Gardens of Salonica: what do users think?

Ron Fisher: art, and great food. Try the dolmades, we got 4 of them for only 3 bucks. they were worth their weight in gold. I cant wait to go back.

Jodie McGibbon: & waited. And waited. The other couple? They had drinks, menus & the servers complete attention. Us? Waiting. In fact I had to say something to the server. When he finally came to our table all flustered & stressed he told us about how the staff was all out sick, they were doing the best they could to keep up. We sympathized & settled in to have a nice meal. We ordered apps

C D: and they were absolutely superlative, and so was the rice they were served with. Gardens of Salonica has the best vegan dishes I’ve tried anywhere in the Twin Cities. They also have outstanding wine. I just wish they offered cooking lessons.Vegetarian options: Perfect spot for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians or carnivores

Crystal Garden: what do users think?

Cherry Yang: Great, delicious food overload! The Boat noodle was very good, the Kao piak was super flavorful and the fried rice was savory as can be. They are under new management, so things are still being adjusted like their menu. They still carry many of the popular old dishes that we loved and enjoyed but the new dishes added to the menu is worth the try and to die for. Tummy is full and happy! Overall, 10/10! Boat noodle was my favorite yum!

Susan Schueneman: This place is under new ownership. Photos are new owner photos. They are open now for takeout only, unofficially with a grand opening mid-April. New owners plan to open the dining room in mid-April. Love this place. We come here often. Top quality food preparation. This is a take out only restaurant, but Mang let us dine in. Friendly staff. We will visit often

Bill's Garden Chinese Gourmet: what do users think?

Videos / Non-Music: Really good food, especially the fried rice although I’d avoid the pineapple fried rice and hot and sour soup specifically. It’s a hit or miss usually and unfortunately, it’s a miss here. The pineapple has a slightly freezer burn taste to it whereas the soup has a strong taste of ketchup/hotsauce. Although all the other options are amazing! I usually get shrimp/chicken fried rice, beef and broccoli, or sesame chicken

Latrese M Crockett: One of my favorite places to eat vegetable fried rice. Management very nice and pleasant. Family oriented been coming here for ten years. And this place is better and better ❤️❤️❤️Vegetarian options: Come and try you'll 💕 it

Matisse May: Second time getting take out. Today they forgot half my order. Called to tell me it was their mistake. Drove back maybe 15 minutes. Asked for a free can of soda for my troubles. When I got to my car I realized they gave me free cookies. Great food and great people. 👍Parking: 2 spots for pickup right in front.

Peter Claassen: Delicious!

Café and Bar Lurcat: what do users think?

Heather Kaiser: This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.

Joan L: was in front of our order, so she offered us a side dish to accompany our main meals and we added the sweet potatoes.🐓 The main entrées were well done — chicken was beautifully carved and presented. The skin was tasty. The black rice and sauce were nice compliments to the meat.🐖 The pork chop was a beautiful, thick cut of meat. We ordered it medium and it may have been ever so slightly cooked a little under medium. Seasoning was perfect and had a nice, tart flavor coming through with the sauerkraut.🍠 🌟 WOW! 🤩 The sweet potatoes were the star of the evening! Sweet, savory, bright and fresh with lemon, crispy skins… just wow! Order the sweet potatoes!!🍰 For dessert, we ordered the chocolate panna cotta and olive oil cake. Both were absolutely stunning and would fit right in at any patisserie! Excellent flavors, textures, and presentation! Faultless!I’ll definitely be coming back!

Noel Stroner: This brunch spot is adorable and has excellent food and drinks. The service wasn’t great - no one explained to us the self serve area vs full service area when we walked in, just stared at us. Another group walked in behind us and the staff then proceeded to explain everything quite kindly to them. The staff member that took our order at the counter acted quite annoyed and barely spoke to us.

Kellie Hoffman: .The atmosphere was really cool!

A Google User: The cinnamon buns are out of the world Jamison the bartender hook me up I love this place I just hate because they only have it on the weekends

Nancy Hartsock: .And general manager McKenzie Hanson - I now have a new favorite, a side of Alfredo sauce with salad and breadsticks. WINNER!Kid-friendliness: We hadv4 teenagers. All were very happy

Serenna Hartsock: I came here for lunch with my mom, my sister, and my sister's friends. I got the chicken alfredo with chicken fritta and broccoli. DELICIOUS!Huge shoutout to the General Manager McKenzie Hanson! She's super sweet and friendly so make sure to say hello if you get the chance.I thank Karli for giving the best service. She's awesome! I RECOMMEND!!

