Dakota: what do users think?

Beau Larson: Great musical guests, great food and terrific ambiance.

Doug Pletcher: .

Tyler Verding: Great food, cool set up, good music, great service. All around a fantastic experience, will be back for sure!

Jay Smelkinson: This was my first time at this venue. It's a very chill place with everyone sitting down to watch the show. The food was good, especially the broccolini. I sat in the upstairs and had a great view of the stage.

Billy Cripe: The music was great. View from the back of the 2nd floor was restricted so be aware of that. They seemed understaffed because service was very slow.

Colin Monette: If you want to experience what every good big city should have at least one of, a great curated jazz club, check the Dakota. The ambiance is dimly lit and cool. Bit of highbrow, classy. It’s dinner and a show and it attracts world class performers alike.

Noby Powell: Great food and music! Intimate venue.

Walter power: Great vibe . Good music and people

caveman all-american: Nice venue

Ray Seville: New owners, just needs some TLC

Drake Friesen: Awesome concert venue

Jessica Husted: Such a great date place. The ambiance is romantic. The lights are dim and the music is great. The food came out very quickly. We had the cauliflower appetizer, which was great. The beet salad was DELICIOUS! The chimichuri steak was good but had very little chimichuri. Potatoes with the steak were boring.I would definitely recommend this for a date night.

First Avenue: what do users think?

Danielle P: This was a drive by visit, and I took a few pics... would love one day to actually go to a concert at this location. First Avenue is Minneapolis' historic nightclub, made famous by Prince's Purple Rain shot in 1983.First Avenue opened in a former Greyhound Bus terminal in downtown Minneapolis on April 3, 1970. Originally called The Depot, the club brought in prominent national acts. Prince often performed at First Avenue along with other popular artist.Don't forget to see the gold Prince star on the outside of building. Silver stars commemorated key artists who had played at First Avenue. Prince Rogers Nelson died of on April 21, 2016. Its worth a stop if you get a chance to visit Minneapolis.

Nye's Bar: what do users think?

Amber Crowley: Nye's bar was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with a fantastic crowd that really added to the fun vibe. The piano player was exceptionally talented, providing great music that enhanced the overall experience. I had a fantastic time at Nye's bar and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lively night out. The combination of the vibrant scene, energetic crowd, and skilled piano player made for a memorable evening that I won't soon forget. If you're in the mood for a good time with great music and a fun crowd, Nye's bar is the place to be!

S: Great service and like the new take on the place but who tf wrote this drink menu? Vodka in a mojito? Ginger ale in an old fashion? Assuming new ownership but can you have someone who knows standard recipes write your recipes, even with being "crafted" like tossing blueberries in a mojito without changing the foundational recipe which never includes vodka, please? Christ. At these prices you'd think the foundations you add on would at least be accurate. Also, $12 for drinks that have well liquor is pretty shameful as well, just make them all the $13 drinks with call liquor. Smfh. Great service, though

Crooners Lounge and Supper Club: what do users think?

Cammie Wadman Baca: Best venue and food was great! Go to Maggie's Lounge for dinner and piano bar, no reservations and full menu choice...good entertainment.

DD C: Was there for the music and not really the food.

Pam Lawrence: 👌🏾 Fabulous

Elisa Lobo Neese: We had great fun coming here for the first time. Diego Figueiredo, the Brazilian acoustic guitar master had a marvelous solo concert. He’s so talented! We ordered the French dip and the Grain& Greens salad. Both were good as was the service.

Jennifer Cole: Absolutely loved the show. We will be back.

Linda McLoon: It is hard to write a review of a jazz club. Live music is almost always fun, and I like jazz. The main woman was very good. In fact, all the live music I have heard here was good and fun. So this place is great on the music. The food is typical supper club middle America. That is not necessarily bad, as some of it, like the beef sliders, is very good. The rest is fine. The cocktails on their menu are all way, way too sweet. Order your own or do what I did, and have some bubbly. The cheesecake was fine, smooth and rich. The carrot cake was not to my taste, as it was dry, the frosting way too sweet, and the clove flavor was too strong. So, the food is uneven. The service was great, very attentive. So a 5 for music, a 3 for food. We always go with friends, and that makes any evening out fun! They have a large parking lot, which is nice.

Wayne Egger: Excellent talent, food & atmosphere. What more could you ask for?

Karie Merkwan: Great service, excellent food, and wonderful music!

Nicole Warolin: Great place to see a show, and wonderful food!

Linda Rooney: Food, drinks and service fantastic!! Music spectacular!

Cathy J: Love this place!!!!

Jeremy Baker: , it sounds like a great place to play as a musician. Gotta check it out!

Whiskey Junction: what do users think?

Cl Cordes: Great time and good drinks. Will be back

Dan Gray: Old school live music venue.

Alexis Patillo: Super friendly staff and decent priced drinks made well! The bartender Juli and the security guy Garrett are awesome.

Jessica Torrez-Jerkovich: Pleezer is playing Weezer songs tonight as the first band tonight. I believe there's another 2 or 3 blands playing afterwards. 90's night. We know one of the members and try to see them play when possible.

Brian Wene: Whiskey Junction is a wonderful bar with some very great music events! I highly suggest this venue/bar for a future outing. Great staff & fantastic live events make this bar one to visit.

J Fitzgerald: Great music

Off Duty Astronauts (Off Duty Astronauts): We LOVE bars that host local musicians and appreciate live music. The Whiskey Junction was a Twin Cities staple for many years and we were sad to see it go. Support local bars that support live bands before they are gone! Keep Minneapolis and St. Paul alive and don't just hand it over to the DJ scene!

Christopher thomas: 5 star staff . Love this place

Wilebski's Blues Saloon: what do users think?

Mark Plotnick: Got a great table with friends, squeezed in and enjoyed a variety of blues and a bit of dancing.

Kim E: Fabulous!!

Michele Hamersma: Great acoustics and bands booked by owners.

Rae Frame: Door is in the back, if you hit the Popeyes then you’ve gone too far. Absolute gem of a bar with easy bites, friendly staff, and spectacular live music.

Earl McLain: I went with friends to see the Jimmy's. It was my first time there. If you want a server, go somewhere else. But if you're looking for an awesome venue with great music, you'll love this place. It packs up quickly, so plan on getting there early and grab a burger.

Kevin/Pam Kittridge: The Jimmy's were great.

Jan benoit: Haven't been in there in years but it was a great time watching Lamont Cranston, definitely will be going back

Brooke Klausen: Excwl

J Fitzgerald: This place is amazing! It's like an old school roadhouse with really cool murals all over. It's a little run down and not the cleanest bar but that is part of its charm. The Open Blues Jam every Tuesday attracts some fantastic musicians and plenty of people swing dancing on the huge dance floor. You don't see folks getting down like that anywhere else in the Twin Cities!

Jaque Luna: Better known as “El Cancún”. Latin bar most frequented by Mexicans mainly, and therefore they play a lot of regional Mexican music, the DJs do a good job and mix other contemporary musical genres as well. The main track is somewhat small.🗣️ Spanish/English.Parking is a bit limited, so you have to arrive at a good time to avoid having to deal with it.

TaNia S: 😍😍

Abigail Erickson: Only the best vibes. Tuesday night jam band is so fun, the dance scene is immaculate.

Bernard Thames: Very nice 👌

Amy H.: Absolutely loved it!
