Over the course of the training period I have been amazed at how much information we get, but how methodically broken down it is to make it easier to ingest. Dave and Sarah have been there every step of the way to answer questions and to help where they can. I have only done online training and schooling once before this and it went terrible for me. This schooling has given me everything I could have asked for! They have tweaked the sessions to fit industry standards for now. They have made sure that me and my class have been on the same page and ready to help get us all going with smiles on their faces. The coaches are insightful and kind, demonstrating well what it is to work as a professional in the field. The group classes and one-on-one sessions in the Core Curriculum are backed with valuable information compiled on the SVTC website and FB group: set up your own professional home studio, practice and develop the skills of voice acting, as well as market and build your business. I am grateful for what I have gained so far from their well-developed program, and look forward to their continued instruction.
Susan Allen: I would give Sarah and Dave 10 stars if I could. The program is a 3- fold education of excellent voice coaching, home studio and getting work immediately. In the time spent with these two experts of over 35 years in the business, they do everything possible to give you the best understanding of creating your own ongoing voice over studio business. Made sure my daughters shoes fit. We made it to the right class. We made friends right off the bat. She ripped her tights in the middle of class, they gave her new ones. D&A Talent helped me develop my skills and helped me signed with agencies in Minnesota market. Also helped me build a network in LAD&A employs award winning coaches that teach the fundamentals of Acting and Modeling along with audition techniques, industry do's and don'ts and advanced session. These can make the difference between not booking or booking a job. The more seasoned an actor/model is the better chance they have of nailing an audition and booking that job.

Nikki Monahan: I brought my son Carter to an open audition in 2020, he got a callback and at that time we decided to not move forward. I was skeptical and wanting to make sure my son was 110% ready to dive into this. After following D&A on Instagram and Facebook for a year, we decided to go back for another audition. When we walked in, I was surprised that they had remembered Carter! I explained to them how I wasn’t ready last year because I wanted to make sure they were legit and Carter was serious about becoming an actor. Connie and Heather were both SO understanding! They never made me feel bad for taking the time to check into them. Carter began training with them for the Industry Network. After months of training, it was time for the big event! Carter won numerous awards and received multiple callbacks from agencies in Los Angeles. None of this would have been possible without the help of Connie and Heather. They took the time going through hundreds of monologues and scripts finding the perfect one for Carter and the other contestants. We will continue to work with D&A on deciding which agency is best for Carter and his goals. Along with providing exceptional training for their actors/models/singers, they create a family. Even though we compete against one another it never felt like it. They carefully choose who to work with and have an eye for talent. During the whole Industry Network all of the contestants felt like family and encouraged one another. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication!

My daughter and I both found “traditional” public schools challenging in the social and academic department but both found the complete opposite at perpich. Lindsey Pleasants: I spent my junior and senior year here in 03. As a theater major, I learned technical skills and intricate training that I wouldn't have began learning until I was in college, which prepared me for advanced materials and methods of acting that were beyond my age. The staff and dorm team make life on campus easy and much like home, as much as you are living your daily art area. This school made me learn my true potential and I will never forget the dreams inside these hallways.

I was able to receive an education that fit my learning learning style, and dive into art that I loved. I received more support and guidance in preparation for college than any of my friends who stayed at my previous high school. I was able to jump into University with an impressive resume and skills that have served me well. Attending Perpich was an opportunity that I am lucky to have gotten, and I hope that many more individuals like myself are able to discover and thrive at the Perpich Center for Arts Education.

Mr John: Wonderful place for kids performances. We saw dragons love tacos and it was adorable. Highly recommend for a day out with the kiddos.
Deborah Uhlemann: We saw a fantastic production of Beauty and the Beast! I was with my son and daughter-in-law and four grandchildren ages 3 to 8, and we all loved it. Great acting and singing, with clever costumes and sets. Fun to see the actors and get autographs on our programs after the play. A special shout out to Ronan Guevara, who was perfect in the role of Gaston!

Kymberli: Such an amazing small theatre. I volunteer there quite frequently and to see the behind the scenes work of each play really helps me appreciate it more. They do great work and even have a decent intermission area with food, drinks, and local art.

