Demi: what do users think?

Ryan O John: Top 3 meals I’ve ever had. Creative pairings, stellar raw ingredient quality, locally sourced, and fabulously curated textures and tastes. On top of that the vibe is just purely welcoming and friendly.Dietary restrictions: They can seemingly accommodate anything with advance notice.

Felix Gill: It is a small kitchen environment. Seats about 25 people max. We got the eleven course Whitney meal. Great presentation.Had a lovely time.Parking: Use the valet.

Vitor Yamaoto: You walk in into a small yet inviting waiting area with a small bar. If you got the pre drink package, you get a small menu of crafted cocktails or you can ask the bartender to make your own. After your introductory drink, they take you to the dining area which is a U shaped are with the kitchen in the center. You get an amazing experience from start to finish with 7 to 11 courses; you won't leave hungry. The wine pairing is carefully selected for a perfect match to each dish. The food is TOP NOTCH. They way the flavors come together in your pallet is really an experience you need to have for yourself.

Bethany Charlsen: We’re hard to impress, fussy and difficult. This place continues to top our list of the best in the Twin Cities and even US/worldwide.Yes, it’s deserving of at least two Michelin stars. The ambience, cuisine, and staff are remarkable.Yes, you might need to save up for a dinner here although the Barrington option offered Wednesday, Thursdays and Sundays is lovely and a steal at $95/pp.Yes, every time you go the experience will be a bit different yet still the same in some ways with those gooey, warm Rice Krispie treats at the end as an example.Yes, the staff is passionate and eager to share their expertise and showcase their knowledge with you and….Yes, you will feel cared about and valued as a guest. Every time.

Anna Torgerson: Hell yeahRecommended dishes Truffles, Wagyu Beef Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend …

Linda McLoon: I love to cook, and I love dining out. I love to try new foods and foods cooked in different ways. I find the complex mixtures of ingredients to make a totally new dish fun and exciting. If this is you, you will adore Demi. The food is sublime, the ambience serene, and the service is impeccable and joyful. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed. We started with a warm broth made from roasted beets. Light and warming. The first course was a triple. The sweet potato tart with pickled kombu, nori, black truffle, and miso was absolutely scrumptious. The other two small bites were lovely, but, oh my, that sweet potato tart! These were followed with a lovely fresh scallop crudo, beautifully plated. I adore foie gras, and the Demi version was slices of a terrine served with prune and preserved lemon. The foie gras was smooth; this was really yummy. The fish course was sturgeon, interestingly served with rutabaga puree and little slices of crispy rutabaga. This really worked. The pasta dish was so delicious, and I mean really, really delicious. This is the type of pasta you think about for days. These were chestnut agnolotti, served with celery root, cognac cream, and pomegranate. I could have eaten a huge bowl of these. A triumph in flavor and texture. Mmmmm! The duck and beef courses were also delicious, cooked perfectly, with perfect accomplishments. I had to laugh at the cheese course, as it was actually a cheese tartlet, with endive marmalade and pine nuts. These were perfect. We had a delicious sorbet palate cleanser, and a very interesting sunchoke bavaroise and ice cream dessert. And you leave with a little box of candies. This is a nice touch.Eating here is an adventure in deliciousness. Every dish is beautifully plated on interesting service ware. Your water glass never goes unfilled. You are served at your own pace. The staff is clearly and justly proud of what they are serving you.I have eaten at some magnificent restaurants in Copenhagen, Barcelona, France, and this absolutely meets the standard of those Michelin starred restaurants - and better than some.It is not cheap. You know what you are getting into when you reserve your table. However, the food is divine. If you like to know what you are going to eat before you get it, this is not the place for you. If sturgeon with rutabaga puree gives you pause, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are willing to put your meal in some very capable hands, and don't bat an eye at eating smoked white fish, broccolini, and caviar, you will fall in love with Demi.

Gabriela Seidel: put it, made me not miss wine.Thank you Demi for taking such good care of us and for giving us a night to remember!

Carolyn Livingston: Just go. It's perfect. Staff was amazingly friendly and made the evening for us.

Jeremy: Weee! That was fun. No idea what the second seating is doing, our reservation was at 5:30, didn't get home till after 9. Go early, it's an adventure. Even the bathroom was meditative and romantic. Not sure what else to say about it. It's a great experience. All the dishes were fantastic but for me the vegetables really shined. I know a full 11 course vegetarian menu would never sell but they could pull it off.

