GU: I loved getting my hair done here, this was my first sew in, I got 30inches, and I couldn’t be happier. I got them done in April, now it’s October and I’m going to get them removed, trim the ends of my actual hair and eventually go up to 34inches! Walking out of this salon, I’ve never felt more confident having this extremely soft luscious hair. She made it blend PERFECTLY with my hair color and you can’t even tell I have extensions. T Sordahl: Chemo is hard – but losing my hair? Wow! That was really tough. I knew that a hat really wasn’t going to work for me professionally, so I started looking at “alternate hair.” There are a lot of online stores available from which to purchase wigs, but the sites were cold and impersonal and actually made me feel worse about my loss. To be honest, I really didn’t know what I wanted – I just knew I wanted to look like “me” again.From the moment I walked into her studio Eileen was so compassionate and patient. She has such a friendly manner that after a short time I forgot that I had just met her and we chatted like old school chums! She explained to me the difference between the various options, and once I settled on the right material, length and color, she took out her sheers and gave it a professional haircut! I learned that she is a professionally trained stylist, and it showed when she was able to pull off the casual layered look I wanted. I went out the other night with my new ‘do, and I can honestly say I felt more like ME again than I had in a long, long while. Thank you, Eileen!

Desiree Lyons: Well organized. Big. Fully stocked and clean. The ladies that work here are nothing but helpful and friendly. Parking is available and right in front of light rail on university avenue and lots of other businesses. Quiet and spacious with lots to choose from including wigs, haircare, makeup, purses, sunglasses, lashes, jewelry, contact lenses, flat irons, hair dye, belts, hats, body jewelry and so much more.Only down I've felt is the wig shopping seems rushed or just think the ladies could just allow the customers to pick out 5 units at a time to look through instead of one at a time it feels like it's inconveniencing the small staff or just a bother sometimes. I don't take it personal, but I feel bad and rushing to spend hundreds on these units can get pricey and don't feel people would return if they regret their purchase that cannot be returned later.So maybe make it less restrictive when customers picking out those items in particular? I dunno. Just a suggestion. But overall. Recommend this place, no doubt!

Candice Davis: When I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer I immediately started looking for a custom wig maker where I could donate hair & I found caring comfort. My wig is gorgeous; I did have bangs cut into it which made it look more like me. My only complaint was it took longer to arrive than I paid for but they made it right in every way possible & would recommend caring comfort to anyone who wants a quality wig this is the place! The reason for 4 stars is the cost but you get what you pay for..cancer is expensive enough but the wig makes me feel whole again.

She came over and explained that ever since Covid, they've had an uptick in theft. We had no idea.This nice lady's name was Mary Jo and she loves working there. She is very personable and terrific at her job.I left her store feeling so good. I know it's the Yin and Yang of life, but seriously, leaving that 1st store up the street left me feeling very bad.Mary Jo was superb and I am going to recommend that my clients go to THAT store. I work with male to female transgendered people. It's truly important to get the right wig and the right person to help you find it, whether it's for a trabs oerson or someone undergoing cancer treatment!I was there to get extensions. I saw some on Instagram. I don't have enough real estate in back for the transplants, so that's out.So I thought at 47, why not try it, the worst that can happen is it looks ridiculous and then I play it off like I loved it and run home and rip it off.What I found out is Chrissy knows her stuff, and what hair color works on my head, and since my last hairstyle was a side part circa 1995, I have no way to know what would look good, so she figured out what would.The first few days it was super weird feeling on my head. I wanted to itch it even just to feel my scalp thru it. But its so thin you can't tell. I can shower with it, exercise with it, and even though sleeping took a few days to get used to it, you just get "bed head" now in the morning. Now after about a month, I'm used to it and so is everyone else, my teenage kids don't even stare up at it now.I won't hide it, or pretend I just grew hair overnight, or like my father did, get all mad and not let people talk about it.
