with an interstate furniture return or such a disappointment to have a damaged piece.
Spencer Strand: I purchased a new home in the Milwaukee area and furnished my entire kitchen with International Design Center teak products. From the dining table, chairs, sideboard and hutch to counter stools it is all quality brand new products. A lot of teak I have found is used, so getting it new from IDC is what I wanted and at a fair price point. The delivery was simple. I paid for white glove and didn't have to lift a finger. I recommend going that route out of state. I had a couple questions once I received the product about treatment and Mark from their warehouse team was very helpful. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for teak furniture.

Once inside, it can be a bit chaotic.We've been here 4 or 5 times, and purchased over a dozen items.This is an outlet for customer returns, floor models, and/or discontinued items, so you never know what you are going to find. All the inventory is in very good shape, though. Some items have easily spotted minor imperfections, but most look brand new and in perfect condition to me.They are only open on the weekend, and people start to line up 30 or 40 minutes before the doors open. The line gets long, but moves a lot faster than you'd expect. Once, I was as at the end of the longest line I've seen there, and I waited about 30 minutes before I was in the door.Once you're inside, it's a bit hectic. Lots of people scrambling to look through the inventory. Once you find something you want, you flag down an employee who marks the item as sold, and gives you a tag to take to the register.The staff is fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. They do a great job managing the chaos. Without such a high quality staff, the place would be anarchy. Can't praise them enough.Once you've made a purchase, you can choose to have your items delivered

Steven: Deals can be had on quality Room & Board furniture but manage your expectations. 1st, it does take some time to get in the store when they open on Sat and also checking out takes some time. Expect to spend 90 mins to 2 hours here. 2nd, selection varies every weekend so there's a chance you won't see anything good on the day you go and all the hot deals will be gone by Sat afternoon. They do deliver and it's a flat fee no matter how many items so that is a bargain! Don't need to rent a truck and find help to move.

Gabe: The showroom has an excellent mix of different models of chairs and tables and displays them as they would be used in the real world. A large variety of used furniture is available and on display.It's the personalized expert help with shopping for furniture that is going to bring me back to the store. The chairs on display have a lot more features than the standard Office Max or Office Depot chairs do, and it can be difficult to figure out what you're looking for in a higher quality chair. Fortunately the sales staff are more than willing to help walk you through the chair features. Which means you'll find something that you're going to be happy to purchase.

Talk to Chris… he was amazing. Or anyone else for that matter! 😀When I found a chair that I loved, the prices were a just a touch higher than what my budget allowed for at the time, but the quality showed. All of the chairs from the other office places felt... well, I wouldn't want to sit on them and work all day long like I do now. While I didn't make a purchase while I was there, I will definitely be going back when I'm ready go pull the trigger.

Over the years they've become the supplier for all our furniture from desks to chairs to conference tables - buying both used and new. Over 40 pieces at this point. There's different personalities on the sales staff, but I've never had a bad experience.Used furniture: if you're new at this, expect websites to have some nice photos of great deals... And in person find it was "just sold yesterday", or a manipulated photo, and on comes the sales pressure for new stuff. SOS has been the only place I've found where the item on the website is the item in the store. If you want used furniture? That's what they sell you.New furniture: their deal on those cherry tone desks is unbeatable. You'd think Costco would be a good place for a quality/price breakdown on an office chair, but you'd be wrong.
