Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School: what do users think?

Shannon Gale: Wonderful lively ballet classes with perfect technique in a supportive and professional environment.

Susan Shourds: This is the best way to learn and enjoy vagonova ballet for adult ballet students. Expert and consistent instruction is provided for anyone wanting to train the body and mind.As studio dancer for over 5 decades, and under this instruction for over 2 years, I can see that Minnesota Ballet always strives to meet the standard of excellence at every level of instruction.

Katie Kreber: I love Kirill's classes for adults! They're a great way to stay in shape, educational, and are the perfect combination of laid-back but still challenging.

Patrice Ehlert: I thoroughly enjoy taking adult ballet classes with Kirill. He encourages students to ask questions, has a wonderful sense of humor, and possesses endless knowledge regarding technique. Students are welcoming, friendly, and positive. I have always appreciated the exercises of introspection and body awareness in dance, so it's marvelous to be able to practice the Vaganova method as an adult. I look forward to many more classes!

S J W: The Saturday adult classes are fun and challenging. The student age range is broad, 20-somethings to seniors, and Kirill, the instructor, is welcoming and engaging. Lots of fun!

vik ser: Enrolling my daughter in the ballet school was one of the best decisions I ever made. Witnessing her transformation from a shy, uncoordinated beginner to a confident, skilled dancer has been truly inspiring. The school's dedication to nurturing her talent and building her confidence shines through in every graceful movement. I am immensely proud and incredibly thankful for the positive impact they've had on her journey. ✨

Ann Marie Ethen: Incredible Classical Ballet School!Instruction in the Vaganova Method of Classical Ballet is given by knowledgeable and talented teachers. Instruction begins with the young tiny dancers to the adult beginner.....I am one of the truly grateful adult dancers learning about this beautiful Art form!

Toleu Mukanov: Great studio and great teachers 👏 👍

Hilary Carter: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

Masha Bak: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThe teachers know what they are doing and care very much about each student that dances here. They are very professional and make sure they correct each student to be their very best.

Kira Hoffman: I have danced at the Minnesota Ballet School, since I was three, so basically since I could walk. They are beyond spectacular. With their careful attention and patience, I have learned so much. They’re Vaganova Academy Graduates, so the authentic, Russian technique they teach is better than anything you could find elsewhere. Your health and safety is their priority. They constantly stress proper foot positions so you don't fall, and they are highly accommodating to any injuries you may have. Only one or two injuries have ever happened in their classes for all the years this school has been running. They always seem to know everybody’s limits, better than even we could, and help us get there. They’re supportive of any other activities or engagements you may have. Understandably, the teaching is somewhat strict, but you will begin to receive an incredible love and passion for ballet through, not despite, this strictness. The people who attend here are absolutely amazing. I’ve made some of my best friends just by spending time in class with them. Through ballet at this school I have achieved an incredible work ethic that I consistently use through my normal life, especially in school. The persistence and mental strength you gain from this beautiful art form is highly valuable and I know I’ll use it throughout the rest of my life. Svetlana and Kirill have helped become not only a better dancer, but a better person.

Maddie Storts: I have been a student at Minnesota Ballet School for 10 years now and this studio is by far the best. The instructors are very understanding and are glad to work out a compromise if another conflict occurs. There is a very positive environment at the school and I have made very close relationships with the other dancers who are all very supportive of one another.

Rarig Center: what do users think?

Harry Greenberg: Hosting Fringe Theater -great venue for shows!

A4NQT: Pericles was 2.5 hours long but seemed much shorter as it kept me laughing & interested the whole time.

Trin Carl: Rarig is just one of the venues hosting this year‘s Twin Cities fringe Festival from August 4-14. Actors gather to perform throughout the week and weekend. Rarigs theater is multi purposeful and has both stairs and elevators. Lots of space for actors to do their thang😉

Elja Roy: The place is ideal for studio based classes. Bonus is the view of Mississippi from the building.

Cary Miller: As part of our well rounded curricula, students are encouraged to take courses outside of their major area of study. I was a pharmacy student so chemistry and pharmacology were my main areas of focus. We were therefore steered toward taking art application classes and my two were film and theater. I saw some plays here as part of my theater studies. The building's acoustics were quite good as were their special effects.

Nasim Hasan: Nice department website

Theresa Michelle Sweeny: The young pianists competition was incredible and I was able to hear more talent from children than I've ever heard in my life

Mark Allen: Great value!!

Chris Deutsch: This is the place on campus where the music and theater magic happens! Various spaces suitable for large and small audiences.

Perpich Center for Arts Education: what do users think?

