All Square: what do users think?

Mickey Bersky: Dietary restrictions: Their gluten-free bread is great quality! Heads up, the fries are coated so they are not gluten-free, but they easily switch mine for the tomato soup, and that was fantastic. Service was top-notch! Would like to see the fries listed as not gluten-free on the menu or at least the staff more knowledgeable about it at check out to save from any confusion. Even so, I am really looking forward to the next time I come back!

Shylo Stevens: Tasty and cool take on grilled cheese.Love the concept behind the restaurant along with the atmosphere.Resources available off hand, so COOL!

Hell's Kitchen Inc.: what do users think?

Jalen Bell: So when I walked past this place, my first thought was Gordon Ramsey’s famous tv show. Turns out they’re a local business, no affiliation. The burger was absolutely fantastic! Well seasoned, temperature just right, and it had bacon and tangy sauce that was similar to 1000 island. Bonus: They branded the bun with the logo which I thought was cool. Ordered cheesecake for dessert. A bit pricy but well worth the quality of food. I’d def eat here again when I’m in town.

Gina M: Mariann was the BEST!! This was our 1st time here and she was so nice and patient.Be careful when you bite into the inferno burger!! The cheese went everywhere 😭 Good burger though.Warm Greens Grain bowl with Mojo pork added. Walleye bites for an appetizer and a peanut butter cup, ice cream and a complimentary brownie from the staff. They even have a photo booth. We had a great time here.

Nancy Anderson: Great experience. The mimosa bar and the bloody mary bar was really fun and very good. The food was amazingParking: Ramp was easy to access the elevator right to Hell's Kitchen

Stephanie Hodges: We held our sellers dinner here for approx 35 people for a private event, using the far side pub. Not only was the atmosphere amazing the food and the staff and the ease of booking and follow up was amazing. I received so many thank yous and this was amazing and the perfect set up, food and drinks and Vanessa and her team were perfect! Need a place for your company/team outing? This was it!

SHARESHA GREEN: Atmosphere: 5/5

Natalie Peterson: Had the fish & chips and my friend got the ham & pear crisp sandwich, we both had garlic Parmesan fries and shared the brownie dessert. SO. GOOD.Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten-free options on the menu!

George Waggoner: Poutine with bison was excellent.

Galactic Pizza: what do users think?

Zach: but what restaurant eating out now isn’t?

Gaige Steele: this is the absolute best pasta and pizza i have had at a restaurant. there are tons of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. John really seems to care about his quality of food, and it shows. i got the pasta, and my girlfriend got the pizza, and we were both snagging bites from each other with how good it was. When i come back to Minnesota, this is a must stop.Dietary restrictions: there where so many gluten free options it was amazing to see

LM: I just moved back from WA and got Galactic for the first time in almost a decade. I worked here many moons ago, when Pete was the owner. I also enjoy whoever is replying to the reviews now, I'm assuming the current owner. This place will always have a spot in my heart, and the food is still so good. I can say from knowing personally, everything is high quality and made from scratch. It's actually so impressive, and they were ahead of a lot of trends before they became trendy. I would recommend the Shroomer, Ala Vodka, Mexicali, and Old School. Salads are also a fave, any of them. Glad this place is still around.

Sidebar at Surdyk’s: what do users think?

