Smack Shack: what do users think?

Alex Rudie: Stopped in for a late lunch on a rainy day and was able to order off the dinner menu a little early. We got the lobster poutine as a an appetizer, and it came out super hot and fresh. The cheese melted on top was so gooey and delicious. I ordered the stuffed salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and flakey, and the lobster stuffing was yummy. The wild rice was a tad sweet but still yummy.

Terry B: lobster roll was beautiful and packed with meat, served with really good Frenchfries. Although I felt it was a bit bland, I would order it again. I would try the hot one next time. It is pricey, they usually are. It was 32.00. The fish taco was great!

Sarah Washington: I've been a loyal customer at Smack Shack for years, and I can't believe I haven't left a review until now. This place deserves a solid five stars, not only for being an exceptional restaurant but also for making me feel like part of their family. The food at Smack Shack is absolutely phenomenal, especially their cheesecake, which I believe is the best in the state, if not the world. The customer service is top-notch, with everyone being incredibly kind and friendly. The cooks at Smack Shack are truly phenomenal, and I believe they have the best chef in town. I've celebrated my birthday there every year since I just turned 44, and it's always been a memorable experience. Even my grandson loves it there, as they are kid-friendly and even have a beautiful patio where you can bring your fur babies.I must also mention the amazing happy hour they offer. The lobster roll is a must-try, and their drinks are top-tier. If you haven't been to Smack Shack yet, I highly recommend you give it a try. And when you do, make sure to mention that Miss Washington sent you!#SmackShackLove #FiveStarExperience #FamilyLikeVibes"#Boom#1Love

Betty Danger's Country Club: what do users think?

M R: Went before the ownership change, quirky and fun place for a date night.

Kim Wolfe: Two thumbs up for this place. Celebrated a family member birthday and what a treat it was. Relaxing, fun atmosphere. Unique opportunity to ride a Ferris wheel while dining. This place is the cherry on top for all your celebrating needs. Nice employees. Update: This place is now closed!

Elizabeth Jarrard: . And the staff is so lovely.

Collin M: This place is so cute! The bartender was so kind and wonderful too! More people need to go here.

Jess S: I hope this doesn't stay closed forever. I love this place.

Nicole Taylor: Fun mini golf

Cherelle Parker: Fun little spot. Burgers were so good. Nicely flavored.Parking: Lots of free parking.

Daniel Lopez: Neat hangout spot, very unusual location for a Ferris wheel but we’re here for it! At the very top you can see the Minneapolis skyline far in the distance. They also have a 9-hole mini golf course while you enjoy your drink or hang with friends. Both of these activities need tickets which you can purchase at the bar. Seems like a really cool spot to hang out with friends for some drinks.

The Freehouse: what do users think?

Emily Braverman: cool presentation but weird taste. They clearly have their own twist on the classic soup and it doesn’t work well, in my opinion. Can’t recommend.Parking: Minneapolis so all paid parking, meter police were everywhere.Kid-friendliness: They had kids meals and mickey mouse pancakes

Fey Fey: Yum yum yum. Love the outdoor seating.

Ania Williams: This was my second visit after almost 3 years and I was pleasantly surprised. Tuna appetizer was fresh. I would tone down the mayo in the Wasabi aoli but it was ok. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic and the roasted chicken was amazing. Probably the most tender I've ever tasted. I was not impressed with the salad. The dressing was pretty bland. Overall. Pretty good food.

Monica Sherman: BRING BACK THE CHILEQUILES!!I LOVED this dish, although I did sub rotisserie chicken for the chorizo. But now it's off the regular menu and I WANT IT BAAAACK!!!Pretty please give Everyone a chance to at least try it my modified way OR a suggestion...AT LEAST allow us to order it OFF the SECRET unprinted MENU!!!!!!!????

Shaun Cooper: Great restaurant/brewery in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Parking can be a little difficult to come by, but usually you can find a meter on Washington Ave. Food is fast and delicious, as well as the beer and cocktails. We like the breakfast options and usually have a hard time deciding since there are so many good choices. It was busy on the Sunday morning that we were there so the wait staff took a little longer than was expected.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsKid-friendliness: Definitely a place you can bring the kids to.

Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge: what do users think?

Jay Shen: . And decorations were also in alignment with its tiki theme. The pizzas were pretty good as well! They were relatively smaller in portion but tasted good. I wouldn't consider food as a review priority for this place because it is mostly famous for its drinks and atmosphere, and both are nothing short of great!I will miss all the memories from this place as it has allowed me to socialize with others in relaxing manners on summer days.

K. Tsoutsoulis: This was a unique bar & foods tiki bar experience.A decent selection of cocktails, with mythologies for each drink, and exactly 1 NA cocktail, but it was a good one.As for food they were complimenting the drink, and not meant to be full meals. The tots, with special dip were pretty good, the sliders were tasty, and had flavour. If you came here in the summer, you had a wait for anything, which is just had to be accepted, the wait staff were always doing the best they could, and there were a lot of tables.Outside in the summer & fall was where it was at, even if you didn't get too much of a view of the river. The atmosphere was what it was all about.Sad to see this go, among unique, quirky, and fun places to go.

Dawn Hilgers: Wish they weren't selling the restaurant. But where can we buy the tiki decorations from Suzi's? When's the auction.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Prim Ilagan: Psycho suzi is an okay Tiki Bar, by default since it’s one of the limited Tiki Bars in MN. It has a large nice patio along the river for warm nights. Inside the decor is 70s tiki with bamboo and palm top to bottom. The carpet is neat- printed wood planks. There’s a sizable drink menu but is not served in Tiki Mugs unless you decide to purchase the mug. We had pizza, it was okay- nothing special. Drinks are below average. Ambiance is fun but not much else going on there.