Chris Valenty: A truly memorable dining experience, definitely lives up to the high praise. We had been waiting for a while to visit Demi, we had seen the stellar reviews for a few years now. The dining experience is very immersive with the open kitchen format. Being able to speak to the chefs as they deliver each course, really helped us understand the creativity and depth of flavors in each dish. As a fan of the Netflix Show “Chef’s Table”, this is first dining experience I’ve had in Minneapolis that felt like a world-class fine dining experience like you would see on Chef’s Table.

Tenant Restaurant: what do users think?

Eleanor Frisch: This is the finest dining in Minneapolis, hands down. I went in February 2024 and everything was executed with meticulous care. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. There was nothing superfluous, nothing too heavy, nothing too acidic. The wine pairings were well thought out. Also, none of the staff forgot I was a pescatarian at any point. It was also the perfect amount of food. For the quality of the food the prices were extremely reasonable. I have been to most of the fine dining establishments in the Metro and don't think the others, like Travail or Spoon and Stable, which are amazing in their own right, can really compare to Tenant. This is where you bring a true foodie if you want to impress them.

Bethany Charlsen: We've dined here many times and every meal is a unique experience. It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.

Alma: what do users think?

C T: This is a quaint restaurant with a high-end tasting menu. You start your journey at the concierge booth, which also doubles as hotel check-in. They escort you through large doors and seat you immediately, assuming you made reservations in advance. Our server was very attentive to our needs and explained the pairing for each of the courses we had. The food was definitely a journey for you palate. The caliber of the kitchen is topnotch! The kitchen is open and right next to the dining area, and we didn't hear a peep out of the chefs. That just shows you the quality of professionalism they have. Smooth and running like a well-oiled machine. I would highly recommend celebrating a special occasion with Alma!

Nicole Gislason: We had the most wonderful experience for my sister's 30th birthday dinner. It was a curated menu where the plates just came out in courses. You let the server know what dietary needs you had at the beginning... We started out with some great cocktails and then a wonderful recommended wine. We loved every single part of this meal and experience. Do not miss this!

The Oceanaire Seafood Room: what do users think?

Ellen Bracewell: Audrey was a wonderful amazing waitress and I enjoy her great personality

Kevin Biegler: Hadn't been to Oceanaire in many years. Now I cannot remember why and we will be back much much sooner. Stopped in on whim after the Twins opener sat at the bar. The signature Old Fashioned is beyond compare. The raw bar was fresh and their oysters incredibly delicious. We did a series of appetizers and cocktails the bar staff was friendly and efficient and fun! It was still the same great Oceanaire we remembered and we won't be waiting to go back! Thanks for a great evening!

Francis Henry: Always a 5 star experience!!Recommended dishes Seafood …

Borough: what do users think?

Matt Kalan: The execution has consistently been good here. The menu has nice variety and is updated fairly frequently. The highlights last night were yellowtail sashimi with a sauce and surprisingly carrots in a pestoDietary restrictions: They had a lot of options for gluten-free either inherently or could adjust items

Alton Gerold: My girlfirend and I went last night 1/10/24 and had their date night special, all courses were excellent, service was great! We will certainly be returning in the future. Good idea to visit both this location and Parlour in the basement if you are making a trip to the cities for either restaurant.Parking: Parking was very easy for us on a Tuesday as a spot was open in the paid parking lot 20 feet from door, on a weekend it may be tougher as this area has more limited parking and is very busy on weekends. Likely valet would be the way to go on the weekend and visit both Borough and Parlour to get full value!

Tilia: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: Love this place! Every cocktail I've ordered has been spot-on, and the dishes always bring together unexpected flavors. The brunch menu includes chilaquiles, which you don't see everywhere in the Twin Cities.Tilia also has a thoughtful kids menu and not particularly expensive. Top it off with kind servers, and it's well worth it.

Augustin McLaughlin: Pros: Good cocktails, amazing service, cozy interior.Cons: Nothing really.Drank: Two CocktailsRecommend: Yes

Weo Kick: and atmosphere cozy. Our main dishes were a little less mind blowing than the small-dish starters... One was rich but really toooo rich, making it heavier than is enjoyable, while the other entree had outstanding flavors that didn't quite blend as they should... Sharp and tangy beets, grilled cauliflower and minerally fish not melding quite right. The flavors didn't create a symphony, but also kept me intrigued... maybe it has to grow on me? All in all a very good experience and we'll definitely be back to try more original recipes. Happy this unique dining experience exists so nearby.

Joan's in the Park: what do users think?