Alyssa Hernandez: I was shocked at how nice this bar within a liquor store is

Alex Watters: This spot was a little unexpected. When I am traveling, I love to scope out great liquor stores to find unique or more rare bottles of bourbon, and when I was talking to my friend from the cities, she said we had to go to Surdyk’s. She also said that she heard they have a pretty exceptional bar/restaurant connected to it. I was sold. The liquor store itself did not disappoint with floor to ceiling options, but Sidebar was equally impressive. It had a great ambience, this house old-fashioned might be one of the best I have ever had, and their food was unexpectedly elevated for being a restaurant connected to a liquor store. For example, they don’t have onion rings, they have onion bhaji which is like an onion fritter that was exploding with flavor and texture. Even these roasted brussels sprouts had additional elements that set them apart. There is an obvious reason that the liquor store was celebrating its 90th anniversary. When you’re doing things that well, people recognize it.Wheelchair accessibility: **one caveat I will give to this experience is that if you use a wheelchair or can’t manage stairs, you will need to enter the restaurant through the liquor store. The liquor store clerk that I asked about getting to the restaurant told me I had to go outside and get in the side door, but there were stairs, so I had to find a manager that could let me in through the liquor store.

Steven Miles MD: Excellent salad. Entree walleye was perfect. I am always surprised at the the speed and quality of food from the tiny kitchen. Rose is a terrific serverA quibble. This bistro is literally part of the best liquor store in the Twin Cities The wine selection is modest. As to spirits, on another visit, they “ran out” of one of the most common brands of bourbon.

Maxwell Kayser: Overall fun place for people who like food, though a bit hit and miss. We ate at the bar/restaurant and got a charcuterie board. The cheese was quite good, as was the honey and the pear jam. However, much of the rest of the food was good but less so, whether cooked/charred longer than I think it should've been or more bland than is typically expected of the dish. Our server was great. Very amiable, and made the best possible food recommendations. The environment had a relaxed fine dining feel. A tight space with lots of conversation happening and friendly staff.Kid-friendliness: The environment would be amenable to children but the menu probably isn't.Wheelchair accessibility: Getting into the space is perfectly fine, but the seating area is tight.

Kim Wolfe: Best drinks in NE Minneapolis! I love this fancy, little, upscale space to meet for drinks. The bartenders are some of the best. Love the atmosphere. Reservations are a must!

James Khuong: I literally had no idea it was connected to Surdyk's, but it was a very pleasant surprise. The bartenders greeted me as soon as I sat down and we were helped right away. The house Old Fashioned was made amazing, and the Mac and Cheese and Squash Ravioli were some of the best pasta dishes I've had. The ambience was very warm and lively here, and all around a great experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Warren Melton: Service: 5/5

FireBox Deli: what do users think?

Anthony Hultman: Good was pretty decent, even without sauce, and prices weren't bad.

Vince: The wings were done differently than I'm used; very good though. Mac N Cheese was 1 of the better I've had in awhile. The sweet potatoes... I am usually not a fan of them; these may have changed my mind they were so good.Parking: Off street parking out front.Wheelchair accessibility: 1st level, no steps, off street parking directly in front.

Hernando Brunson: Great food!!!

Jared: THE go-to BBQ spot in Minneapolis. The value is unparalleled. Take out is always ready on time.Personal favorite is the pulled pork sandwich. I could use a little less potato and more crispiness in the fries. Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes are my favorite sides. Hard to beat the FEAST order for a small group.

willie cotton: Awesome dealership, with a great staff.

keno cox: Good eats

Mark Engstrom: I’ve had the wings, ribs, pulled pork, and brisket here and they have all been very good. Brisket sandwich and ribs especially.

Diana Sparks: Excellent pulled pork sandwich. Superb collard greens. Perfect sweet potatoes. Divine ribs. It's all carry out. It's so good you might want to eat in your car right there in the parking lot!

FastFoxx 99: Trying something new has never tasted so good. And its not scary where it is either like many would assume. It's delicious and beautiful well worth the trip if your a bunch of miles away

Tasha Brown: I have fell in love with them from day one 😍 my favorite hands down will always be the best

Cora Chestnut: They have the best ribs and macaroni and cheese, if you haven't tried this food you should

Revival MPLS: what do users think?

