lisa pohl: I cannot believe how lovely, experienced and helpful the two women working were when I recently visited this store. They greeted me visited with me and were very knowledgeable! They helped me pick out just the right length and color extensions and then she even took the time to put them in for me. I cannot recall their names but one of the gals was the manager and the other in charge of marketing as well as worked in the store. I was very impressed with both of them and I love my new hair. To create our custom wigs we work with a small factory that has been creating custom wigs and hairpieces for three generations. Jennifer Phillips: The quality and just overall appearance of my moms wig is amazing! I donated my hair to have a wig made for my mother while she battles cancer and it looks like they scalped me! It’s my hair and it looks like the top of my head too! So real and soft. They communicated very well throughout the whole process and were so kind and also helped my mom with care and wear instructions. If anyone ever needs a wig made I will definitely be giving them Caring and Comfort’s details!

I was very impressed when she started by showing the lowest price wigs and only gradually brought out the more expensive wigs when the customer wanted to spend more. She even showed us wigs that could be cut or re-styled. She exhibited great compassion, patience and understanding and my mother-in-law came home with a really pretty and stylish wig that looks and feels great on her.

Gina Altobelli: Quick service, pleasant and no pressure for sale. She was very sweet and helpful for options and made my mother in law feel comfortable. She explained how the process works and showed her wigs that will work for her price range and works with the insurance. The only thing that was a little difficult was that there are a lot of stairs to get into the house and a little tight area at first. The only reason this was hard is because my mother in law needs help right now getting up and down stairs. Other than that very nice open area and relaxing.

She took the time to let her try different wigs, and then styled the chosen wig beautifully. The difference between my friend's natural hair an the wig is almost imperceptible.We went back today for some hats to wear while the hair grows back The selection is is unlike anything I have seen on-line. Many fun styles and colors that anyone can wear - whether you are looking to make a statement, cover up for sun protection, or going through chemo.I wear a wig myself for alopecia and surgery. I got my first wig elsewhere, and it was fine. Today I bought a new one at Savvy Wigs that is higher quality, more comfortable, and less expensive.Chira has a talent for helping people feel comfortable, and she has the eye of an artist. She is able to look at a person, and find the right thing that will flatter them, and suit their lifestyle. I recommend Savvy Wigs highly!
Candice Davis: When I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer I immediately started looking for a custom wig maker where I could donate hair & I found caring comfort. My wig is gorgeous; I did have bangs cut into it which made it look more like me. My only complaint was it took longer to arrive than I paid for but they made it right in every way possible & would recommend caring comfort to anyone who wants a quality wig this is the place! The reason for 4 stars is the cost but you get what you pay for..cancer is expensive enough but the wig makes me feel whole again.

Desiree Lyons: Well organized. Big. Fully stocked and clean. The ladies that work here are nothing but helpful and friendly. Parking is available and right in front of light rail on university avenue and lots of other businesses. Quiet and spacious with lots to choose from including wigs, haircare, makeup, purses, sunglasses, lashes, jewelry, contact lenses, flat irons, hair dye, belts, hats, body jewelry and so much more.Only down I've felt is the wig shopping seems rushed or just think the ladies could just allow the customers to pick out 5 units at a time to look through instead of one at a time it feels like it's inconveniencing the small staff or just a bother sometimes. I don't take it personal, but I feel bad and rushing to spend hundreds on these units can get pricey and don't feel people would return if they regret their purchase that cannot be returned later.So maybe make it less restrictive when customers picking out those items in particular? I dunno. Just a suggestion. But overall. Recommend this place, no doubt!

GU: I loved getting my hair done here, this was my first sew in, I got 30inches, and I couldn’t be happier. I got them done in April, now it’s October and I’m going to get them removed, trim the ends of my actual hair and eventually go up to 34inches! Walking out of this salon, I’ve never felt more confident having this extremely soft luscious hair. She made it blend PERFECTLY with my hair color and you can’t even tell I have extensions. I knew that a hat really wasn’t going to work for me professionally, so I started looking at “alternate hair.” There are a lot of online stores available from which to purchase wigs, but the sites were cold and impersonal and actually made me feel worse about my loss. To be honest, I really didn’t know what I wanted – I just knew I wanted to look like “me” again.From the moment I walked into her studio Eileen was so compassionate and patient. She has such a friendly manner that after a short time I forgot that I had just met her and we chatted like old school chums! She explained to me the difference between the various options, and once I settled on the right material, length and color, she took out her sheers and gave it a professional haircut! I learned that she is a professionally trained stylist, and it showed when she was able to pull off the casual layered look I wanted. I went out the other night with my new ‘do, and I can honestly say I felt more like ME again than I had in a long, long while. Thank you, Eileen!