Sydney Davis: Truly a dining experience like no other. The food is delicious - I eat the steak every single time I go because it is my favorite food in the world. I'm pretty sure everything on their menu is made from scratch and every flavor is perfect. They take such care and pay such huge attention to the details. The wine pairings are out of this world, and it's such a luxury to turn off my brain and just know that every sip will be perfect. And the service is the warmest, most competent and most genuine service I have ever experienced. You will feel cared for without feeling smothered, and they will go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying every moment.

Gaye G.: Our evening at Joan's in the Park was exceptional. Our waiter was personable and helpful, and the food--every bite--was wonderful. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the unobtrusive, but melodic, playlist. It was nice to be able to savor our meal without feeling rushed and, the restaurant is small enough that it's a great place for conversation too.If you are looking for a special and memorable--but not pretentious-- meal, you can't go wrong at Joan's in the Park.If you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary, be sure to let them know when you make your reservation. We were at Joan's for a special occasion, and they added special touches which made us feel celebrated and right at home--all in the best ways.

Karen Sauro: to the overseeing by Joan herself, and all the prep by Jen for our group, we were already blown away. Then the food arrived. Each bite sent us into reverie. Are they magicians??Dietary restrictions: I cannot do butter. They were beyond accommodating!

Zoe Kourajian: This was truly the best meal of my life. My husband and I went for my birthday, and they made it so special with complementary Prosecco, confetti, and a photo to take home. The food and the wine pairings were beyond incredible. If you are looking for, a special meal out, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I cannot wait to go back for my birthday next year!

Mathew Lu: . The food was good—more elevated comfort flavors than modernist cuisine

Brianne Vogel: My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Joan’s. Our food, drinks, and service were phenomenal. We especially enjoyed the savory eclairs, beef tartare, duck breast, and brown butter pudding along with the intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend Joan’s for special occasions or just to enjoy an upscale dining experience.

Samantha Marren: . They sent us a complimentary round of champagne to celebrate while our server Dan welcomed us in and answered any initial questions we had.Service, from start to finish, was a proper experience in real hospitality. We were so attended to the entire time. Dan did an exceptional job, we can't say enough. It is so refreshing to receive such care as a guest. It was refined, upscale, and truly fine dining, but it felt as cozy and loving as being in mom/dad/loved-one's dining room. The dining room was full, which is always a delight to see, and the energy of the space was upbeat and lively. The way a bathroom is kept says a lot about an establishment and the bathrooms were clean, they smelled nice, and were clearly well maintained. The menu was absolutely divine. First of all, it was SO fun to look through each course and see dishes that we've never had before, think about what we wanted to try, what we might share together and what we were most excited about individually. Then to receive each course and to be completely blown away by the flavors, textures, plating, and overall harmony of all of the ingredients... It is *abundantly* clear that whoever is leading the BOH/Kitchen is creating from a place of love because we could feel it in every bite of our evening. Each course was such a beautiful experience; however, my particular favorite was the poached shrimp for my second course. We shared a couple of desserts and a bottle of wine and had

W Minneapolis - The Foshay: what do users think?

Moe Omur (Mo): The W Minneapolis offers a truly luxurious experience that exceeds expectations. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with exceptional service and a modern, stylish atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The hotel's restaurants and bars are top-notch, offering delicious food and drinks in a chic setting. Overall, the W provides a 4-star experience that's worth every penny.

Paul McLellan: Growing up in minneapolis, I had always heard of the Foshay but did not know the intricate details behind the history of the place. While vacationing in Minneapolis with my wife, it was one of her targeted areas and we thoroughly enjoyed the museum that told the nuanced history of the building but the great surprise was the observation deck on the top floor. It was a stunning 360° View of the entirety of Minneapolis and was worth every penny.

MaiNhia Lee: The foshay was a nice hotel. I got a suite there on a Saturday and they had a live dj event that night too. Super sweet hotel manager told the bartender to give me their best cocktail drink because it was my birthday and my sister asked which was their best cocktails. She paid $20 bucks for that cocktail and it tasted different but good. The dj event was great as well and I was able to make a few requests for him to play my music. Had a great time there. The hotel was clean and pretty. The 27th floor is where the other bar/lounge was and I was a little disappointed with the size of it. It was small and not roomy at all so didn’t even stay there. Overall, it’s a cute place and I wouldn’t mind getting a room there again.

Rachel L: and it was half clean. We called and immediately got switched to another room which was actually nicer so we weren’t too upset. But then we noticed there was no hot water that night. Figured it was just us and would be fine by morning. The next morning