Jewel Ryan: I went here for a friend's birthday and they happily accommodated a group of 7 even thought they are quite small for a restaurant. I initially thought their prices were fairly high for chicken, but then I received my food. I ordered the chicken tender plate, and I swear I got 4 MASSIVE chicken tenders. It's definitely different from what I was expecting but worth the cost. They were a bit difficult to eat because of their size, but I had leftovers for days. Would recommend for a nice relaxed group of friends. Order the lowest spice level unless you really do like spicy. One of my friends was sweating eating their middle tier chicken tenders haha.

Matthew Schepp: On a recent trip back to Minneapolis, we dined at Revival for the first time in a few years. This updated location has added parking which was a great touch! The menu, and food is still as fantastic as it always has been!

The Mindful Midlife Crisis Podcast (Billy Lahr): It's been a while since I've been to Revival, so I'll just talk about my first few experiences, which were awesome. I still believe this is the best burger in town, and when you can order a whole Nashville Hot Chicken as a complement to that tasty burger, what's not to love? I know there are a couple of Revival restaurants in the TC now, but I like the intimate atmosphere this one provides. The best experiences I've had is when I bring 2-3 friends with me who are from out of town and we order a bunch of different menu items. They all rave about how amazing the food is here. I don't live in MN anymore, but I hope the quality of the food at Revival is still at a high level the next time I'm back in town! Highly recommend!

Latasha Dyar: Atmosphere was good low key ...good food.

Jorea Fleurant: The food is amazing, Nikki, Pyra, and Ramona were all so kind to me, they work hard and give Fogo such a good presentation and vibe the service is always good, the lamb Chops medium well were absolutely delicious.. the staff need raises they work hard and always under pressure from other rude customers..I watched these 3 ladies stay professional and handle things very well up front.. Fogo should hire more like them.. I love this place..

Janelle Sorenson: Know the restaurants that play overly loud music, so you can't talk while at a table? Thankfully, this is NOT one of them. We have been here quite a few times, and the food, service, and atmosphere are always top-notch. The first time, we didn't realize the happy hour menu was only for the bar and patio ... it would be nice if it was restaurant-wide. Otherwise, the food is incredible. Having a vegetarian in the family, there are quite a few options available at this place! Parking is a breeze at this location, too! We will be back!

My first Juicy Lucy and it was fantastic, first time anyone ever got the meat cooked right.Only reason for the 4 star is that the Bun came out cold. FOOD BUILDING: what do users think?

Jan Harbaugh: Holiday sale! Very crowded! All kinds of food & vendors, tables outside & warming barrels to eat outside.

M@ Ott: My wife and I just had our wedding reception here and Perfect is the only word that kept coming to mind when I started trying to sum up my experience. However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. Every expectation I had was exceeded by orders of magnitude and I had high expectations. Do your event here. You will not regret it.

Donna Klingenberg: ! The Irish Whiskey tasting was outstanding too. Such a unique venue. Highly recommend!

Carly Ellefsen: fantastic. Our guests kept saying how perfect it was for a smaller wedding reception like ours and seriously couldn't stop talking about the food.Additionally, planning a wedding is stressful. Katie took the stress out of it - she helped us make decisions, was proactive about seating, menu, etc. I felt so at ease after meeting with her to go over details. Usually on the day of the event, something always goes a little awry, but nothing did. Our reception was effortlessly smooth, and that was thanks to Katie's organizational skills and planning. As someone without a day-of coordinator or wedding planner, I was so thankful for Katie's expertise, time, energy, and talents.

Eric Borlaug: Food paradise.

T: Amazing food and service in a unique setting. $$

Mary Van Hale: Attended a fun event there. Great space, very comfortable but large.

Jan Rolfe: I love every nook and cranny about this place! Must come and experience!

Phillip Markel: The Food Building has magic inside.

B H: I was originally here for work but stayed extra for the food. I bought some dark brown bread, a cured fennel salami and the bluest cheese I have ever eaten. The salami was slowly eaten in razor thin slices. The bread was rendered into some wonderful roast chicken sandwiches. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on the Bodega Blue.....Pears Stilton! My wife and I enjoyed the best blue cheese stuffed pears ever made. I look forward to future forages at the Food Building.

