Merry Yeager: We just bought more masks from Kristen at Rethink, I can tell she put a lot of thought and effort into her design. It's nearly impossible to find a universal mask that will fit everyone perfect, but she got pretty close!! I like how the elastic can be tightened easily and I do think that helped some of my fitting issues. She even has a how to video for her masks! Mostly we love the playful fabric she chooses and I feel good supporting a business that cares so much about their community. Rethink has multiple volunteer and donations projects for COVID-19 locally. I'm also really stoked to get some sewing classes from her!

Michael Waldegerma: Owner is very honest about what can and can’t be done in terms of fixes. Has done everything from fixing seams to adjusting sizing. Can also make a suit but I haven’t personally gone through that process.

Also decided to bring my dress here due to the strap breaking and they were able to fix it. You can even tell it was altered! The ONLY con is they do not accept card, only cash. I will definitely return for anything I need fixed or altered.
GRAMS: I love this place. So good with my military attire. They were also able to tailor my suit to fit correctly and moved the button on my slacks for a slightly more comfortable fit.

My dress was sequined all over and she did not add any extra charges for having to deal with a complicated material. Her prices were incredibly reasonable, and whereas other wedding alteration shops wanted to charge me a “rush” alteration fee for asking that the alterations be done in under 1 month, she said that 1-2 weeks was no problem for her. The alterations were done on time and exactly at the price that she estimated when I dropped off my dress. Plus, I was never sure I was going to have that “wedding dress moment”, but when I tried on my dress after she finished the alterations I immediately cried and knew it was perfect for me. I saved hundreds of dollars and LOTS of stress having her alter my gown, and I would not hesitate to go back to her again. A true professional!Service:Alterations

Well, I took a chance on Stitch in Time Alterations and am thrilled with the results!I had an old flannel sleeping bag with shredded lining which was irreplaceable because sleeping bags like that aren't made anymore. The seamstress did an incredible job. She took out the old lining and stitched so that the lining was smooth across the entire sleeping bag. I am so grateful for the care she took in repairing what was in such bad shape that everyone except me thought I should just go buy another sleeping bag. Now I have many more years of using this sleeping bag to keep me warm especially in spring and fall! Thank you so much for your diligence!

Sam: so that the lining didn't need to be undone and resewn. When I picked up my coat, I saw they had gone above and beyond and even fixed the little tears. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or if they're just used to being thorough and doing great work, but I was really thrilled to have a durable coat again and plan on protecting it better in the future. I'm not sure what he wants to be known best for or what is the best use of a man of his talents but if I had any type of clothing in the future in need of a tailor, I'll go to him first.

She is beyond experienced - hearing her rapidly doing calculations off the top of her head after just looking at a garment is really impressive. She did a rush job on a long dress for me with what turned out to be a tricky fabric/seam.I also appreciate how good of a listener she is when it comes to how you want a garment to fit - I never felt dumb asking about any of my requests and as far as I'm concerned she can work magic.

When arriving the next day they had all my sizes laid out even thought they didn’t know for sure I was going to come. Nice quality product and super friendly/helpful service.
Mary Ann Van Cura: An acquaintance told me they had successfully repaired the zippers on some camping equipment. I stopped by today because I had a vinyl covered cushion with a challenging, separated zipper. They fixed it and secured it within 20 minutes. So grateful. And everyone was pleasant, attentive, informed.

I think it would be a good idea to repair the lair. Good job, and Thank you.Update as 03/2024:I used their service again recently. The rate has gone up, but it's understandable. I took a winter extra-long jacket to replace the zip. They were able to fix it in a few days. They have moved to a new location, but the service is still on the same stand. I recommend them.

Robb Stephens: This place is great. I have had several Duluth packs repaired here. Yesterday, I brought in a pack that had some seams on the shoulder straps starting to pop. They fixed it while I waited and only charged me $25. Help is always friendly and the new location on Minnehaha Avenue is far easier to get to.

The woman who helped me talked me through what it would look like as she had to cut through some important areas of the jersey, which was helpful in me being sure I wanted to alter so I thought it was a helpful step. The pricing was posted on the wall, but seemed to be a bit more of a negotiation process when we got to that point. I was happy to pay what she asked as I had a good feeling she was going to be sure it was well done. When I picked it up at the end of the week, she let me know she had to cut slightly different than what we discussed. This was no problem as I trusted her judgement and now I have an excellent jersey. This was my first experience getting something tailored, but next time I am in need I will be back to support this neighborhood shop.
