Jewel Ryan: I went here for a friend's birthday and they happily accommodated a group of 7 even thought they are quite small for a restaurant. I initially thought their prices were fairly high for chicken, but then I received my food. I ordered the chicken tender plate, and I swear I got 4 MASSIVE chicken tenders. It's definitely different from what I was expecting but worth the cost. They were a bit difficult to eat because of their size, but I had leftovers for days. Would recommend for a nice relaxed group of friends. Order the lowest spice level unless you really do like spicy. One of my friends was sweating eating their middle tier chicken tenders haha.

Davis Zackaria: Incredible setting with amazing service… loved the part where they show different meat cuts and the size they are serving!!Ordered Double Porterhouse, Roasted Bone Marrow, Sautéed Mushrooms, Glazed Sprouts, and creamed garlic spinach among three people. The portion was filling and the meat was juicy and super delicious.

It was surprisingly very busy for a weekday night, so it was a good thing that we had reservations.We all got drinks, and I went with the sangria - it was perfectly made! We also started with meatballs and brussel sprouts to share, which were fine.For my meal, I ordered the lasagna, which is my #1 favorite food, so I wanted to see how Zelo did with theirs. It was very good. I loved that they used ricotta, had plenty of cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce on top. The overall taste was fantastic! My only complaint was that the bottom layer was crispy/crunchy and overdone. If it had been properly cooked, I'd put it up there with the best. The small portion was good enough for me for one meal.Everyone on my team enjoyed their meals - they all had pork chops, pizza, chicken parm, ravioli, etc.We ended with desserts to share, and I will say I was not really impressed, they were just okay. I would just recommend sticking with the meals as that is where they excelled.I would definitely recommend Zelo if you are in the area for an enjoyable Italian dinner.

The manager himself stopped by to make sure they had the list of allergies correct before they placed the order. It was one of the best salads I've ever had! Jorea Fleurant: The food is amazing, Nikki, Pyra, and Ramona were all so kind to me, they work hard and give Fogo such a good presentation and vibe the service is always good, the lamb Chops medium well were absolutely delicious.. the staff need raises they work hard and always under pressure from other rude customers..I watched these 3 ladies stay professional and handle things very well up front.. Fogo should hire more like them.. I love this place..

Jalen Bell: So when I walked past this place, my first thought was Gordon Ramsey’s famous tv show. Turns out they’re a local business, no affiliation. The burger was absolutely fantastic! Well seasoned, temperature just right, and it had bacon and tangy sauce that was similar to 1000 island. Bonus: They branded the bun with the logo which I thought was cool. Ordered cheesecake for dessert. A bit pricy but well worth the quality of food. I’d def eat here again when I’m in town.

Leila Croy: I hate to even share this, because I don't want them to get even busier than they currently are. BEST BURGERS EVER! I mean hands down delicious and juicy. Service is personable and top notch. Even the host will grab your water and drinks, which shows this team enjoys their jobs and coworkers. Everything I've tried has been delicious and well thought out. From sushi to fried cauliflower to burgers and finish with the tres leches cake.

Alex Rudie: Stopped in for a late lunch on a rainy day and was able to order off the dinner menu a little early. We got the lobster poutine as a an appetizer, and it came out super hot and fresh. The cheese melted on top was so gooey and delicious. I ordered the stuffed salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and flakey, and the lobster stuffing was yummy. The wild rice was a tad sweet but still yummy.

I understand the place gets busy but drinks go without refills, and most recently we wrapped up our dinner in under an hour, but according to the rules of table reservations parties of 4 are allowed up to 2 hours. We were leaving soon and had paid the tab.We were a party of 3, and our third went to use the rest room. While we were waiting for her return a manager came and told us we had 5 minutes to wrap it up. Bizarre and pushy, especially because we were dining with a reservation and had occupied the table for less than hour. Love the burgers, bummed about the service.

So, when we were returning after a 4-year absence, we HAD to stay at the Nicollet Island Inn. We met friends and family for an afternoon and evening of dining, drinks and fun. We received superb service, unsurmountable attention to detail and delicious, splendid meals. Wow! NII sets the new gold standard for hotels and restaurants. All of us who travel regularly were amazed at the professionalism, genuine care and alacrity that we enjoyed with every encounter, every meal and every conversation. You are a 10 minute walk to downtown Minneapolis. You are in the famed Nordeast Minneapolis - just look up Nye's Bar or St. Anthony Main! Interstate 35W is 5 minutes away and the University is a quick drive or bike ride. Centrally located and yet quiet and tucked away from the wild life.Safety: The island is well protected and well-lit. The area is always busy with foot traffic and runners/joggers. The inn does a great job of securing the parking lot and managing their outdoor patio to buffer you from the passers-by. You forget you are in a metropolitan area. They still use physical room keys!! It is classic!Walkability: You can walk anywhere at anytime from the Nicollet Island Inn. The area is constantly "afoot" with St. Anthony Main at your doorstep and downtown Minneapolis just 10 minutes away. Everyone walks in this area no matter the season.Food & drinks: The menu at NII is amazing. Each menu offers great selections with a good range for all appetites. The staff does an excellent job of accommodating food allergen requirements without skipping a beat. The wine list is very well curated and the bartender has years of mixology experience to make you the perfect iteration of any alcoholic beverage. The NII should be at the top of you dining list when in Minneapolis!