Darrin Gerr: Great place great people

Tiffany Mcdougal: Very very good cinnamon rolls and coffee and the boards will add photo of that as well

Trevre Andrews: The best bread in the twin cities. The place seems to be expensive, but it is worth it. Ham egg cheese sandwich - out of this world. Coffee on point. A half a pound of their royal ham will get you way farther than 3 pounds of commercial lunchmeat.

Lowry Hill Meats: what do users think?

Robert Bischel: I have to admit, I've lived in Minneapolis for six years and I've walked past this place dozens of times and haven't stopped in. Today I finally did and it's a really chill place with great staff. I had the Pastrami and Rye and it's definitely a hard to beat sandwich!

Evan Vranian: Got the Cubano to go, was great.Fine selection of meats and specialty kitchen goods. Great butcher shop in Mpls

Ryo Flying: A great local deli with locally sourced meats. Their muffaletta sandwich was excellent. There are a few tables and a counter to dine in, or you can order ahead for pick up. They sell a variety of cheeses, condiments, sauces, sodas, bread etc for yourself or someone else as a gift. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their products.

Isabel Oliveira: Delicious sandwiches and nice service!

Tracey Barnett: Excellent meats here, come and get them

Andrew Headrick: Incredible sammies and best place to go for high quality or unique cuts of meat

Stephen Eigenmann: One of my favorite places to grab lunch from on the weekends, they have takeaway options as well as sandwiches and meats. I really enjoy going into this establishment.

C W: All I have to say is sitting in my truck eating their pastrami right out of the wrapping with my bare hands will go down in history as one of the BEST experiences of my life. You've NEVER tasted pastrami as incredibly delicious as this pastrami. Ever. If I was on death row, having this as my last meal would make it all worth it.Here's a picture of what I did with the leftovers I managed to not eat on my way home.

The Herbivorous Butcher: what do users think?

Andrea M: I first went to herbivorous butcher on a business trip to Minneapolis - maybe 8 years ago. Well fast forward and we are still ordering online from them years later since we don’t live in Minnesota. My husband adores the pastrami! As a long time vegan of 28 years, I have tried many faux meats and cheeses and I think they do an exemplary job. They are super creative people with a vision. I don’t know how they have the time to do everything they do- start a vegan butcher shop; start a farm sanctuary; write a cookbook; open more vegan restaurants… just wow!

Red Cow 50th & France: what do users think?

Lizz Rogers: Great gluten-free substitutes. Dedicated GF fryers. I miss the specialty popcorn tho.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options

Shawn Miranda: I got the 60/40 burger rare and chicken tenders with a hot dry rub, and it was cooked to my liking. I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. It wasn't a big deal but it would be less than ideal in the winter.

Adam Levy: Red Cow 50th & France is fantastic! A buddy and I just stopped in today and were greeted and seated in very short order on the lovely patio. Our server knew the menu well, made suggestions and accomodated special needs with aplomb! The food was delicious and I was very happy with the new balsamic onion jam and the service was great! I'll return very soon!

Lloyd Nickel: We stopped for dinner on a Thursday night. We sat at the bar. The place was already staring to fill up and it was 5:30 pm. Bartender was very friendly and we ordered our drinks. We ordered food-Double Barrel Burger and chicken wrap. Both were fantastic. I have grown to love smash burgers and the special sauce was fantastic. Also ordered sweet potato planks. Would definitely recommend.

Sacha Bisou: in which case you will be led to the left. It was the lunch hour and a rather warm day for the locals and so the right wing was filled with retired folk who were getting a break from the 30 degree chill of March. Yes it was a rather warm winter for these folks who missed their subzero rituals this year. Thanks to the Red Cow, this was the right place to come together and catch up just like old times. The fare was delish and the hamburgers served here are unapologetically real beef. The salads here seem to be an attraction as well and have their own following. But if you just want to have your space, take a left at the entrance and order something from the bar to warm up your core, fingers and toes.