Mary McGee: and I rarely eat at restaurants because of it. I was so impressed with their willingness to help me find a meal I could eat! The manager himself stopped by to make sure they had the list of allergies correct before they placed the order. It was one of the best salads I've ever had! I didn't even think to take a picture, but I'll just say it was beautiful. :

Aaron Forbes: First time in a long time have had such spot on food. Their 60/40 burger can only be described as divine. Not a lover of Swiss and Mushroom Burgers but this may just have converted me.Glen was an excellent waiter, spot on with recommendations and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Bartender makes some mean margaritas also which rounded out the experience nicely.

Paige Meldahl: JESSICA D was absolutely amazing, she was engaged, she was very conversational and honestly so kind. Her customer service was insane & made our girls night out so amazing, thank you Jessica!

Kevin Drew: Awesome service and environment. Had the Eggs Benedict. Was the best ever. The sauce was real and the smoked flavor was also wonderful.

Kris Anderson: started us off. I had the short rib on buttery grits, and my partner had the steak special....pricey but the best steak we had ever had...a terrific Wagyu flatiron. Perfect temperature, finishing salt, etc. Just perfect in every way. We split the pavlova for dessert. Service was refined but warm, and the glow from the fireplace and soft jazz made for a nice evening.

Andrea Kiepe: This is more of an Italian-American place, so I would not recommend pasta here unless you want to have essentially an upscale version of Olive Garden. But many people are happy with that and the rooftop deck is gorgeous. I had a great cheeseburger and glass of wine and enjoyed myself. Service is friendly and helpful.

Jasmine Mazariegos: I amored it

Samuel D. Wood: Really good salmon. My wait staff was very attentive. It was a Great experience. Thank you.

Evelyn Boyd: We’ve been here several times and it’s always excellent but this time was even better. JoJo, our server had great recommendations. The oysters were perfect, entrees were delicious as always, and the sticky toffee cake put it over the top along with the China China Amaro that JoJo recommended. Thank you to all who work so hard to continue to make Red Rabbit so excellent in the North Loop.

Laura Chemler: I really appreciated the number of vegan options and variety they had. The vegan buffalo bites were the consistency of falafel but taste similar to buffalo wings. The seating is ample and partially covered, the view of the lake is excellent, and you didn't have to wait long for your food. The Painted Turtle is a great addition to the food options associated with the lakes, and could easily rival Sea Salt as the superior option in 2024 when they have beer.Vegetarian options: Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Vegan optionsParking: Right next to the parking lot

Jalen M: Need to refuel after walking the lake - they got youDate night - they got youBeach day with the kiddos - they got youHave already been there more times than I can count and have yet to be disappointed!

Urban Eatery Minneapolis: what do users think?

Kyle Schiemo: My wife and I hosted our groom's dinner here, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was incredible, while being able to cater to ~40 people as well as multiple dietary restrictions. Our two servers dedicated to the event were wonderful and ensured everything about the event went smoothly - from serving drinks, to interacting with all of our guests, to ensuring the timing between speeches and food being served went seamlessly - they did an excellent job with everything. And the event space was perfect, large enough to comfortably host our group while also being warm and inviting. Overall, we had the perfect prelude to our wedding. I would wholly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to host a special event.

Ryan Kassel: which was delucious, still hungry so ordered the mushroom soup which was great and was full of a variety of fresh local gourmet mushrooms! Menu is fantastic, would def recommend, great bar too!

Andrew l Jaffee: We had a family lunch on a sleepy Saturday afternoon there and we were treated to great food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We had a glitch with one of our 7 meals and they managed it a bit awkwardly. However, the manager made a real effort to fix it, even if that effort was late into the experience. Overall this is a spot you will enjoy if you like the whole gastroub vibe

Preston Holt: . We have been here three times and have had a great experience each time. I really recommend their shrimp tacos and their house potato fry things. Never seems busy, which is odd.Parking is kind of confusing but luckily city street parking is close and inexpensive. They also offer valet, though I've never used it.

Carra Otten: "I have the best taste in my mouth!"- me, after eating from 4 different plates; The nachos, hummus, micro green salad, and the best, the falafel burger. The manager stopped by to see how everything was, he was delightful. The Versist Strawberry Mint Spritz, recommended by the amazing waitress, Miranda, was great!....we're currently giggling too much to finish this review. Until next time! The others at my table, see reviews below... copied my words!!! No more Verist for them!!!

Lisa Carmichael: I hope you reopen. Such a great spot to meet for breakfast. Enjoyed the service and the food. Also enjoyed eating indoors and outdoors.Parking: Small parking lot, but there's street parking

Gaby Witt: Food and service was great. Especially the huevos racheros! I get an iced chai everywhere I go and this one was 5 stars. When they warn you about the bee problem, take it seriously. They have lots of plants around the patio that attract pollinators. Obviously there will be pollinators. Stop complaining about the bees you were warned about when you walked in the door. Gee whiz.

Janelle Sorenson: Know the restaurants that play overly loud music, so you can't talk while at a table? Thankfully, this is NOT one of them. We have been here quite a few times, and the food, service, and atmosphere are always top-notch. The first time, we didn't realize the happy hour menu was only for the bar and patio ... it would be nice if it was restaurant-wide. Otherwise, the food is incredible. Having a vegetarian in the family, there are quite a few options available at this place! Parking is a breeze at this location, too! We will be back!