Harry Greenberg: Hosting Fringe Theater -great venue for shows!
A4NQT: Pericles was 2.5 hours long but seemed much shorter as it kept me laughing & interested the whole time.
Trin Carl: Rarig is just one of the venues hosting this year‘s Twin Cities fringe Festival from August 4-14. Actors gather to perform throughout the week and weekend. Rarigs theater is multi purposeful and has both stairs and elevators. Lots of space for actors to do their thang😉
Elja Roy: The place is ideal for studio based classes. Bonus is the view of Mississippi from the building.
Cary Miller: As part of our well rounded curricula, students are encouraged to take courses outside of their major area of study. I was a pharmacy student so chemistry and pharmacology were my main areas of focus. We were therefore steered toward taking art application classes and my two were film and theater. I saw some plays here as part of my theater studies. The building's acoustics were quite good as were their special effects.

Jamal Adam: The iconic Penumbra Theatre which highlights human condition through the African American experience . This is one of the best theatres in the state if not the country. I recently saw the play "Wine in the Wilderness" and it was spectacular as it showcases Black women's identity from multiple perspectives while grappling with class and patriarchy.
Thom Costa: I finally made it to The Black Nativity, one word. Amazing! A must see holiday experience.

Drew Fuller: I visited the Penumbra Theatre with my family for the first to enjoy their iconic Christmas show titled Black Nativity. The entrance to the theatre is unnassuming, and somewhat underwhelming. However, from the formal yet very welcoming greeter handing out programs and then entering the theatre itself felt warm, intimate, and unique. The play itself was a tour du force, with the lead expertly performed by legendary jazz singer Dennis Spears. The music, singing, and dancers brought the biblical story of the birth of Jesus to life in a way that I won't forget. Inspirational, life affirming and utterly joyful. Bravo Penumbra, my family and I look forward to attending more productions at your theatre!!

For those that have never been to the PENUMBRA theater you don't want to miss a show this is the show that gets you to want to go again and again very intimate setting, yet spacious ample parking

Henry Young Jr: I moved out of state 1995-2023, so it was astounding to return to Northrop to hear Anna Lapwood and discover how terrific the restoration of interior and exterior turned out.
Olaf Minge: What an amazing and historic building - Northrop Auditorium. With a world class restored organ built in 1936 with over 7,000 pipes. Attended a performance by Anna Lapwood, the “Tik Tok organist.”
Tiffany Rupp: It has been many years since I have attended anything here. We came for the performance of Giselle. At first I wondered why they chose a college theater to hold such an acclaimed ballet but as we walked in I was surprised by the regal appearance. The seats are comfortable and it is easy to walk down the stairs to see the pit. My only qualm was that they did not make am announcement for people to not be taking pictures or using phones period. The lady in front of us was constantly on her phone and it was very distracting.

Ken & Kathy Melin: The Alive and Kicking play was truly AMAZING and JOYFUL filled with HEART WARMING STORIES and MUSIC. The director was full of love for his company of actors an singers. His energy was amazing to watch! Could watch it all over again!
Jane Beckwith: The Bloomington Chorus sang their Spring concert featuring many Broadway favorites. There were many soloists who were all excellent. A very entertaining concert.

Rebekah Thompson: Wednesday evening farmer’s market and live music is a lot of fun! Plenty of variety in the food vendors so everyone finds something they can eat. NorthStar Tavern had three great brews on tap at their tent the evening we went.
Daniel Picard: Great theatre company in the heart of Bloomington!The customer service during the ticket purchasing and before the show is great!The quality of the product is top notch! Each show is led by excellent actresses & actors working within beautiful sets and often times feature a live band/orchestra.They do require masks to be worn by the audience while in the theatre and the DO enforce it, which is a plus!I can't recommend enough! Buy a ticket, sit back, and enjoy!

Goldenface Jacob: Went here with my school on a field trip it was great!!!! And nice view and a play about an African American girl who has a evil stepsister and the prince was looking for a bride so the sisters rushed but one sister was rude to a poor man who was really the prince and the other sister was kind give him food and lived happily ever after
Hannah Buss: Steppingstone produces high-quality, professional shows with amazingly talented and hard-working actors. The amount of work and time put in to each rehearsal process is incredible. I like how the Core Company members check in with each of the actors to see how they are doing with the show and balancing schoolwork, to see if there is anything they can do to help. It is a supportive, inclusive, educational, but extremely fun environment. The staff are very collaborative with the actors, but definitely know what they are doing and have a lot of prior theatre experience. The costume and set designs are awesome too!

Bathrooms are brandnew, beautiful and gender neutral. Concessions were affordable and fast. And the show, Christmas At The Local was superb! I will definitely be back!