Zoey Peterson: My daughter attends this school for media arts currently and I attended for dance in the 90s. I can’t say enough good things about this school. My daughter and I both found “traditional” public schools challenging in the social and academic department but both found the complete opposite at perpich. Obviously no school is perfect but I found and continue to find perpich to be as close to as I have seen

Kathy Berlin: My son received impactful and meaningful education at Perpich Arts High School. The staff are dedicated to the educational growth of each student , offering a supportive environmentThat meets the needs of each student.

Gj Thompson: A great community of artistic individuals where students learn not only about art and academics, but also important skills that are valuable in the transition to adulthood, and in life.

Gabrielle Schenk: I had an incredible arts education at this High School and would recommend it to any student who is looking to express their creative abilities and have beyond excellent teachers/mentors.

Lindsey Pleasants: I spent my junior and senior year here in 03. As a theater major, I learned technical skills and intricate training that I wouldn't have began learning until I was in college, which prepared me for advanced materials and methods of acting that were beyond my age. The staff and dorm team make life on campus easy and much like home, as much as you are living your daily art area. This school made me learn my true potential and I will never forget the dreams inside these hallways.

Colby Brumit: Excellent education centered in the arts. As an alumni I can wholeheartedly recommend. Such an amazing experience!

Annika Homstad: I graduated in 2013 from Media at PCAE. I can easily say that attending the Arts High School was one of the happiest times in my life. I was able to receive an education that fit my learning learning style, and dive into art that I loved. I was allowed to explore both myself, and my voice creatively with the support of amazing, dedicated teachers. I received more support and guidance in preparation for college than any of my friends who stayed at my previous high school. I was able to jump into University with an impressive resume and skills that have served me well. Attending Perpich was an opportunity that I am lucky to have gotten, and I hope that many more individuals like myself are able to discover and thrive at the Perpich Center for Arts Education.

Abigail Marolt: The best life decision I could have made.

Mark Wilson: Such a funny show!

Tracy Ramsey: Amazing and funny show! It was my first time but I recommend it to anyone. The cast fit together very well and the Improv portion was hilarious! A little bit of crowd participation so be ready.

Dawn Anderson: . They have a variety of beverages, including hard cider, thc drinks, and some snack foods, which I appreciate

Brent Hill: Always hilarious. Great staff. Lauren Anderson could make me laugh about my own death. She's the star!

James McQuen Patterson: Great fun at the Christmas Show.Long live Josh Groban and Hippos!

Eric Klis: Went on a Wednesday night for their Christmas show. Not every joke landed but a lot of them did. Great energy and nothing like seeing a live show.

Steve Sorenson: 4th time there. Always a fun show.

Rachel Blanford: Always a good time 🙌

Brent Van Lith: and snacks.

Smatthew: Hilarious show. Check the place out, you'll leave with a smile

Slicer- Ness: Incredible show, I had an absolute blast. I've gone to two shows now and my face was hurting both times by the time the show ended due to laughing and smiling so hard. The support staff were also incredibly nice and friendly, going above and beyond to get my girlfriend a bandage when she cut her finger.

Erik Jackson: It was a funny show, very with seeing!

Northrop: what do users think?

Travel Geek: it is a beautiful place

Henry Young Jr: I moved out of state 1995-2023, so it was astounding to return to Northrop to hear Anna Lapwood and discover how terrific the restoration of interior and exterior turned out.

Olaf Minge: What an amazing and historic building - Northrop Auditorium. With a world class restored organ built in 1936 with over 7,000 pipes. Attended a performance by Anna Lapwood, the “Tik Tok organist.”

Tiffany Rupp: It has been many years since I have attended anything here. We came for the performance of Giselle. At first I wondered why they chose a college theater to hold such an acclaimed ballet but as we walked in I was surprised by the regal appearance. The seats are comfortable and it is easy to walk down the stairs to see the pit. My only qualm was that they did not make am announcement for people to not be taking pictures or using phones period. The lady in front of us was constantly on her phone and it was very distracting.

Tracy Wells: Видел балет. Отличное место.

Amber Pietan: Excellent auditorium, friendly staff, and clean building. The sound is very good.

School of Voiceover Training Center: what do users think?

Gabe Zoromski:

Kalin Birkel:

Molly Tucker: If you want to learn from the Pros, you're in the right place. Students are provided professional coaching, technical guidance, and top industrty knowledge. Plus help getting your professional demo done. It is one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Highly recommended.

Jon Bahnfleth: I got brought on as a student not knowing much. Over the course of the training period I have been amazed at how much information we get, but how methodically broken down it is to make it easier to ingest. Dave and Sarah have been there every step of the way to answer questions and to help where they can. I have only done online training and schooling once before this and it went terrible for me. This schooling has given me everything I could have asked for! They have tweaked the sessions to fit industry standards for now. They have made sure that me and my class have been on the same page and ready to help get us all going with smiles on their faces. This School has a great team and a great teaching method that will help you succeed if you choose to put for the necessary work!

spencer gerszewski: Was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their class the syllabus was clearly mapped out and vary straight forward no hidden surprises both Sarah and Dave are vary knowledgeable in their fields and I highly recommend taking their class if you were to be interested in the field of voice over

Joanna Larson: Both Sarah and Dave were wonderful to work with! They make sure to do everything possible to help you succeed. I've never had more fun taking a course! I highly recommend this course if you're thinking about getting into voice over!