Joanne Ziarko: Visited while on a MOA Spring Break from Chicago. Really nice location. Food was delicious. I had the patty melt with coleslaw and my husband had the chilaquiles, which he also enjoyed. Kiddos enjoyed their chicken and grilled cheese; I appreciate that it came with veggies and a surprise cookie. Service was very quick but polite as it should be. I will note they do not serve poutine fries anymore which is why we came here in the first place, but we weren't disappointed with all of the other options. Would definitely come again if we're ever in the area.

Mark Solie: Ok I'm getting very hard to please in my old age when it comes to restaurants. Are they clean? Is the food exceptional? Is the service impeccable? Almost always I have a gripe. My first time to Red cow. It was clean, food was exceptional, service impeccable. Fantastic experience on a busy Saturday night. The only negative I have is can get very loud which it was. Will be back!

Uncle Franky's: what do users think?

tim seldal: The staff here is awesome and so much fun! We really got a kick out of them. The food is really good and was impressed on how yummy it was. They also have local made craft soda on tap which is very good as well. The place may look a little rough but it just adds to the character I think it puts it in the category of a wonderful dive bar but without alcohol. We will be back for more yummy food!3rd time here was a dud. They forgot/lost our order. Took almost an hour to get our food. The tots were over cooked. The onion rings were barely cooked. The burger and chicken sandwich were way over done. The Philly steak and the milk shake were still good. Skip the wings they were pretty bad. My advice if they very busy and/or packed go elsewhere and try again... not at lunch time on a weekend...

Drake Friesen: Gave their wings a try today and really liked them!Food: 5/5 …

Trypp Adams: I got the Chicago Italian Beef with dip on the side and my friend got the juicy juicy burger... we split some cheese curds. The place has that "hole in the wall" feel and menu is pretty basic. We sat outside, behind the restaurant and enjoyed some great weather and our food. The Italian beef was good but it's very messy if you try to pick it up and you loose the combination of flavors if you go at it with a knife and fork. I would appreciate a larger bun, personally. I would say about a quarter of our cheese curds were cooked to the point where the cheese had left the breaded casing, leaving an empty fried dough shell. Not sure I'd seek it out, but if you're looking for a Chicago dog or Italian Beef sandwich, it's an option.

Northbound Smokehouse & Brewpub: what do users think?

Stacy Steinmetz: I hadn't been there for a few years but always remember this place. Best porketta sandwich I have ever eaten!

Shylo Stevens: Although they were busy and service took a while, it was worth the wait!! The meat was cooked so perfectly it melts in your mouth. The pollock was so light and crispy.Definitely eager to try again.

Chelsea K: This place has great food. I usually get the BBQ chicken bowl, but went for the Mushroom Bliss Burger this time around and it did not disappoint. The fish and chips are another go to and the Reuben of course. The Hushpuppies are the best in MN, I'll argue. And those chicken wings are delightful. The Sweet & Spicy Wings are not to be taken lightly, they are a good heat and will make you pause to sip your drink or eat some fries. Not to be missed though, because they're perfection. The sides are generously portioned with heaps of salad or fries on the side. I've just gotten an appetizer and split the side from someone else's meal before and sometimes that's the way to go. But those fries are so good that you might not want to share lol! Also good are the Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich, the Fried Chicken Sandwich and The Northbound Burger. The patio here is one of the best in the area too, so if you're going when the weather's nice, go early to get a table. They also brew their own beers and have cocktails and mocktails. The N/A mocktails are always spot on. Love the recent blueberry one. Simply delicious.Parking: You might not always be able to get a spot right out front, but there's plenty of parking around the corner or down the street a bit.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and kids cups with lids to keep little ones from spilling as much. The kids menu is generously portioned too.