Benjamin Laski: Vegetarian options: Labeled on menu. We just do soup and salad. It's perfect for us.Parking: Plenty of parking. Huge shared lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids have thier own menu and options. Easy on kids.

Leah H: they brought it out and I felt like it wasn't extra. My waiter took care of it and went the extra mile.Food was well seasoned and the drinks were great. Mixed well and not to overloaded with alcohol. Recommend this location!

Heather Piehl: We had a party of 9 celebrating a birthday. We did not call ahead, but we're given a private room that was just perfect! Our waitress was SO AMAZING! Of course, I can't remember her name - but if she saw this, she would remember our group, celebrating a 21st birthday on Sun 4/28.The food was so good, the drinks were great. We didn't feel like we had to rush or that we were an inconvenience at all - we have had bad ex0eriences at othe OG locations in the past, so didn't go into this with high hopes. The birthday girl picked it, so we went.I am so glad we did!Thank you for making our celebration so special!

Thai Garden: what do users think?

Kristina Etheridge: Update 04/2024Best Thai ever! Listen, if I could give this place 6 stars, I would! It was so good the first time I was here that I had to come back and bring my son. We drove 2 hours one way just to eat here. This place doesn't disappoint. I have traveled all over the U.S. and this restaurant has the best Thai food and Larb thay I have ever tried. The staff was amazing, and the chef greeted us, and once he heard how far we came, he had us try some of his favorite dishes. I have never received such amazing service anywhere.1st trip: March 2024Oh my goodness!! Absolutely delicious! Clean establishment, parking was easy, and the service was good. The food was the best I have had in a while. I ordered larb, spring rolls, and ginseng coffee. I love spicy food, and the larb was truly spicy and full of flavor! I will return here for sure! If you are in the area, it is a must try. This is my favorite restaurant in MN.

Sonia Gracescott: Finding vegan options is getting much easier, however, being served the same quality dishes in any restaurant can be rare. The Thai Garden made our dining experience feel normal and the food was exceptional! The ingredients were very fresh! The server was friendly and attentive, and the chef even made an appearance to check in with us. I will definitely be back again and recommend this gem to those like me who eat strictly plants.Vegetarian options: The menu clearly states what can be made vegan or gluten free - no guessing needed.

Greg Lessard: Talented chef, supports low to no gluten options when asked, always kind service. Best phó in town. Only a few tables but worth the wait.

Jeremy Swider: Best Thai food in the Twin Cities! Try a dish with their homemade wide noodles, such as their "Drunken Noodles."Vegetarian options: Nice vegetarian options, including vegetarian egg rolls, and tofu and mock duck as protein options for most dishes.

Tilia: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: Love this place! Every cocktail I've ordered has been spot-on, and the dishes always bring together unexpected flavors. The brunch menu includes chilaquiles, which you don't see everywhere in the Twin Cities.Tilia also has a thoughtful kids menu and not particularly expensive. Top it off with kind servers, and it's well worth it.

Augustin McLaughlin: Pros: Good cocktails, amazing service, cozy interior.Cons: Nothing really.Drank: Two CocktailsRecommend: Yes

Weo Kick: and atmosphere cozy. Our main dishes were a little less mind blowing than the small-dish starters... One was rich but really toooo rich, making it heavier than is enjoyable, while the other entree had outstanding flavors that didn't quite blend as they should... Sharp and tangy beets, grilled cauliflower and minerally fish not melding quite right. The flavors didn't create a symphony, but also kept me intrigued... maybe it has to grow on me? All in all a very good experience and we'll definitely be back to try more original recipes. Happy this unique dining experience exists so nearby.

The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar: what do users think?

sean spence: Awesome burgers

Chelsea K: that are both dog friendly. Good food, top notch service, great cocktails. The chicken and wild rice pot pie was a novel, yet obvious take on an old favorite. Of course those flavors go together. Can't believe it's not more common, but that's what's great about this place, they take familiar dishes and class them up. Really loved their cocktail options too. Will have to go back and try more because I was between a couple options. The blackberry sour was refreshing and had a hint of sweet to balance the tartness. Service was top notch, probably the best you'll get anywhere. Will definitely be back.Parking: There's a large parking lot that wraps around the restaurant. The back patio is in the parking lot. There's also street parking all around the lot, so if you can't find a spot in the lot, there are other options.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot more options for kids than on a standard kids menu and they had whole milk for littles. Their highchairs are better than most too with all the straps, etc. They give you crayons and the kids menu can be drawn on. Servers were good about putting food and drinks out of reach of babies and warning you about hot things. If you're looking for a family friendly meal out, this place has you covered.