Tora Meyer: School of Voiceover Training Center is a GOLD MINE. Dig in to their rich vein of content guided by their generous coaching and you skip away with a wealth of knowledge to launch you on to a career in voiceover. The coaches are insightful and kind, demonstrating well what it is to work as a professional in the field. The group classes and one-on-one sessions in the Core Curriculum are backed with valuable information compiled on the SVTC website and FB group: set up your own professional home studio, practice and develop the skills of voice acting, as well as market and build your business. I am grateful for what I have gained so far from their well-developed program, and look forward to their continued instruction.

Susan Allen: I would give Sarah and Dave 10 stars if I could. The program is a 3- fold education of excellent voice coaching, home studio and getting work immediately. In the time spent with these two experts of over 35 years in the business, they do everything possible to give you the best understanding of creating your own ongoing voice over studio business. They know people and how to bring out the very best in you and your potential. I grew within myself and gained confidence by going through this course. The cost was minimal compared to the instruction and personal care in the both their coaching. They are very relaxed and at home with all aspects of the business because they know what works and what doesn't in this business. I'm so glad I took this course. Amazing is what I call them. Susan

Jacob Castellon: I had a great experience with the school of voiceover. The classes were very insightful I learned so much. The demo is so amazing I couldn't have asked for more.

Victor Richmond: Great experience! The School of Voiceover Training Center, offers everything you need for your VoiceOver career! Not only am I learning how to perform, but also the technical/ recording aspect. We also received insight on the business it self and how to operate with in it! Very comprehensive and thorough! Best part are the various professionals with credits in TV, radio, theater, etc, they have coach you!

Jenica D: Sarah and Dave are so knowledgeable and professional at what they do with the school of voiceover. They really care about their students and give so many resources to help students be successful in the voiceover world. They always answer questions with patience and go the extra mile, offering support with demo creation and production as well as quality home studio construction and creation. I am so excited to have found them to help me launch my voiceover career!

Philip Lowry: Sarah and Dave are very experienced, conscientious teachers who make the course very worthwhile and enjoyable. They both advanced my skills significantly. They are also both nice people who have a delightful sense of humor.

Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists: what do users think?

Merope: and I still think about it all the time. I learned so many valuable lessons here that I still use to this day. My confidence and spatial presence grew substantially; skills that can take you far in any field. I love this school and have created some beautiful art with my fellow classmates. I hope you give it a chance.

Demetrius Winegarden: Hello! I am a current junior at this school and transferred in during freshman year. I have been in the theater and visual arts tracks, with also some experience in the musical theater track. The track I’d recommend is definitely theater because it is the most established and has the best staff. This school does have many faults though. It has a large drama and drug problem, administration that does not listen to students, and a racism/ableism problem. I recommend this school to a student with a little bit of experience and very thick skin. This school gives students a lot of freedom to express themselves and have a good time. As long as you stick with the right people, this school can be heaven for someone that suffered in traditional public school. I have heard a wide range of experiences from this school and it will be VERY different for each individual. It’s still high school. It’s gonna suck at least a little.

Jas The Dragon: This is literally the best school I've ever gone to. I'm a sophomore this year, and these two years have been the best school years of my life. I feel so welcome here, and I feel like I fit in so well.

Audrey Wegner: Hiya! I go here and I have for my entire high school experience. I’m a junior right now and this school is pretty awesome. Yeah, there are some small injustices here and there, but the reviews for the vocal track are awful. I’m a vocal student and there’s no other track I’d rather be in. I’ve met good people, learned worthwhile things, and made some strong bonds. There’s not really any reason to hate vocal track. The last reviews are from like 5 years ago. They’re invalid now. I 100% recommend vocal track.

Laney Bork: and I've had a very positive experience with this school. Contrary to many comments about the vocal track,we have created a very inclusive and positive environment for everyone to feel respected and encouraged to make mistakes and grow. The faculty is very unique and we often have guest teachers each year

Aaron Carsten: Positive:Value

The Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts: what do users think?

Jake Dhillon: Our son goes here for Ballet. We love the support for the arts. Nice view of stage shows 😉

Bern F: Beautiful place of dance.

Megan: My boyfriend and I went to a Spanish performance and it was awesome. The facility was quite clean and the staff was helpful. I'm in a wheelchair and our seats were on the top floor. We were escorted up the elevator and to the accessible seating. The elevator is a little bit out of the way from the main entrance and ticket counter, but it's not too far. It wasn't a problem for me, but someone with a walker or a wheelchair user with less arm endurance may have trouble. The performance itself was great. We will be for another one sometime. I would rate the overall cleanliness, accessibility, and environment of the theater 9/10, with the only downside being the distance to the elevator and upstairs accessible seating for those with lower mobility.

Keith “KJ” Jackson: Great venue

Yvonne Miller: The venue itself was comfortable for the length of the production. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

zazzy ander: Great performance 👏

Stefan Chellsen: Saw a choir perform here and it did not disappoint. Seemed like a slightly smaller venue but it held a decent amount of people.

Dan Powers: This is an amazing venue. We watched the One Voice concert, "Dark Night, Star Bright". The acoustics were shot on. The lighting and temperature were perfect. Looking forward to my next event here.

Diane Anderson: Great theater, small, intimate and not a bad seat in the house. Women's bathroom was spacious. Parking conveniently located. The show; "Who Brought the Humbug" was fantastic!

john posl: Man can they dance!

D&A Talent: what do users think?

Amanda King: D&A Talent has given me and so many others such amazing opportunities to pursue what we love in acting, modeling, and singing. They are professional and create opportunities for our team to develop, connect, and network with others in the industry. They care about their talent and are willing to work hard to help us succeed.

hector Torres: I have auditioned a lot and worked on a few projects. They continue and always have supported me on and off stage. I wouldn’t be anywhere near the person I am today, nor the career I would have no without them.

thida phongsavath: My 4 1/2 year daughter went here for Tiny Stars classes and finished not to long ago. It was awesome! She came a long way from the start to the end. She learned how to do her slate, commercial, monologue and many more. Now she is sign with multiple agencies locally in the twin cities. She booked her first gig recently and can’t wait to see what’s in store for her next. Thank you everyone at D&A talent!

Brooke Janssen: I have been with D&A since 2007! Connie and Heather have been like a second family to me and have helped me seek representation. They are the BEST of the best. They stick with you the whole way even after they help you get an agent/manager. Without their training and helping me gain the confidence I need, I wouldn’t have felt right to make the next step. Thanks D&A!

Tan Huynh: Highly recommend D&A Talent. If you a new talent in Minnesota market, don't know where to start. I would say start at D&A Talent. D&A Talent helped me develop my skills and helped me signed with agencies in Minnesota market. Also helped me build a network in LAD&A employs award winning coaches that teach the fundamentals of Acting and Modeling along with audition techniques, industry do's and don'ts and advanced session. These can make the difference between not booking or booking a job. The more seasoned an actor/model is the better chance they have of nailing an audition and booking that job.

Alex B: I trained with Connie for 10 weeks, and now I'm signed with the biggest agency in Minnesota!! I have loved my time, and I know that I have walked away with more than training, I have walked away with people who genuinely care about me.

Farha Beswick: I love D&A tremendously both Ms.Connie and Ms. Heather are two awesome people who help their talent to sign with agencies and we love the workshops for both models and actors if you are looking for a place to send your children to for both modeling and acting workshops please checkout D&A talents it’s well worth it. And they actually care about their talent. Thank you for everything D&A talent.

Natasha Kasor: Nothing short of a wonderful experience, since choosing Heather and Connie to support my son’s modeling & acting career with the necessary training and practice sessions they provide. Who knew at just 3 years old he would pack so much information. From no experience 6 months ago to seemingly being a professional. Big thank you from our family to D & A Talent.

Nikki Monahan: I brought my son Carter to an open audition in 2020, he got a callback and at that time we decided to not move forward. I was skeptical and wanting to make sure my son was 110% ready to dive into this. After following D&A on Instagram and Facebook for a year, we decided to go back for another audition. When we walked in, I was surprised that they had remembered Carter! I explained to them how I wasn’t ready last year because I wanted to make sure they were legit and Carter was serious about becoming an actor. Connie and Heather were both SO understanding! They never made me feel bad for taking the time to check into them. Carter began training with them for the Industry Network. After months of training, it was time for the big event! Carter won numerous awards and received multiple callbacks from agencies in Los Angeles. None of this would have been possible without the help of Connie and Heather. They took the time going through hundreds of monologues and scripts finding the perfect one for Carter and the other contestants. We will continue to work with D&A on deciding which agency is best for Carter and his goals. Along with providing exceptional training for their actors/models/singers, they create a family. Even though we compete against one another it never felt like it. They carefully choose who to work with and have an eye for talent. During the whole Industry Network all of the contestants felt like family and encouraged one another. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication!

Ricky “RikkiBobbii” Barrett: $5style