Tenant Restaurant: what do users think?

Eleanor Frisch: This is the finest dining in Minneapolis, hands down. I went in February 2024 and everything was executed with meticulous care. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. There was nothing superfluous, nothing too heavy, nothing too acidic. The wine pairings were well thought out. Also, none of the staff forgot I was a pescatarian at any point. It was also the perfect amount of food. For the quality of the food the prices were extremely reasonable. I have been to most of the fine dining establishments in the Metro and don't think the others, like Travail or Spoon and Stable, which are amazing in their own right, can really compare to Tenant. This is where you bring a true foodie if you want to impress them.

Bethany Charlsen: We've dined here many times and every meal is a unique experience. It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.

Wise Acre Eatery: what do users think?

Lynn Choi Perrin: A few wks late posting but this is a great place to go when the weather is nice because there is a lot of great seating outdoors. It is affiliated with Tangletown Gardens, which is noticeably by the lovely planters and the close association to local farms and sourcing of its ingredients. We had the veggie scramble, breakfast sandwich and the breakfast bowl. We came a bit late and just missed out on one of their delicious specials. You order at the counter and then find a seat. Definitely will be adding it to our brunch rotation!

Spoon and Stable: what do users think?

Robyn: One of the best restaurants Ive tried in Minneapolis! The menu might seem pretty ordinary but everything was very goodRecommended dishes Dry-Aged Duck Breast …

Jonathan Robinson: Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated! Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.

Raquel Tabor: Recommended dishes Pot Roast

Akshaya Bhagavathula: My recent dinner at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis was an experience that truly stood out in my culinary adventures. This beautifully restored horse stable turned restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu, curated by Chef Gavin Kaysen, is a testament to his expertise and commitment to showcasing the best of Midwest ingredients with a French twist. We started with the foie gras terrine, which was rich and perfectly balanced, and it became an instant favorite at our table. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side that complemented the duck without overshadowing it.What really made our meal unforgettable was not just the food but the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. They recommended excellent wine pairings that elevated our dining experience. The dessert rounded off the evening on a high note, with creative and delightful options that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine made Spoon and Stable a dining destination that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out, this restaurant promises an evening that’s both enchanting and satisfying.

Borough: what do users think?

Matt Kalan: The execution has consistently been good here. The menu has nice variety and is updated fairly frequently. The highlights last night were yellowtail sashimi with a sauce and surprisingly carrots in a pestoDietary restrictions: They had a lot of options for gluten-free either inherently or could adjust items

Alton Gerold: My girlfirend and I went last night 1/10/24 and had their date night special, all courses were excellent, service was great! We will certainly be returning in the future. Good idea to visit both this location and Parlour in the basement if you are making a trip to the cities for either restaurant.Parking: Parking was very easy for us on a Tuesday as a spot was open in the paid parking lot 20 feet from door, on a weekend it may be tougher as this area has more limited parking and is very busy on weekends. Likely valet would be the way to go on the weekend and visit both Borough and Parlour to get full value!

Gwendolyn Hodge: to the main meal

Terisma Teems: Raleigh was able to book our large party on short notice! Kim our server truly enjoyed our crowd and was a delight. She explained all the delicious courses as they rolled out. The private rooms are truly private and uniquely designed. Thanks for another event, you are an event planners dream!Vegetarian options: The veggie options were plentiful and delicious. The jalapeños were new and so good!Dietary restrictions: I had several with allergies and restrictions and Kim was able to manage with out embarrassing anyone. Safety first.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator that I had to use due to a current injury. It could have been cleaner.

Steven Starksen: was absolutely amazing giving us good descriptions and helping us come to good decisions on our meal. Only a couple of negatives brought down the score from 5 to 4. 1.

erik alvarez: Alex was amazing. He went out of his way to accommodate us and make us feel as if we were the most important people in the world that night. What a guy! And the food was incredible too. The smokey flavor that gets trapped inside those meats is an experience like no other. My only complaint is that the night had to end. There are really expensive items that are of the utmost superior quality, but also more inexpensive options and appetizers that share similar quality characteristics. All in all, an experience in culinary delight that I would argue one shouldn't miss in their lifetime. Thank you again, Alex, for making our night exceptionally special and amazing
